We Break Down CFP Rankings Shifts, Coach Firings, Betting Angles, And Why X Is Broken
A six-and-two heater while we were off set the tone: momentum, superstition, and a leaderboard that might be decided by a San Francisco win total. We open with the contest math and then barrel into college basketball’s early reality checks—Kentucky wobbling, Purdue covering, and Tom Izzo’s group looking like a problem. Louisville over IU, Michigan State’s home edge, Illinois catching points at Tennessee, and an Arizona team crushing numbers all land on the betting radar, with clear reasons rooted in tempo, defense, and coaching adjustments.
Then the temperature drops. Stay Frosty targets Penn State AD Pat Kraft for a mid-season firing without a fast, airtight hiring plan ahead of signing day. The fallout—recruits bolting, rival momentum, and a torpedoed class—turns into a larger lesson about how athletic departments should handle timelines, staff continuity, and recruiting bridges. The carousel keeps spinning: Lane Kiffin to LSU, with a frank take on playoff math and big-program patience in a world of limited at-large bids.
We rewind the biggest results and the biggest myths. Ohio State methodically solved its Michigan problem. Texas A&M and Texas catch a reality check on soft résumés. The NFL swings from Cowboys whiplash to an AFC North mudfight to Kansas City’s identity crisis—fatigue, complacency, or just roster entropy around Mahomes. The prescription is familiar: keep the elite core, refresh the edges, and find hungry pieces who change the team’s urgency.
CFP chaos looms if a few underdogs bite, and we map the spicy routes versus the boring chalk. On the betting sheet, we focus on actionable edges: Michigan State’s home advantage, Arizona’s depth against the number, underdog value where the pass rush travels, and a conviction play that jumps off the screen—Bears +6.5 at Green Bay. When a spread feels wrong against form and matchup, we don’t overthink it.

Hey everybody, today is Friday, December 5th, and we are back from our little Thanksgiving break, the Sportsbook Sharps. We are back and ready to roll. Let's go. We had a heck of a week. Of course, the week I take off, I don't do the podcast, I don't really gamble much. Um, at least for as far as our locks are concerned, I don't make the little uh AI lock things to put out on social media. Like nobody, except the eight of us know what our locks are this week, and of course, we go six and two. So I will make sure to continue to share this information. I should have just grabbed the quickly the spreadsheet and put it out there for everybody. But of course, the week I don't post anything, don't share anything. We go six and two. Every other week I post anything, we go two and six or three and five. Finally, a good week. Maybe I'm the bad luck. Maybe me betting all these things and talking about them or whatever is the bad luck. I don't know, but unbelievable six and two. Uh, Uncle John and I both win. So we are still tied for the lead at nine and four. Three games ahead of Uncle Mike and Matt with only five weeks left to go. I really, really need the 49ers to win two more games, so I have at least the tiebreaker. That's my season-long tiebreaker, San Francisco over 10.5, because Uncle John's already hit his tiebreaker. But I don't know, unless one of us miss, or both of us miss, I don't think I can win a tiebreaker because the second tiebreaker, so if I do get the San Francisco one, the second one is the last miss, which uh last loss that you had. So then last loss I had was four weeks ago. Uncle John's was only three weeks ago. So he would technically have that tiebreaker with me. So I don't know. We're also December 5th on the day between birthdays here. So let me give a shout out to Uncle Mike. It was his birthday yesterday, and Uncle John's birthday tomorrow. So happy belated birthday, Uncle Mike, and happy early birthday wish, Uncle John. Um little bit of a college basketball update for you. I don't know if UK is gonna stay ranked this season. They are picked up their third loss. Now it was to UNC, but we are barely started in uh some of the uh conferences have started conference play. Big Ten started some this week. They'll then take the next like two weeks off. But some of the conference plays already started, and UK is already up uh to three losses on the season. So uh for somebody that was like a top 10, top five, even I think that is not a great start. Uh, Purdue still 8-0. They defeat Rutgers. Uh, not a great Rutgers team this year, but they took care of business with them. They covered the spread, still number one, still undefeated. They've struggled recently. That's all the Big Ten network wanted to talk about that before the game and during the first like five minutes of the game. Oh, the last two times Purdue played them and they were number one. Rutgers upset them. Oh, here's the Ron Harper shot. Oh, here's this, here's that. I'm like, okay, I get it. I get it. Twice. They've only upset the number one team twice, and it was both times was Purdue in the last five years. Yeah, I okay, I get it. Like, we don't need to replay it over and over and over again. I remember it well. Thank you. Um, but took care of them. 13 and a half point spread, covered it. Uh, all good there. Um, Michigan State. I'm worried. I'm a little worried uh about them being a problem. As a Purdue fan, a little worried. They look like an absolute wagon. They took care of a pretty good Iowa team. Uh beat them by 19. Now it was at home. Uh, so and then Rocky Top. SEC a little struggling with this ACC SEC challenge. They're kind of getting run out of the building in this ACC SEC challenge. Uh, Duke beat Florida, Syracuse beat Tennessee, UNC beat UK, UConn beat Kansas. Oh, well, they that's art. That's not it. Sorry, I was on the wrong page there. Uh, but I they are losing they lost that that challenge big time. So um, not looking too good. Indiana University picks up their first loss up at the barn. Minnesota gets the win to go to five and four, and Indiana. I think they were eight and a half point favorites or something. I don't what was the let me look at this real quick. Eight and a half point favorites on the nose there. Eight and a half point favorites go on to lose by nine up at the barn. Ouch. Uh Indiana's first loss of the year. They it was just it was nice. I like to hate watch Indiana basketball or at least hate score watch. I don't always watch all their games, but I sometimes will watch the score, the game tracker, or whatever, on my phone. And it's always nice when Indiana's in the top 25 because usually my filter on my phone is set to top 25. So they just got in to the top 25 finally, and then they get their first loss. So I'm sure they're gonna bounce out of the top 25. Um, they got a big game this Saturday. They're playing at a neutral court, a Louisville. Uh Louisville five and a half point favorites. I think you need a hammer Louisville there. I love Louisville to cover. Uh it's in indie, neutral court. I'm using air quotes here, you can't see it. Uh, but yeah, uh, it's in indie, so I don't know how neutral that is. Uh, not exactly a neutral location. There'll be a lot of IU fans there, but I think they pick up another L there. Um, but yeah, that's really it. Uh, not a lot to get into. Like I said, the conference play for some is just starting. Uh, there's not much going on uh this weekend. Uh a couple of big games. Uh Purdue's in a big game again. Iowa State, number 10, and Purdue. We'll we'll kind of do a cap here. We've got some big games this weekend, and I'll give you my thoughts on it. Um, Purdue struggled this year to cover the spread, but it I like