The Art of Political Campaigning: Analyzing the Democratic Party's Approach in the Donald Trump Election Victory
Did the Democrats lose the presidential election by focusing too much on personality politics? We explore this critical question and dissect the fascinating dynamics of the recent election victory of Donald Trump. The episode uncovers the strategic missteps of the Democratic Party, who seemed more concerned with attacking Trump’s character than presenting a compelling vision for the country. By doing so, they missed an opportunity to connect with potential voters, including felons who might align with their values. Trump's simple yet powerful "Make America Great Again" message resonated with voters, providing a stark contrast to the Democrats' muddled strategy — a stark reminder of the importance of clear and consistent messaging in political campaigns.
Winning involves more than just participation, and our discussion today emphasizes entering political races with the earnestness and strategy needed for success. Both Republicans and Democrats can learn from recent setbacks, similar to losing a championship game, and use these experiences as fuel for future victories. We express disappointment in the Democrats' recent performance, urging political players to maintain focus and determination. Ending on a motivational note, we encourage our listeners to view setbacks as stepping stones to success, reminding everyone that resilience and persistence are key to overcoming challenges and excelling in any endeavor.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. You know who it is Chapad host OG Goat and, of course, you know what we're touching on today is this presidential election and the fact that Donald Trump has won. As I said prior in one of the previous episodes, that the Democratic Party is paying too much attention to Donald Trump's rhetoric instead of concentrating on what they will be doing and how they will be improving the United States and what they will do for the people. With that being said, donald Trump merely focused straight on his goal, as what he's going to do as president, he's going to do as president. So you know, while you're chasing the bread crumbs as I said in a previous episode, while you're chasing the bread crumbs, donald Trump is pushing forward. So you lost Democrats. You lost a lot of valuable time chasing the nonsense and the rhetoric. You lost it. You cannot blame no one else but yourself. You have who knows how many millions of Americans that are in jail white, black, hispanic, all nationalities that are currently in jail. You lost a vote or the presidential election to clinch the 270 necessary to win the presidency. As of 534 am Eastern Standard Time, wednesday, trump had 277 electrical bolts total. So the point I'm getting at here is that it was a small margin. Yes, it was won by a small margin and we know.
Speaker 1:If the shoe was on the other foot, there would have been claims of some sort of presidential scam or something. It would have been blamed on the ballot boxes on the street corners being turned and burned and set on fire. It would have been blamed on many things. But you as Democrats, you guys had the power. You had a president and vice president in office already. You could have made changes to some rules and regulations that would have allowed you to win, but you didn't do it. You didn't do it. You didn't do it.
Speaker 1:So, immediately once Donald Trump was found guilty as a felon of certain charges, all you had to do was just, you know, take a look at whether or not felons are allowed to vote, and people are saying a lot of mixed things. Some people are saying that felons are allowed to vote once they have completed their time. Other people are saying that every state is slightly different. Some people are saying that felons are not allowed to vote. Well, you know, every person that's in jail is not in jail for some sort of heinous crime that you might consider that okay. They should not ever appear allowed to vote If you have, let's pick a number 50,000 people or a hundred thousand people in jail across country. I don't know, I would. I'm a guess here. I'm a guess that the majority of the felons would probably be Democrat.
Speaker 1:So Donald Trump, in an instance, oversaw that and, as a felon, went to the polls and voted. What did we do about it? What did you do about it? You didn't do nothing. You had the power already. You were already vice president, with the backing of the president of the United States.
Speaker 1:You could have clinched your win by making certain changes, but instead you're trying to attack the man's character. You know, it's not about attacking his character. It's not about that. It's about winning the presidential election. That's what it's about. And the best way to win the presidential election is telling the people what it is that you will do with the country. That will help the country in the future. That's what they're looking for. That's what they're voting for.
Speaker 1:If you're going to go after little nonsense that's not beneficial to your presidential campaign, then you can't expect anything much. Look at it. He ran with the same line as he ran before. We're going to make America great again. Well, you know, did he do that in the first four years? You tell me he said he's going to build a wall. I don't know. I've heard from some people in Texas that says the wall is not built. I don't know.
Speaker 1:He was found guilty of certain charges but yet he's still a felon and he still was allowed to vote. How many felons would have voted if they knew that they can vote? But instead you left them thinking that felons are not allowed to vote. This is where the money was. This is where the money was, but you failed to foresee that because you was chasing rhetoric. So at this point, you know you can't be upset. No one can be. You know. Start crying about the loss. You know what I mean. It is what it is and Donald Trump did what he had to do to win. I believe that if the Democrats would have been more on their game, I believe things would have swung slightly different. But it is what it is.
Speaker 1:When you step into a ring to fight, you have to be prepared to fight. You don't step into a ring half-stepping. You don't do that. You don't do that. When anybody stepped in the ring with Mike Tyson, half-step and he just knocked him out. That's it. He was not there to play games. Mike Tyson's goal was a victory and he fought with the intention of winning. That's it. That's it. Listen to one of his interviews. Mike Tyson says he wasn't looking at this guy's jaw. He wasn't looking at this guy's jaw. He wasn't looking at the individual. Mike Tyson was looking through the individual and his punches proved just that. Boom. Come on, guys.
Speaker 1:I said it before the election started. I said it in the previous episode before. You know, stop chasing the rhetoric. If you wanted to win this, you need to concentrate on what you need to do to win it, and you didn't do that. You know what I mean. So I just wanted to say that and get that out.
Speaker 1:Whether he accomplishes what he said he's gonna do, I failed to believe that the goal was to get into office and that was accomplished. Will he accomplish anything? Well, he may just accomplish a few things. You know. He may just accomplish a few things, but in any event, the Republicans are satisfied. A lot of things will go their way and the rest is history. The rest is history.
Speaker 1:The next time you go into the ring, my suggestion is if you want to win, whether you're a Republican or a Democrat, if you want to win, get in there with the intent to win and be serious about what you're doing and think about what is needed to win, because you clearly, clearly was not doing that and it was just so obvious and I felt so sad for the Democrats during the race. Anyway, this is where we're going to put an end to this episode and it is what it is. You know what I mean. We lost the World Series. We lost a few things, but you know what it's not the end of the world series. We lost a few things, but you know what it's not the end of the world. Stay focused, guys, and do what you do and whatever it is that you do, do it to the best of your ability. No half stepping. This is your pod host, og GOAT, and I'm out.
