Distributed by 20th Century Studios, it is the sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) and the third installment in the Avatar franchise that has grossed over $4 billion at the global box office. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, and many others reprise their roles from the previous films.
