Just Another Football Monday
Let me ask you one question.
SPEAKER_03:The north floor is North Floor is for North Floor. The North Floor is supporting the support network.
SPEAKER_02:You gotta get on the North Floor is bored, it's born network.
SPEAKER_03:Hey, it is just another football Monday. We're like halfway to the NFL season. November starting. We'll have our the first college football rankings released. Playoff rankings. Playoff rankings. I got Jimmy Reno here. I got Miami contributor Justin here. We're gonna kind of go over this last football weekend, react to it. Wanted to get Justin on here to give him a chance to. You know, air's grievances, man, after Miami on the road loses to SMU 2620 in overtime in a Crystal Ball special. Is that fair to say, Justin?
SPEAKER_01:I feel like I predicted this game four years ago when I said we should have hired Rhett Lashley instead of Mario Crystal.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Yep. And um just uh what what what happened, man? I didn't just take me through it. What happened?
SPEAKER_01:I think uh Louisville uh figured out the uh the secret sauce against our defense, and SMU did exactly like Louisville did, and they threw a bunch of quick passes.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:You get the ball out before Ruben Bain can get to you, and then you just kind of hang on and wait for Chris the ball to ship the pit.
SPEAKER_03:Right. And he did.
SPEAKER_01:That's what happened. Um I mean I I noticed this really, even in the uh blowout game uh a couple weeks ago against Stanford, the offense there's not a lot of imagination to it. It's a lot of run up the middle, and then throw the plane of the Tony or throw it each the Tony. And and that gives it. I mean, that's what kind of Tony is unreal. You gotta do something more. I mean, he's not the only type of we've got. I mean, the one thing you gotta create the ball is you can recruit. So get the ball in the athlete's hands. You gotta open up the offense more. I mean, the offense It's a completely different offensive last year, which I get Martin Beck's not Cam Ward. Well, but there was I mean offensive line is blocking great because like that's got all kinds of time. There's no need to throw quick slamps.
SPEAKER_03:Right. Well, take me through the end of the game in particular, because I saw from what I gathered is a team that it didn't go the way they imagined, and they quit. Because you didn't allow SMU to run for anything. All game. So then I guess you give the ball up, so they kind of the defense just lets them run right into the end zone after they stopped them the whole game. Carson went Carson Beck, I'm sorry, throws a pick in overtime, and then before overtime starts, you have a tie game after you've given up the lead.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that that's what I want to know. Is what's your take on taking the knee with 25 seconds and a timeout?
SPEAKER_01:Oh, I was infuriated.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. That's Chris Ball right there.
SPEAKER_01:That's the that's I was infuriated, dude. Uh I mean, it's like Crystal Ball's overcompensating for not taking a knee against Georgia Tech three years ago.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I don't understand that one, man. You have you all you need, and you have a timeout, you just need like a long pass over the middle.
SPEAKER_00:Give yourself a shot to well like and like Justin just said, you have a kid in Malachi Tony that can take a short pass and rip off 35 yards and get you in field goal range immediately.
SPEAKER_03:That's the stuff that regardless of bad officiating, regardless of turnovers, regardless of that, that's the kind of crap. That's the kind of crap that I'd be most pissed about if I was a Miami guy.
SPEAKER_00:This game was was one of the ACC's classic, you know, we're gonna give the underdog every call we can.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, yeah. I was I was holding off on bitching about the officiating because I hate to do that.
SPEAKER_03:It's worth brought it's worth bringing up.
SPEAKER_00:The ACC does it all the time.
SPEAKER_03:Because we gotta do it, we do it when they do it for FSU. It's just the way they operate against themselves, thinking that it it's gonna it's better for somebody if they give it bullshit because you see you've been in games where you're playing against an SEC a team and there's SEC officials, and you see it just called better. Because they're held to a higher standard. And the and the ACC officials are not. No, they're not.
SPEAKER_00:There's there's no there's no that's all it is. There's no reprimand that they don't they don't have to answer for.
SPEAKER_03:There's more money in the SEC, there's more cameras, there's more, I guess, you know they want to get it right, but ACC, I guess not. But anyway.
