Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
When Bran Flakes first downloaded TikTok in January 2021, they were simply looking for a creative outlet during the pandemic. Friends had suggested saving Snapchat stories and uploading them to this new platform. Maybe it could even lead to reality TV someday—after all, wasn't that how casting worked now? What followed was a masterclass in turning authentic content into a thriving career.
The self-proclaimed creator of "Gay Chaos" joins us for an unfiltered conversation about the stunning financial transformation that came with embracing their unique voice. From earning $40,000 in a corporate job they found mundane to generating over $768,000 last year through content creation, Bran's journey illustrates the potential of the creator economy when paired with business savvy and unapologetic authenticity.
Unlike many creators who rush to relocate to industry hubs, Bran proudly maintains Philadelphia as home base, strategically positioning themselves as "a big fish in a little pond." This geographic loyalty has become central to their brand identity, allowing for distinctive content that stands out in a crowded digital landscape. We explore how staying true to your roots might actually be the smartest career move for aspiring creators.
The conversation veers delightfully into personal territory as Bran discusses their approach to dating ("I'm a slut, not a fuckboy"), communication styles, and the current long-distance situationship with an LA-based interest. With refreshing candor, they share insights about misconceptions regarding their drinking habits, therapy experiences, and future aspirations to expand into hosting opportunities. For anyone navigating the creator economy or simply appreciating unfiltered dialogue about modern life, this episode delivers equal parts entertainment and entrepreneurial wisdom. Meeting Bran Flakes: Gay Chaos Icon
Speaker 1I've had times where I've, like, been spiraling and I know I need to go, but then I don't. Are you mentally sane?
Speaker 2Yeah, wow.
Speaker 1Are you like a fuckboy?
Speaker 2I would say I'm a slut, not a fuckboy. You guys have had sex how many times? Ah, I mean, that's so funny.
Speaker 3This is Mocktails, or.
Speaker 1Messy.
Speaker 3And you are listening with Ryan Frankofsky and.
Speaker 1Kelly Musgorski.
Speaker 3Welcome to the studio. Bran Flakes is in the house.
Speaker 2Oh my god, thank you for having me.
Speaker 3Oh my god, Bran Flakes, you are such a fucking icon, a star. Gay Chaos is really just somebody that we've always been following, for like two years. Thanks, guys, Always.
Speaker 2I guess always kind of yeah that's like a lot of my career.
Speaker 3Yes, yes, and tell us a little bit about your drink of choice today.
Speaker 2Yes, I requested April Spritz. That is just like my drink of life recently. I do not think it's a summer drink, I think it is timeless. I really did not like them to begin with. I thought that they were really gross and bitter. I actually started abroad in Italy and everyone drank them and I was like not for me. And then last summer I just gave them a chance and I was like my palate developed and now I'm obsessed. It gets me like the perfect drunk too. Like, just like happiness.
Speaker 3We had to get the good stuff for you.
Speaker 2Thank you, Ryan, I mean is this the good stuff.
Speaker 3I don't know, you're probably used to like some Dom Perignon no.
Speaker 2Ruth is like please, I'm trash, don't get it twisted. Pittsburgh meets Philly right Exactly.
Speaker 3So you are here in Pittsburgh from give us, like, some insight.
Speaker 2We know this, but we want to hear from you. So I'm like on a little travel bender right now. I am from Philly, I live in Philadelphia. I actually went out to LA for a TikTok conference and then I had the platform, which was a conference here in Pittsburgh, run by In the Cohort. I was honored with the title of being the keynote speaker, which was so great. So, yeah, I flew from LA to Pittsburgh, which was a disaster.
Speaker 3Let me just say that it's a shit show. Right, Shit show. There's no direct flights no Southwest. Okay, because.
Speaker 2Spirit is direct. Okay, pittsburgh here loves Southwest, so there was no direct flights available. So I had to fly to Vegas. My flight was delayed two hours. I had to fly to Vegas. My flight was delayed two hours. I got to Pittsburgh literally four hours before the conference.
Speaker 1So that was fun, but like we never could have yeah, we couldn't tell.
Speaker 2I like, don't sleep in general, so okay you know I like thrive off exhaustion and chaos.
Speaker 1I will say you're glowing today, though I don't know if pink is your color, maybe, but you're just in my skin glowing.
Speaker 2Okay, what is your? Skincare routine um, I use la roche posay. It's like my favorite. So I use their cleanser and then I go in with like a vitamin c or a hyaluronic acid, um, and then moisturize pretty much it. I don't really do anything. Sometimes I throw in like a little facial oil in there as well um, but yeah hey that's good. Thanks for sharing. Yeah, yeah, of course I love skincare.
