This message focuses on the day after the crucifixion. The day in between.
We often dismiss or don't think much of the day that worry and fear might be present.
But I am here to tell you that Jesus is still working. He is doing things for us even though he is absent on earth.
Jesus is now at the right hand of GOD the Father and is taking your needs and cares to our Heavenly Father who cares for us.
Just like his followers back then, they had to have Faith that Jesus was coming back.
You see we are like them in that we expect Jesus to come back soon.

Jesus was still working
While thinking about Jesus being crucified and put in the borrowed grave. His followers had a mix of emotions.
Some returned to their old ways. Some hide and worried. Some held onto hope and his promise.
That sounds like us today. The church (we are) in the day before his coming back.
We are his followers who left their old lives behind and followed him (because he called us).
The world might have crucified him and thought they did away with him.
But we are looking to the resurrection day.
The day that Jesus shows back up.
What does this have to do with the Second Day?
What does that have to do with where we are right now?
We see the followers of Jesus wait.
In the waiting, we see faithfulness.
We as followers of Jesus wait.
I am encouraged to wait on the Lord’s transformation story in my own life and the lives of others.
While Jesus is gone from earth and is in Heaven, we wait on his return.
Jesus was working on our behalf even though we couldn’t see it.
Jesus was in paradise and getting the keys to Death, Hell and the grave. He was overcoming things for us.
While Jesus is now at the right hand of the father, He is still working for us.
Calling out our names to GOD the Father, our needs and our cares is what he is working on today.
On that next day is his return and he will take us all who believe in him away with him, to be in his presence forever.
Yes we don’t have a physical Jesus walking on earth with us, but the spiritual Jesus is alive and well and working on your behalf.