SPEAKER_01:Well, what's so funny about that too, though, is nobody does the instant replay better than the ACC.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and they they even they managed to to fucking screw that shit up in this game a couple of times. Even though as transparent as it is, they got at least two calls on the replay wrong. When the guy up in the booth is like, oh yeah, I see it's right there. Uh like, no, dude. Like, it's I I don't know. It it reminded me of the Wake Forest game when they moved the ball against Florida State. Yeah, it was one of those type of like, dude, it's not even they're not even hiding this shit.
SPEAKER_01:Um, but still, even sooner this year, the uh the Wake Forest Georgia Tech game.
SPEAKER_00:Mm-hmm. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Georgia Tech was all by a mile off sides, and they were just like, Yeah, no, good to go. Good to go.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. I mean, that's what it is. It's we're not trying to sit here and be, all right, it's just terrible. There, there, it's a terrible league. We've seen it for years, and it reared his head again. But there's also things that that Christoball does when it's when he his butthole like clinches up every time the time, dude. So you you knew it. It's like, oh, we're playing on the road, it could be close, so we might lose. So it's almost like you gotta win by double digits to get the win.
SPEAKER_00:And I like even all that being said, man, if if Carson Beck just throws the ball on time instead of double clutching, like Tony walks into the end zone.
SPEAKER_03:But then and then what's worse is him just the just his demeanor. Oh, yeah, George is.
SPEAKER_00:Well, it's it's it's the transfer era, man. Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, just to uh you don't say that crap. Right. Well, he's not Cam Ward. That's what you don't say that. I mean, you're still trying to get a job at the NFL, right?
SPEAKER_01:I I is he just doing suicide press conferences.
SPEAKER_03:He just that's just he throws he throws everybody under the bus, man. He just he's such an entitled little POS.
SPEAKER_01:He seems and the refs on the back end on the back side of that play miss an absolute mugging.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, they tackled the receiver in the end zone.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I don't understand that. So there's no, but there's no yeah, that's ridiculous. That was you can't win when that happens. It was gonna Miami, all right. So Florida State with the win, Miami with the tough loss. Do you think that cancels their playoff hopes?
SPEAKER_01:I mean, not as long as the referees keep giving games to Georgia to make sure that they don't lose two games.
SPEAKER_03:Right. Um, because Florida's the one that's gonna be.
SPEAKER_01:Oh my god, dude. I mean, how much in the bag are the officials for the Georgia Bulldogs?
SPEAKER_04:Right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:My God.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, Kirby clapping a couple weeks ago. Oh, it's it's it's yeah. Kirby, man.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it's just the way he talks to the officials.
SPEAKER_01:Dude, the very clear catch that the Gators made in that huge part of the game, make that diving catch, and they're like, nope, incomplete.
SPEAKER_00:No, it's incomplete.
SPEAKER_01:We're not gonna just give it to Georgia. Don't even let them play anymore. They're not that good.
SPEAKER_03:They want to get in, but like they're trying to get in six SEC teams. Yeah. So you think that that I think that's it for Miami.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, yeah. No, I mean barring.
SPEAKER_03:They need to win out, and then they need to have a little well, they need to have an utter chaos in the ACC happen where they can somehow slide into the championship game.
unknown:Right.
SPEAKER_03:If they get it, if they can win it back to Charlotte, if they get to Charlotte, they're in. They can get a tiebreaker somehow, but you're gonna have to have a lot of help. You need Virginia to go ahead and lose.
SPEAKER_01:Louisville basically has to lose out.
SPEAKER_03:Sucks that that NC State loss that Virginia had didn't count as a conference loss. Right. That's pretty huge. Yeah, so you need them to lose. You need them to you gotta have to have them lose twice. So you're probably not getting a Charlotte.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. No, I need we we would need Louisville to lose three times.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. But you do have a big win over Notre Dame. You're gonna get pit. So you need to win out and you need to win out convincingly. Uh, Notre Dame plays Pitt in a couple weeks. Right.
SPEAKER_01:That's gonna we're not playing Pitt. I've been saying it since all the time. Yeah, I know. You said that the end of the season, man.
SPEAKER_03:That's the same type of game that I feel like you could have that just happened. Like it's gonna be one of it's gonna be a close game, and they'll figure out a way.