Speaker 3Oh, I really wanted you to pop it, but I just I was so involved.
Speaker 2I'm really glad that you did it. I like love. I was really scared you were going to make me make this myself and I'm just really. I'm really grateful that so far I haven't had to move.
Speaker 1He always makes the drinks. He's a bartender, are you really? I used to be, oh my goodness.
Speaker 2Well, thank you guys. Wait, are you drinking?
Speaker 1I had a drive here, so no.
Speaker 2Okay, am I party of?
Speaker 3one. You are the messy Cheers, I still have to lock eyes with both of you.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1We're going to still be messy. It's just, I tried to order my Uber, but I did it too late, so I drove here.
Speaker 3I know I should have ordered it for you. I know, I just was hoping I could have got brand.
Speaker 1Is it?
Speaker 3good, so good. Well, we wanted you to get like the best of the best. I know that like it really is inspiring to see you kind of take off from, just like you know, this creator that was stuck in the pandemic and is like kind of prying to what like, what inspired you to get started in the TikTok space.
Speaker 2So a lot of people had been texting me and were like Bran, like have you downloaded TikTok yet? And I was like no, like I can't do like another social media app, like that is far too much for me. I can barely keep up with my Instagram and all that jazz. So I don't think so. I can barely keep up with my Instagram and all that jazz. So I don't think so. But then a lot, like a lot of my friends would like start replying to my Snapchat stories and they were like do you realize? You could just save your Snapchat story and upload it to TikTok. Like you are so funny, you like live the craziest life. You and your friends are so insane. Like, just give it a try. So, january of 2021, I caved and I was like you know what? At that point, I really wanted to be on reality TV and I did notice that a lot of reality TV shows were casting like influencers.
Speaker 2Yes, and I didn't really like understand, like really what an influencer was, to be totally transparent. So I was just like, because you are a baby, yeah, you're 28.
Speaker 3I'm 28.
Speaker 2But at that time I was 24.
Speaker 2That's young yeah, and yeah, I was young then. I feel old now, but yeah, I was just like you know what. Maybe I should just like play around with TikTok, maybe I'll like develop a following and I can use that to kind of get on TV. And then little did I know. Like I actually had like a really good knack for it all and took off and yeah. So I started making videos in January 2021. I was working a full time, nine to five, during that time and then I ended up being able to quit my nine to five job April 2022.
From Snapchat to TikTok Success Story
Speaker 3So yeah, you mentioned that you were making $40,000 fast forward to last year. Yes, and I saw it. Rich BFF. Yes, I love her. I've been following her for like a long time as well, she's amazing.
Speaker 1Yes, you disclosed your what you earned last year, correct? Yeah, which was around $800,000. Yeah $768,000.
Speaker 2You know that's pre-management, pre-taxes, but still like yes, I mean, my $40,000 was pre-taxes too, so definitely a jump, which was great.
Speaker 3Oh my God, and we love the transparency. Cheers to you being one of very few to be so transparent. Thanks guys. Yeah, so we are mocktailing it today. Brand flakes is getting messy.
Speaker 2You're the messy one.
Speaker 3We think it's fitting your brand with the chaos Of course the gay chaos.
Speaker 1The gay chaos of all. Yes, so that's what we love about you is the chaos, and you're very unfiltered. You say exactly what's on your mind. You don't seem apologetic at all.
Speaker 2Unless I have to be. I've screwed up before, Like you will admit. If you screw up, oh absolutely, I'm like. I always take accountability.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's what we we like that we do that too.
Speaker 3Can you try like can you stick your straw, or you can suck on mine, I'll suck on yours. Suck on my straw.
Speaker 1This is good. Yeah, I know it's a different color than.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 2What do you feel? What's the? What's the juice?
Speaker 3So it is this Milano or Wilfrids, it's a non-alcoholic aperitif. Okay, it's not bad. Okay, yeah, it's, it's like listen, we never are going to be able to perfectly simulate the traditional.
Speaker 2But on mocktails, no, I mean, that's a pretty good sub.
Speaker 3Yeah, you could like fuck with it, yeah. Like if you had to like take a little break, yeah, but I think with me and Kelly, like I love the balance because like she's like more mindfully drinking, you know we're in our thirties.
Speaker 3We're trying to be more. I've been sober for a year and a half Congratulations, Thank you. I've been trying to get to your level with the hustle and the work. I think with the drinking it was really kind of plateauing me. You know what I mean. I'm sure you have friends that are like you know. They talk about all these big dreams and aspirations and we're all like you know, we're in that 40k, like salary maybe, and you're just like this isn't enough to survive.
