They're playing they're playing omit. What do we got for that? Three and a half? I tell you what. I know Mike, I know Justin, you're gonna be picking Miami. I'm gonna take the point and omit. Three and a half. Mike, dude. I I can't blame you on the hook. Mike, you with me on that?
SPEAKER_05:I I didn't know. I I thought the last time we picked, we just picked straight up for calling. We can do straight up. I wasn't prepared. I wasn't prepared for that. Alright. But uh I'm gonna kick uh I I'm gonna kick Miami this round. Yeah um and uh I think straight up. I you know I don't know about the points as well as you guys do, but I think I would take the points as well.
SPEAKER_01:It's playoff time, so we can do just picks, but I'm gonna throw out the spread, you know, because and what else is there? Spread money.
SPEAKER_07:Uh no, I I I actually see it being a three-point game. I honestly I I I do think that hook would change my bet if I was making the bet without my green and orange glasses on.
SPEAKER_01:Right. I think we were off on the impact Lane Kiffin had like on just the game. Maybe the program long term, but if anything, I think it's fired up his the his team to prove that they're more than just the coach.
SPEAKER_07:Oh, it absolutely did.
SPEAKER_01:They gotta be rallying around that. So I'm that's what I'm you know, kind of hoping for.
SPEAKER_07:Here's what I here's how I see here's how I see the game going down. And I I know I've been saying for like a week Miami in a blowout, but I got into the weeds on this a little bit because I I still can't trust Crystal.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_07:I mean he's proved me wrong, but I got into the weeds, and I uh you know I'm being a little paranoid, and this is this is where this is my breakdown of the game. Is um we all know at this point Miami's defensive line and their defense overall is what carries this team. Yeah. What old Myth does well is Chandless gets the ball out fast, and they've got a left tackle that hasn't given up a sack all season. Not one sack.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_07:So what Ole Myth does well on offense can at least mitigate what Miami does well on defense. Yeah. I think this is gonna be a game that Carson Beck's gonna have to step up and not be a game manager. I don't think I don't think I don't think Beck needs to go for like 304 touchdowns. Like he doesn't need to do anything crazy, but he's gonna have to do more than his like 180 yards, you know, with 18 completions. Like we can't just dink and dunk because Olmus is gonna score. Shambliss is gonna scramble, make a couple of plays. Um, I I think we're in for a classic tonight. And and I I do think I think Miami wins in a nail biter, and oh my god, I'm already biting my nails as we speak.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, there you go. There's your there's your Miami perspective and uh big game. But we are here for the NFL. Uh the results are in uh the season.
SPEAKER_05:We you might be here for the NFL, but I'm just here.
SPEAKER_01:I know, I know. Uh the results from last week, Jimmy nine and seven, myself and Mike eight and eight, Justin seven and nine, and then overall on the season, the final standings are myself 145 and 125. Mike finishes in second and 130 and 140. Jimmy 128, 142, and Justin 120 and 150. There you go. Well done. Well done, man. My first one. My first one, but it's just we're gonna do the playoffs, man. It's gonna be this is the fun round. You got uh wild card starting on Saturday. It's in Carolina. We have a rematch of the Rams and the Panthers. We're gonna do spread because this game, everybody would probably pick the Rams. Uh the Panthers are getting ten and a half at home. Justin, who you got?
SPEAKER_07:Oh my god. You know what? If the spread wasn't ten and a half, I would probably take the Rams to win by double digits. But because that spread is so big, it just I I I can't bet. I can't do it. I can't do it, dude. I I think the Rams are gonna win. I don't think Stafford throws like five picks like he did in the regular season matchup. Yeah. Um I think the Rams win, but with ten and a half in a playoff game at home, you gotta take the home dog.
SPEAKER_01:They just beat him. I mean again. I know, I know. I'm just saying though, like ten and a half points, they might come close. Uh I don't know. I'm going Rams, though. Mike.