SPEAKER_01:Uh and indeed before the Louisville game, when we were doing our our NFL picks, I'm like, oh, look out. This is a sneaky game against Louisville Friday night. We you know that's gonna be a tough one. Then I called it again this time, and I've been calling the pit game all season. That's gonna be a nightmare. Yeah, so what those are your crystal ball games. Those are your three crystal ball games on the schedule.
SPEAKER_03:What does Miami do here? Do what do they just have to keep trying with Crystal Ball or do you have to? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I mean, he's still his buy-out's still crazy high. And I mean he's gonna be able to do that. He's been able to assemble more talent on this team than anybody since freaking Butch Davis.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I got it. Yeah, you're not moving on from Crystal Ball. No, it's it's kind of like a Jimbo without Jameis, kind of yeah, and that's kind of what you're open for there.
SPEAKER_00:Is that you just you know, you get the quarterback that you had in Cam Ward, another version of that, and it lines up with the good defense, and then boom, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Because if you had this year's defense with last year's team offense, you have a that you're walking into the playoffs, right? I think you get I think you're right. I think that that I mean it's frustrating as it can be, you know, and I I jab at Miami fans when I have a chance because it's I don't have many.
SPEAKER_04:Right, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:And I've taken a brutal beating this year.
SPEAKER_00:It's gotta, it's gotta line up, man. You gotta, you know. Like for for Saban and Alabama, it would that that's you know, that's not gonna happen for 99% of the the teams out there. Right.
SPEAKER_03:But they're just gonna reload and well that was a that was such there were so many things that went into that, like Danny Cannell's dad ruining that and allowing that to even happen. Otherwise, and that otherwise he's in the NFL with Drew Brees and Tom Brady and Bill Belichick don't even have the dynasty they have. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00:So, I mean, it's so many little things that can it's actually amazing just how much misery the Cannell family has caused two different fan bases.
SPEAKER_03:That is a like I would like the dead the that decision, the evaluation of Drew Brees' yeah arm and to go with Dan Dante Culpepper to offer to offer the sport forever. That should be a 30-30.
SPEAKER_00:Well, the decision to offer Danny Cannell a scholarship instead of Danny Warfel at Florida State, the kid from Fort Walton Beach. I mean, come on. Yep, there's no spurio without that.
SPEAKER_03:That is true.
SPEAKER_00:Fuck that family, man. Canals or something.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, and I mean, like we were saying, this is I mean, you go back and listen to the podcast when we first hired Christopher, and I said, we're gonna go 10 and 2 just about every year, and we're gonna have two head scratching losses at the worst time possible.
SPEAKER_03:Yep.
SPEAKER_01:And it's it's exactly what happens.
SPEAKER_03:Yep.
SPEAKER_01:He's a massive talent, and he's an awful game day coach.
SPEAKER_00:But some of those 10 and twos, it'll be seasons where the schedule lines up where you'll have tiebreakers over teams.
SPEAKER_03:And you get 12 teams now. So, I mean, like you're right. I mean, if you look around, you gotta you gotta you gotta get the talent. So you go with the guy that's gonna at least have the talent.
SPEAKER_00:And the ACC is just that the schedule this year is weird where all the top teams don't really play each other.
SPEAKER_03:All right, let's go. Uh let's go around, let's go to the NFL. Um it was better than the week previous. The Cincinnati Bengals, man. Good god. Another, like last week, you're like, they they play the Jets, and they give the Jets the win, and they're like, and then the Bears, the onside kick, you're like, Well, here's the Bears.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that's how they do it. The junior sitting here texting me, cut, like cussing at me through the text match, because I was I was celebrating the Bears' win. Yeah. I was like, you guys gotta do that.
SPEAKER_03:So they had like a pick six, and they and then they had to overturn that. Yeah. And then all hell broke. But they score too soon, and the Bears come back and and score in 47-42 to the final there. They were just a great football. What the hell was the defense doing?
SPEAKER_02:Like, not backline. Both defenses. Right. Both defenses. What are you doing? You you like you you don't even wrap up, you just put your shoulder into the guy. Right, right.
