Speaker 1:

Welcome back, Seahawk.

Speaker 2:

Nation. I'm Tom Frank, I'm Grayson Frank and I'm Gene McDuffie and I'm Finn Mulvihill.

Speaker 1:

And this is Hawk Talk, and we're talking all things South River High School sports and a whole lot more. Hawk Talk is brought to you in conjunction with the Athletic Department at South River High School. Merit Creative, your end-to-end creative agency dedicated to amplifying brands' authenticity through branding, marketing and public relations. Chad's Barbecue and Maryland Remodeling Expert. All right, guys, we've got to run through the recap of our spring sports, which, seem like in a blink of an eye, we're already at the end of our regular seasons.

Speaker 2:

Yep shortest season, Very short.

Speaker 1:

Quick. All right, so let's start with track and field. About half the school, I think, is on track and field. What do field? About half the school, I think, is on track and field what?

Speaker 2:

do you guys know what goes on at track and field? I know we got some fast guys. My guy kieran, uh, speedster, man, speedster, I think he runs the 400, 200 and 100. Just a very versatile dog. Yeah, you know I'm saying so, he's real fast. Um, our guy pitta, yep, throws real shot. Put real aki guy, real strong guy pitta throws the shot put yes, he does?

Speaker 1:

How far does he throw that thing? I don't know, but I saw him squat 550 yesterday.

Speaker 2:

He's throwing it pretty far. He's throwing it pretty far.

Speaker 1:

That's our track and field team. All right, our tennis team finishes their regular season at an impressive 10-3. They head to the county championships at Annapolis High School over the course of May 6th through the 8th. So let's go cheer them on. Let's go. Softball following a 17-1 win versus Annapolis on Wednesday, They've won five straight at home.

Speaker 2:

They're sitting at 11-7.

Speaker 1:

They have won eight games by more than five runs this season. Did you guys know that?

Speaker 2:

That's impressive, pure dominance.

Speaker 1:

Pure dominance. Cj Harris pitched the first four innings of this Annapolis game. Didn't allow one hit, while striking out six At the plate. Catherine Lippincott went one for three with two runs and two RBIs, which gave her a new career high. And Carla Marano went one for one with a one run, one double and one RBI. Not bad.

Speaker 2:

Not bad for the softball team.

Speaker 1:

They got two games left in the regular season today. Versus every run at home, First pitch is at 445, and then they finish the season on the road at Westminster on Monday, May 5th.

Speaker 2:

Let's close out strong. Yeah, that sounds like 2-0 to me.

Speaker 1:

That's 2-0. The girls La Crosse are on a three-game winning streak, following two wins this past week 15-11 over Crofton on Tuesday and 15-4 over Falston on Wednesday. Let's go. They sit at 9-3-1 and finish their regular season tonight on the road versus Chesapeake at 5 o'clock hey finish their regular season tonight on the road for Chesapeake at five o'clock.

Speaker 2:

Hey man, they almost beat Savannah park Like we got it. I'm telling you this is the year, this is the year I we got to stop getting the almost wins. We got to get the winners. Let's, let's put Savannah park in the dirt when we see them again.

Speaker 1:

All right. And then our boys, the cross. They've bounced back. As you said, jayden, they would last week after dropping their only three losses of the season. They have won their last three 19 to 1 over southern, 12 to 8 over crofton and 9 to 6 over northern. That puts us at 10 and 3 with our final game on the road tonight. I believe they're at chesapeake wait, tom, you said.

Speaker 2:

You said 19 to 1 against who?

Speaker 1:

19 to 1 over over over harwood no you already know what's up with them.

Speaker 2:

Makes sense. Makes sense, you know rival school. They can't hang with us. Yeah, they can't.

Speaker 1:

They can't, cannot hang. And then we got to end with baseball, since we got a baseball guy here with us. Yep, the fellows went 1-1 last week, following the Saverna Park Ha 13-3 on Monday and then Rabid win over Annapolis on Wednesday 8-3.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, senior night on Wednesday was a great win, for all the seniors too, it was a fun time, good time.

Speaker 1:

How many seniors do we have on the team? We have eight, so the eight of us played, and then Nolan Hooker, the stud.

Speaker 2:

he stayed in, he played with us.

Speaker 1:

All right, so they do for senior night. They put all the seniors in the lineup. I like it. Yeah, it was cool. Yeah, they all got to hit.

