There are a couple of tall maroon stemmed flowers in the Ormond Gardens with small flowers that put on quite a show in June before many of the other plants begin flowering. I think of the comparison between tall and short or big and little in life. This plant has both. We can often miss the little acts of kindness. As they add up, they grow become more noticeable.
