Feeling stretched by a life that used to fit? We open season nine in our rebrand era with a candid look at what happens when you outgrow the version of yourself that once carried you. Instead of forcing strategies that no longer align, we share how a quiet month off social helped us hear clarity’s whisper and release an identity built in survival. The key insight: familiar isn’t the same as faithful, and safe isn’t the same as called.

We unpack a powerful frame through the story of Lot’s wife—less about punishment, more about attachment—and ask the questions that expose whether you’re staying for alignment or comfort. If fear left the room, would you lead differently, raise your standard, or stop shrinking? From language audits to environment upgrades, you’ll learn how words shape identity, why growth suffocates in small rooms, and how to navigate relationships that prefer the “old you.” We lean into a truth many high-capacity women know: vulnerability is not weakness; it’s alignment.

To move from reflection to action, we map five intentional shifts: reframe risk, audit your language, update your environment, seek clarity over applause, and take one visible step. No dramatic leaps—just steady alignment that rebuilds confidence. We also introduce your new midweek reset rhythm and share refreshed resources: an updated site, a boutique that mirrors inner growth, and a personal rebrand quiz that points you toward the right path—foundation, clarity, or activation—so you stop guessing and start moving with purpose.

Ready to align who you are with where you’re going? Listen now, share this reset with an amiga who needs it, and take the personal rebrand quiz linked in the show notes. If this message resonates, subscribe, leave a review, and tell us the one visible step you’ll take this week.