Speaker 2that's basically what it was, yeah yeah, I can't do this right, but you obviously don't let drinking hold you back no, I kind of made a career out of drinking, which we like the messy. I yeah, I think when I first like developed, like launched, like I was going crazy with the drinking for sure, and the pandemic?
Speaker 2Yeah, and it was the pandemic. But I realized quickly, like number one, everyone grows, not out of it, but like the more you grow up, the worse your hangovers get, and you know you kind of don't want to spend your only for those who work in corporate. It's like you've two days off and how many times have you spent one of those or not? Both completely hung over and it's like your weekend goes to shit. So, yeah, definitely slowed down on the drinking, but like I still love to party.
Speaker 2I think, like I remember tink said this someone asked her if she ever goes sober and she's like I don't think I'll ever go sober. But I go through phases where, like I'm in a really big party mode and then, like I go through phases where I'm not and like, oh my god, december and January, like I was at like my peak party, like I was going fucking crazy, and now I'm like really focused on work again and I'm traveling a lot. So I'm having my cocktails here and there, choosing my nights out, but I'm kind of now in like a really hustle mode, as you point out, so I think it goes in waves like summer obviously party, oh my god.
Speaker 2But yeah, no, um, I never. It's funny, I think a lot of people my haters are like you're an alcoholic, you're a drinking problem, you know let everyone let everyone have their opinions. If you actually know me in real life, which all of my friends and family do, I've never had the talk my friends have never been like are you okay?
Speaker 2my therapist has never been okay. My doctor's never been like are you okay? Um, so yeah, I don't drink to cope. I truly drink to like, celebrate and have fun, and I can do that without alcohol. I just have a lot of fun with alcohol too. Exactly, but no, my vice, when I'm like upset about something, is eating. That's how, that's my toxic coping mechanism. I'm like I want mcdonald's oh for sure, Exactly.
Speaker 1Well, that's great. I love that message. I feel like, since we have you here, we want to hear you talk. Your hot takes on things, the things that come out of your mouth.
Speaker 2it's what we're here for right, ask me whatever I'm seriously such an open book.
Speaker 1And, honestly, some of these might be If you don't have an answer, you don't have to answer and we can just edit it out.
Speaker 2Let it rip.
Speaker 1Is there any hot takes? You have that upset people.
Building a Career: $40K to $800K
Speaker 2I hate New York City and that really upsets people.
Speaker 3But you're in Philly and I could see that I don't even want to say I hate New York.
Speaker 2I just think New York is so overrated. That's just how I feel, and I personally can never get down with paying so much to live in a space that is so small. Right, the fact that my apartment in Philadelphia would cost triple the amount if I lived in New York, and it would be a third of the size. I can't justify that.
Speaker 3Isn't that crazy triple.
Speaker 2Yeah, because you're really not that far location Not at all An hour on the train right? Yeah, no, like an hour and 20 minutes. And my thing is, I've never once felt relaxed in New York City. Anytime I'm out to dinner at a coffee shop anywhere in public, it feels so overcrowded. And I like people like I'm an extrovert, but like there is a that is too many people. So that is my hot take that people really get upset with me about.
Speaker 1I don't like new york hey, the weather's not even good there no so that's. That's my problem with it. Um, is there, are there any like misconceptions about you that you find frustrating? I mean probably the drinking problem.
Speaker 3See, I actually never thought of you as a drink, because you're so happy and positive oh, thank you and I think you also like have such a success, so like if you were like not working actually an alcoholic, I wouldn't do it.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, yeah um, but yeah, I think that like part like really bothers me. I also just like when do we become so comfortable like commenting on people's like posts that you don't know? Like, oh, you have a drinking problem, oh, you're an alcoholic. Like what? Like I would never like go up. Just even if I had a close friend that I felt like had an issue, I would sit them down, be like, hey, I'm a little bit concerned about your behavior, I wouldn't go up to them. Be like, oh you, oh, you're an alcoholic, you need to go to rehab.
Speaker 1Yeah, because that's gonna make them stop. Yeah, like, do you think that's gonna?
Speaker 2like make things better. So, yeah, I think that's a misconception about me.
Speaker 1But you're glowing. I mean people with like the drinking problem. They have like the gray skin.
Speaker 2They look kind of like there's no here and bullshit. I've definitely had my moments. I don't think I've ever been gray. I've definitely looked like you should have seen me this morning. I looked like shit. I'll have to add you guys to my close friend story. You'll enjoy it. You'll enjoy that.
Speaker 1Okay, so you did go a little wild last night.
