Lenny Schmidt has been a traveling Stand-up Comedian for over thirty years. In "Total Schmidt Show", Lenny sits and chats with other entertainers he runs in to as he travels. Comedians, singers, dancers, singers, song writers, magicians.... everyone who has built a career traveling and performing live on stages, cruise ships, theaters, TV, film, comedy clubs, concert halls, bar mitzvahs, strip clubs, or alleys. Some you will know. Some you will not. We shine a light on the working (not famous) live entertainer.
TSS was inspired by Lenny's previous podcast, "Quarantine Comedy", During the pandemic, Lenny spoke with other live performers about how they got through that difficult time. Everything from Zoom shows, Parking lot comedy, and streaming concerts.

Very lucky to get Leslie McDonel for 4TSS169. Caught up with her on the Celebrity Summit where she rocked out 6 shows this week. Great shows. Love her song selection. A little Bonnie Raitt, a little Pink.... She covers a lot of bases. She leaves here and heads back to Austin TX to perform in "Come from Away." for a 6 week run. She's a busy lady. It was fun to watch her work.
We talked about her career on and off ships, her travels, all the good stuff. It was a pleasure. Great pod.