Growth Calling You Higher

SPEAKER_00

There's a version of you that got you here, but she's not the one who's going to take you where you're going. And if you're honest, that realization can feel uncomfortable because who you were weren't. She survived, she built, she carried, she figured it all out. But now something feels tight, something feels stretched, something feels like it doesn't fit anymore. Amiga, that's not confusion. That's growth calling you higher. Okay, amiga, let's talk. There comes a moment when growth calls you higher and you're trying to figure it out all by yourself. You're evolving, you're questioning, you're rebuilding. And maybe you're wondering, what's that? Girls, I'm so glad you're here. Welcome to Extreme Rebrand, a Mommy on the Mission podcast, a space for women ready to heal, rebuild, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose. If you're ready for your next level, then I'm your girl. I'm Mariana, founder of Mommy on the Mission and creator of the Empower Her program. And I'm ready to meet you right where you are. So for your Captecito, and sit with me for a while. This is your Dantecito hour. Welcome to season nine, the rebrand era of Extreme Rebrand, a mommy on a mission podcast. Amiga, this is a new season, even for me, for mommy on a mission. And you might be wondering, why the refresh? Why the shift? Let me explain it this way. You know how our clothing style changes over time? When we were teenagers, we dressed one way in our 20s another. And now we dress with intention because we've lived, we've learned, we've grown. We're not trying to impress anymore, right? We're making statements. And that's what happened here. I didn't wake up trying to become someone new. I simply realized I had outgrown who I was operating as. You see, for almost two years, something felt off. No matter how I adjusted the messaging, no matter how I pitched it, it just never fully felt aligned. And then January came and I stepped away the entire month. No social media, no forcing content, no trying to fix strategy. I needed to sit at the feet of Jesus because clarity doesn't scream, it whispers. And during that month, I read about Lot's wife. So if you don't know the story about Lot and his wife, well, first of all, Lot is the nephew of Abraham. And Abraham noticed that both of their families were getting extremely large. And so he told his nephew Lot that, you know, he needed to go find land for himself. So whichever direction we went. So if Lot went left, Abraham was going to go right. If Lot went north, Abraham was going to go south. So he just said, choose where you're going, and I'm going to go the opposite way. Okay. And then one day, because they were so Lot ended up choosing Sodom and Gomorrah to go live. But Sodom and Gomorrah was just, I mean, they were just wrecking havoc. They were living their life the way they wanted to live it, recklessly and you know, just unruly and living their lives against according to what God wanted for them, right? And so God sent angels to let Lot and his family know that they needed to leave because he was going to end up destroying Sodom and Gomorrah. So one instruction that he gave was not to look back. But Lot's wife did look back. And that part there shook me. Not because of punishment, but because of attachment. She couldn't release what she was leaving. And so what happened to her was that God ended up turning her into a pillar of salt. And so I had to ask myself, where am I looking back? I realized I was speaking to the woman I used to be, the woman in crisis mode, the woman desperate for help, the woman surviving. And that assignment, that's for the nonprofit work that I do during the day. But mommy on a mission, that's completely different. That's not crisis coaching, that's clarity coaching. And the moment that I released that, oh my God, the creativity started to pour back, the ideas started to flow, the messages became clearer. And I wasn't speaking from survival mode anymore. I was speaking from stability. I wasn't speaking from desperation. I was speaking from discernment. And I bet right now, for some of you, I mean, I bet that hit you hard. Almost like that gut punch, right? Like that hard pill to swallow. It's okay. Just take a deep breath. Because this isn't judgment, this is love, this is a heart check, you know, like when you touch a pulse and feel it, right? And and that's something that I had to have for myself. Because, like I said, for almost two years, I was still operating from survival mode. Not because I was broken, but because survival mode was familiar, and familiar feels safe. But safe is not the same as called. Vulnerability feels like weakness when you've built your identity on being strong. But vulnerability isn't weakness, it's alignment. So, okay, so as you can see, we're no longer airing on Saturdays at 8 a.m., which I will be, but that's gonna be more for you know, that conversation moments where we're gonna take our time and just sit and have our cafecito, right? This here, this is your midweek reset. This is going to be in the middle of the week, Wednesday, you know, and this is going to be that moment where you're already like, oh my God, I wish it were Friday, I wish it were Friday, right? And so this is gonna be your little pick-me-up. And so again, here's your midweek reset. If you feel like it might be time for your own personal rebrand, then I don't want you to sit with these questions. I don't want you to rush them, I just want you to sit with them. All right, number one, what are you afraid to change? Is it your comfort? Is it your job? Is it your title? Your income, maybe, or your reputation? Or are you afraid to explore because exploring might confirm you've outgrown where you are? Number two, are you staying because it's aligned or because it's comfortable? Comfort can look like stability, but sometimes comfort is just familiarity dressed up as wisdom, and familiarity to feel safe. If fear wasn't in the room, what would you explore? Would you pivot? Would you lead differently? Would you raise your standard? Would you stop shrinking? Fear doesn't always mean stop. Sometimes fear means stretch, right? Sometimes we have to stretch ourselves. So how many of you like when you go work out and stuff, and then you start stretching and you're like, oh, I can feel that, I can feel that. But oh my god, doesn't it feel so good? Well, exploring can feel that way too, right? Number four, does your current season reflect who you are today or who you were five years ago? See, growth requires updates, and updates require honesty. And let me say this clearly rebrand does not always mean quit your job, it doesn't mean blow up your life. Sometimes it means shifting how you lead within it, sometimes it means setting boundaries, sometimes it means showing up differently in the same room, but it always starts internally within yourself. So I'm going to give you five intentional shifts because if you're sensing the shift, then these are the five intentions that I or intentional shifts or steps that I want you to start exploring. Number one, stop asking, what if I fail? Instead, start asking, what if I stay the same? What if staying the same slowly erodes your confidence? What if stagnation becomes regret? Sometimes the bigger risk isn't failure, it's staying comfortable too long. Number two, audit your language. How do you introduce yourself? Are you still speaking from an old season like I was? Language reveals identity, and identity shapes direction. If your words don't match who you're becoming, you'll keep reinforcing who you used to be. Number three, update your environment. Growth suffocates in old rooms. That doesn't mean or it doesn't always mean you have to leave the job. Sometimes it means change the conversation, change the boundaries, stop shrinking yourself to fit. You can't expand while constantly minimizing yourself. Number four, seek clarity, not applause. Not everyone will understand your evolution. Some people benefit from the old you, some people don't like change, and you may lose people in your life. But clarity doesn't require approval. And if they're your true friends, they're going to applaud you. Clarity requires courage. And when you get clear, some people get uncomfortable. And that doesn't mean you're wrong, it means you've grown. And last one, number five, take one visible step. Rebrands don't begin with quitting, they begin with aligning one conversation, one boundary, one application, one honest decision. Not a leap, just a step. Momentum builds through consistent alignment, and alignment builds confidence. So I want you to be able to sit with those five things. And I want you to start thinking about where do I need to make the shift. Let me pray with you. Father God, thank you for growth. Thank you that we are not who we used to be. Give us courage to release outdated identities. Help us perceive the new thing you are doing. If we've been looking back, gently redirect our focus forward. We trust you in this rebrand era. In Jesus' name. Amen. Listen, Amiga, if today stirred something in you, I want to invite you to explore what we've refreshed. The website has been updated. The boutique, we now have a boutique. It's open with pieces that reflect this new era. Because you know what? Let's just be honest. Sometimes our outer expression should match the inner growth, right? And I recreated, I created a personal rebrand quiz. Why? Because Empower Her. I was trying to get it to be a one size fits all, but what I've come to realize is that it's not. We're all in different moments in our lives. And so now when you take the personal rebrand quiz, it's going to let you know which direction to go into. And that's going to help me better coach you because some of you need foundation, some need clarity, some need activation. And so the quiz will help you identify exactly where you are so that you can choose the path that fits this season. You don't have to guess, you just have to be honest. And you'll find everything linked in the show notes. This is season nine, the rebrand era. And I am so glad that you're here. And amiga, you're not behind, you're not late, you're becoming the woman God already sees. I'll meet you right here next Wednesday for your midweek reset. Hey, if this midweek reset spoke to you, share it with another amiga who needs a reminder. And if you're ready to take the next step in your personal rebrand, explore the Empower Her options and take the personal rebrand quiz. You'll find everything linked in the show notes. This isn't about fixing you, it's about aligning you. Amiga, you're not behind. You're not late. You're becoming the woman God already sees. I'll meet you right here next Wednesday for your midweek reset.