them to cover the five and a half here against Iowa State. Umber four, Duke. I don't know. I think this is a neutral court game. It says it's at oh, it is an East Lansing. Oh my Duke is going on the road at Michigan State. Wow. I'm surprised they traveled and that wasn't a neutral sight game. Um point underdog, Michigan State at home. I like I just said I I've watched them Michigan State this year. They they look ready. Last year, if you remember, Izzo, I think they started off with two losses in a row, non-conference losses, against not great teams. Um, maybe that was two years ago. I think that was last year, and I was starting to question. I think I even maybe put him up on Stay Frosty that it was almost time for Izzo to go. Uh, he looks like he's totally turned it around this year. They look very sharp. They're in the top ten, they're number seven. It's at home. They don't lose often at home, Michigan State, in the Tom Izzo era. I like Michigan State there. Uh, take Michigan State, just take the money line. You don't need to take mess around with the plus one. Like I said, I already like Louisville minus five and a half. Um, and then we got a big one here, Illinois number 14 at Tennessee. Now, Tennessee's just lost a couple here. Um, look, I gotta root against Tennessee any chance I get. I can't stand the Volunteers, I can't stand their fan base. Go the dogs for the podcast. They want to let you know that they're sitting here with me tonight recording. Uh, I'm gonna take Illinois there plus two and a half just out of spite for Tennessee. Um, and then Auburn, number 20, at number two, Arizona. Arizona seven and a half point favorite. Arizona's look good this year. I'd love to see what they're covering on their spreads because I feel like every time I've seen a score, it is so lopsided. Now I don't know what the spread, but yeah, here we won by uh 27, 1x30, 1x40, 1x30. I mean, they're just beating up on the bad teams. Now, these are some of the scores I was reading were from Utah Tech and Denver, which I didn't even know Denver was a university, uh, Norfolk State, like some of these schools, not the best schools, but they're handling it, you know, and that's what you when you get to play those schools, a lot of times it's 30 or so points spreads, and they're taking care of business. They've look great. I like Arizona there a lot, uh, minus seven and a half. And then Sunday, not much going on on Sunday, no matchups, uh, ranked matchups there. So, anyway, we got a lot of time to talk about college basketball. College football season has wound down, and uh we are just a few weeks away from everything in college being done. We're actually 75% done with the regular season for the NFL. I know it's very sad. Uh, all the football is wrapping up for the year, so we'll start to flip this podcast over into college basketball mode then. We'll get a little more in-depth, a little more detail on some of these things, but uh that's gonna do it for college basketball recap and looking at some of the games that I like for you this weekend. I'm gonna get into my Stay Frosty here. We gotta put every week somebody's gotta be up on the hot seat. And uh, I don't really like a head coach for one this week, but this is the frostiest of frosties right now. I think it's definitely Penn State Athletic Director Pat Kraft. I don't understand how he still has a job. He fired James Franklin almost two months ago. It was like October 12th or 10th or something like that. We're almost two months out from firing their head coach after the head coach had a three-game losing streak, which at the time look, it's something had to change. Uh Franklin wasn't winning the big games. Um three in a row to some bad teams, some teams that would have fired their coach, it was starting to look a little embarrassing at Penn State. So I I didn't disagree with the move. However, if you're going to make that move, you have to have like a list or at least uh top three candidates that you're gonna pursue heavily and quickly to replace that person in the middle of the year. You've got to have this lined up because signing day was three days ago, national signing day, three days ago, December 2nd. You have to have somebody installed before December 2nd, and here we sit, December 5th, they still have no coach, no head coach, and everyone is turning them down. Other schools that have already fired their coach and already hired a coach, here's a running list of them. LSU, Ole Miss, UCLA. Well, some of them haven't fired, some of the coaches left. Like Ole Miss, LSU took their coach, so then, but they've already named a successor. Uh, because it, like I said, it is national signing week. You have to have a head coach and some staff in place to lock these kids in uh because it's not a long window here. So I'm sorry. LSU, Ole Miss, UCLA, Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, Oregon State, UAB, University of Kentucky, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Colorado State, and Virginia Tech have all replaced their coaches this year already, this football season. And that last one, Virginia Tech, that's an especially bad look for Penn State because they hired, if you remember a few weeks ago I talked about this, they hired the fired Penn State coach, James Franklin, and he has taken dozens and dozens of Penn State recruits away from Penn State to Virginia Tech. Penn State right now is sitting dead last in the Big Ten in recruiting recruiting commitments. They only have six new players committed for next year. Six. And overall, they are ranked 136th in recruiting. Yes, you heard that correctly. One of the biggest names in football, Penn State, is 136th in recruiting behind an FCS school. There's an FCS school that's listed in front of them. And that's just the new people coming in. There is a slew of current players that are there right now that have already announced in the last two months since they fired Franklin that they're going to open up and go into the transfer portal, that they're going to transfer out, or they intend to enter the transfer portal. Now, some of them may end up staying. If they get a head coach and the head coach sits them down and talks to them, they may not move around, but they're going to enter the transfer portal once that transfer portal is over. And if they don't, if Penn State doesn't have a coach by then, it's it's big time over. Uh Penn State might end up going door to door at France this summer, trying to recruit some bros to play. I just uh and and the do all that, you know. I mentioned how Franklin took some of those recruits, the Nazis taking players. The dogs want their voices heard on this, too, on this stay for Rusty. Uh Franklin also landed, and he's only been there about a month or less, a top 25 recruiting class at Virginia Tech. Unreal how badly the uh athletic director Pat Kraft has fumbled this. It's literally his only job to do right now, and he can't do that. I honestly think if he wasn't a wealthy cookie heir, he would be out on the street. His job, though, like his parents' business, are about to crumble. Stay frosty, Pat Kraft. And like I mentioned, uh the college football season has come to a close, the regular season. We got the conference tournament, this conference championship games this weekend, and then the college football playoff in a few weeks. Um, there have been a few more firings. Tim Beck at Coastal Carolina, Justin Wilcox at Cal. Uh, neither too surprising. Cal's played in the ACC now uh for a couple seasons. Uh they'll probably need to reconfigure their whole program, this whole live being in California but playing everybody on the East Coast. Uh and then uh