GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

How are you Ben? How are you doing today?

Ben:

I'm doing well, Jean yourself.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Good. Good. What's what's new in the world?

Ben:

We got a few serious topics and a few not so serious topics.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

All right.

Ben:

The we'll start not serious that video you sent me from smarter every day.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah,

Ben:

That was pretty cool.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

it's, I mean, this is definitely like nerds at their peak. The video we're referencing is Smarter Every Day. The video about two bullets hitting each other mid flight. Exactly, perfectly head on and effectively canceling out the momentum on both sides.

Ben:

Yeah, they did a few things to set themselves up for failure on that though. If you didn't notice because they were too obsessed with safety.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. I mean, I, my, my comment to them, the video was why don't you just hire a couple of gunslingers and have them do it. But what, what, what did you notice?

Ben:

So they had, excuse me, I'm kind of losing my voice here. They had the guns on a one degree offset so that they, because they were worried about destroying the guns or having a miss and the bullet hit, but that one degree offset means that. They were never hitting perfectly head on. So that that was 1 of the issues that they had. The other issue that they had was their cartridge selection, especially in the beginning when they were doing a shorter cartridge, but not adjusting the chamber. That was a big problem.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I didn't even know you could do that.

Ben:

You can, but you're A, destroying the firearm and B, going to have shit accuracy.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's what I thought. I was like, it's not going to fuck up the firearm itself. Forget about the bullets acting on the accuracy. That's just not good for the firearm.

Ben:

Yeah, no. Cause you have a projectile slamming into the chamber as it's going, you know, instead of being in the chamber and engaged with the rifling and going down.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

right. Right. Although to be fair every revolver works that way.

Ben:

Yes, but every revolver is meant to be a short distance gun. And it's just different because the chamber is actually in the cylinder and it's just slightly different in the way it goes,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

in fact, there's even more potential for an accuracy because the tolerance on the cylinder itself has to be perfect.

Ben:

And you've got a gap between the cylinder and the barrel and lots of things. Yeah,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Although I have to

Ben:

revolvers.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I'm not a fan either, but mostly because the cleaning, cleaning revolvers is way more work than

Ben:

well, and very required to,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, although I will say that... When I used to shoot a revolver, it was probably my most accurate gun. I mean, that thing was a, it was a one hole driller.

Ben:

Interesting.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Anyway, yeah, that was an interesting video. I thought you were gonna talk about the bug juggle video.

Ben:

Oh, that one was just

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

There needed to be a lot more than that. That was too short.

Ben:

Yeah I did put it out on the agenda social and it's already getting some commentary, but my favorite comment is too many cheeseburgers

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm-hmm.

Ben:

and, you know, to me, this is that kind of video. That is just just a woman looking for attention that. It like, this is not even content. This is not something good. This is not something interesting. It's just, here, I'm gonna shoot a gun and watch my ass. J

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Ben:

it's ridiculous.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

a lot of guys like that. Big ass. It seems to be a lot more in these days than it was 20 or 30 years ago.

Ben:

Mm.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I don't know I, where that taste influence came from, but I've been hearing a lot more, you know, girl doesn't have enough booty comments. I was like, what are you talking about? That's insane. Why do you want the big fat ass? That's crazy. I think it's a Kardashians thing, like way too many people are into that.

Ben:

Yeah. I guess I, it, it's not my thing. And I, I, I just, I, I just see someone who is trying way too hard to get attention and,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I don't care about that, whatever. I'd rather they get attention by shooting guns than get attention by taking their clothes off.

Ben:

Fair enough and cool, but still,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, no, I, I didn't have any concern about the, you know, my God, I can't believe this chick's doing this, whatever.

Ben:

Oh, I, I can totally believe she's doing it. That's not the point.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but I do think that her ass was, it's a great topic to open the show. Her ass was slightly disproportional to the rest of her body in a way that that goes

Ben:

saying she's slightly pear shaped.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, a little bit that goes beyond just having an hourglass figure. Like there, there is a certain thing as an ideal proportion empirically.

Ben:

is you don't have the top of the hourglass. It's just the bottom.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Right. And, but again going by today's standards, a lot of guys care a lot more about a chick's big ass than they do about her tits.

Ben:

Yeah. Gene at SirGeneSpeaks.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I, you're the one that brought it up and you're the one who sent me the video. They can send the comments right to you. I did get two emails, amazingly, because I, I bitched about never getting email on my other show

Ben:

Huh. Yeah, I meant to send one yesterday, but

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

did you, yeah, my

Ben:

Too lazy

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

two, two, two people sent the email, but here's the best part. And I'm going to post this.

Ben:

when I'm with

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

it I've redacted. No, no, none with CSB. Here's what's funny. So one guy sent it in and said, yeah, sorry, you know, to hear you're not getting emails or whatever. And I replied back and said, oh thank you. And I got a reply back from my message back to him immediately. That was a canned message auto replier that says I do not read emails. I've stopped using email circa 19, or sorry. Circa 2019 if you need to get a hold of me, please call or text. I'm like, fucker, I'm going to post that. Cause that, that is just too good. It's like a guy literally does not use email. And then he, he thought to resurrect his email to send one out, but then you can't reply back to him.

Ben:

that's

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

it's too funny. I still use email because of work shit. I have to say that. I do kind of feel like my main, my, my main company email address has just turned into a spam filter thing. It's like 80%, probably more than 90% spam, 10% actual emails. I care about,

Ben:

Yeah, my, my work email isn't that bad. My

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I've had it for 15 years.

Ben:

yeah, my, my Gmail that I've had for Jesus 20 years.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

000

Ben:

I'm like, I was a fairly early beta user Gmail. It's ridiculous the amount of spam and crap it gets like I'm normally, I try to be an inbox zero guy, but there's 100, 000 emails in my Gmail right now under it. I've got 116, 000 unread.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. I guess you went Mr. Zero box. I never claimed to be zero by

Ben:

my, my work inbox, I strive to be,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I do too actually, for my new work one. But

Ben:

just because I, I don't like the idea of missing things, you know,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, exactly. It's OCD. Jinx.

Ben:

so we, we lost we lost a profit

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Which one?

Ben:

that Kaczynski died.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yes, I mentioned, I posted that, didn't I? I thought I did.

Ben:

I don't know, I don't pay attention to what you

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What? Don't you read every damn thing I post? Nudge on social? There's only about 160 a day. Come on.

Ben:

exactly.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yes, I did notice last night Kaczynski, and I, in fact, my message, I tweeted about it as well. And I, I think I said Kaczynski did not kill himself.

