I WON THE LOTTERY
This topic is one that most people think about and some talk about it in secret, what if?
Most people think that winning the lottery would be a solution to all their worries.
That it would be a bit of magic that would make you forever happy.
Wrong.
Studies on the relationship between winning the lottery and happiness have produced mixed results.
A 2006 study shows that people who won up to $200,000 found an improvement in their mental well-being two years later.
Another study found that lottery winners were no happier than people who did not win, and that lottery winners took less pleasure from mundane events.
It's fun to think about what you would do if you played lottery numbers that brought in millions of dollars.
But, disillusioning as it may seem, big winnings can come with big costs, especially because of the greed of others, experts say.
Not sure why that GOD has put me in this direction on this message but here we are.
My last message was from Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
That message was “why worry?” we know that GOD has everything in control.
Anything that we have, are and will face is already known to GOD.
If he allowed you to be in it then he has a way out of it.
Best part is that any time the devil wants to do something to a child of GOD then he has to have permission.
Just like JOB you and I have a hedge of protection around us that no evil may harm or come against us unless GOD gives approval.
I want to remind you that if GOD is giving permission for an attack then he believes that you are strong enough to overcome that attack.
He said that he would never leave or forsake you, stand on that promise.
Hold onto that GOD is in control dear ones.
Today we shifted a bit but that is ok.
You needed to hear this.
This message seems to be coming from Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
We are told that everything that was made will be unmade, destroyed by fire and brimstone from Heaven.
Even the old Heaven will pass away.
GOD’s home right now will be gone as well as the earth, stars, sun and the solar systems.
We are given the advice to store away treasures in Heaven.
Matthew 6:19-21 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Not only has GOD allowed his only son to come and sacrifice himself for our sins.
And that was to give us the only way to restore our relationship with GOD.
GOD is making us a New Heaven and New Earth to dwell in forever with him.
We will have a mansion and it is told that we will walk streets of gold.
That is great but the main thing is that we will be with the trinity, GOD the father, GOD the Holy Spirit, GOD the son, forever.
So when I think about winning, the only winning that counts is that we won the chance to accept JESUS.
We won that he cares for us so much that he was willing to give himself for us.
We win when we die and hear him say “well done my good and faithful servant, enter in”
That is true winning.
So wrapping this up, we can take a chance and spend money on paper that will be destroyed, or we cannot take a chance on your eternity and go all in on JESUS.