Coastal Carolina's had some really lopsided losses this year, so not too surprising. They went to a bowl game a year or two ago, uh, and it looked like they were kind of that program, the the group of five program that was kind of on the swing up, uh, but is just not materialized this year. Uh, so he's been let go. So yeah, we got uh no more uh NFL coaches, just the two so far. So all right, let's get into a little recap here. It's been we've been off a week. Uh college football, we've talked about this on the last podcast we did, but Lane watch, we were doing a little Lane Kiffin watch in Oxford there. Lane has left. Ole Miss Coach has left Oxford to become the next coach to be fired at LSU in four years. That's right. Uh those coaches, uh, I don't know if they'll make it there or not, but the uh expectation is playoffs and a national title in four years, or we're getting out of getting you out of here. Um I think that'll be the first time that Lane has ever taken a team to the playoffs. Do you see if the coach isn't there when the playoffs are selected, did he take them to the playoffs? That's like a it's like a Schrdinger's coach. He's both the coach and not the coach. Um, what's in the box? Is uh is Lane Kiffin the coach in the box, or is there is there no no coach in the box? I don't know. I don't know how that works. Um I mean he won all the games to get him there, so I guess you give him credit for it, but if he does he's not even gonna be on campus or anywhere near campus this Sunday when they announce it, he's already hit the recruiting trail for LSU and and trying to get recruits there and stuff, so I don't know. Uh he's never really made up a good bowl game. Uh yeah, I don't know. I I'm not saying he's a bad hire. I just think these major programs, all of them, this is not a lane problem, this is a major program problem. There's only 12 playoff spots, and four of those are guaranteed to the conference winner. One is the group of five. Apparently, one we got a cram Notre Dame in every year. So that's six of the 12 that are taken every year. So you are fighting, unless you win your conference, which, like I said, the LSU has that expectation. They expect to win or be in the conference championship game almost every year, which I think that might be a little high expectations for Louisiana. But uh I I think if anyway, um these programs need to wake up, they need to give coaches more than three years to make some progress. You're with only six open spots to vie for, plus your one from your conference, you're you're not unless you play in the SEC, which gets all the rankings and accolades and things like that, and you get, you know, they try to cram four or five SEC schools in every single year in this thing, and it looks like they'll continue to do that. Um, if you're playing outside the SEC, it's tough. It's gonna be very tough for you to make it as a secondary team. I don't know what happens if the ACC ever puts a conference together and can play football competently. Uh, right now they got seven and five Duke playing in their conference championship game, so uh not exactly inspiring confidence in that regard. Uh, Duke had to win a weird tiebreaker to get that, too, by the way. Um, which is sad that there were many teams at 7-5 that were in this tiebreaker scenario. But anyway, I digress. Uh yeah, so Lane's there now at LSU, and we'll see what they do. I don't know. Uh I do love, however, uh all the social media postings about uh Lane Kiffin and all of a sudden people have bad things to say about him. I always love when a coach leaves like that and they're not fired, but they leave. Then all of a sudden everybody and their brother has bad things to say about them. It's just unbelievable how that happens every time. So that's funny stuff. If you want to search some of that on social media, there's some funny ones. I don't know if any of it's true or not, but it made me laugh the other day. Uh recap of the OSU Michigan game, OSU 27, Michigan 9. Brian Day finally gets rid of Baba Yeah, his boogeyman. Uh I do think the entire state of Ohio was holding their breath for the entire first quarter as Michigan hit their first two field goals. They started the game up 6 0, but it was all OSU after that. They scored to take the lead early in the second quarter, and they never looked. Back. In fact, Michigan didn't even score in the second half. I honestly watched this game. The second half was very boring. Um, I don't know if Michigan crossed their own 40-yard line, not even midfield, but their own 40. Like they I'd have to go back and look at the game tracker or whatever on it. I they just they strung nothing together. They were like, oh, we can't throw, so we're gonna try to run, but we can't run. So here's we ran it three times. We got four yards. It's fourth and six. We punt. I mean, that was the entire second half. It was awful. Uh, it started to snow a little bit. Um, OSU and Ryan Day finally get that big win, though, against Michigan. He had one, I think his first season, he beat Michigan, but it had been since before COVID. COVID-19, you remember that? COVID-19? Uh, that was the last time. It was pre-COVID-19 uh that OSU won this game. So, hats off. OSU looking very good this year. Uh, I got another big game for you, recap here. Texas AM 17. They were number three in all the land, or number two, depending on what ranking you were looking at. Uh, 17 Texas 27. AM picks up its first loss of the year. Listen, I don't I I've said this before about the SEC and AM in particular. I don't think this AM team is very good. I they played a very soft SEC schedule. I know the SEC people are gonna yell at this, but I'm sorry. They got a pretty easy SEC schedule. And I know the SEC fans are saying there's no such thing as an easy SEC schedule. Even Mississippi State with their cowbell is great. Oh, what are you talking about? Uh yeah, they look at some of the teams they played. Like they just were not very good. Uh, they have no wins against the top 10 team. Uh when you're picking your college football playoff bracket or your games or whatever, you're betting on the games. Look to pick against Texas. They are soft, soft, soft, soft, soft. They are Charmin Squeezable soft. Uh, Texas is not very good this year. I've ranted and raved. They also didn't play that great of an SEC schedule. They have a bad loss at Florida. Florida is terrible. They fired their coach this year. Didn't go 500, didn't get into a bowl game. Uh they lost to that team, and they had many, many close games and a few overtime games against subpar teams. Texas not very good. I don't don't don't do not trust in Texas Aina. Alright, let's get into an NFL recap here. It's been a couple weeks, so we're just kind of gonna do broad strokes here, except for my cowboys. How about them cowboys? They did what they always do to me. Why do they do this to me? Why? Why? Why? Alright. This is a cowboys talk here, real quick. As a Cowboys fan, they played a game, I think it was four weeks, five weeks ago. They played Monday night football prime time. I was all set. They're playing the Arizona Cardinals. Arizona's not very good. Jacoby Brisket, backup quarterbacks in. No little Kyler Murray. He's out with uh Call of Duty Hands or whatever it is this week. Uh, so he's out with shortness. I don't know. Uh, so he's out. I'm thinking, okay, this is it. Cowboys, they start here. I was looking ahead at the schedule. They had some winnable games. They had Raiders coming up. This seemed winnable, whatever. Dog crap game. They got embarrassed by Arizona. Arizona beat him on both sides of the ball. The defense looked horrible again. Brissette didn't look good, but