Speaker 2:

A couple of the people that don't get to play much got to hit and it actually played pretty well, so it was fun. Love to see it, love to hear it.

Speaker 1:

I'd like to see that too, so tell us about the rest of your season. Where are we sitting right now?

Speaker 2:

What's the record? 10-7?. Yeah, we have seven runs tonight, which should be a win. And then we have Westminster on Monday, which also should be a win. Right now we're locked into playing Arundel at home on Thursday, first playoff game. Not bad, yeah. We beat them last year, we beat them this season, so it should be a good win. And then we'll see. And hopefully, if everything goes to plan, we'll see.

Speaker 1:

Decatur Saturday morning, next Saturday. So what seed are we?

Speaker 2:

I think we're the four. I'm pretty sure we're the four seed. I think yeah. So I think we're the four seed and Arundel should be the five.

Speaker 1:

All right, and how are you doing? Personally?

Speaker 2:

This is probably the best season I've had so far. As of now, I have 20 hits, I think Pretty good fielding percentage. Okay, yeah, I'm doing pretty well right now. Hopefully I keep it going in the playoffs, do you?

Speaker 1:

know what you're batting.

Speaker 2:

Average yeah. I think 360. 360. Spin blue.

Speaker 1:

Now do we have any home runs?

Speaker 2:

No, I do not. I do not have any home runs.

Speaker 1:

You've got to get a home run here.

Speaker 2:

I know I'm a contact hitter. He's saving it for the playoffs A lot of singles I'll play, I'll save it.

Speaker 1:

Who's the big home run? Do we have a home run?

Speaker 2:

hitter Probably Deshaun Branch and Nolan Hooker just hit a home run the other day against the Verna Park.

Speaker 1:

Of course you did man Yep Stud. Big-time player and who's our pitchers? Who's our big pitchers?

Speaker 2:

For us. We have our three main starters Preston Preston Case he's Another one. He started a bunch of big games for us. And then Jason Tebbe is another starter for us who's pitched great games, a lot of wins. And then we have two closers, dom Drain and Bradley Taylor. They close most of our games and then I'll pitch a little bit. Yeah, it's pretty good staff.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, sounds like it All right. No-transcript, we're going to win Monday. Tell us again when the playoff game is.

Speaker 2:

Thursday at home against Arundel and Decatur.

Speaker 1:

We've got to win. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Speaker 2:

Seahawk Nation be there. Are we going up to Decatur? We know what we do at Decatur.

Speaker 1:

If you're the 4-5, does that mean Decatur is the number one seed?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, decatur is the one They've got the bye Interesting seed. Yeah, decatur's the one they got the buy interesting, that's gonna be a big one then.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's win out here, let's win out, and then let's take care of business next time, I agree all right, that's. I mean. We only have a few more games of regular season, and then we hit the playoffs across the board. So speaking of playoffs, though, do I dare say this one word Lakers.

Speaker 2:

Man, I mean Shannon, wasn't wrong. So what I'm going to say is, when they won the game game four, man, I knew we weren't going to win another game. But you know, I was just. You know, I was just cherishing every moment of LeBron's moments on that court Because, you never know, Is it over for LeBron Is.

Speaker 2:

LeBron done no moment of LeBron's moment, because you never know, is it over for LeBron? Is LeBron done? No, he's not done. You never know nowadays. But no, honestly, I'm going to throw that game on. Just Rob Palenka not getting us big. I mean, we made Rudy Gobert look like Shaq. What did he have? 27-24? 27-24. Playoff career highs Horrible.24, I believe 27-24. That's what makes the playoff career highs. That's just shit Horrible. Okay, I got two things Rob Palenka and Austin Reeves. Austin Reeves, if you're hearing this, how are you going to shoot that bad, take that many bad shots, have that many turnovers? He is not getting paid next year. I hope he knows that.

Speaker 2:

Not getting paid. I do think we do have to address that. Luka man, what is this defense? We've been seeing this is horrid, this is disgusting defense.

Speaker 1:

Wait a minute. Has it changed in the last five years of?

Speaker 2:

Luka, it's looked a little lazier. Bro, he's gotten bigger. Yeah, like his offense is cool. Like you know, he's a dominant offensive guy. But I just watched a clip of him before I guess he found out what American food was, because he was like, just came into the league dunking on people playing full-court defense and he's kind of lost that. He's kind of lost the spark. I feel like he let the money get to him, the money and the food too.