Ben:

I don't think he did. I don't think there's a claim that he killed himself. He was 81.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He's a healthy 81

Ben:

I mean, he's been in jail for I don't know how many years, so I don't know how healthy he could possibly be, but

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

about 25. No, I

Ben:

in jail longer than that.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No. I remember when, before he was in jail, I'm not that old.

Ben:

Right. But the dude, the Unabomber was captured in the early nineties.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Like 92.

Ben:

Okay. So that would be

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

years.

Ben:

your math. Not great

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Roughly speaking,

Ben:

anyway.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but yeah, I remember I remember when they kept him there.

Ben:

Yeah. Anyone who hasn't read it. No one likes the methods that Kaczynski used to get attention, but I will say that his work deserves attention. Industrial society in the future you're living in today and he predicted many years ago.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm.

Ben:

he very much talks about the over socialized and under educated and what that will do to our society and. Welcome to today

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He was a very intelligent guy.

Ben:

very much Harvard professor.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, he was also the, the youngest professor at what the hell's that school in California? I'm blanking out. No the good one.

Ben:

uc, Irvine, Stanford.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

The good one, man. The good one. Yeah. That's the one. He was, I think like 22 or 23 when he became a professor there. Super, super smart dude, mathematician, and also was a part of the the, what were those experiments called? Man, I'm having an old man moment here. The the experiments that were done on students to to do to essentially get them engaged in activities that were immoral.

Ben:

okay. Yeah, you're talking about CIA

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But he was, he was participating in those experiments and he for like a year.

Ben:

The name of the experiment?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

trying to remember, man. I mean. Somebody would have to probably look it up and figure it out, but it was yeah, like it was the ones where you're, you're being told to torture somebody else.

Ben:

Yeah, you're talking about MK Ultra.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, no, he wasn't part of that.

Ben:

There's a lot of claims that he was, but okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

okay. Maybe it was not, but these were like legitimate experiments. Not, I'm not talking about the MK stuff, but in Harvard, they did a bunch of experiments back when he was a student there. In the sixties.

Ben:

involved in quite a few different psychological,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Yeah. Because he was apparently a very good student and like to participate in as much campus activities as possible, including volunteering for shit. And

Ben:

He was an overachiever, we'll say.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

he was a complete overachiever and as overachievers generally deserve, he got the shit beat out of him in this case by the CIA, though,

Ben:

Yeah it's anyway, it's sad to see that he's gone. I would encourage everyone to at least read industrial society in his future. When I say it's sad to see him gone, because I do think he predicted what we're going through today and was trying to stop it. Now, I don't agree with his methods. I haven't gone out and assassinated anyone, but you know, I, I can understand through his lens. What he was trying to do.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. And I do think that. I would have, I would have likely him amnesty due to the the psychological torture that he endured as part of those experiments.

Ben:

Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, you don't want to encourage people to go around sending bombs.

Ben:

No, I, and I think he did. I'm not saying

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but I, I think that

Ben:

or, you know, pardon, even if given the ability because he did commit a crime and he needs to be punished.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, but what do you do with people that are you know, severely abused, tortured,

Ben:

right. But what

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

then as a result of that,

Ben:

Publish his work and advocate for it and let his work speak instead of, you know, bombing people the way, do you know how they caught him?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. It was his brother or

Ben:

His brother recognized his handwriting.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

right. Yep. Yep. Which just goes to show you that if you want to go off the grid. Learn to start using your other hand for everything written.

Ben:

But how, how intelligent was he that he was able to avoid detection until his brother happened to see the handwriting and recognize it.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, but he was in the middle of nowhere. I mean, he was avoiding detection by living out in the cabin in the woods.

Ben:

But while still sending explosives, like. He didn't just stay in a cabin. He didn't just send it from the same post office, obviously. And, you know, he, he had a method for doing this. That

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He did. He was a smart guy. We, we, yeah,

Ben:

catch him

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, absolutely. I mean, he was obviously a smart guy just a slightly deranged smart guy.

Ben:

indeed.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But yeah, I, I suspect that he very well may have ended up more in the Jordan Peterson side of the equation had his brain not been fucked with. When he was young, he would have been a, you know, a liberal college professor who actually was a true liberal, not a fake liberal.

Ben:

Agreed. Although he did write about people like Peterson being used by the machine, even though they don't think they are.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah,

Ben:

Which, since he died, there's been plenty of memes of that going around.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, yeah, I, it's an interesting thing because the history of humanity is the history of brutality. The, the winner gets to write history. And so everything is seen as a, for the good of something, every, every action done by any country, if you read their history was done for the good of somebody that includes communism and includes, you know, everything. If you read their history written by the victors, there was always a very clear, logical rationale for doing what they did.

Ben:

Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Even when you go back to Vlad Tepic Dracula. You know, it totally makes sense. He was confronting the invaders. Mm hmm.

Ben:

You know, speaking of which, there was a meme that I saw, and I went, What? That can't be true. And it said, the... The meme was it said every military on earth combined has 133 million guns. American civilians own 400 million guns.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

hmm.

Ben:

I was that the statistic cannot be correct. And

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Wait, how many do American civilians own?

Ben:

400, around 400 million

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That sounds about right.

Ben:

that does. But the, the militaries of the world combined only own 133 million guns

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's higher than I would have expected.

Ben:

really why?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You look at the biggest military in China, they're not gonna provide more than two guns per person. And that's only three million.

Ben:

Right?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

The U. S. has a smaller military than that.

Ben:

Anyway, it's just interesting because it really does show you the effectiveness of the 2nd amendment as a deterrent.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Absolutely. Yes. If... If people were to actually unite in a cause,

Ben:

Correct? Yeah, it does require

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

there's, there's nothing that could stand in the way, absolutely.

Ben:

you know, that's where, you know, if you have a just enough cause,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

people united in the cause of taking over Mexico, Mexico would be part of the United States within six months.

Ben:

I don't even think it would take that long. But anyway, I just thought it was a great way of showing. You know, anyone who says, Oh, what do you think you're going to stop the government?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm.

Ben:

Let's assume the entirety of the military decided they're against us.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm.

Ben:

Barring, you know, fighter jets and everything else. Yeah, absolutely. The civilians win. And I would say that in a guerrilla warfare, the U. S. military has shown in an aptitude for, you know, 50 years. You know,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

There's, there's a very easy reason that a civilians would win if civilians United. And that is that every person in the military has a family. So anybody that wants to shoot Americans, it loses their family. It's that simple.

Ben:

Not even going there.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Cause if you're going to fight, you better win. Otherwise don't fight.

Ben:

I agree, which you know, we're getting,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Speaking of fighting, what about Carrie Lake's comment? Hmm.

Ben:

Yeah, so Carrie Lake nuked her political career,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's, that was my thought.