he looked good enough to beat the Cowboys. And so at that point in the season, this was five weeks ago, I was like, okay, I'm totally out. Like the Cowboys, like, you can't beat Arizona. You're not doing anything this year. Well, they did what they always did. They won three games in a row. And two of those three games, they beat the Eagles, and they beat Kansas City. And so it had me thinking on Thanksgiving Day, they beat Kansas City. I'm thinking, alright, how about them Cowboys? Get my hopes up. And then the Lions eviscerate them last night. Thursday night football. One week later, Lions beat them by 14. Defense non-existent again. I don't know what happened. The defense all of a sudden went from stopping Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City to a Lions team that is a good Lions team, but not a great Lions team, and not as good as the Lions team from last year. So I thought I had my hopes up all week. I was set on the couch, 8.15. The game was on. I was ready. Nope. They come out and punch him right in the mouth. Get ahead early. Stay ahead the whole game. CeeDee Lamb gets a concussion, gets out of the game. And that's not why they lost. They just look terrible. You can't give up 44 points and win many games in the NFL. Ask the Bengals. They would know about that. They have very little chance to make the playoffs now. I just I wish they hadn't beat the I don't know. I don't want to say I don't want them to beat the Eagles and I don't want them to beat Kansas City. I don't like those teams, especially the Eagles, obviously, the division team. But man, that got my hopes up so much. And then to just lose like this to the Lions, I just, I don't know. They have very little chance. They would need to almost win out and have the Eagles lose two games out of their last five. Not impossible. But not great odds either. So that's with the Cowboys winning out. So yeah, that pretty much ends the Cowboys season. Like my fantasy football team, the season ends well before the playoffs are announced. Um AFC North, what a mess. What an absolute slop fest. Steelers and Ravens keep losing. The Bengals, all of a sudden, on Thanksgiving night, Joe Burrow arose from the turkey. I don't know what all of a sudden he's back. They're only two games behind. This is going to be a wild division. The two teams tied for the lead are 6-6. I I the only thing for sure in that division is that the Browns are definitely out of it. They only have three losses. I mean, I guess they're not definitely out of it, but they look very bad. Um I don't see them coming back into the picture, but who knows? Right now we're sitting 75% done, and the best teams six and six. So I guess nothing's totally out of the realm of possibility there. Uh speaking of teams losing, the Colts have dropped two in a row, and now they are tied for the AFC South lead with the Jaguars. Um, I did a little peek ahead. I mentioned this a couple weeks ago. Keep your eye on these Colts because it could be like a Mirage 8-2, and sure enough, I think it might be a Mirage. Their schedule left. I don't know if they'll make the playoffs. They this week they have at Jags, then they're at Seattle, then they play the 49ers, then they play the Jags again, and then they play the team that just beat them at the Texans. Honestly, looking at that schedule, I mean, if you best case scenario, they split the Jags. I I don't even know if they can do that. I they may lose out. I don't think you can win at Seattle. I don't know. I've been wrong before, but I don't see them winning at Jacksonville this weekend. I don't see them winning at Seattle. That means they're rolling four losses in a row. The team's down in the dumpster. They go and play the 49ers at home. I don't think they beat them. Play the Jags at home. That's their best shot at getting a win. And then they end the season at the Texans. I Texans are the defense on the Texans right now is flying around all over the place. I do not want to play the Texans if I'm anybody right now. Um, yeah. I mean, the Colts, that's crazy. We won is that one, two, three, four, five games left. They may end eight and seven. Now wait, wait, what? No, I'm sorry. They have four losses. They may end eight and nine. I don't know. I I'm very worried. We'll see how they do at Jacksonville. So Jacksonville's not a great team. They've been very shaky this year, too. I've had them in a few locks, they've disappointed, they haven't covered. So it's not like uh it's a foregone thing. So maybe they'll turn it around, but boy, they are not looking sharp right now. And uh to wrap up the AFC, then the Chiefs are currently in 10th place, sitting out of the playoffs behind Houston and Pittsburgh. Now I know some family members listening to that just cheered in the background. I don't know, you probably hear it if you're listening to it at the same time that they are. Uh the Chiefs still have a shot if they turn it around and go on a run, but they seem broken this year. I'm not sure what's going on. If it's fatigue, they you know, they've played in seven straight AFC championship games, um, or they just like complacency, like they think they'll, you know, they bend to seven in a row and they'll just show up and um everybody will, you know, they'll they'll win, like, oh, we'll just show up and win. We don't need to, whatever. I don't know what it is that they can coast through or something like that. You see this sometimes, especially at the end of a dynasty, which I'm not saying this is the end of the dynasty, but it might be a look at it. You kind of see this uh where the team doesn't click anymore. Uh, maybe they need to get some new blood in that's hungry or something, uh, but they seem broken. And the and the Patriots kind of did this. Uh they kept Tom Brady, and uh that's what I'm saying. I'm not saying you like get rid of Mahomes or anything with new blood. I'm I'm talking about the everything around Mahomes, getting some new receiver core, rebuild your defense, rebuild your line, all that kind of stuff. Maybe you need to get new people in that haven't won a bunch of championships or haven't been to a bunch of Super Bowls um that that have that hunger in them, that fight in them. Because and then the Patriots kind of did this. They won those three uh three out of four in the early 2000s there, and then they had kind of a lull in the late 20 aughts, I guess they call it the aughts 2010s there, and then the early 2010s where they weren't winning Super Bowls, and then they kind of rebuilt and reconfigured, and you know, Tom Brady stayed consistent, the coach stayed consistent, um, but everything around them kind of changed. The players changed, everything else, all the other areas. So um, maybe it's that time. Maybe it's time that Andy Reid and Mahomes kind of reset, and over the next three or four years, they kind of rebuild that team. I mean, Kelsey's getting old. It's people have been talking about him retiring for years. Chris Jones can't be that young. I feel like he's been there forever on the defensive side. I I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. Um a good example of what I mean by them being broken is is if you go back to the Thursday Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys, in the fourth quarter, they're down late. They get the ball. This is classic Kansas City. You know, they go on a long drive, they at least get a field goal to whatever pull within one score. I think they were down seven at the time. Uh, you know, they always get some kind of points out of it. They may not get the touchdown, but they always, like Mahomes fourth quarter down, always, always, always makes a drive. At least makes