Speaker 2:

So you're blaming American food on his defense, blaming American food on Luka Doncic's not playing defense correct? I mean, does Redick have a say in this? How, saying this, how do we feel jj right guy, I feel like so I think he did a solid year. Um, I mean, he did get in the third seed. Yeah, exactly, I think. Um, you know him and lebron being coaches of the team, you know very, really help um the lakers, but, um, I feel like lebron's at a point in his career where he can't. He still is the main guy, but he shouldn't be. He should have to play 40 minutes in the game.

Speaker 1:

Four, where he is.

Speaker 2:

40, yeah, where he is 40, but he has to drop 30 points to stay in the game. 30 points, triple double, like he's really get breaks and I feel like luca luca being on the ground every five seconds. He was sick, apparently, but I think that's cappy's defense. And austin reeves, I mean going over nine in the first half on fadeaway threes. That's ridiculous. Wasting nine possessions, no rebounds, no defense, like can't be happening. Can't be happening, can't be happening. Ant-man just killed everybody. Yeah, yeah, he just devoured. Yeah, I mean, it is what it is. Nasri was big off the bench as well, and Jaden McDaniels Jaden McDaniels was fire off the bench. Fire off the bench. Which? Lakers had 13 bench points as the most points. That was the most points they had in any. They didn't have any bench players come in the fourth quarter. I know because the bench had zero points. Yeah, it was ridiculous.

Speaker 1:

Bronny. Bronny didn't put any points up.

Speaker 2:

Bronny.

Speaker 1:

Did Bronny even get in the game?

Speaker 2:

They didn't give my man no burn. It's ridiculous yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think LeBron might be done.

Speaker 2:

No, absolutely not. I was talking to him the other day. He's good.

Speaker 1:

I think LeBron might be done.

Speaker 2:

No, you don't want him to be done.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if I want it, but I think he might be done.

Speaker 2:

No, he's good. What did he average this year? 24, 9, and 8? Are you serious? He's good, he's good I was talking to him and Savannah the other day. We're straight.

Speaker 1:

What else?

Speaker 2:

Anything else in the playoffs. I mean, he put Thompson on skates and the Soar is like the best sperm of the Thunder. He put him on skates to hit a three to I mean really to end it. He put up 40. He's gold. Yeah, he's nice.

Speaker 1:

Is Finn still with us, or is he thinking to himself?

Speaker 2:

what has happened to Austin? I'm not a big basketball guy, Tom. I'm not a big of topics to get to. I do want to address one more thing in the NBA, please. I mean the Warriors getting blown out the other night kind of shocked me Curry was smiling though he was, he was. Do we think the Rockets have a chance here? They're so young, they are so young. I really like the Pistons too. The.

Speaker 1:

Pistons are gone, oh wait. The Pistons too. Pistons are gone, oh wait.

Speaker 2:

They are. Pistons are gone. They're with the Lakers. They're hanging out in Cabo somewhere. Yeah, no, I like the Rockets a lot, yeah, yeah. Can we address one thing though? Huh, let's talk about Pat Spencer Davidsonville alum getting ejected from the game. He's a.

Speaker 1:

Davidsonville alum.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he, he's a Davidsonville alum. Yes, he went to Davidsonville.

Speaker 1:

Elementary and he got thrown out.

Speaker 2:

He got thrown out of the game. He got in Dylan Brooks' face. Yeah, I know Draymond loved that. Oh, yes, he got ejected, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Do you think he's a first Davidsonville alum to get thrown out of an NBA?

Speaker 2:

playoff game. He's the first Davidsonville alum to be in the league.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

He was the number one lacrosse player in the nation. He switched sports Only up from here, only up.

Speaker 1:

Only up Can we talk about your guy Sanders, shedder falling for the fifth Outrage.

Speaker 2:

He's a clown.

Speaker 1:

What's your opinion? Tom, Does he have money? I thought for sure the Eagles were going to take him.

Speaker 2:

I'm glad they didn't. No, shedder's a clown. He's the epitome of what is wrong with college football in 2025. That's my opinion. That's not ridiculous. I think that Dylan Gabriel doesn't. Jalen Milrow, whoever? That 35-year-old from Louisville, tyler Schell, are you serious? Do you see him in the game? He's doing underhand pass for an interception? I will say, though, he's got potential. He's 26. He's 25. He's going to be 26 when he plays Bro, are you serious? I see the potential in him. Shador threw for 4,000. 40 tuds. Shador is entitled Entitled.