Ben:

In many ways, but at the same time, it's a sentiment. I wholeheartedly agree with

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I don't. And I'll tell you why. It's not because I dislike Trump. It's because I don't. Think that there ought to be any man that you're willing to die for. I think principle is the only thing worth dying for.

Ben:

and that's why I would agree with it. Because in principle, I don't think that that there's any way in hell that we should allow this to continue in a way that. It looks like it's going to Trump has already said that he will not be detained, which was interesting language.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So he will be then

Ben:

I don't know. If he stands up and says, no, I'm not, what are they going to do?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

they're going to arrest him. They're going to,

Ben:

is the secret service going to allow that?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, they can't not allow it. The secret service is not a some kind of above the law unit. The secret service Ultimately rolls up to the president. It's a

Ben:

Yeah. Anyway, I think if Trump wants to say, don't let them arrest me, there will be plenty of his supporters.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh yeah. I, I think, I think this is, they're playing out the exact thing that everybody was predicting was going to happen, which is the surest way of making sure Trump doesn't run is to make him a felon and in court. Right before the

Ben:

from prison,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, that would be hilarious. I would give you that. I, I just, I think there's too many, this is again, this goes back to the problem with Trump running is that

Ben:

dude, the, the normies in my life think that what the Democrats are doing is ridiculous.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay. We'll see. We'll see.

Ben:

Like, like seriously. So one of the guys I work with, he, he lives in Colorado. He's, he's pretty blue. His daughter uses they them pronouns.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh my God.

Ben:

Yeah. And he thinks

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So he's a woman. He's not a man. So he's a woman, not a man. Letting your daughter do that. That's not a man. I

Ben:

regardless, he, he actually has a pretty good take on it in that pretty blue. Not into any gender affirming care or anything like that, but he's willing to let them rebel and come to their own conclusions. But,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

mean, letting her rebel and come to her own conclusions.

Ben:

regardless, if you, you know, he's willing to say, okay, kiddo, you can do whatever and he uses kiddo, which is why I said it, even though I can't stand that, you know, and anyway, the point is. Very politically, not a conservative guy, not a Trump

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. It sounds like it.

Ben:

thinks that what the Democrats are doing will make Trump win.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

And that's exactly, you're making my point for me. You're literally making my point for me because he will not vote for Trump. He's afraid this is going to make Trump win. And therefore he's going to make sure that he votes and all his buddies vote. Because if they don't, Trump will win.

Ben:

No, actually, I think that he thinks I, I, I will ask him next time I see him, but I bet money he will vote for Trump over Biden at

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay, yeah, yes, because I, I suspect the opposite. I think that this is, they can think that what the Democrats are doing is stupid because it's helping the Republicans make their point. But it doesn't make them want to vote for Trump. It just means that they think the current

Ben:

No, I think the Biden economy makes them want to vote for Trump.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You know, I think people have gotten used to this. That's the impression I'm getting from the normies myself.

Ben:

no, not at all. I think a lot of people are losing their jobs. There were hellacious

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

really, I don't know anybody that's losing their jobs. I know a lot of people that got raises recently because the cost of living and there's a much higher and therefore companies are giving like 15% raises.

Ben:

yeah, so a company I used to work for and it's bigger, biggest competitor, their competitor laid off a 3rd of their workforce and the company I used to work for laid off 10% of their workforce.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Amazon's Had a bunch of little, a lot of companies are laying people off, but I don't want to confuse cost cutting with desperate measures because a lot of companies got fat during COVID because of all the free money. That once the free money ran out, they're starting to realize that they have a bunch of people that they don't need. And I, I think the most extreme version that you and I have talked about is Elon Musk getting rid of 90%, 9 0 of Twitter employees.

Ben:

yeah anyway it's that, but these are also startups that have capital market collapse going on boomers pulling their money out of the economy, things like that. But. Are long term issues. That's not just a free money thing. And what you see is, and what we, what I see in my job and what I see around the manufacturing bases and everything else is a general slowing in the economy. 1 of the things you have to remember is I have, you know, a eye into widget manufacturer, whatever empty squats budget in you know, I, I see a general slowing. Of the economy, and it's hitting manufacturers and Petrochem 1st, where they're pulling things back or waiting till later on next year. And I see a

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I thought the petrochems were all just going to start selling oil to Europe. Now that they need to oil there.

Ben:

They are, there's a shipping issue and, you know, but. Generally, as the economy slows down and manufacturing slows down means you need less lubricants, you need less this, you need less that. So

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He said less lubricants.

Ben:

In any manufacturing process, lubricants are an important part of it. You okay. Be this.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I can't believe that shit's back on TV. That was around when I was a teenager.

Ben:

That's exactly why it's back on TV because you know, it's playing to the Gen X or nostalgia. I

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It's totally doing that.

Ben:

mean, we did that for, we did that for the boomers with that 70 show and stuff like that. And now it's,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I never watched that. Did you watch that?

Ben:

partially,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. I mean,

Ben:

I am very much in line with red.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Which means what?

Ben:

He's the dad

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh,

Ben:

and definitely. Come on, dumb ass kind of guy.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Got it. Now, I mean, I'm a big, you know, Kunis fan, obviously, but I don't...

Ben:

I was way more into Donna.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Real. The lesbian chick.

Ben:

The redhead

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. It's not a real redhead, but yeah. Interesting. Interesting. Okay. She always kind of seemed to me like one of those husky gals.

Ben:

Don't care.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay. Alright. I like him. I like the spinners, man.

Ben:

I like boobs on a butt, not like the, not like the gunshot video, but you know. Proportional hourglass, not,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I like the cute little Ukrainian girls.

Ben:

Yeah so you sent

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, did we lose Ben?

Ben:

hello.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

is, oh yeah, we lost you there for a sec.

Ben:

What happened?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I don't know. Did you see just the spirit?

Ben:

Okay less. Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He said, you

Ben:

Oh, I, I said, you sent me a Lauren.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, did you watch it? Oh wow, you're down again. Dude, this is not good.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, you're like dropping out. Weird. Wonder what's going on.

Ben:

I have no idea. I have got good bandwidth.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

is there a way to see packet loss in here somewhere? I don't even know.

Ben:

now that I'm aware of

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Hmm. Okay. Weird. Alright. We could try one. I did send you a link to a, a Lauren southern video. Yeah. Did you watch it?