the drive down the field. They go three and out and punt. You never see that. If they're down late, they always string it together. Uh I was watching it and I'm just like, all of a sudden, poof, the punter's out. And I'm like, wait, what? So, yeah. So I don't know. We'll see what the Chiefs do. Um, but that's that's an interesting watch. So, all right, and then some thoughts from the NFC. Uh, the Bears, if you're not aware, are the number one seed. That's weird. Uh, and it also means I may have been very wrong on my thoughts about Caleb Williams last year. Uh, I gave some I kind of shredded him on this podcast along with other people. Um, but maybe he was just a result of Matt Dweeberflus being the head coach there, and uh, now that he has a competent head coach, he's doing well. So uh but yeah, Bears one seed. What a stunning development. Uh, and not something that I had, boy, if you bet that before the season with the and then there's still five weeks ago, but uh if you told me that the Bears, if you looked at what Bears winning uh regular season NFC looked like, I would have told you the odds were too high you shouldn't even waste 10 bucks on it. But wow. Um the NFC West is unreal. Rams and Seahawks are both 9-3. San Francisco, who uh hasn't had their bye yet, nine and four. You might in the NFC this year, you might need 11 wins and the tiebreaker to get in a wild card spot. There's five games left. And there's two teams from the NFC West sitting with nine wins. And there's five games left. I mean, uh some of those games they play each other, so they're not gonna they can't win them all, but they could win three. I mean, they could be sitting there both of those teams at 12. That means the third wild card, all three of those teams, Rams, Seahawks, Sam Fran, they could all be 12 and 4, 12 and 5, and be in the playoffs, and then that means one other wild card, and then you're out of luck. Like, that's 12 and 5 is crazy. That's really good. So uh that's a very tough division this year. Uh, and then the NFC South, don't look now. But the Panthers, who started one and three, are now tied for the lead in the South with Tampa Bay at 7-5. Unbelievable turnaround. The Panthers, I've talked about it on here. They had that Meow Mix podcast that they they started one and three. The Meow Mix podcast guys said, you know, we've been doing this for fun for years. It's not fun anymore. This team stinks, we're gonna cancel the podcast. All of a sudden the Panthers go on a big winning streak there. Uh, and and it's unbelievable. Uh, started one and three, now seven and five. Uh, have gone six and two over the last eight games. Just an incredible turnaround. Uh, and good for them. Alright, that's it for the recaps. We're gonna get into uh an old man yells at cloud here, and then we've got the big games for the week, and then our gambling group locks, and then I'll give you my lock of the week at the end here. So let's get into the old man yelling at cloud here. X, formerly known as Twitter. Your algorithm is cooked. I'm gonna pull the phone out here in a minute to show you, but uh, I almost never get on there now. I used to, if you, you know, I you on I don't know, iPhones you probably can do this too, but Androids, you can kind of see like what apps you use the most, spend the most time on, whatever, open the most, use the most from your phone, all that kind of stuff. You can get analytics on it. X used to be, Twitter used to be one of the top apps on my phone. I was on it all the time. I got news from there, I got sports scores from there, sports information, trending topics, things like that. Everything used to be in X. I used to use it for this podcast. I used to, I'd heart tweets, I'd like them, heart them, interesting stats, interesting stories. You know, I I would see them on Twitter and I would save them in a you know a way, and like as I'm writing out my notes for the podcast for the next week, I go through those and I'm like, oh yeah, that's uh you know, the Panthers started one and three, and and now they're tied for the lead. That's crazy. The Malmix podcast, you know, all these things. Uh the first time that this has happened. You'll you'll hear me say it if you listen back to some of the old podcasts. It'll be, oh, this is the first time this has happened since blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah. Uh, but somehow now my entire timeline on there, my for you page or whatever is now weird AI posts. They're like, I don't know what happened. I don't know if I like glanced at things too long and the algorithm has totally cooked me. I don't know, but I need to reset. Uh there are like these weird posts about investing and buying homes and businesses and stuff like that. And I'm like, I don't first off, I have a home, it's a very nice home. I love it here. I I'm not in the market for a house. I I don't know, maybe my my brother and sister-in-law were looking for homes this summer, so maybe like my phone heard them talking about houses and then like whoop converted it into my ex app. I have no idea. Um, I am currently not looking for a house, um, nor have I been. Um I don't understand. Uh I engage with the sports post, I click on to them, I read people's top comments, you know, through the scrolling through them. I spend time looking at them, I hearted them. I don't understand why the sports stuff has been like pushed out of X. I don't know if like they weren't getting revenue from that. I see the occasional college football post, especially on like Tuesday nights, Wednesday mornings, lot of thoughts about the college football playoff ranking. I do see that. But then like it you it's like everybody gets on and talks about it for two days, and then it kind of just like disappears. Like I and then until a game is played on the weekend or something, then I don't see much. But then I don't even always see it there. I don't I don't get it. Uh so so just like let me just show you what I'm talking about here. Like, I obviously I do a sports podcast, I talk about gambling, I talk about gambling with my friends and family. Uh I I communicate about gambling. Like, I'm very much into sports and gambling, sports gambling, all that stuff, obviously. I'm the number one sports gambling podcast in Liberty Township, of course. But uh, I'm gonna open up the old X app, formerly Twitter here. I'm gonna tell you what my top stories are right now. So, okay, first uh tweet. The Netflix Warner deal that was announced last night. Okay, I don't care. News flash, I don't care. These these streaming apps, Netflix and HBO Max and all these things, they're gonna be bought and sold 10 times over because the streaming model doesn't work, okay? I don't care. I don't I don't care. Uh just tell me where I watch my games, alright? Like, okay, the Christmas Day game is on Netflix. Okay, is it still called Netflix? Do I still have it? That's all I need to know. I I don't care if they merge, I don't care if they crumble, I don't care if they go out of business. Like, just just make sure I know uh where I can watch my games, alright? I don't care. Uh alright, what's this next one here? Uh a tweet about the TV show house. Uh okay, that was from like two decades ago. Okay, very timely discussion. Um, ad. I do I will give them uh a shout out. Uh, unlike some other social media sites, Twitter, it's very clear if it's an ad. Well, I guess if they want you to know, ooh, this is a little. Well, now we're turning this into not only an old man but also a stay woke. Uh I guess it's an ad that they want you to know is an ad. Maybe there's more posts that are ads that aren't actually ads. I'm talking myself into a pretzel here. What