In this week’s Paige’s Perspective, Paige talks about why so many spouses and partners become consumed with trying to understand addiction, trauma, mental health, or someone else’s past while slowly losing themselves in the process.

This episode is not about judging people for having trauma or struggles. It is about recognizing that understanding someone does not mean excusing their behavior.

Paige talks about the difference between substances and behaviors, why so many people stay stuck waiting for someone else to change, and how easy it is to normalize things like manipulation, gaslighting, lying, broken trust, emotional immaturity, neglect, inconsistency, and chaos when you have been living in it for too long.

She also shares why focusing on yourself does not mean ignoring what is happening around you. You can work on yourself and still be honest about the fact that someone’s behavior is hurting you.

If you have ever questioned your instincts, minimized what you are living through, wondered if you are overreacting, or felt like you are disappearing in your relationship, this episode is for you.
