TOTAL SCHMIDT SHOW
**TOTAL SCHMIDT SHOW**
Comedian Lenny Schmidt has spent nearly four decades making a living performing live. Comedy clubs, theaters, cruise ships, television, film—and more than a few rooms that probably should never have had a microphone.
On **Total Schmidt Show**, Lenny sits down with the people who know that life firsthand: comedians, musicians, singers, dancers, magicians, actors, writers, and other professional entertainers he meets while traveling the world.
Some you've heard of. Some you haven't.
That's kind of the point.
**Total Schmidt Show shines a light on the working live entertainer**—the people who built real careers getting onstage, doing the work, entertaining audiences, and figuring out how to make a living in show business.
They talk about the craft, the road, the good gigs, the horrible gigs, travel, money, failure, success, and all the weird shit that happens when performing for strangers becomes your actual job.
The show grew out of Lenny's pandemic podcast, **Quarantine Comedy**, where live performers talked about surviving a world in which live performance suddenly disappeared. Total Schmidt Show continues that conversation by focusing on the people who are still out there doing it.
**Laugh. Travel. Eat. Repeat.**

Hey! The Ireland episode will come in two parts , sort of.. the first part is a conversation with our tour guide Andrew Appleton. He was our go to guy for 8 days in Ireland. I didn't really understand what his job entailed until I saw it first hand. Had a blast as he showed us Ireland and talked about his history and the country. It really was fantastic. We talk about it all, His career on cruise ships, and his Voiceover career as well. Not an easy job, but he was spot on.
Part two will be next week and for subscribers at Mrlennyschmidt.com only. It's mostly the video from the entire 8 day trip. As well as Andrew at work. Join MrLennySchmidt.com for the full unedited episode, or watch edited clips @mrlennyschmidt on ther Youtube.