SPEAKER_00:You're gonna let this big slow white guy just run wide open in the middle of the field.
SPEAKER_03:Just that was nobody worry about him. I've never seen some like worse defenses than what we saw there. That's it professional football, too. Right. These guys are getting paid a lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Last time I saw defense like that, dude, it was when Al Golden was coaching Miami and I was coaching the Cincinnati defense.
SPEAKER_03:I knew that was coming. I knew that was coming, man. That's awesome. Well, Buff, your bills, man. Your bills. Big win for the Bills, man. Big win for the Bills.
SPEAKER_01:They dominated that game, too. It wasn't nearly as close as that score said.
SPEAKER_03:I know. Well, Andy Reed pulled out some trick stuff. He does that a lot. He he kept it close.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, that because he's not fourth and 17 to Rasheed Rice was nuts.
SPEAKER_03:That team was better. You know, Andy Reed's a better coach than McDermott. That's that's probably why it wasn't a blowout. But yeah, Buffalo, they made a statement win. They hadn't really had, you know, people were questioning them and their wins. And last week they did it on the road against the Carolina team. That's not that's not a pushover as they went into Green Bay. Right.
SPEAKER_00:They're not the worst team in the league.
SPEAKER_03:No, they're they're they're pretty good. You know, they're solid, and they they dominated Carolina physically, which I thought was a big wow, I didn't expect that. And then they came in and beat Kansas City, a team that's had their number in the playoffs, though. Now they can beat them in the regular season, and now they're six and two. And uh the AFC East is looking like they have a little showdown here. The bats and the because the Pats look like the real deal.
SPEAKER_01:Well, yeah, I mean, right, how about two teams, man?
SPEAKER_00:No, I know, right? Putting the top seeds back on the table because Daniel Jones turned into a pumpkin.
SPEAKER_03:Yep, and uh Bo Knicks, um as bad as he looks sometimes. Right, that's just how he plays. Yeah, he's got short-term. He it one thing you do, I do like about him, he doesn't care. He just next play. Right. And they they their defense is really good. They're on a hot streak. Them and the Pats are the hottest teams in the league.
SPEAKER_01:Uh the Colts and Nick just seems he seems to do just like just barely enough, right when you need it. I mean, it's kind of like Haynes King at Georgia Tech. He's not that good, but all that bastard does is win.
SPEAKER_03:He's a winner. Yep, that's exactly right. Uh that so man, but the the Packers doing this is just when you think the Packers are gonna be the number one seed, the dominant team that we all thought they'd be.
SPEAKER_00:They lose at home to the Panthers. Right. Another game where people are scratching their heads, be like, so how is Jordan Love considered a good quarterback again?
SPEAKER_03:Like, what is in he's inconsistent.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, they didn't punt one time and they only scored 13 points. Insane. How is that possible?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, that that that's insane. That's a that's a crazy stat. Um, what else you got? Uh the Drake May, man.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:He's gonna be the best. Drake, I mean, because Jaden Daniels get bad injury, you know, Caleb Williams in consistency, but he's been playing better. You gotta get you know, I think that's the coach there. Yeah. But Drake May has been the best.
SPEAKER_01:The best quarterback in that draft. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03:Which which is still, if you look at last year's draft compared to two years ago, is not even still all the players are still better than last year's guys. Yeah. But man.
SPEAKER_01:I'd still take Cam Ward over J.J. McCarthy.
SPEAKER_03:That's true. Yeah, he got he came back and he had his Jay he had his classic Michigan stat line, 140 yards. Well, that Flores defense got after the Lions, man. Yeah, they got after the Lions and they beat the Lions at in Detroit. That was a that was a surprise. The Seahawks are a dangerous team on the road.
SPEAKER_00:Seahawks and Rams.
SPEAKER_03:That that that whole you know cross-country thing, that doesn't apply to them. Well, not at night, man. No, it doesn't apply to them. They beat the Jags. They've they their record on the road under McD under this coach is incredible. Yeah. And and the Seahawks are looking really dangerous because their defense is legit. Yep. And they have a running game and their quarterbacks, they have a wide re they have shoot, a top Smith and Jigba is is serious.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, he's he's uh he's in a league of his own. Like he's he's balling right there. That's gonna be a big one. Ram Seahawks. So who's your MVP right now, Justin?