Ben:

I did.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So she, she basically did another dump, emotional dump video. She did one about a year ago, maybe two years ago, where she talked about what happened to her, why she disappeared. Was stopped, you know, doing stuff with video and did a lot of, like, there's a lot of gross guys on the conservative side kind of stuff in that video, which is probably true. I mean, I, I think she would definitely know having been a acute 21 year old conservative chick, so pretty much. Any conservative YouTuber who's not married was trying to bang her. And maybe a few that were married as well. Also talked about the pay gap, or, you know, the fact that she was getting paid shit. And then this video, she came out to say that she's actually been divorced now for several years and had not mentioned that because she was maintaining her whole, you know, conservative Christian Image,

Ben:

Yeah, which, you know, I, I, I call bullshit on some of what she said.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

like what,

Ben:

That could just be my my tainted lens, if you will.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I don't know, I, I've always liked Lauren, I think she's probably certainly was one of the hottest dudes in Canada you know, she's a he,

Ben:

Hottest dudes in Canada.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah,

Ben:

She's not a he, she has a kid.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

She, she does have a kid, but her driver's license in Canada says male.

Ben:

Oh, because yes, she did the, yeah. Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

she did the official Canadian gender swap and not sex swap, gender swap. So I always love that. I mean, I think it's hilarious that, that, you know, she is she's a he. Anyway There's a lot of her content. I've certainly watched her since

Ben:

Oh, come on now, Jean. She's the real reason why you like her is because she's a white nationalist.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Not any longer. I mean if you have you seen her hair she used to be she had that beautiful long blonde hair Which

Ben:

I'm referring to like the, the Afrikaner video that she did and things like that.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

She yeah, which is absolutely true If you look at what's happening in South Africa

Ben:

disagree, but I'm saying how the left portrays them.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

of course, but the left portrays everybody is Essentially that, but it was easier with her because she, she looked like a pro white person.

Ben:

yeah, it did take me down the nostalgia of what rebel media used to be. And you know, like, what's her name? Goldie, whatever.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah.

Ben:

Yeah, whatever

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

were paying all these checks like a 50 bucks a story. I mean, they were, they were making nothing back then.

Ben:

Yeah. Kate Golding or whatever.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Hmm.

Ben:

Anyway, in the video, she talked about meeting with Peterson and just don't lie. And, you know, I, but I

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Amazingly good advice.

Ben:

I mean, simple, but yes, agreed.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. I think it's generally good advice because it's simpler.

Ben:

Yeah, it is. And

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

to spend a lot of effort to have a lie that, that works. You don't want to get caught in the lie. It is work. Do that. And, you know, while that may be necessary sometimes or fun at other times, it's generally an extra load that most people don't want to have to deal with.

Ben:

yeah I, I agree. It, and it takes a bit to stand on your principles and to say, yeah, no, I don't care. Whether you like this or not, this is what the truth is. That is difficult, but I can tell you from my own personal experience, the times when I've tried to avoid a fight by, you know, yeah. A little white lie or, you know, not just saying, yeah, no, I know you're going to be pissed about this, but here it is. It's always turned out worse.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm. That's because you forget to do the effort later to keep it going. That's the, I think, the issue.

Ben:

And if you're not a practice liar, which I am not, then yeah, it becomes pretty nigh impossible pretty

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah.

Ben:

quick. So

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I'm super lazy, so I can't be bothered. So I've never lied. But I can see how for most people, it's, it's something that they only do occasionally,

Ben:

I love how you just lied and saying that you've never lied.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What proof have you got? What

Ben:

you're human.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

what proof do you have for that?

Ben:

I've met you in

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What proof have you got for that?

Ben:

Anyway, so

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I've never seen a photo of the two of us together.

Ben:

I have a photo of the two of us together.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

far as people are, as far as people know, you're just a figment of my imagination.

Ben:

This is the AI known as Ben.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's right.

Ben:

I, I think that it was interesting because she sorry, I just got a text message. Yeah, no, I,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

just like a millennial. Great.

Ben:

I think that she misrepresents a handful of things. It sucks that her relationship went that way. It sucks that the threat of divorce was what it was, but you know, I, I, I just don't think she was necessarily fully genuine on representing her husband's interests. It seemed pretty couched in 1 sided to

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I think I'm on her side of this particular issue. Because I think, here's the problem I see. This, this idiot from Australia became infatuated with her and was willing to give up his life If he had an opportunity to create a life with her.

Ben:

which I,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

And he's an idiot.

Ben:

And

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

there's so many red flags around her, that no

Ben:

here's a red flag around what she said. She says he has a clearance and works for the feds, yet he's a cook,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah?

Ben:

so something doesn't add up here.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, she said that he had a job with a Clarence, that he did.

Ben:

But if you look him up and look at his background and bio, that doesn't seem to be true.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, you looked him up?

Ben:

Yes,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What's his name?

Ben:

I'd have to go back and look. You, you can Google. Her husband and he'll pop up, but he appears to be a chef and I, I see no evidence that he had a job where a clearance would have been needed.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay, that's fine. I

Ben:

So that seems like an interesting lie right there.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

you don't, you have no proof that's actually her husband.

Ben:

He's on Twitter saying it, it's linked their pictures of them together.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It's, so the guy on Twitter is saying that, hey, I'm just a cook? I mean, that, like, that makes no sense, so I, I would say there's probably some information that's missing here. Because, for her to come out to tell the truth, in the process of which to invent a new story for her, wow. You married an Asian dude? Really?

Ben:

Yep.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What the fuck's wrong with her? Gene at SirGenes. com. Oh, he's a Malaysian, okay. Yeah the Malaysians tend to be rich

Ben:

Dropping his wiki in the chat.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, okay. Cool. He's got a wiki? What kind of dude has a wiki, dude?

Ben:

Guy who married Lauren

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He's also 44, so he's like 30 years older than her.

Ben:

Mm.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Did, did

Ben:

Television.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean,

Ben:

So anyway, something doesn't add up here, is all I'm getting at, with what she has said.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

guess.

Ben:

I'm sorry.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It's probably not the right guy. That's the most likely scenario. Something definitely doesn't add up, I'll I'll agree with you on that. Not to have dead air what else, anything else interesting about that video? Thank you.

Ben:

No, we can, we can move on.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay. Got it. Got it.

Ben:

I've got some travel plans next week, by the way.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, okay.

Ben:

So next Sunday is going to be hard for

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

to move, move the show a little bit. Okay.

Ben:

Yeah, I'm you know, it's Father's Day. And then my my birthday is the 19th.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Nice.

Ben:

yeah,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

what you doing for your birthday?

Ben:

We're going to the beach. We're going to go spend a week at the beach.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, that's right. Yeah. You know, you're,

Ben:

Little family vacation

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

seems like a lot of people are taking that week for vacation. I think I know at least two other people that are doing that.

Ben:

It's, it's a, it's a good week because work wise afterwards, I'm going to be slammed for quite a while. So good to get in a little refresher period.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I, I'm a big advocate of that. I think I think that there's a, a lot of benefit the company gets from having employees take vacation.