Speaker 2Like not really. Here's the thing. I was so tired obviously Because, as I mentioned, I got to the conference like three hours before it started and loved it to death. But that was very over stimulating. I was talking to people all day. My social battery goes on overdrive. Like I said, I'm super extroverted, but I was like fuck, I'm talking a lot. I think like I literally had like maybe like two or three drinks last night, but I think I was so tired. It's just like that, combined with the drinks, just made me like delirious and I like kind of blacked out.
Speaker 3Like at 11 pm.
Speaker 2I just like knocked, which was great. I needed it honestly, I know, but yeah, I woke up at like 5 in the morning today.
Speaker 1You said something funny yesterday while you were like on stage talking in front of everyone. You said that in this industry, like you're not really friends with anybody, or I might not have your words like completely right, but um yeah you know I like.
Speaker 2So last month I switched management companies and I am such an empathetic and emotional person like I'm really such an empath are you a cancer?
Speaker 2no, I'm a leo, but I have a lot of cancer signs, like in my chart. Um, like the, I don't have cancer my big three but like if you look at my chart, there's a lot of cancer in it. Um, but yeah, I'm very like empathy. So when I was like meeting with different managers, like I felt so bad, like letting people down and being like I'm not going to continue to work this was great, but I'm not going to hire you my therapist was like Brandon, you need to stop like taking this shit so personal. Like you are a business and, at the end of the day, these people aren't your friends. So that's more like what I meant.
Speaker 2Influencers, I do consider like a few other creators friends of mine, but like at the same time, it is like a weird sort of co-worker relationship. Like I have one close friend, carly Weinstein. Like she genuinely is one of my best friends. Like we met through this industry, but like she has seen me at my lowest, um, and we like she will send my friends from like college or my close friends from Philly. Like and she lives in New York, she'll send them a text if she's worried about me. Like she genuinely is a friend. I don't have that many Carlys.
Speaker 3I have like maybe a few like her.
Speaker 2My friend Eli Jazz and Hallie, I would say, are like my real close friends. Everyone else, you know, it's kind of like we see each other at events you know, we do podcasts together sometimes, but like I wouldn't text them necessarily if I was like going through crisis, you know.
Speaker 3Yeah Well, I, yeah well, I will say like a little like tidbit.
Speaker 2Like I was very nervous to like set this up so fast with you because we like to prep, yeah.
Speaker 3But then I was like, oh my god, when I saw you at the coffee shop it was just like all my anxiety dissipated, oh I was like I saw him randomly at the coffee shop and I was like he is gonna be such a like, just like is going to be such a like, just like going to be fun, like we're not going to have to plan this.
Speaker 2No, I'm like so much better. Like off the rip yeah. And like I said, like we can talk about literally anything. If we like, run out of questions we can start talking about like pop culture, oh, for sure. Or your sex life or my sex life.
Speaker 3Whatever you guys want to know.
Speaker 1I love talking about my sex life. Let's talk about your sex life.
Speaker 3Yes, you're in a situationship.
Speaker 1He's in LA Wait so you are seeing somebody, but it's a situationship Not seeing someone exclusively.
Speaker 2So like I am fully single. Like if someone wants to fuck down, let's go. But you know, I'm in a situationship with LA boy. He's so cute, he's so great. We actually met on social media like four years ago. At the time, like he was one of my first followers, which is so cool, like he's seen my platform from the shape of it.
Hot Takes and Misconceptions
Speaker 2And I messaged him and he followed me. I was like, oh my God, like you are so handsome. And he's like, oh, thank you so much, like I love your content. I was like, are you single? And? And then they broke up and then I had a boyfriend and you know how you can like, stalk someone. You know you can watch someone's social media and tell that they broke up with their significant other.
Speaker 2Like he definitely noticed that me and my ex had broken up last year and he swooped into my DMS and now we've been talking ever since and we finally met in person um about three weeks ago and he's so great.
Speaker 3You know, like we're just having fun.
Speaker 2Obviously he lives in la. I'm in philly, I adore. Would you ever move to la? Um, not in the next like few years. No, right now I am like loving, I love philly so much. Um, and I just like feel like right now my a lot of my platform is focused on philly and it's just my family's there. So I will always, no matter what, have a home in philly. But if someone told me, hey, you might be able to be bi-coastal in a few years, like, I would not mind that because I really do love California.
Speaker 2That's our goal. We'll all reach it.
Speaker 3I mean, I will say, though, kind of what really like made me feel so connected to you is because you're like I am a Philly boy.
Speaker 3This is like where we're doing everything this is who you are, and like we are really true Yinzers, like Pittsburghers, like we are, and so like to come back and be able to do what we love in podcasts In LA. It was like it was hard because she was in the South, like she was in South Carolina, mississippi, so to work remote was tricky, and then even like the cost, like just to operate. Yeah, you know, like to get started, I feel like it's really been helpful to be in our hometown, you know no 100.