SPEAKER_01:Oh god, MVP.
SPEAKER_03:Because I every week I say it's somebody else. Last week it was Jonathan Taylor, but then he lost it this week. Yeah. Which I knew was gonna happen. Right. I mean, you can't have he was on pace to do things that never happened before. So Steelers showed up.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I mean, really, I mean, just look, I I almost have to say maybe Matt Stafford.
SPEAKER_03:Ah, I was that was my guy. You look at his line, look at his numbers, too.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, he's he's putting up some numbers and they just win, win, win, dude. And they and they beat people down, dude. Like they're not struggling.
SPEAKER_03:Nope. I was gonna say the same thing. He's he's playing really good ball with that defense, and they're and they're they're just they got Devontae Adams now and Puka and a two. Yeah, if he stays healthy, if they yeah, but health is there for the Rams. Yeah because it's if they lose him, it's over. Because that throw, that throw he made to Puka on the sideline, and then he, I mean, it's perfect, perfectly covered. Yeah, he does one every week. And then a great diving catch. It's like you get there's no defense for that. There's no defense for that. When Matt Stafford's on and he's throwing it like he is, you can't guard it.
SPEAKER_00:We'll see, man. They gotta go to Santa Clara next week.
SPEAKER_03:No, it's gonna, yeah, that's gonna be their bugaboo.
SPEAKER_00:Um Niners lost another defensive lineman for the season or the eights Chiefs.
SPEAKER_01:It doesn't seem to matter with San Francisco, dude. Who's playing? Right, right.
SPEAKER_00:Eventually, though, it's gotta catch up to him.
SPEAKER_01:You know, I think so. A player dies every week. Mac Jones.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, yeah. Well, they used to gotta be a good thing. They have a good culture there. They have a good culture there. They don't have like they don't really ever have the stars, they always get hurt. Or, you know, once they pay them, they do something, but the just the way they get the under the radar guys to play together.
SPEAKER_00:It's the scouting department. Yeah, it's not John Lynch. He's an idiot.
SPEAKER_03:Well, the Jags, they had a big win in Vegas in overtime. There's an NFL record Cam Little 68-yard field goal. Yeah. We knew it would come. This shit's getting ridiculous. Yeah. This shit like and that's when it's gonna happen, too, halftime. Run the halftime, he gets it to the 50. And that was all now, dude.
SPEAKER_01:If I'm the Jags now, I'm I'm all all I got all I'm looking at is midfield. Get to midfield.
SPEAKER_03:Yep, they lose Travis Hunter, then no problem. I still I still I still think Trevor Lawrence is not him. And like that, there's some of the looks I see Liam Cohen is just like motherfucker.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03:I kind of I'm starting to like his like not able to keep it in. Like he's a he's got a little bit of an anger streak. Right. And I don't know if he's gonna be able to put up with this crap because he Trevor Lawrence doesn't see it. He's late on throws, but they they he's not terrible. He's not, yeah, he's not terrible, but he's making$55 million.
SPEAKER_00:Right, so he's gonna be there for at least a couple years.
SPEAKER_03:So the but that win, though, with that with that win and the Chiefs lost, the Chiefs now would not make would not be in the playoffs, which is crazy to think. We don't think that's yeah, but that's not gonna last. No, but they're but that division, though, it Chiefs are gonna have to do it through the wild card.
SPEAKER_01:Oh yeah, no, they're gonna have to go on the road the whole playoffs.
SPEAKER_03:The Broncos are seven and two now. The Chargers are six and three, and they're now in third place in the AFC West. Um, you have the Colts seven and two, Steelers five and three. Oh, that was a big win for the Steelers because the Ravens look like they're getting back on track. They're they're still the favorites to win that division at three and five.
SPEAKER_01:That's so crazy to me.
SPEAKER_03:Well, it's because nobody else, I mean, look at the Bengals. Right. Bengals Browns. That defense right there. Ugh. Yeah, so it's it's gonna be crazy in the AFC. And the NFC. You have uh the Eagles still, they had a bye. Um in the NFC North now. Every team has every team has two losses in the NFC. Uh you know, and the Packers have that tie. The Bucks, you know, they've come back. Big win for the Panthers. You know, they will they be able to catch the Bucks? I kind of think.
