Ben Kalina is an award-winning director and producer whose work centers on the collision between human nature and the force of nature (Can We Cool the Planet?, Shored Up). His latest work, Plan C for Civilization, has its World Premiere at DOC NYC 2025. Plan C for Civilization tackles the promise and peril of solar geoengineering with exclusive verite access to its protagonist David Keith and the SCoPEx project as well as the rogue geoengineers of Make Sunsets. Ben sits down with Danny Jarabek to discuss the film and its relationship to experimental climate change solutions.