I'm saying is in the uh on a Twitter ad, uh top right corner, it has a little word ad. So you know it's an ad. Uh, but maybe there's posts that are ads that aren't marked as ads, so I'm really seeing more ads than I think my brain is seeing. Anyway, I do like that I know right away that it's an ad. A lot of times I click the little three dots thing and block the entire thing because it's something I have zero interest in whatsoever, and I report it and say I don't ever want to see this again. Alright, so there we go. So uh okay, so I'm in the three tweets now, nothing good. Oh my, the next one's an ad. That's four tweets, nothing good. Uh someone complaining about Sean Hannity. Uh, I don't even know where he works anymore. Who cares? Who why are we in this? It's 2025. Why are we talking about Sean Hannity? I don't care. Alright. Um, oh, a Trump joke. Yep, that's very uh on par for X. Uh a Trump joke about FIFA's giving him a peace prize. Okay, interesting. Uh, I don't get the joke, but um wait a minute. The next one's a tweet from the official White House account about Trump winning the peace prizes. The same picture. Wait a minute. I assume I thought it was fake. Wait, when does FIFA give out peace prizes? Wait a minute, what? This is real? Okay, so I guess those are two posts in a row about politics. Uh, I didn't know that FIFA was in the business of giving out peace prizes, but uh uh okay, all right. I guess it wasn't fake. So scratch that note from the previous post. Uh it was a real picture of him getting the FIFA Peace Prize, the well-known FIFA Peace Prize. Um, oh, here's a very I guess because they're playing this weekend. Uh the Bengals Bills, but there's some guy lamenting about the Bengals beating the Bills in 2023. Okay, okay. Uh I don't know why this guy here. Oh, another ad. Alright, alright. Uh oh boy. Uh Netflix post about the state of the box office. Okay, yeah, okay. So my point is there's college basketball on tonight, there's two championship games, the Sun Belt, Fun Belt, and uh I don't remember the other one. There's another one tonight. Anyway, there's two conference championships tonight that have implications for the college football playoff. Um I gotta flip over to my app. What's what's the other one tonight? Give me one second. Oh my gosh. Who's the other the uh A C the American Athletic Conference? Is this American Championship? Is that the old A C? I didn't know Tulane and University in North Texas were in that, but okay. Anyway, so those two are tonight. There's a bunch of college basketball tonight. Nothing, no talks to that anywhere. And and it and it's late at night here. Like, I don't know. Just a garbage app, blow up the algorithm, fix it. Elon, fix it. I don't like it anymore. I hardly use it. Uh that's my old man Yelzikla. Alright, big games for the week. College football playoff uh has put themselves in a bit of a pickle here. Um if there are some upsets, we're in for a heck of a selection show on Sunday. That'll be Must C TV. Uh the most boring scenario would be this. If Texas Tech, Alabama, and Virginia win, that's boring. Because uh I uh the IU OSU game, as far as like teams getting in, teams getting out, whatever, immaterial. Both those teams are in. They're undefeated. They won't move much, even if it's a blowout win in one way or the other. If IU wins by a million, if OSU wins by a million, I don't think they move them that much. I think they'd probably still keep them in the top six, top five. Uh but if Texas Tech, Bama, and Virginia win, the at large bids would likely go to the loser of OSUIU, Georgia, Oregon, Ole Miss, Texas AM, Oklahoma, and then whatever they decide to do with Notre Dame and Miami. Uh, but we could get a little spicy with it. If BYU beats Texas Tech, then they'll likely steal. I think that's the only way BOIU gets in is if they beat Texas Tech. If they lose to him by three, they can't get in. I I think that's their only shot. They have to win it to get in, even though they're in the top 12. Um, there's just not enough seats for BYU. One loss, I know. Uh, but uh, but if BYU wins, they'll steal a bid from like Notre Dame, Miami. Uh, unless BYU wins and then Bama loses, then maybe they push Bama out. I don't know. Uh if JMU wins its game on Friday, but then Tulane loses its game, maybe JMU jumps up ahead of them because right now Tulane's ranked ahead of them, but if they lose and JMU wins, do they flip-flop those two uh for that group of five spot? If Duke beats Virginia, then we have a five-loss team in the playoffs. Seven and five Duke would be in the playoffs. Uh, Texas is still out there somewhere in Texas, beating its uh drum about getting in their big old drum there in Texas. Uh I don't know if there's a world where that happens. What kind of chaos would need to happen? I don't know. There's a lot left to decide uh for it being only a few of the teams playing, and it could get very spicy this weekend. So let's roll through the championship games here. Uh, I'm gonna skip the Friday night ones with all due respect to Tulane and JMU. I don't even remember who you're playing, so like nobody cares. Um we got number 11 BYU at number, I didn't write it down, Texas Tech. Number four? I think they're number four. Uh BYU, 12.5 point dog. Uh their only loss this year, BYU, was to Texas Tech, but they lost by like a billion. And I was on BYU then. You know what? They say fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you. That stands especially for UBYU. I am not backing the Mormons here. Uh I like Texas Tech minus 12.5. That game's at noon, so get on it early. Uh Georgia, number three against number nine Alabama for the SEC Championship. Georgia, two and a half point favorites, but I like their dogs, but I like the underdogs in this one. Bama plus two and a half is what I'm telling you to take here. Bama owns Georgia. Kirby Smart against all-time record against Alabama, one and seven. That's a little nice stat. I could have used to get, uh used to could get. What what? What is going on with my English tonight? Back when Twitter was Twitter, I would have seen that all over the place. And now I didn't see it anywhere. I saw it, I heard it somewhere, I don't know, on a pod another podcast or something this week, and it and I just stored it in my brain. Uh I don't think this is any different. I take forget the points. Bama, moneyline, they win this game. Uh, roll tide. Duke, unranked Duke, 7-5 Duke against number 17, University of Virginia. Virginia minus four. I this just speaks volume to the ACC and how bad it is. Uh that the unranked 7-5 team that needed a million tiebreakers to fall their way. If you have some time, look up how they both got those tiebreakers. It's incredible. There's like 14 steps that had to happen for Duke to do it, and it happened. Um, just a they're not very good. I think it'd be hilarious if Duke won. I don't think they will win. Uh, I like Virginia to cover the four here. I I don't think I don't think Duke's for real. Um and then the last game, uh, the eight o'clock game here. Well, I think the Duke Virginia game's at eight, but how many people you think is watching Duke Virginia when IU, undefeated IU, and undefeated OSU are playing in Lucas Oil Saturday night, eight o'clock. OSU, number one in all the land, Indiana number two. We finally get these two to match up this year. Four-point favorite, Ohio State. Uh, this is my stay away game. I have no clue what's gonna happen here. I am just gonna watch the game. I look, OSU, I think, I watched the Michigan game. They looked dominant last weekend, but so did Indiana. Now, Indiana played one of the most horrific Purdue teams I've ever seen. Look, Purdue