The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) has changed the landscape for coaches. The organization initiated the National Board Certification for Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC) in 2017, which has since brought a new level of continuity, respect and opportunities to those pursuing a career as a health coach or wellness coach.