Speaker 2:

I would be entitled to be arrogant, yo, every college football player is arrogant. You got to be arrogant. I think a lot of teams passed on Shador because at least coaches. I think, yeah, becauseion, if, if they fail with him, you know, maybe dion would be the replacement. I think a lot of teams were just, I don't think they saw. I think they see the potential in sudor, but I think they're scared to make the pick. I think I, yeah, exactly, I think they were, um, what's the word? I think, yeah, I think they were just, you know, a little hesitant. Hesitant, yeah, about taking sudor, because they know that sudador's been around so much his whole life where he might know more than some of these people, and they don't want to be questioned by a rookie. They want to be like you're a rookie, listen to me. But Shador, his dad, his dad's seen it all. He's been training with Tom Brady since he was 12. He's seen it all. So they don't want to be challenged by a rookie quarterback. I think that's part of it.

Speaker 1:

I think that's part of it.

Speaker 2:

How would he be challenged? He went 13-12 at Colorado, 1-8 against ranked teams. He's a clown, he sucks, he sucks. There it is.

Speaker 1:

You know what I think? I think he's going to make an outstanding starting quarterback for the Toronto Agronauts. Tom, I agree, I agree. I think he's going to be fantastic in the. Cfl.

Speaker 2:

Where did you get that team?

Speaker 1:

from. I just pulled that as the only team I could think of in the CFL.

Speaker 2:

Oh, so like the Shanghai Sharks or something, future DC Defenders quarterback he could be.

Speaker 1:

And I'd root for him. I'd root for him as part of that team.

Speaker 2:

Right, yeah, all I got to say is put the watch up to their face.

Speaker 1:

Norm, norm, the haters, norm the watch up to their face, nor nor the haters norm, the capitals, oh yes, oh man. We. We did not call it correctly, though they did not. They did not sweep and they did get beat in game four. We had predicted that they would. They would win by at least three. Nothing, but we got it anyway in game.

Speaker 2:

Five yeah, uh, what did terrify me actually was thompson going down from when dylan strome collided with him. I, it was terrifying. But um, this next series coming up is going to be difficult the hurricanes, I believe. It's going to start either tuesday or wednesday and it's going to be it's going to be a physical series. I think it might go, but of course I got my caps and OV. Yeah, I would say you got OV, you got Tom. I would say, honestly, beat them in game 6 or 7. Like 6-7. I don't know which one. It's going to be one of the two, though for sure.

Speaker 1:

You think it's going that far? I'm calling it now Five games.

Speaker 2:

I believe we did get swept, though in the regular season by them.

Speaker 1:

I didn't have that bit of information.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but at the end of the day we have the best goal scorer of all time.

Speaker 1:

And I think we have the best goalie.

Speaker 2:

I agree Best goalie in the league. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

All right, we got to keep Finn engaged here, so I pulled up something for you guys.

Speaker 2:

What.

Speaker 1:

It's the ESPN's way. Way too early NFL power rankings.

Speaker 2:

Eagles should be number one. I'm not sure what they are.

Speaker 1:

Let's start at number 10.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, let's start at number 10.

Speaker 1:

Number 10, the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 2:

Not bad. I agree with that. Trusting a rookie quarterback. You have a rookie quarterback coming in and you think they're already the 10th best team. Where's Sam Donald quarterback that? You have a rookie quarterback coming in. You think he they're already the 10th best team. Where's sam donald seahawks? Yeah, I mean, the defense is there, the offense is there. I do like o'connell as the coach. I just think I mean mccarthy is going to determine the team.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure number nine, the Green Bay Packers.

Speaker 2:

I like that. I'm a big believer. I love Jordan Love. They might hopefully for their sake they have got their wide receiver one, matthew Golden.

Speaker 1:

Number eight. I think they chose the wrong LA team for number eight. They put the LA Rams.

Speaker 2:

I like that actually how do you? Like that Stafford's a dog man. Stafford, you like that Stafford's a dog man?

Speaker 1:

Stafford's getting old.

Speaker 2:

Stafford is a dog man. I mean he uses a cane to get on the field at this point.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think the Rams finish last in their division next year, really.