Speaker 2Stick to your roots always. I think there's a lot of people that I don't want to say they sell out, but I think they're really eager to like go to new york and go to la, and I get it, because there is so much opportunity for the creator world there, but there's also so much competition and that's what I love about.
Speaker 3Philly, it's like there's a few other creators.
Speaker 2But yeah, I'm a big fish in a little pond. I've always thrived in that kind of environment. So, it's perfect for me.
Speaker 3Right and your main character, energy, not to say that you wouldn't be in these bigger cities. Like, definitely have that capability with the platform. A million followers on TikTok, 300k on Instagram I mean the sky is the limit for you. But you also are strategic with the business aspect behind it, because you could have a lot of these. I mean you can explain that, like you know people with a lot of followers that are not treating it as a business. No, yeah.
Speaker 2A hundred percent. I mean you have to really like it, go after it every single day, like, yeah, I have a plot, like a lot of people would take my following and be like, okay, you're done, brian, like you can just chill. It's like, no, I want to keep growing that, I want to keep developing, like I want to get into other areas of the business, whether it's hosting, whether it's red carpet correspondence.
Speaker 2I will never be quote unquote satisfied and not in like a bad, toxic way. It's just, I'm a really big goal driven person. I constantly like to challenge myself and achieve new things, and I'm not good at being bored. That's why, like the corporate industry was like never it for me. I was, like this is too mundane. I want to be more in control of like my you know day to day schedule and how businesses run. So, yeah, for me, I'm always focused on like what's next Do you take time off?
Speaker 3Do you like have an off day? Do you take vacation and not like?
Speaker 2disconnect Not as much as I should, not as much as I should. I try to like, once every few weeks, put like a blackout date, like usually a Sunday that I call like a rot day, and I really try to just like really disconnect. I'll be honest, like with the platform growth that I've been experiencing recently and all the travel that just like hasn't been possible, but like I also really thrive on being on the go and like that's definitely not all the way healthy, I should be able to like sit on the couch without spiraling.
Speaker 2I have a little bit of like productivity guilt where, like, if I feel like I could be like doing something else that's more productive, I definitely can be like no, like go get up and do something. When it's like no, you can sit on the couch and watch white Lotus Like you're okay, yeah, um, but yeah, that's that's what we're working on in therapy.
Speaker 3I love it. I I wasn't. I'm still in therapy.
Speaker 2to take it more seriously, yeah, I mean, you get what you put into it. Yeah, yeah, I have a really great therapist, which is great. I mean, I love therapy.
Speaker 3That's pro therapy. What about you, Kelly?
Speaker 1I've never been.
Speaker 3Isn't that crazy.
Speaker 1I've always meant to go. I've had times where I've, like been spiraling and I know I need to go, but then I don't. Wow, that's a rarity.
Speaker 2You kind of do seem like, dare I say, non-mentally ill.
Speaker 1Thank you, wow, unless I'm PMSing. If you catch me when I'm PMSing, do you have anxiety. On and off.
Speaker 3She does, but then she covers it up. It's like where me and you could probably wear it on our sleeve, definitely.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3I don't even know when she has it.
Speaker 1Wow, I don't even know when she has it. Yeah, no, I think the only thing that gives me anxiety is my children. Oh wow, Like I didn't have anxiety until I had to care for somebody else.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's so valid yeah. Wow, good for you, Congratulations, thank you. Do you want kids? Oh, wait, you go ahead.
Speaker 1Oh, that's a good question though.
Dating, Situationships and Sexuality
Speaker 2I don't know. Ask you genuinely, I don't know like this is gonna sound like so weird. I never thought I did. And then, with my ex, like when I like realized, like what love felt, like I was like, oh, I want a kid with you, like I want that's. When I was like okay, like maybe I do want kids. I just can never picture them because right now I don't even like know who my partner would be. Yeah, so I I would say like maybe, but like not anytime soon.
Speaker 1Yeah, right, well, you have time.
Speaker 2Yeah, especially as a man like yeah, you have all the time that you want what is the dating pool like in philly, apparently here for the gay community.
Speaker 1It's pretty ran through and small. I think you're watching like a yearbook.
Speaker 2It's so funny. Have you ever asked somebody from any city what's the dating life like and have they ever answered? It's so great.
Speaker 1No no.
Speaker 2Never. Everywhere you go, any city, they'll be like the dating here sucks, the dating here sucks. I've heard that from Philly, New York, Miami, Austin, you name it. If I ask someone what's the dating like, I've never heard someone be like it's actually really good. You, A lot of Greek guys Like no, that's a good point. Men are trash all over the world?
