Honesty with Our Heavenly Father

There is arguably no more formative relationship in a person's life than with their father. For better or worse, our sense of security, provision, and protection often comes from this relationship. In the Bible, God is frequently referred to as our "Heavenly Father," and unlike His earthly counterparts, He is perfect in every way, in His love, discipline, and provisions. He is also always available and always faithful. And He invites us to come to Him often and honestly. He delights in our dependence upon Him.