SPEAKER_01:The Eagles are about to get even better, too. I don't know if y'all saw, but this morning, Dolphins traded Jaden Jalen Phillips over over to the Eagles. So yeah, another monster on the defensive line.
SPEAKER_03:That's a huge, huge gift for the Eagles. You feel like they're it's still their their conference. Like they're they're especially if they get the one seed now, which they're lined up to get. With the Packers losing. So right now, the Eagles control their destiny. Well, the Seahawks are six and two, too. So you got and the NFC West is and out out west, you have the two. You have NFC West and AFC West. It's gonna come down to it because the Seahawks and Rams are both six and two, and the Niners are six and three. It's gonna be fun to watch down the end. Yeah. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01:You know when our UK's supposed to come back?
SPEAKER_00:What?
SPEAKER_01:You know when our Uke's coming back?
SPEAKER_00:Oh, he he's done, he's not coming back this year. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, he's not coming back this year. I thought he was gonna come back towards the end of the season.
SPEAKER_00:No, I I I think they're keeping him out though. I mean, I I can't even keep keep track of the injuries, man. It it's ridiculous. I know Purdy might come back this week.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:I mean, it's crazy to think that the the Pats could get the one seed still, though.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I thought I was I thought I was outrageous when I predicted the Pats to make the playoffs as a wild card.
SPEAKER_03:Yep, you got it, man. Oh, what's that? We gotta get on out of time. All right, sir, but before we go. Hoops! Yeah, hoops, there it is. Oops. What do you think about Miami hoops this year, Justin?
SPEAKER_01:I have paid zero attention to the hurricane basketball program. Got a new coach. I know that he started out pretty good.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. We'll catch you up on the he's losing the title of basketball contributor slowly but surely.
SPEAKER_00:I know they just uh they just landed a five-star kid.
SPEAKER_03:Well, I was gonna say, they have I like the coach they got. Yeah, they're gonna recruit their ass off. And and Miami and Florida State's been recruiting their ass off. It could be I like both hires. We could see, and then Florida, what they're doing. Maybe you see basketball return to the age footer on their team, dude. That shit's not fair. Yeah, we can play them.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, he's cute.
SPEAKER_03:I've seen him, I've seen him, I've been watching him a couple years because you you notice him when you see him. Right. And then warm-ups, he's just like leaning.
SPEAKER_00:Nah, man, that guy's cleaning on the roof. Right, that dude's got to play on a different goal. Screw that, dude. Like, raise that shit to 13 feet.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, well, Florida's looking really there, number three. Uh, basketball, I think it's gonna. I'd like to see. Um, I'm looking forward to it. Looking forward to it.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, no, I'm interested to see the how the uh guy at Miami does. Well, I I I really like the higher too, and I'm not that far along.
SPEAKER_03:In basketball, you can turn it around like that because it's less players. I mean, Florida State has pretty much a whole new roster, and Luke Lauch has the number one recruiting class right now. So he's you can turn it around in real fast, and you just need like one thing because it's almost like a semi-pro league. It's another step to try to get these kids to their ultimate dream. And I mean, what's gonna happen with the European players? Are you you know, with now that you can pay players, there's gonna be less players going to the game. So you can get kids from the G League now.
SPEAKER_00:Like Louisville fucked. Yeah. You can turn it around instantly. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:Which I think is good for basketball.
SPEAKER_00:As long as they're coming here.
SPEAKER_03:Right. So, I mean, we got a Monday nighter tonight. Uh, Cowboys, Cardinals, game that has no meaning whatsoever.
SPEAKER_00:I'm not watching that shit.
SPEAKER_03:Dodgers won the World Series, man. What a World Series it was. Down four to two in the eighth. Homers in the eighth, the ninth, and then the 11th to win it for back to back series. We go out to watch the football. We'll watch the basketball, and we got picks this week. So we'll talk to you next time, right here on the North Florida Sports Network.
SPEAKER_04:You understand that?
SPEAKER_02:You gotta give us a shot. You know what?