Ben:

And I'm, I'm really bad about not taking vacation. Like I'll take a long weekend here or there, but I very rarely do I like I'm doing now take a whole week off. Now, the biggest problem I have is trying to choose what gun I want to buy myself for my birthday.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's a, always a tough, tough choice.

Ben:

Yeah, I think I'm going to get an,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

towards that seven, six, two,

Ben:

yeah, the, the AK that shoots 308,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Is

Ben:

if it wasn't 1, 300, I would 100% be buying one. Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

that what they are?

Ben:

Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. I, I think I've seen, yeah. Others of stuff. Is there right now? Same price range.

Ben:

I just can't justify that gun for what I want it for at 1, 300. You know, I, I don't think it's

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

to find any gun for under 1, 300 these days.

Ben:

depends on what you're

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

not, not a handgun, obviously, but I, you know, when I was looking at my variety of different calipers that I ended up purchasing, I think there was, there were two under a thousand dollars,

Ben:

Well,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

was between

Ben:

depending on what you're wanting you know, there, there are a lot of good guns under a thousand dollars. I would say that the Palmetto state third gen AR 10s are absolutely fantastic. And you can pick one of them up for seven, 800.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, but that's discount gun company.

Ben:

That makes some good stuff. You know, gen one was trash of that, but two got pretty damn good. And three, so I got to shoot all of them cause I've got friends. But when the gen three came out, I bought one. Shot at a bunch, liked it so much. I bought my dad one

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, yeah,

Ben:

and it's his favorite gun. Like he absolutely loves it.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, that's good and it's not to say that you can't have a good gun from a value discount type gun manufacturer. There's plenty of videos talking about like Bear Creek guns and stuff, which are kind of cheap AR platform guns also having some good guns.

Ben:

So I think in this,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

sorry, just to finish that thought you know, the guns that you're buying from Zastava are not, they're not like old Russian surplus.

Ben:

no, no, no. They're new manufacturer. They're high quality manufacturer. I fully understand that. It's just that for the purpose of having a AK in 308, I can't justify it. It's just too much. On that similar vein, though, I think I've settled on that. I'm going to get a 1911. I've had 1911 in the past, but I want a new 1 and looking at the price

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

than 1300 bucks.

Ben:

I'm sorry.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's gonna be more than 1300.

Ben:

No, it's

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Very decent one.

Ben:

No, it's not.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What are you getting?

Ben:

Also that's kind of what I'm trying to decide on what I want. So for instance, there's a Springfield just mil spec like issued for 600. There's a Kimber

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

go for like a Wilson

Ben:

That's going to be 2, 200 and I'm not going to do that.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Obviously.

Ben:

There's a Kimber that's around 650. That's pretty nice. There's some Springfields and stainless getting a little

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I do like the stainless look. I definitely have been a fan of that.

Ben:

Yeah. So

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

used to, I used to shoot for 1911, but, I just really think that their ergonomics for my hands just sucks. I don't like the grips on them. So

Ben:

It's just to it's an iconic firearm. So the one that I'm really leaning to, but I kind of on the fence about just because of the manufacturer, it's all stainless except for the grips, the grips are plastic, which I can change those out later if I want, but all stainless. nice sites, everything, and it's 629, but it's a Taurus.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

of all the cheap manufacturers, I like tourists.

Ben:

I've had really good luck with Taurus, so that's why I'm considering it, because it's got ambidextrous safety.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

go to wilsoncombat. com. They've got this X TAC. That is just beautiful gun. Holy shit. Now you got me thinking getting one.

Ben:

Yeah, you're gonna get the nice one.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, this looks so pretty.

Ben:

this income? Is it?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

the grip striping on it, the texture and the grip matches the texture on the gun. Oh, so pretty. Yeah. X tech. Oh, and it's discontinued. So it's on sale now for just over 3, 000.

Ben:

Just over 3, 000.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, that means it's limited edition is discontinued, but you know, those guns are very accurate. My dad used to have one of these when

Ben:

Wilson Combat makes fantastic everything. They are just, yes.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I was supposed to have inherited one of these. But my mom got in the way. I'm not gonna go into the whole incident, but yeah, that's inherited Maybe not the right word. My dad basically said You can shoot it, but I'm not gonna give it to you yet And then my mom's like what are you doing that for? He wants to shoot a gun let him buy his own Damn it. Mom shut the fuck up Sorry mom. I know you're dead and all but that was I was mad about that.

Ben:

And for those who don't know, one of the things about 1911s is they, they are not your polymer guns of today. They require fit and finish. And the fit and finish matters to the functioning of the firearm significantly. 1911.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Racking that gun was Felt like it was about 20 pounds. It was such a tight fit. I was like super tight tolerances. Mm hmm.

Ben:

And it's also why you have to clean it and why you have to take care of it. But what I've always loved about the 1911s this is not a gun you ever carry because I don't think any exposed. For, for concealed, at least any exposed hammer gun is not great for carry because you're going to get it lint in there. Something's going to, you know, it's just not something you want to do. But for a, a fun gun to shoot the beaver tail, I've always loved the way that mitigates recoil. I love the grip safety. I just, I love a good 1911.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It's a very pretty gun It is very iconic

Ben:

Two world wars.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But I just don't think it's a very good fit. I'll take my Springfield XD any day.

Ben:

Yeah. I, I, I mean the XDS is the gun I carry.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm-hmm.

Ben:

So I, I tend to agree with

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

wow. The 45th anniversary model is beautiful. Holy shit.

Ben:

Or

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Wow. Sorry, It's just, I'm, I'm, I'm watching gun porn right now while we're doing the recording.

Ben:

Yeah, so I just sent you the link to the 2 that I'm considering 1 is the stainless and 1 is just the blacked out version. Ironically, there's a 200 right around 120 dollar difference between

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

leaning towards?

Ben:

I really want the stainless. I

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Bud's got a pretty good price. Yeah. Get the stainless. Why not? Stainless looks really pretty. I've. I always thought that it'd be cool to get a nickel plated one as well. At some point,

Ben:

And, you know, there is some interesting ones on there. If you go to buds and look at 1911 some of the. Yeah. Turkish manufacturers have some interesting designs on them. That's pretty cool. You know, some pro Trump stuff for 45 and

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

a great gun industry.

Ben:

I've never owned a Turkish gun and the reviews I see are so mixed. I'm very hesitant.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I think it's, it's really about it's like China, right? So the quality control is going to be determined by the importer, not by the manufacturer. So if you want to get guns that are really good and made in Turkey, you have to go with the name brand where you know that they're going to have good QC. If you get

Ben:

I don't know Tassus, for example.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, I don't either.

