Welcome to Not Winning, a conversation about faith, humility and the upside-down Kingdom of Jesus. Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew that anyone who wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for him will find it. Two thousand years later, we face a culture fixated on no compromises, dominating our opponents and winning at all costs. Even in our Jesus-following faith communities, we are finding it hard to find the same selfless and humble postures that we see in the stories of Jesus and his followers being walked out in our world today. Why is that? And how can we get back to practicing these beautiful expressions of the Christian faith?