football. As good as basketball is going for Purdue, it's like they have to suck all the energy and power and wins out of the football team. It's like they can't have two at the same time that are good. They either have basketball or they have football. Like, football went to the Big Ten championship just like three or four years ago. I think it was in 22. They played in the Big Ten. Football, the football team. Uh, I don't know if they've won a Big Ten game. They did win, I think two years ago they won a Big Ten game. Uh, so they they did in the last three years have won a Big Ten game, but I think it's maybe only one. I think last year they only won one game. This year they won two. They played 12. Uh, that's three wins in two years. Look, things are not looking good. So when they beat up on a team like that, I don't care as much. OSU, Michigan looked pretty good. They're ranked in the top 25. They've looked good this season. Uh, that was more impressive to me. But both teams look better than they did last year. I thought they were both very good last year. They both made the college football playoff, the very first college football playoff. Uh, all season long this year. Uh, this is why, so I'm saying that about, you know, they look good, but they played a bad team, look good, played a good team. But then you got to think through the whole season, like every week that IU would play like a ranked team or somebody, like all the talking heads on game day, on all these things. Oh, this is the week IU loses. Oh, I pick IU, uh, Illinois to upset IU. Ha ha ha ha. Isn't that funny? Ha ha ha ha. Uh, I pick Oregon to upset IU. Ha ha ha ha. Well, I guess that wasn't an upset, it was in Oregon. They were favorites. But you get my point. They're saying, oh, this is when IU loses, this is when IU loses. Every week, every week. They lose to Illinois, they lose Oregon, they said it, they said it, they said it. Indian S 12-0. They didn't lose. They dog them and they played close games, like winning at Penn State. Now, I know Penn State's not great this year, but it was on the road. The Penn State crowd was jacked up, ready to roll, and and it they needed overtime to beat them. But you know what? They won them all and they kept winning. Historically, Ohio State always kills Indiana. They did last year, but they got like three turnovers early in the game. And then Coach uh Sig, he played that game weird last year. I don't know what happened there. Uh, he played it like not to lose. He didn't go for it enough in last year's game. I'm not sure what was going on there. I don't know if he was worried like if they they lost by I think they lost by like three touchdowns, but if they lost by like five or seven touchdowns that they would like take them out of the college football playoff entirely, I don't know. So he was like playing not to lose rather than trying to win. If you know what I mean, you know what I mean. Um I if if Indiana hangs around early, I think they can win this game. I don't know. But it also wouldn't shock me if Ohio State wins by 14. I their defense is so good. It's so good. I I I don't I don't know. Indiana has a Heisman quarterback. I think he's gonna win the Heisman. I just want to watch this game. I'm not gonna bet it. This is my stay away game. I don't know which way this is gonna go. Stay away. That's my that's my pick for this one. That's my stay away game of the week. All right, let's get into the NFL here and then wrap this thing up. Last bye week of the season 49ers, Giants, Panthers, Patriots, all on a bye this week. That's it. Then we're four weeks and out. So cherish it. Cherish this football weekend, cherish the next four because it's soon going to go away. Like the Christmas season fluttering away. Uh Pittsburgh at Baltimore, Baltimore minus six. This one's for the division lead. I mentioned it earlier. They're both tied for the division lead in the AFC North, six and six. I love the Ravens here. Uh, Pittsburgh's look so bad. I've talked about it at length on this podcast. Aaron Rodgers looks so bitter. He is so mad to be there. Doesn't want to be there. Like that team just it's just bad vibes all around. Uh I don't like them. I don't like Pittsburgh here. Uh, it kills me because I had a future on Pittsburgh. I thought Rogers could maybe be the answer. It's not looking good. Uh, I like Baltimore minus six here. Indy at Jacksonville. Jacksonville home dogs. Home dogs run faster. Jacksonville plus one and a half at home. Again, uh, this was almost my uh lock of the week. I I'd taken the Jags a little too many times, I think, for my own liking. Uh they've kind of they got me one time. Uh they paid off once, they got me once as a lock. Uh, I will bet this game, but I uh this is not my lock. Uh Begin, division lead. They're both eight and four, tied for the division. Indy lost two in a row. Indiana Jones looks shook. I like Jacksonville here. I like home dogs. Home dogs run faster. I'm just gonna do a little Jacksonville money line on my card. That's what I'm betting there. Cincinnati at Buffalo minus six. Uh, every game that the Bengals play is a must-win to the rest of the season. Um, and I think they win. I look, I know their defense is not great. It's very, very bad, actually. But I don't, I don't, they got Joe Burrow back. They uh like the this everything's going their way. They they beat the Ravens, like the Bills have not looked like the Bills of old. I questioned a while ago if the Bills would even make a as a wild card. New England has a firm grip on that division. They've risen from the ashes of very bad quarterbacks after Tom Brady to having Drake May and looking like a top of the AFC franchise again. I don't understand how they did that. Um it kind of disgusts me a little bit. Um, but yeah, uh like the Bills, they're not winning the division, they're gonna have to get a wild card. Um they they don't look that sharp this year. I I like Cincinnati here. I know it's in Buffalo. There'll probably be snow. I like Cincinnati. Cincinnati plus six. Take it plus six. I think you sprinkle the money line a little bit, you get good odds on that money line with the minus six, but uh definitely I think they cover the six. But I want to look at the over in that one because the Bears' defense, or the Bears. Oops, I'm moving on to the next game. Uh Cincinnati's defense, very, very bad. Cincinnati, very, very bad. Um I'm gonna skip this next one and come back to it in a little bit. A little foreshadowing there on what my lock of the week is. Uh, and we got two more I want to talk about here. Houston at Kansas City, Kansas City minus three and a half. Now, I don't understand this. Kansas City just lost to the Cowboys. Houston's looking good. I talked about how I don't like the Chiefs, this look of this Chiefs team, that their time might be up. Houston's defense is absolutely terrific. Uh, you have to go Houston plus three and a half here. Even I I'm not saying moneyline on this one. I don't know. I'm not fully ready to say that the time is up for Kansas City. But uh boy, it's getting close. Uh we're the clock's about to strike midnight, I think, and the Chiefs are gonna turn into pumpkins here. Uh Mahomes going to get sacked at least three times. So if you can find a way to put that in your little parlay thing or whatever, you want to build your own little parlay, single-game parlay, SGP. I uh see if you can get Mahomes sacked over three times. I feel this Houston defense is crazy. I think they're gonna sack him, sack him, sack him. Uh he holds the ball too long, trying to do all these fancy things, and that front four, that front four is nasty. They'll bring four. It's not, they they get you