Speaker 2:

Wow, that's hot. Tom, that is very hot.

Speaker 1:

That's what I think. Number seven the Cincinnati Bengals.

Speaker 2:

Not bad. I mean I think they got to get a defense first, but I mean I'm all for the offense. I mean they got the best. Joey B's due, he's due, yeah for sure. That's why just keep it due. In the league they're playing the best conference in football they're going to be comp.

Speaker 1:

That's for sure. Don't forget about the Steelers. The Steelers aren't on this list.

Speaker 2:

That's crazy. Can you actually name the Steelers' starting quarterback for me?

Speaker 1:

Don't worry about quarterback, it's an overrated position.

Speaker 2:

I don't know about that one, I just screwed it up.

Speaker 1:

Number six are Washington Commanders.

Speaker 2:

Too low, too low, but, but I like it. I need to see who made this list. That is an awful. That is an awful take. Why is that an awful take? What was the score of the? All right buddy rookie quarterback. All right, and just wait, just wait, just wait. Saquon can't, he can't do it every year we. We'll see.

Speaker 1:

He might but, Number five, the Baltimore Ravens.

Speaker 2:

I like that. I'm not mad because we can't prove ourselves for crapping the playoffs. I think Till Lamar can really have a playoff performance where he shuts up everyone. I think five's a good spot for the Ravens. Vin just said Lamar needs to go. That's a top three quarterback in the league. Vin just said Lamar needs to go. That's a top three quarterback in the league. That is crazy.

Speaker 1:

You can't win the big game though.

Speaker 2:

You can't.

Speaker 1:

Peyton Manning was 1-8 in playoff games.

Speaker 2:

He cannot win the big game. That's the bottom line. So you think Jalen Hurts. You've had Jalen Hurts since.

Speaker 1:

Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 2:

Seriously See. This is why I hate the Super Bowl. This is why I hate the Super Bowl talk. He got carried by Slickwad Barkley in a great off his line. Come on. Finn, he got push-pushed in the end zone every five seconds.

Speaker 1:

You can't tell me Hurts is better than Jackson he's.

Speaker 2:

Bunda. No, I'm not saying he's better, but he did a job. Who would you rather have Me for real Horrible, God awful. You should never watch football again and talk about football ever again.

Speaker 1:

Number four, the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 2:

I love them, they're so overrated I'm so excited about them, but guess what? They did beat the Ravens in the playoffs. I agree with the take.

Speaker 1:

I do like Josh Allen.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love Josh.

Speaker 1:

Allen why I like having a big quarterback who can throw the ball a mile and run anybody over quarterback who can throw the ball a mile and run anybody over.

Speaker 2:

I'll give you that. I'll give you that. Yeah, I'll give you that.

Speaker 1:

All right, we're in our top three now.

Speaker 2:

Do you?

Speaker 1:

have any guesses on who number three?

Speaker 2:

is Chiefs two, no, chiefs one, eagles two, and who's the third? We're missing a big. The Lions are third. The Lions are third.

Speaker 1:

The Lions are third. I think that's way too high.

Speaker 2:

I agree, after what a rookie quarterback just did to them in the playoffs and they lost both their coordinators. They did. I'm not a big fan of Ben Johnson personally. I think he's a great offensive mind. I don't know if he can lead a team with the Bears. They have a great head coach, though. Dan Campbell is the man Dan Campbell is the man.

Speaker 1:

Dan Campbell is the man, and then sitting at number two, our defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia.

Speaker 2:

Eagles. Why are the Chiefs number one? Yep, I mean, oh my gosh, I'm an Eagles fan and the Chiefs being number one, I can agree with that. No, I mean, at the end of the day, you have the best playoff performer in the league right now. It's former in the league right now.

Speaker 1:

Uh, it's not, it's. I still think you gotta give eagles one, just just off the pure fact that they won the super bowl. This is disrespectful, yeah, honestly I'm gonna give you my, my hot take here. I don't think the chiefs are even the best team in their division stop it, stop it, I'm taking the chargers who didn't even make the list.

Speaker 2:

Talk to me when herbert gets a playoff win.

Speaker 1:

He's going to get one this year.

Speaker 2:

Who's the wide receiver? One Keenan. Is he even there anymore?

Speaker 1:

No, keenan's a free agent right now, bro, who do they?