Ben:

I don't know SDS, for example,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I

Ben:

SDS imports Tassus. So I.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

they have shittium to manufacturing quality control, but I don't know.

Ben:

But the reviews kind of tend to say somewhat otherwise,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Now, the one you're looking at here, the stainless is five inch, which I approve of. I'm a big fan of five inch guns,

Ben:

I'm, I'm gonna leave that joke on the table.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. You left it for a long time there, buddy. Yeah, I just, I, I always felt like the five inch barrel is so much better. It it's. It gives you not only better accuracy, but it balances the, the weight distribution on the gun much better than the short barrel because the gun is kind of rear end heavy on the 45.

Ben:

Yes.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

An 1811 model. So having that long barrel actually helps you to require, I think. So yeah, no, it's, it's a very pretty gun. I like it. Just, I know I would not like shooting it because the design of the 1911s grip with the spring inside the grip, just it, it makes the grip too long and it's not comfortable to hold.

Ben:

Yeah. I I, I guess with my hand size, it just fits my hand,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, it's totally a

Ben:

sent you the 45th president Donald Trump editioned one as well with the US border grips.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

oh, yeah, that's pretty. Did you click on that Wilson combat

Ben:

I did, it's gorgeous,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

that pretty? Yeah,

Ben:

probably outta my price range.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but would not want to Shoot it to get it dirty though. That's the problem with guns like that.

Ben:

Yeah, I'm not a collector.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, no, but like walnut grips. Oh So pretty

Ben:

So what else is going on?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, what else is going on? Let's see

Ben:

So I got to disagree with Adam on something.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay,

Ben:

Not really. But

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

that was

Ben:

so the whole airplane decompression over DC sonic boom,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Huh.

Ben:

them dispatching fighters the way they did. I don't know, man. There's just something about that. Now, you know,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I know very little about that incident, and I'm behind on my no agenda. I generally... If I don't listen to it live while it's streaming, then I, I'm usually like four weeks behind. Tell me the

Ben:

There was a Cessna private jet that, according to the official story,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm

Ben:

lost cabin pressure and pilot and co pilot pass out navigation. You know, auto nav does what it does and eventually crashes since it was an unresponsive aircraft. There were 2 fighter jets scrambled. There was a sonic boom because of the fighter jets. Racing to intercept this unresponsive aircraft around D. C. Yeah,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

hmm. Okay.

Ben:

and the official story is well,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Do we know what kind of plane it was?

Ben:

It was a Cessna little jet, whatever the Cessna little jet is.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Citation?

Ben:

Yes.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay. Not that little, though.

Ben:

Right, right. But again, they, the idea that the idea that they just lost cabin pressure and asphyxiated quickly so that they couldn't even put their masks on and so on, you know, Adam was saying something like 30 seconds. Oh, you're going to asphyxiate in 30 seconds. You can hold your breath longer than 30 seconds. That's not. How that works. So I, I, I don't buy this. Oh they didn't have time to put their masks on. They didn't do that. Maybe it happened slowly and they got hypoxic and they didn't understand or whatever. Okay. Maybe. But usually there's some alarms for that. The, the. The official story does not make sense to me.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay. And do we know anything about the people?

Ben:

I, I, I don't, I haven't been able to find a lot of information on it, but you know, they descended to 20, 000 feet. So it's not

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

are they flying at? 30.

Ben:

30 something. Yeah,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Cause I don't, I don't think the ceiling on the, on the citation is all that high.

Ben:

it's not super high, but it's, you know, high enough to require oxygen and pressurized cabin. But anyway, it just doesn't make sense to me that oh you know, this is something that pilots fear because it's you know, could just happen and you

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

And there was two people in the plane.

Ben:

There was there was a woman some kids and a pilot. If you look up the D. C. jet incident here,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

All right. I, I think Adam was first of all, he's been flying planes for like most of his life, but

Ben:

helicopters

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

he flew helicopters for I think a fairly short period of time, but he's been flying planes for a long time, but also not jets. He's never flown jets before. I think last time that I recall talking about this topic, he was wanting to get his jet certification. I don't know if that's happened already or not, but he's generally just flown private aviation you know, non jets.

Ben:

yeah, pilot of a unresponsive jet that crashed was seen slumped over and killed for right.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You might have had a heart attack because there's tons of medical reasons you could, you know,

Ben:

But the official story of this decompression just doesn't make sense to me. It's all I'm getting at and the fact that they scramble jets, which, because it did enter restricted airspace and so on and

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

know how old this particular citation was, but they generally have

Ben:

the, the citations have been known for decompression issues.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, but it, it has a sensor

Ben:

Yeah, exactly. As a result, there have been safety changes. So was this 1 up to date on its safety changes? Things like that. Who knows? But it went over. Restricted airspace and was intercepted by military aircraft

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm.

Ben:

and we are to believe that it just was allowed to crash

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

And where did it crash?

Ben:

somewhere in Virginia.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

How close to the city did it fly?

Ben:

Those details are are pretty sparse. Which is part of the problem here. It's, it's, it's, it just reminds me of 9 11 and the aircraft that was taken down in Pennsylvania. You know, I'm sorry. Let's roll is not a real thing. That plane was shot down. And at least that's my opinion. I don't know what's going on here. I, who knows? It could have been he had a heart attack or whatever, but if you're flying over restricted airspace and you get intercepted by a jet and, you know, Even if they see the pilot slumped over, they are going to assume hostile context. Right?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

hmm. I would think so. If so nobody was talking on the radio on that plane is what you're saying. Mm hmm. So it's a, so the, it looks like the plane was owned by the people that died. Yeah, I mean, I would have said like... Five, 10 years ago, I would have said they would have totally been shot down with this administration. I don't know, maybe not. I

Ben:

And to be clear, I'm not suggesting that the jet had any hostile intent or was trying to do something malicious. I, I don't know that we know enough to

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

mean, when they say flew over DC, maybe it flew by DC and not really over DC.

Ben:

I mean, they scrambled 2 jets from here's the other thing. Why didn't they scramble from the air force base in DC versus it? There's just lots. That doesn't make sense. it could just be missing details, but yeah

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

now to your point in a briefing later on Monday, Gerhard noted that the wreckage was so damaged that it is no longer distinguishable as an aircraft. That sounds like it was blown up.

Ben:

yeah,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

If there's no wreckage, it's probably not a crash because whenever you see planes crashing due to pilot incapacitation they're usually going pretty slow because the reason they crash is because they're.

Ben:

out of fuel.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No I guess it could be out of fuel. No, but I was going to say that they just stall, they, it gets to a stall speed and then crashes.