Speaker 2Yeah, they are, so it really does not matter what state, what zip code, you know they're garbage, Not women though I don't know, I don't want to like, but yeah, the gay community isn't huge for sure Like I definitely feel like especially me, I guess being like a little bit bit recognizable. I don't feel like I have like necessarily a clean slate, but yeah, I'm not doing when you say clean slate. What do you mean? Like I've caught my bodies, I've caught my bodies. I've made out with a lot of different people from a lot of different cliques in the gay community.
Speaker 1I will say it's a little cliquey in the gay community. Are you like a fuck boy?
Speaker 3I wouldn't say I'm a fuckboy.
Speaker 2I would say I'm a slut, not a fuckboy. I think a fuckboy plays with people's heads.
Speaker 3And.
Speaker 2I'm not. You guys just heard me talk about my situation. I'm single. There's no room for interpretation like this it's what it is, we're having fun, and I think fuckboys kind of don't do that. I think they kind of act like maybe there's going to be. They play games that I think they kind of like actually like maybe there's gonna be like they play games. Yeah, they play games. I definitely wouldn't say I play games.
Speaker 2I think I'm just over the top like blunt very like for I would say I'm very forward and that is not for everybody. Like some people are very turned off by that to me. I don't like play the whole game of it like if I think you're attractive, I will tell you I think you're attractive, I've no, I've gone up to a million people before and just be like hey, do you want to make out? Like I don't, that's just and that is not everyone's style and that is so fine. That's really for me.
Speaker 2I've always been like backwards with dating, like I would love to fuck first, like let's have sex yeah, test drive the car and then we get dinner and like there's no, like overarching, like where's this gonna go? Are we gonna hook up after dinner? And not that it should be like that, that that's just me being a fucking whore. But yeah like I'm samantha jones, but I've had like, so my ex, like we had a one night stand and then it turned into a two night stand and then it turned to do you want to get dinner this week?
Speaker 2and then it like I love how that works. I've never been great at the traditional like let's go on a date and get to know each other because, like I'm a hornball, like I like want to fuck, like immediately. I'm just gonna say so I wouldn't say I'm a fuckboy, but I definitely would say I'm a slut. I'm definitely a hornball I'm definitely forward pro sex.
Speaker 3What is it? Sex it?
Speaker 2Sex positive. I'm very sex positive. I had this conversation on my podcast. My friends were like you subscribe to people's OnlyFans. I was like, absolutely.
Speaker 1I love supporting our sex workers, but you don't have an OnlyFans, correct? No, I don't Not yet. Have you thought about it?
Speaker 2No, that's not your brand. I don't think that's my brand. Also, I don't think that's my brand. Also, like I like don't like not to say, I like hate myself or anything, but I'm not like super confident in my appearance, so I wouldn't really like want to put that out there. Do you have a type. I mean I definitely tend to like if you. I say I don't have a type, but if you look at who I've dated, I clearly have a type. I like men from the.
Speaker 2I like thick guys for sure, but for me it's definitely personality. If you have a great charm and make me feel super happy and I enjoy being around you, it really doesn't matter anything beyond that. I definitely am personality first. I've met people who are so hot that literally have had the worst personality that I'm not attracted to. And I've met people who like at first glance like I wouldn't necessarily swipe right to them on a dating app, but I talk to them and I get to know them and I'm like, oh wow, I'm really attracted to you.
Speaker 1They start to get cute and as soon as they start not liking you back.
Speaker 2They get really cute. Oh my god, I know that's hot, it's so hot, it's so bad.
Speaker 3Let me ask you this yeah, I love me some latin boys. I find them like just really good lovers and like, very like that part baby we're gonna go do this like it's like very like, I don't know, it's just like it's dominant in a way, is that I mean? Yeah, I mean I don't want to stereotype anything just like it's dominant in a way, is that? I mean it's stereotyped.
Speaker 2Maybe I don't want to stereotype anybody but I do think a lot of times in the Latin community the men are really good at like cooking and cleaning and taking care and like that is like.
Speaker 2I really my love language is not wait. I like when my partner's love language is acts of service, like I love a man that will like come into my room in the morning with like coffee and breakfast and like will grab my suitcase for me and hold the door for me like I'm a diva, so for me I love that type of stuff a diva, a slut, what else?
Speaker 2uh, you know a lot a lot of things um, so yeah I have noticed a lot of the men in the Latin community are very much like that. And they love to kind of make sure I'm taken care of.
Speaker 3Oh my god, it's so hot yeah that's my crib tonight. So that's your acts of love, or the love language.