watch a Houston game. They get you bringing four and sitting seven back, and they get there with the four. I mean, it is some of the games I've watched Houston. It's I I'm like they had to send five, six people at least. Nope, just front four. That front four is tremendous, and they're gonna get to Mahomes on Sunday. Uh they may even win, but I definitely like Houston plus three and a half here. And then Philly at the Chargers. Chargers, another home dog, two and a half point home dog. Uh, quick question. And this is rhetorical because I'm talking to myself here on a podcast, but are the Chargers the least talked-about team in football? I they play in LA. LA's a big city. Like the Lakers are talked about all the time, all the time, in the NBA circles. The Rams, people talk about the Rams, they play in LA. I the Dodgers just won the World Series. The Chargers play in LA. It's like, it's like they don't exist. They're 8-4. I was surprised to see that they were eight and four. I thought maybe, okay, what are we like six and six, uh, seven and five or something? Like they're just middling around. No, they're eight and four, they're very good, they're in the playoffs. Uh, I never hear anything about them. I don't, I just, I don't know. It used to be all about Air Bear and how great he was and this, that, and the next thing. And now you just don't even hear about them. So I they're the most surprising eight and four team in the NFL, I think. I I think if you took a poll of people and said, uh, are the Chargers do the Chargers have a winning record? I think you'd get almost like a 50-50 yes and no. No, they're eight and four. I don't get it. I don't know. Uh anyway, the the way to get about that round about rant there was there's a reason we don't talk about them. Nobody cares about the Chargers. They lose this game, they lose it by more than three. I love Philly here, plus two and a half. Uh, after losing to the Cowboys, after losing to the Bears, I think they rally here and go on the road to LA and win. I like Philly to win by more than three. All right, let's get into some of the gambling group locks. I only got four of them for you, and then my own. But we got the important one. Let's start with the important one. Uncle John Duke, Virginia minus four. Oh no, I said I liked Virginia minus four. He's giving you Virginia minus four. Uncle John, I need you to miss. Oh man. Oh man. I said I like that game too. For it. Alright, well, that's Uncle John's luck. He's been very good this year. Him and I are both tied for the lead. He's given you Virginia minus four over Duke in that ACC championship game. I like that one a lot. I like it. Greg has given us the game I told you to stay away from. He's given you OSU minus five and a half over Indiana. Greg is a big uh OSU homer. He grew up in Ohio. He's a homer. He usually doesn't bet him. I don't know. This is interesting that he would pick Ohio State here. He must be very confident in this game. I'm staying away. I'm still going to stay away. Uncle Mike gave us BYU Texas Tech over 49.5. I like that a lot. When they played the last time, that went well over, I think, the 49.5. I'd have to look it up. But I feel like Texas Tech almost scored 49.5 in the last game. Like they were just, it was like spinning wheel of points for them. So yeah, I like that a lot. At a neutral site, love it. And then the last one we got this week, uh, Steve's given us Tampa Bay minus eight and a half, and they're hosting New Orleans. New Orleans very, very bad. Tampa Bay needs a win. Uh, you know, I mentioned earlier the Panthers are on a bye this week. So a win here would put them like a half game or a game ahead of the Panthers who are on a bye. Yeah, I think Tampa Bay definitely wins this game. New Orleans, I think, has one or two wins all year. And uh yeah, Tampa wins this uh eight and a half's a lot. But Tampa's very bad. I I do like this eight and a half. I I would go with that. But yeah, so nothing from Ethan, Matt, or Scott, but that's okay. We'll get the AI ones out when they get them in. Now we're going into my lock of the week. I am giving you, I think, for the first time. Bears plus six and a half. I don't know if in the four years of this podcast I've ever picked the Chicago Bears. Duh Bears as my lock of the week. I don't, I look, a lot of times I pick my locks, I look at the and mostly NFL games. I look at the college game some, uh, but I look at the NFL games and I look at it and I'm like, I don't know. Okay, maybe this one. I pick all the games. My wife and I were in a little league at our work. We pick every single game every week against the spread. And as I'm filling it out, this is where my inspiration comes from. I do a little digging, you know, on some of them, but like I'm looking, I'm looking, I'm like, okay, maybe this one or that one, I don't know. Coin toss, coin toss. Uh, I think this one, I think that one, blah, blah, blah.
unknown:Right.
Andy:There are times when it like strikes me like a lightning bolt in the app when I'm going to make a pick, and I just like I cannot hit my thumb on it hard enough or fast enough. And Bears plus six and a half was that moment. I'm s I'm like, I'm like looking at the phone. I'm looking. I open other apps, I'm like, the phone wrong. The phone must be wrong. What's going on? Six and a half makes no sense. That's a touchdown. What is this? Uh the spread must be three and a half. The Bears are the number one team in the NFC. The Bears have looked very sharp this year. The Bears' defense has looked very good. They have a running game in 2025 that is very good. Uh I don't, six and a half doesn't make sense. I hammered it, and then I said, boom, that's my lock. I like the Jags. I said it earlier. I said I like I think Jacksonville's gonna win that game against India. I like that they're a home dog, but I couldn't pass this up. Bears on the road, and I know it's in Green Bay, and Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers was the boogeyman, and they kind of like OSU in Michigan with Ryan Day and losing to Michigan all the time. But like the Aaron Rodgers is gone, the boogeyman's gone. I know Jordan Love beat him last year, but they beat him at the end of the year. Uh, I I think I think the Bears beat him. I don't I I'm gonna put some on the money line here. I I don't know. I keep picking against the Bears too. As the season was going on, you know, especially early in the season, I'm like, oh the Bears Carol Williams. No, no, pick against them in that little app every week. Pick against the Bears, and they would cover, and they would win, and they would cover. I'm I'm writing the ship on the Bears. I'm going with the Bears. I'm gonna bear down Chicago Bears. Um, Bears plus six and a half in Green Bay. That's my lock of the week. Lock it in. That's gonna do it for this week's episode. Thank you so much for listening. Uh, tell your friends about the podcast. Well, I was surprised. Uh, Spotify's Unwrap came out. We were not a top 10 sports podcast in the United States. I'm a little confused. What are my listeners doing here? Share it with your friends, share it with your family, share it with your priest, uh, your minister, whatever. Get the word out. The podcast is going up every week. We got a podcast for you here. No, I'm just kidding. Um, we'll look to be on Spotify's unwrapped next year. That's the that's the goal. Uh, but that's gonna do it. We got the dog picks. We're coming on TikTok. Uh, we'll have uh Stanley Poochie's pick and Ladies Lock, Sunday night football, Monday night football. Only five of them left. We gotta get them all in. That's gonna do it for this week. Thanks everybody and good luck, gambling.