Ben:

But I mean, if we buy the official story that the pilot lost consciousness due to decompression and the autopilot was engaged and that's why it flew past DC and then came back to its waypoint and so on and so forth. If we buy that, the only way that plane crashes is because of it runs out of fuel.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm. Yeah. So it was at 3, 400 or 34, 000 feet.

Ben:

And then descended to 20, 000.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Last communication was was it, they tried to contact at 31, 000 feet. Oh, no. Interesting. So it was at 31, 000 feet and then it climbed to 34, 000 feet. Where it remained until it crashed. Yeah, it was shut out. It was definitely shut out. It's okay. Huh It dropped at the rate of 30, 000 feet per minute

Ben:

Yeah. Again, the, the issue I have with this is, I don't believe the government is telling the full side of the story. And again, it may just be totally innocent in that something happened to the pilot. The plane drifted into restricted airspace and they weren't answering calls and, you know, they shot him down. But my immediate question is, why not just say, Hey, this plane flew into restricted airspace. We're not exactly sure what happened and we were forced to shoot it down because, you know, Hey, we don't want another

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So in 1999, there's a Learjet that lost cabin pressure and then blew halfway across the country.

Ben:

11. Like,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So maybe they're just thinking the same thing happened

Ben:

okay. But what evidence do they have for that

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

because there was one previously. That's it. I don't think they're going to find any evidence because there's apparently no wreckage. So they're not likely and they're saying he didn't have a black box. I, I think that it would take a fairly lengthy depressurization to reduce the, the action level to the point where people are going to blank out.

Ben:

And, and, and that's just my point. And, you know, this idea that depersonalization happens and you immediately pass out is just, that's just not real.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

no, no. And, and

Ben:

And it kind of shocked me to hear Adam saying something, you know, like that

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

what did Adam say that that's likely or what do you

Ben:

yeah, I mean, his point was that you know, 30 seconds and you, you're out, you, you don't have time to put on a hood. They don't have rapid done masks and so on and so forth and. Hey, I, I just, I don't find that number commencing now, if it was a slow, you know, depressurization where you're not necessarily noticing and you're becoming hypoxic or instrumentation failure where, you know oxygen was not being put into the system and you're pressurized, you know, there are lots of different things here that could happen and maybe. I'm just saying that the story doesn't make sense. The profile of the crash doesn't make sense to what is being said. I think the plane was shot down. That's it

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Just shut down for a reason or not for no reason.

Ben:

because it was unresponsive and they flew into restricted airspace. Going any deeper on the

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

oh, I see what you're saying. Okay. So you're saying the plane went into restricted airspace and then it was shut down and now they're coming up with a rationale of why it crashed.

Ben:

Correct.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

The, the no wreckage definitely would agree with you.

Ben:

Yeah. And the fact that they don't just say, yeah, we shot this down or say, Hey, we shot down the plane in Pennsylvania.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah.

Ben:

just annoying.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I guess they're just trying not to, to avoid lawsuits maybe.

Ben:

Maybe, I don't know,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I don't mean if it was I have a hard time believing that a plane would get shot down That was communicating on the radio because they're

Ben:

but they weren't. That's

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but they weren't and that's but then that would be Absolutely, they should have shut it down.

Ben:

Exactly.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So that's

Ben:

more, the entire point here is it makes more sense to me that something happened on the plane. They were not responsive. The jets intercepted. They see the pilot slumped over or they don't whatever the pilots aren't responding. They try and make visual contact. They can't, whatever it is. And ultimately they get to a point of, okay, we're now in this airspace. What do we do? And, I guarantee you there are going to be procedures that say shoot it the fuck down.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You would know, being glowy and all.

Ben:

Ah, okay. Anyway, I,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I know you, you protest that. You know, just saying.

Ben:

I, I am as unglowy as possible, Gene.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What a glowy would say.

Ben:

Dude, I've never tried to get a security clearance because I've never wanted one. I've never wanted to work in

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You know, oddly enough, they don't give them to people that want them. I've tried.

Ben:

and here's the thing. I don't know if they were doing their job, there's no chance in hell I would get one.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm. That's right. At least you passed the initial test when you were on your trip.

Ben:

So what'd you think of the aliens story?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, I thought it was FUD.

Ben:

The fact that people are taking this so seriously is just insanity.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I know aliens

Ben:

have a high level, a high level intel agent telling us that this is true.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I think that that there are clearly things which are not being told to the general population. Now, whether that's alien tech or alien encounters or not really aliens, just a high tech that is still classified and secret that all makes sense. But to have aliens jogging around Vegas at night just does not make sense to me.

Ben:

And, you know, what I would say is when we look at the stealth program and the likelihood that a lot of the things that we're seeing around there were, you know, the stealth fighter or, you know, the B2 and I, I think that gets pretty high pretty quick.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, Vegas is right in the general vicinity of where the U. S. government does aircraft testing. If you're gonna see a cool, unusual plane that hasn't been seen before in Vegas, that's not an unusual occurrence. Vegas is also where the drones are run out of.

Ben:

yeah, Nevada

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah,

Ben:

and, you know, groom like, it just, Yes, Area 51 is a secret base. That doesn't mean aliens.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, I think they kinda enjoyed that, that whole alien,

Ben:

I think it's nothing but a cover story

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, exactly. For the, the hollow earth people, you're exactly right.

Ben:

Jesus

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Aliens is just a cover story.

Ben:

Huh. Huh. You've been watching the Y Files too much.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I love the white files. That is the best show on YouTube right now.

Ben:

Yeah, are you gonna build the mirror?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Sounds like it wouldn't be all that hard, man.

Ben:

Yeah, it sounds like it. And I, yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, it's a cool idea. I, you know, there, there

Ben:

For those who don't know, there was an episode this Thursday where they were talking about some of the mental ex men's steric, goat type experiments in Russia. And it was just interesting.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, there, there is it's not just the Russians, I mean, the, the Americans have been doing this just as long but there was definitely a lot more, like, I remember from the 70s, there was a lot more of these topics being taken very seriously

Ben:

in the seventies you had all the, you know, gurus and all that.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You do, you definitely had the gurus. And some of them even were around in the eighties, like the Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh but I just, it's hard to say because what we do know is that we don't know a lot about this topic, like not, not time travel, but the topic of, of how do we phrase it of psychic abilities, I guess, or extra, extra normal perception.

Ben:

S P.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Extrasensory perception. Yeah, just all these areas are, I think it's appropriate to doubt them as an initial condition, but, but I also think that there are a lot of things that we just scientifically and medically do not really truly yet know or understand that could be very obvious, simple explanations once we do understand them. But until we have those explanations, It's in the general area of, you know, witchcraft and religion. So it's a, it's an area that I, I think I like seeing exploration of. And I'm not going to just discount everything automatically and say it's all bullshit, but there is a lot of bullshit around it. That's for sure.