SPEAKER_05:Uh man, uh, gosh, that's crazy. 10 and a half points in a playoff game. Uh Carolina kind of backdoored their way in there, though, right? Yeah, they did. Uh I don't know. Are they playing on House Money or what? Like uh Well the Hick and Panthers. I'm I'm I think I'm gonna go with the uh season leader here over the fourth place finisher. Oh yeah. Oh, oh that was uncalled for. Uncalled for. I also wanted to say Justin used to kill it at this game uh before we did the uh before we did the spreads, Justin always won. We had to do the spreads because of him. And uh and he also he also had a pretty good turnaround kind of towards the end of the year. He was fading fast and he and he he uh came on stronger at the end. So um but uh yeah, I think in this one, you know, I don't really know. Ten and a half seems like way too much, but I think I'll go with the guy who was over 500 in this year.
SPEAKER_01:Let's let's go to uh the Saturday night game, another rematch. This one is Green Bay, Chicago. This one's gonna be like a pick'em, but the Bears are getting a point at home. They just don't believe in them. I do. I drove the bus all year. Give me the bears. I know uh Justin, you're still gonna let's hear it.
SPEAKER_07:There's a reason why people don't believe in the in the bears. Caleb Williams sucks. He's getting exposed.
SPEAKER_01:Exposed, finally! All right, give me the Packers, go Paco. All right. They haven't won a game since they played the Bears in any game. All right, so uh, oh, this is the game, man. I've been this is be the most the game I'm looking forward to the most game. Let me let me let me take that one. Sorry, Mike. Go ahead, buddy. I'm my bad.
SPEAKER_05:I'm gonna go with the Bears as well. I'm one of those non-believers, but they've kind of I guess forced me to believe with all these losses I've taken on them so far. So I'll go with the Bears.
SPEAKER_01:Right. Um, that's gonna be a fun game. Uh that this one's gonna be the one I'm most looking forward to. Uh we got the Bills, we got the Jags, my Jags. Hot, one of the hottest teams in the in the league. I think if you look at in the AFC, I'm who's better than them right now? I mean, they beat in the best teams. They just don't have the sexy name because they're the Jacksonville Jaguars, but I'm taking them big over the Bills. How about that? No tables. No tables for me. Uh Justin? What's the friend? One.
SPEAKER_05:No, this is basically a pick'em.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it's yeah, my bad. I should have said that, but yeah, this is like a pick'em. Uh the the Bills are getting the Jags are actually getting a point at home. How about that?
SPEAKER_07:Yeah, no, they you're right. The Jags are are scalding hot right now, dude. And they they look like they might be the best team in the AFC. But nobody! Yep, and I mean nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills. Give me the tables!
SPEAKER_01:It's like Josh Wagons at J. Gimme the Bills. Yep, he's like a literal wagon himself. I'm circling them all by myself, dude. It's a bitch. Alright, Mike. Mike, who you got?
SPEAKER_05:I am going. I don't know why. I I just don't believe in the Jaguars. I think I always pick the bills. Alright. So uh I think I'm gonna stick with the builds here.
SPEAKER_01:Alright. Uh let's go to the uh Sunday afternoon game. Um second of three on Sunday. You got the Niners. You got the Eagles, the Niners, it's all the way up to five now. Yeah. Um Justin, who you got? Oh, it's Eagles by five? No, no, no. Niners are getting five.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, Eagles are five.
SPEAKER_07:Yeah, it's a pretty big spread. I mean, the Eagles have looked like ass, but Damn, if the Niners didn't get exposed uh offensively last week by the Seahawks, man. Yeah and the Eagles can replicate that with that defense. I think I'm gonna go I think I'm gonna go with the Eagles.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, me too. I think that was it. I think they just wrote The Eagles have a good defense. There's just no weapon. I mean, on the road, I mean, when Shanahan is down seven points at halftime, he's only won one time. That's incredible for being like such a good coach. In the fourth quarter, in the fourth quarter, yeah, I know, right? In the fourth quarter, he's been run down. He's been down a touchdown in the fourth quarter, he's never won. He's never come back and won. So it's like there's no adjustments there. He's got a great script, he's a great game planner, but I can see the frustration that some people have with him, including Jimmy, who's not here. But uh we know that he's gonna go Eagles on this. Uh Mike, who you got?
SPEAKER_05:I I'm gonna take the 49ers. You guys all make great points. I'm gonna go 49ers. Hey, can you did Jim already make his picks? Yep, I got yes here now?
