Welcome everyone. Welcome to the Ravensbrook. I am the Beacon Preacher. Of course, today we want to talk about peace, and I know I've talked about peace many times peace in the world but today we want to talk about our own peace, achieving peace within ourselves, how to gain that peace in the storms of chaos that surround us and the trials and tribulations that befall us? Where do we find the time, the space, the opportunity? How do we find that calmness? How do we do what we know in our heart we need to do? Today we learn that we know that peace comes from within. And today, well, we're going to talk about? We're going to talk about meditation. We're going to talk about everything from using crystals and stones to help us achieve that. We're going to talk about the vibration and frequency of sound that helps us in achieving that, because meditation meditation is about emptying our mind.

Speaker 1:

Some people will tell you what you need to focus on, something in particular, but you don't want to do that. What you want to do is not think of anything at all. You know when I start, when I think of meditation, what I think about is letting everything go, releasing everything, and the frequency that is around me is the most important for me. I use music to help me enter into that space within me and I'm going to try to help you do the same thing Mentally. When we're trying to achieve that space, that area of what, we're trying to calm ourselves down, whether it be a few minutes in our bedroom, maybe even be a few minutes in the shower, maybe all you have is some ear plugs in and you're laying on, you know, laying in your bed, you know you may just be laying on your back and your spouse might be watching TV and you just don't have the opportunity to do a full, full-edged meditation, and what I'm going to tell you is that you don't have to have that. Then I'm going to try to tell you and show you how to achieve those things, even in the middle of the storm. I don't know how many times that I have just been laying in bed, relaxing, closing my eyes, sometimes listening to a background.

Speaker 1:

Sound, no words, just sound, closing your eyes and understanding your breathing, focusing on your breathing, focusing on taking the breath in and pushing the breath out. The negative leaving your body and the positive coming in, feeling your body, healing and recharging from your head to your toes, thinking within your mind, nothing particular. What you see is a blank screen, a white screen, but nothing on it. You're looking at a pure white, blank screen as you focus on your breathing. You focus on healing, think healing, think relaxation. Think those things that you need the most peace, healing, anxiety, leaving your body, frequency. You know sounds. Sounds make a huge impact in our life. Start music.

Speaker 1:

Certain musics uplift us. Some musics get us in a more aggressive mood and some get us in a very relaxing mood. Some get us in a very serene, very open-hearted, and in that is when we learn the most from Spirit. That's why many people will tell you that the music you listen to does have an effect on you, and it does Not necessarily the words that are in the songs, but the spirit within the music, the vibrations that are within the music. They have an effect on you. Just like you know, I love the rain, I love the thunderstorms. How do you feel when it's raining and you hear that thunder outside? You know it's relaxing, isn't it? Sometimes the gentle rain can make everything seem so serene, so peaceful, but then, at the same time, other vibrations and other music does not get you in that relaxation mood, but rather it gets you up higher. And these are the things that we have to understand in order to find that peace within ourselves.

Speaker 1:

You know we're talking about leaving this world within us, if for just a few seconds, a few minutes, because I'm here to tell you that it makes a dramatic difference in your life If you can do this five minutes a day, anytime, like I said, in bed, in the shower. Obviously you can't do it going down the road, because you have to keep your eyes on the road, but somewhere, somehow, even if it's just going to the restroom for five minutes and closing your eyes and focused on your breathing, you don't have the music, that's fine, you can still do it, and the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Taking that breath in breath, you'll find, is the key thing to peace and relaxation and getting rid of anxiety. But will you have the power to release it? But we as human beings have a tendency to want to hold on to things, we want to worry about things, we want to focus too much on things and too much energy and, honestly, there's things in this life that, no matter how hard we try, we can't change. That there's truly nothing that we can do within ourselves to change anything. That all we can do is what we can do and we have to be at peace with that. We can't help everybody and we can't fix every situation.