Speaker 2My personal love language is quality time. I'm a needy anxious, attached type of person. I want to see you. I want to talk to you I want you to pick me up from the bar. I want you to come over after work like I'm a leo and I'm a leo that posts online like you can write attention whore on my forehead. I need constant validation, constant attention that's amazing. Constant reassurance, I mean, it's something.
Speaker 3No, wonder you're in therapy.
Speaker 1I think that's so cute though.
Speaker 3I'm very much in therapy. I was kidding because I do love attention, I think, as influencers or podcasters or people that want to be in the camera or in the limelight. There is that element. I remember Andy Cohen said it best he's sitting like on this, like whatever you call one of those housewife reunions, and he's like, let's be honest, we all are vain here. Yeah, like or like there is some element I can never deny that, no, no, what's your love language?
Speaker 3it's quality time, quality time okay, yeah, I really don't know mine. I thought it was physical touch. But I think it's the words or what like when somebody like oh the words of affirmation, the words of affirmation is great. I didn't realize that until recent.
Speaker 2That is probably a close second for me. Like I definitely need to be, like, like I said, like, reassured, reaffirmed. Yeah, for sure, do you like gift giving?
Speaker 3um, do you like gift giving? You know what I?
Speaker 2just unless it's really really expensive, like I don't really like cheap shit I don't really care about the little thing.
Speaker 3Yeah, like I'll pretend I do like because it's a nice thing to do.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, but I don't want to be fake.
Speaker 3This is the new year of like no fakeness. Like what you said in 2025. Like I don't have time for the fucking bullshit. Like what was the thing that you said about you don't want somebody to get drunk and tell you that they're angry with you three weeks later?
Speaker 2Yeah, I mean I have a problem with people. I think that's my biggest pet peeve, especially with dating, is I cannot deal with people that cannot communicate. I'm definitely an overthinker and probably an over-communicator. I love that. I really do not like gray area. I over communicator. I love that. I really do not like gray area.
Speaker 2I don't like when people know how they feel but won't tell you how they feel or won't tell you in a way that, like makes sense or is respectful. Um, so that pisses me off. Like if you are upset about something, let's discuss it and if not, don't bring it up. Like, don't bring it up three weeks later. You know if you need a time to think about you know how I'm gonna say this and you know I want to be really, like you know thoughtful of how I'm gonna present what I'm upset about. That's all good and fun, but like if we're at a bar and you're gonna tell me now that you're upset about something that happened weeks ago one wrong environment to tell me and two like why didn't you tell me sooner?
Speaker 1like I don't know that stuff pisses me off I'm gonna piggyback off that just to add to it. I hate, I hate that. And then I hate when people get passive, aggressive, like that's my biggest just fucking say it to me.
Speaker 2Yeah, I don't like passive aggressiveness at all. Can I have some more? Of course, let's get this a little. It's got this little orange red.
Speaker 3Do you want me to get you some more champagne? No, you're good with that.
Speaker 2I think I'm good, perfect.
Speaker 3Oh, that's a pretty color. Yeah, that's great. That's the way it should be. That's great. How is Alex Cooper? She's great. Yeah, that was pretty fucking amazing.
Speaker 2I mean, she's just someone that I've looked up to for so long. Yeah, I think, like the empire, it's literally an empire. The empire she's built is like as a content creator I feel like it's impossible not to respect her, unless you're a straight-up hater um and like how could? You hate her exactly, but she's really like so kind in person not that I expected her not to be, but like she's a pennsylvania girl.
Speaker 2She grew up 30 minutes from me. But yeah, she's super down to earth, definitely has not let any of the success made her like gone to her head. She's extremely humble. She's great yeah.
Speaker 3Yeah, I thought that was so fucking cool when I saw you there, and I was like oh, my God.
Speaker 2Yeah. Bran Flakes is everywhere I tried to be when is he not?
Speaker 3I know, Like, have you seen somebody that you're like have your eye on next, that you want to collaborate with?
Speaker 2Um, I've always wanted to collaborate with Kylie Kelsey. She's been a dream guest of mine on my podcast.
Speaker 1I know they were talking about her yesterday, I know.
Speaker 2So, backstory, liquid Death was at the panel that we were at yesterday and they did a huge partnership with her. And I was like fo Rory, liquid Death was at the panel that we were at yesterday and they did a huge partnership with her and I was like foaming at the mouth. I was like whose dick do I have to suck to get her contact? Which?
Speaker 3is so funny.
Personality Over Appearance in Relationships
Speaker 2We have so many mutual friends and we follow each other and she's responded to me here and there before, but no, I mean definitely would love to collab with her in some capacity.
Speaker 3And tell me why you're obsessed with her.
Speaker 2I know why I am. Yeah, just think she's so down to earth. I think she's so effortlessly funny. I think she's real authentic.
