The Awards Tape: Oscar Predictions 2025 Second Draft

Back in April we hosted our first conversation of the awards season with a way-too-early glimpse at the potential contenders ahead, and in July we revisited that with our first official draft of above-the-line category predictions. With the dust now settled on festival season we are now offering our second draft predictions for above-the-line categories including Picture, Director, and Original and Adapted Screenplay, all four Performance categories, and Animated and International Feature. As awards season continues to develop, we’ll be doing specialized prediction episodes that feature three categories at a time until we’ve covered all categories ahead of nomination morning. All the while, our team’s predictions will be available in real time on our website.