Speaker 1:

Carrying different stones, crystals and different precious semi-gimstones, I believe, can help every situation. And you say, well, how does a stone, how do these things work? We know our bodies are made from the elements of Mother Earth and the stones and the crystals, they too are made from the elements of the earth. Certain stones carry certain vibrations. Some, like quartz crystals, can even amplify energy, can actually hold a memory of energy. They use these amplifiers and but something you know it had, as we were created from the bosom of Mother Earth, these things were too. And sometimes, when we lack something within our bodies, we can find that in the stone. We can find what it is that we lack. We can find what it is that we need help with or a boost with, you know, and those stones help. Do you know any stones? Do you know the different? You know the different stones that can help, like rose quartz.

Speaker 1:

Rose quartz is amazing for self-love. You know a lot of people say, well, it's just a stone for love and relationships and things and I don't personally believe that's the case. But we all need self-love. All of us do. Many of us on this planet have been told by different religions and things that we have to constantly humble ourselves and acknowledge the fact that we are nothing. That self-love is something that's just not talked about. But here to know that. You know, you cannot truly love anyone else until we can learn to love ourselves first and to be honest with ourselves.

Speaker 1:

But there's so many different stones that we can carry for peace. Not only rose quartz, but amethyst is an amazing stone. Black tourmaline, black obsidian are excellent for removing and protecting us from negative energies. You say well, how do I carry these things? Well, you can make them into jewelry. You can wear them as you know a necklace or a bracelet. I've seen it done many different ways. A lot of people will take their stones and put them in a little bag, like a little medicine bag or a little, or in their purse or in their. Some people carry them in their cars. It really doesn't matter how you carry them. It's just the fact that you do carry them and that you understand the energies within them, to understand that some stones need to be cleaned, some stones need to be charged and some stones don't need any of that at all. And these are all things that we're going to learn this podcast. This is a very basic understanding of how to achieve this peace in meditation, because a lot of this podcast that I'm, you know, the Spirit is trying to teach today is about meditation and achieving peace within our meditation, because we need that peace.

Speaker 1:

I see people all the time so stressed in their life wondering how they can make things better. And you know it's number one we can find a way to give ourselves peace that we can stop the battle. We can stop the war within this world and our lives. Give just a few minutes and take that breath and believe that things will get better. Vibrations are so important to remember. How do you feel when you hear a beautiful piano? Most people can feel it within their spirit. We can feel so many things that we can't really understand, we can't really interpret, but when we hear different sounds, we feel certain ways.

Speaker 1:

It is vitally important that if we're going to keep peace within our lives, that we know how sounds affect us, how music affects us, and we try to steer away from the things that take us away from the peace that we want. We may like the music, but does it give us peace? Does it exhaust us within? These are the things that we have to understand when we become enlightened, when we start to see truth for what it is, that there are things in this world that want to keep you from that peace. As you start to focus on things like the stones and you start to look within yourself. You know, I believe last podcast we talked about visualization and knowing the power that's within you and being able to harness that power through belief and trusting in yourself. And today it's about peace within yourself, being able to take that time and calm yourself in the middle of the storm.

Speaker 1:

You know, if you've ever been into a metaphysical shop, most of the owners hopefully they're somewhat educated on what they're selling will kind of tell you that pick the stones that you feel drawn to, that speak to you. They know we're not talking about an audible voice, we're talking about a drawing. You know you can feel it. You're drawn to certain things. You know I was always drawn to amethyst and terminating. I love clear quartz and terminating, you know, like terminated quartz, I love fluorite. Green fluorite is a beautiful stone and a very peaceful stone. Lapis can be a very good stone that opens our mind. There are so many and there's so many different books out there and I can't. There's no way that I can list every stone on here without taking just hours and hours. But if there is a question that somebody has, I urge you to send us a message. Speaker 1:

What does spirit have for me? How do I get out of this rut that I feel like I'm in? How do I get on the path that I feel like I should be on? And how did I get here? Those are questions that we face every day and there's an answer. But we find those answers in that time of peace and that's why it's imperative that we learn how to achieve and where to find that peace. And it's within you, because the Kingdom of Spirit is within you. That means that thing that gives you life, that thing that gives the very essence of your consciousness, is within you. We have to tame the flesh in order to allow spirit to rise, allow spirit to speak. That's why I talk about a blank screen, completely blank white screen, nothing on it, and that allows spirit to put on that screen what spirit wants you to see, what spirit wants you to understand.