Speaker 3Um, but mainly you know she's from philly and she loves philly.
Speaker 2She reps philly so well. I love her husband jason. I love the eagles um, so I'm obsessed with her.
Speaker 3I know jason, I think, is like my favorite from the beginning I didn't even know who travis until Taylor.
Speaker 2Yeah, and I always knew.
Speaker 3Jason, and I think it has a lot to do with.
Speaker 2And Jason's been looking good. Oh yeah, I love a beard lumbersexual oh lumbersexual. Do you think?
Speaker 3he's lumbersexual.
Speaker 2Absolutely. I'm going to be honest, I've never heard that, but I'm going to steal it now.
Speaker 3See, you are showing your age. You are a young'un Am. I showing my Lumber sexual is like a millennial thing. Have you heard lumber sexual? Yes, you have. When you had that axe video, she had this TikTok axe guy. And I brought it up on the podcast.
Speaker 1I said, oh, you like lumber sexual. Maybe I heard it once from you before.
Speaker 3I've never heard anyone else say that Maybe it's not a thing anymore.
Speaker 2Okay, wow, we're going to bring it back. I'm into lumber sexual. Yes, get Wow, and we're going to bring it back.
Speaker 3I'm into lumber sexual. Yes, I get a flannel on. Grow that beard out. Okay, you know, show me that hairy chest. Oh.
Speaker 2I have that, oh fuck yeah, I see it.
Speaker 3I see the beard creeping down there. Yeah, I know I was.
Speaker 2I don't know if this is totally irrelevant, but I was dating somebody and they laser hair removed everything and I relevant, but I was dating somebody and they laser hair removed everything and I'm like, no see, I shaved, I did shave my chest, okay, and someone that I was seeing at the time was like really upset about it yeah. I had to do that. I was like, I love like what being what I call creamy, which is like, yes, hairless and tan, like oh that like, I love that look, yeah, so I was going to.
Speaker 2Where was I going? I think it was California. So I was going to. Where was I going? I think it was California and I was like I want to be just peanut butter you could just scoop off my skin. So I shaved off my entire chest and got a gorgeous spray tan. That's sexy, but it's growing in now and I like how it's growing in. It's nice to have, but I'm Jewish, so when it's there it is full bush on my chest.
Speaker 3it's really hairy and itchy, uh huh, but I can see what you're saying. Like with the tan, with the tan, that's hot, there's nothing better to me than like a nice tan, hairless butt like a Channing Tatum, only fans. Is he bisexual? I don't know.
Speaker 2I heard he was that is super hot cause, yeah, when he you know he used to be a stripper and I heard that there was a lot of lore that like he was a bisexual, like he's bisexual. I don't know if that's confirmed or denied, but when he posted that picture today I was like holy goodness.
Speaker 3I think the way he moves it, it's gotta be a little bi yeah right, I think so. I mean so I'm bisexual, but all intensive purpose have had now at this point like more relationships with guys, but I do find myself always checking out women physically. I don't know what it is, I think it's just like, but it's hard to date a woman. I mean women are beautiful.
Speaker 1I agree, that's why I like men yeah, exactly.
Speaker 3Can you imagine you dating a chick? No, fuck, no, oh yeah.
Speaker 2We were talking about this last night. Is a gold star gay, someone who's never done anything with a woman, or just someone who hasn't had sex with a woman?
Speaker 3I thought it was intercourse, but they could have eaten them out, that's what I thought too.
Speaker 2So I am a gold star gay. I've never had sex with a girl Right, but I've made out with more girls than guys.
Speaker 3Did you?
Speaker 2ever finger or eat them? No, that's the thing. I love boobs. I love boobs, love boobs, but I cannot do. Fake or real, I can't do vagina, I can't.
Speaker 3Something about the vagina?
Speaker 2No shade. I think there's some girls with beautiful vaginas, it's just not my taste. You radiate CPE Clean pussy energy.
Speaker 1Oh, thank you. That is like the nicest thing ever.
Speaker 3Oh my God, we're learning so many things from Brand Flakes Well me and my this is bad Me and my friends.
Speaker 2we created DPE, which is like dirty pussy energy. It's like a meme term, but you're girlies, someone that like we just like are really grossed out like she's dpe, like dirty pussy energy. I love it. But then we started doing cpe, which is the opposite and you like radiate cp.
Speaker 3Oh my god, yeah, yeah, you do too. Oh, thanks, I mean, or wait, can we say b? Is it cb? What's the b for bussy?
Speaker 2oh, okay per. Oh yeah, the bussy, I thought you were saying bd and like or clean or clean dick energy.
