Simon Hancock is a dad, a husband and an adventurer at heart.

Two years ago he received a terminal diagnosis of Motor Neuron Disease (MND) and his life changed immediately and immeasurably.  The average life expectancy for someone who is diagnosed with MND is 27 months - Simon is busy defying this statistic and refuses to be defined by his diagnosis.

Simon joined us on our monthly podcast to discuss how one comes to terms with a shocking diagnosis and the many ways he has adapted to living with a disability.  But does he identify as having a disability?

Join Amanda and Simon as they discuss the challenges and triumphs of parenting, living and thriving with a life-limiting disease.

You will find Simon's story inspiring and moving; this fun fifty-year-old father refuses to let MND dictate how he lives his precious life and he is passionate about creating wonderful memories with and for his two young kids.

Many thanks to Simon for his time, insight and passion, and for raising awareness about what it means to live with MND.