Speaker 2:

have oh no Chill, they have Ladd McConkie and Quinton Johnson, the one that has to call the ball and save his life. I mean, the running back room is looking good. I like Amarion Hampton and Najee Harris. I don't know if you should have picked Amarion Hampton first round, but I do like him. But, tom, I got a question.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Why the Chargers?

Speaker 1:

I'm going to put the Chargers number one in the division and I'm going to put the Denver Broncos number two.

Speaker 2:

That's rage bait. They don't even have the. Oh my gosh. That's rage bait. That's crazy. What do you see in Bo next?

Speaker 1:

I see an up-and-coming quality quarterback.

Speaker 2:

I like that, though I don't. I like that, I don't. I actually hate that pick. I just despise that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm not sure if they're, I don't mind, sean Payton, the date is Friday. Friday May 2nd. I'm going to say it right now the Chiefs don't even make the playoffs.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, this would have to be a Mahomes injury, isn't this? The fact that every year, mahomes has played and started? He's made it to at least AFC Championship.

Speaker 1:

Yes, the streak stops this year.

Speaker 2:

That is ridiculous. Okay, I think maybe the streak stops, but it stops in the playoffs. That's ridiculous. The only way this happens is if Mahomes is playing on two broken ACLs. You never know Broken.

Speaker 1:

ACLs Torn ACLs All right, that's my hot take.

Speaker 2:

You guys each get one Hot take for this coming NFL season. Yeah, make it better than that one. Oh, give me a. I mean, I don't think it's a hot take, so I'm not going to say it, but I was going to say Gene Daniels, mvp. But it's not a hot take, it is a hot take, that's a hot take.

Speaker 2:

You got to be out Burrow Mark Allen and Mahomes. I mean, as a rookie, he was right there. No, he wasn't, he was top six. Personally, my hot take is the Commanders don't even make the playoffs, stop it, stop it. My hot take you want to hear mine? Yeah, you want to hear mine. I think last year was a fluke for the Commanders. I think they don't make the playoffs either. I agree, I think they had the Hail Mary. They had too many close games. They had too many close calls. No, but we finished in these close games. That's a talent to be able to finish in. You, finishing in the last minutes of the game had your record go from maybe 500 or less to a great record, but I'm telling you, it's a skill to be able to finish close games.

Speaker 2:

It's not luck I don't think you're going to have the skill this year. We'll see. I don't think so. We'll see my hot take I'm going to try to go AFC here. Let's see here. I think Stroud has a big bounce back here. I love it. I think Stroud throws for 40-plus touchdowns. That's oh God.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, 40 touchdowns 35-plus touchdowns.

Speaker 2:

Stroud throws for 35-plus 40. Nah, put him on here. Give me 37-plus, 37-plus touchdowns. I like D'Amico Ryan. I think he's a great defensive coach. I think they just got to figure out their offense. They have Nico Collins who is a I think he is a top five receiver in the league. No, DeHop's on the Ravens. Yeah, DeHop is on the Ravens. I don't even know why I picked him up.

Speaker 1:

DeHop's, older than LeBron Alright, who has given their hot take.

Speaker 2:

Yet I think we all have, we all have. We have Finn and Jin saying the Camaras aren't going to make the playoffs. I have Stroud throwing for 37-plus touchdowns this year.

Speaker 1:

Nobody's going to say the Eagles won't make the playoffs.

Speaker 2:

Because they will. Tom, that's what I'm saying. As long as they got Barkley, they got a chance, they got off at the line, they can run Barkley. It could be hard to stop. That's not even a hot take, it's impossible.

Speaker 1:

All right, close us out.

Speaker 2:

What else do you got? Final thing here oh, county championship lacrosse Monday For Severn Park Northeast At Northeastastern.

Speaker 1:

It's Saverna Park South River at Northeast.

Speaker 2:

It's so horrible. 5 o'clock. We need to win.

Speaker 1:

Are we healthy?

Speaker 2:

Trevor's getting back. Trevor's coming back. I'm not sure when he'll be back. They might be saving him for playoffs. I think that's a smart move. It looks like he's getting better. They have the region and the county think that's a smart move. Yeah, it looks like he's getting better.

Speaker 1:

He's got to have the region and the county. Yeah, I agree, that's a good point. Get the last laugh. Yeah, all right, we've got to get out there. We've got to root for it. If you can't make it, watch it on the. What is it called?