Speaker 1:

In your time of meditation, spirit will tell you exactly what it is that you need from within you Listen, focus. At first it might just be glimpses, split second, pictures, but this you may smell a smell. Spirit a lot of times uses these things to stir memories and to stir different feelings and emotions. And I know I'm kind of gone here and over there. You know this. Like I said, I don't organize these things. Perhaps I should, maybe I will at one time, but right now I've just let spirit flow and in this whole podcast, if you take anything from this, it's how to achieve that peace, understanding that stones and crystals do work. They can help. There's many books out there, there's many things online and most of them are pretty good and frequency of sound.

Speaker 1:

When you do these different things, you know, toward the end of this I want to just do a light meditation, just a very quick overview of kind of what you're going to do and what I want you to do is, wherever you are, if you can, if not, just maybe hit stop and replay the next 10 minutes at home or whenever you can, but I want you to go somewhere quiet or have a headset on and have your background music that's on. That makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Remember, no words. We don't want words in the music, just background music. And what I want you to do is I want you to close your eyes and I want you to take in that first deep breath, and I want you to take it in and hold it for a couple of seconds. And as you're holding this for a couple of seconds, I want you to imagine or focus on a line that is above your head and as you breathe out, the line moves down.

Speaker 1:

Now, this line is your stress level. Stress levels appear, but every time you take that breath in and you push that breath out, that level goes down. And as that level goes down, you can feel each and every muscle, because we're going to start on this visualization. We're going to start with our head and our shoulders and as you do this, as you take each breath, move down to another section of your body. You know, we take in that deep breath, we excel. We're imagining a stress level going down. We started with the head and now we're moving to the shoulders. We watch that level go down. We move to the chest.

Speaker 1:

We can, even as we grow, we can understand colors of healing and we can visualize this color manifesting through our body and healing, this beautiful indigo color, healing all the way through different colors, you know, for different people, and it depends on what type of healing that you're looking for, whether it be emotional healing, a physical healing, a mental or social issue that's happening within your life. But we can push those things out of us. We can give our body that chance to heal by eliminating all these things within our mind. And for that five minutes, that 10 minutes of whatever you're doing it, for it doesn't have to be very long, because when you begin to do these things and you become better at what you're doing, you start to understand what works and what doesn't. You begin to understand what works best for you. But you're breathing. I love to sometimes carry our rose quartz when you're doing that and always remember this. And I know, like I said, I know we've gone a little bit of here and there, but you can kind of go over this podcast and remember different things and learn different things.

Speaker 1:

But when you're trying to pull something from a specific stone, always use your non dominant hand, means don't use the hand that you write with. Most people write with their right hands. So when you are trying to draw the energy from a stone, you draw it from your left and you push out with your right. So when you were trying to manifest peace within yourself and you're using these stones, remember to number one make sure the stone is cleansed. Some people pull it pushing under cold water, some people will use sage, different incense, but we visualize these stones being cleansed. The negative energy is leaving. You know we can charge these stones too and you remember what I said we push out with our right hand, or dominant hand, because we're pulling in with our left. When you're pushing out after your stone has been cleansed, focus that intent on what it is that you need that stone to do. Does it bring you peace? Is it bring you love? Is it courage? Whatever it is? See that leaving your body and entering that stone. Imagine in that stone just collecting all the energy for you to use later on. And then later on you take and you push that. You take that hand and put it in your left hand. I'll spin it out and then everything that you just put into that stone you can pull right back into yourself at a later time.

Speaker 1:

This is how we do things and I know these are very basic, elementary beginnings okay, but this is where we start. Stones and crystals do work. Vibrations have an effect on us. We need peace in our life.

Speaker 1:

When we begin talking about magic and miracles and power, we need to have our emotions where they need to be. We need to be stable. We need to learn how to control our emotions, and breathing is an important aspect in that To know, when we get upset or we get riled up, when someone angers us, that we don't do foolish things and use magic or our inner power to do harm to others because we were emotionally unstable or we were. But we want to be able to take that breath in and understand how to find that peace real fast, how to be the better person. These are all the things that we learn in these podcasts that will help us to be the better wiser most. How do you really want to word that you know the best we can be Honorable and strong and wise.