SPEAKER_01:Yes, uh, he had made his picks. I can give you those for the games I already. Uh he's gonna go with the Rams to cover the Bears, the Jags, and the Eagles. So let's go to the and uh he's got for the next game. Uh it's gonna be the Chargers and the Patriots. This is a good matchup. Yeah, Patriots, Chargers, the Chargers are getting three and a half in New England. Justin.
SPEAKER_07:My other favorite team out of the AFC. Yeah. West Coast, East Coast, Foxboro in January. Drake May, give me the pat.
SPEAKER_01:Wow. Alright, you know what? This this is my upset special right here. I like I like the Chargers in this. I think they arrested the guys, they have the experience edge. I think it's gonna be a good game, but I'm gonna take the three and a half because I think that's easy money right there. I think there's no way this game's not decided by a field goal. Either way. But I'm gonna go with the Chargers here to win. I would put a plus one seventy on that. Mike, who you got?
SPEAKER_05:Um I got the uh I'll go with uh Chargers to cover a Patriots to win. Alright. So I'll go with the Chargers first.
SPEAKER_01:Yep. The hook, man. That's a the hook's a big one on that on that game.
SPEAKER_05:All right, the I hope the Patriots win, though. I can't believe that as Dolphins fans, we're now Patriots fans just because we see like I don't want the Patriots to win at all.
SPEAKER_01:I don't know. No Justin, you with me, right? No, I'm going through the Chargers all day.
SPEAKER_07:What's happened to me as a Dolphins fan is I saw the Bills draft Josh Allen, who is awesome and fun as hell to watch. I watched the Patriots draft Drake May, who was awesome and fun as hell to watch. It's kind of hard to hate those two teams. I mean, like it's not Tom Brady. You're right. You know, not cheaters. I'm with you.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, yeah. Tom Brady's a cheater. I mean, he is. He's a winner, but he's a cheater.
SPEAKER_07:Him and Giselle both, am I right? Oh boy.
SPEAKER_01:All right, we got a Monday night game. And it's uh the Steelers. They're gonna be hosting the Texans. This is a good game. Aaron Rodgers, man, he just wheeled his team in and the missed kick by the Ravens, but they have nobody to throw to. Well, they're getting DK back, which is huge. I'm gonna take the Steelers. I just it's gonna be an upset. I just think they're gonna muck it up. Um, they're gonna let, you know, and they're gonna they've got Aaron Rodgers. I'm gonna take him. And when he gets DK Metcalf back, I think that's gonna open up the offense. Big time. It's not that funny. Mike.
SPEAKER_05:Were they gonna go from scoring 12 points to scoring 16 points? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Um I know. I I just feel I'm just feeling yeah, I know, right. I just I'm feeling upset here. I'm feeling upset. Steelers feeling it.
SPEAKER_05:Who are they playing? I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:Texans they're playing the Texans, who are red hot. I mean three. The Texans are getting three. So the Steelers, it was three and a half. So money's coming in for Pittsburgh, it's down to three.
SPEAKER_05:All right, I'll I'll be with you on Pittsburgh to cover, but I don't think they're gonna win. You know, the Houston offense isn't that great. So, like you said, it's gonna be in the muff, probably, right?
SPEAKER_01:Right. They do they're not good. All right, um 17 to 16. Yeah, Justin.
SPEAKER_07:Yeah, no, this is a for all the reasons you you said, dude, this is this is actually kind of a tough pick for me. Right. Um, because then there's this one of those weird, stupid stats that doesn't actually affect the teams on the field is the Steelers have never lost a Monday night game at home. Right. Ever.
SPEAKER_01:That is a nut. That is so crazy. If that in in it and I straight up, if that this game was on Saturday, I wouldn't have picked them. The fact that it's at Monday night in that stat you said, yep.
SPEAKER_07:Yeah, I I and I think I think I'm with you. I mean, like the Texans seem like the way better team on every measurable level.
SPEAKER_01:Right.
SPEAKER_07:But that stupid, weird, undefeated since like 1978 on Monday nights or something. There's there's there's something to that shit. So I I gotta take the Steelers too. I don't want to, but I got to.
SPEAKER_01:All right. Well, there it is. All right, and Jimmy is going with he is going to pick the Pats, and then he's going with the Texans. He does not agree. He likes D'Amico. All right. He really is a fan of D'Amico Ryan. Oh, but I forgot to mention that um uh Mike McDaniel.
