February 14th is celebrated with gifts, candy, cards and flowers. This mid-winter festival honors St. Valentine, early Christian martyr of 269 AD.  Red hearts are given to loved ones and friends as expressions of love, romance and kindness. We pray for all people that the love of God - which knows no bounds - fills us with a renewed sense of loving kindness for one another.