Ben:

Yeah, absolutely. But

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You ever been hypnotized?

Ben:

no, I've had people try.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, you have. Okay. Like, cause that was my second question is have you had anybody attempt to hypnotize you?

Ben:

Yeah, I've had professional hypnotists try and hypnotize me and it really you have to be willingly susceptible to it.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Some people, some people don't.

Ben:

Okay. You involuntary hypnotism for a percentage of the population is not possible. And I apparently fall into that category.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, that's interesting. Generally, people with a higher IQ are more susceptible to hypnosis.

Ben:

I disagree. I think it's the other way around

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What basis do you have to disagree on that?

Ben:

the people I've seen successfully hypnotized versus the ones I

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Okay you mean on TV?

Ben:

No, not just TV.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Where do you go where you got hypnotists running their trade?

Ben:

There was a whole thing when we

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

church?

Ben:

yeah a similar group.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay. Yeah, they're hypnotism has a lot to do with the brain's ability to to think about what's the, what's the technical phrase for the essentially like imagine conditions and circumstances, which don't actually exist. Which is also a quality that, that lower IQ people do not possess. It's it's like conceptual thought. Like your brain, the better the brain is at conceptual thought, the easier it is for a hypnotist to be able to hypnotize you.

Ben:

Maybe it's a personality trait then of being stubborn enough to not or something. I

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

it could be two. I mean, anybody who actively is not wanting to be hypnotized. He's going to make it way more difficult. Not necessarily impossible, but certainly way more difficult for, for somebody trying to hypnotize them. But self hypnosis is a good way for you to test whether or not that works for you and whether you were just resisting or whether you just,

Ben:

So how did we get on the hypnosis bandwagon

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

we always talked about hypnosis bandwagon. What do you mean? Oh,

Ben:

So I do have a couple other topics I want to discuss.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

okay. Sure.

Ben:

So I'm everybody's, you know, originally,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Can I just say there is no spoon? Go ahead.

Ben:

Matrix callback the, the whole target issue and people saying originally that, Oh, these bathing suits and marketing towards kids and all this. And then they backed off saying no, those are adult bathing suits, those are adult sizes. And the whole conservative movement has immediately shifted away from, Oh yeah, those bathing suits were are adult sizes.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

hmm. Mm hmm.

Ben:

They're adult sizes that come in a. Three X small,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm.

Ben:

no adult, normal adult is wearing a three X small.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I don't know anybody that's not wearing a, at least a 2XL. Okay.

Ben:

They have an adult line of bathing suits that come in sizes appropriate for a preteen.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, what does that mean, adult bathing suits? I don't know what that means.

Ben:

They're just adult sizes, but it comes in a triple X small. So the entire point I want to make here is everybody said, Oh it's just adult sizes of the bathing suits. The tuck friendly bathing suit wasn't for kids.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Bullshit.

Ben:

Three X. Small.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I mean, you could see it in the video, the original video that kind of launched this whole thing. You could see how small these damn bathing suits are. So they're obviously meant for kids.

Ben:

It just is shocking to me that even tell him, even Tim on, even Tim on Friday was saying that they were adult bathing suits and it. Okay. When you, when you look at the size chart, it's just not, that's not true. They're, they're, they're using a technicality to be able to say, oh, you're lying. This was a, you know, an adult swimsuit.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Does Target sell fake boobs?

Ben:

No. Not that I know of.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

should. Because

Ben:

Might as well.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

targeting that demographic, they certainly should. Make it a

Ben:

as well throw in some sex toys.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I mean the, the I'm, okay, there's plenty of things Target sells that could be used as sex toys. I guess they don't technically sell sex toys, but

Ben:

Hmm. Gene, what would you use?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

dude, back, back in the day. Target, you know, Target was a customer of mine many, many years. Yeah, they're I think target took a big financial hit as a result of this

Ben:

in the double digit billions on

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

15 billion was the last that I saw

Ben:

Yeah, that was a Friday. It was, I think, 17, but that's just market cap. So we'll see what their sales numbers are

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

the real hits going to be at the end of the quarter. Exactly. That's when the real hit should happen because the sales, not just people's feelings is what's going to affect that.

Ben:

What's shocking to me is tied into this is what's happened to Bud Light. I don't see how that brand survives. Like we're, we're going into a full quarter of over a 30% drop from last year.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, they're, they're just going to pivot it to a gay beer brand

Ben:

that's not working. The gay bars are pissed at them too, for not standing up for

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but they will stand up. I mean, that's, I think my prediction is that the company is going to. Go all in and say, look, there's no way we're going to resurrect this as a working man's brand. Let's make it a niche drink. And, and they'll come out with like Bud Light clear. And then people will be like, Oh my God, this is so awesome. And

Ben:

Bud Light Lime,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Bud Light lime. You got it all that

Ben:

they they've already got it.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Bud Light Mandarin, you know, just goofy ass flavors, and they're going to target people going to drag shows and you're going to have Bud Light sponsoring a bunch of drag shows. I think that'll be the end result. So they, they, they've killed off a brand, but they're not going to stop selling it or making it. I think they're just going to pivot it into becoming a niche brand.

Ben:

Yeah. But can they, can they do that and maintain the economies of scale that they have? I mean,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What? No, not obviously not. I mean, they're

Ben:

of the beer is going to go

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yes. Oh, absolutely. The, the price will go up and Bud Light will become more of a LaCroix. You know, when I was young LaCroix was like the shit bubbly water. It was because the good stuff comes from Italy or France. And even that stuff back then was like a buck 29 a bottle, but LaCroix was like the Wisconsin fake bubble brand. And right now, LaCroix and here in Texas along with Boca Chica or whatever the fuck they're called. Topo cheap, which is even who the fuck buys water imported from Mexico. What kind of fucking moron do you have to be

Ben:

I like Topachico,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Idiot zero IQ person to drink water from Mexico. Really? That's what we've gotten

Ben:

immunizing myself against Montezuma,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

my God. Okay. At least you came up with a rational reason. 99% of the people drinking Topo Chica do not conceive of that. They're like, oh yeah, Topo Chica is great. Like you dumb motherfucker. Oh, it's, it's horrible. So I think that that's what they're going to do with with Bud. I think they're going to repivot it into the only place that makes sense. The, if I was running that, that big beer conglomerate, that's definitely what I'd be telling my people to do is go figure out what we need to get done to transition Bud Light into the, the gayest beer on the planet. We want to be involved in every gay activity. And that will take pressure off their other

Ben:

internet, the internet already came up with their next ad campaign.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's true. There's

Ben:

you see the frogs?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, actually I didn't. What's the frog one? They're gay.

Ben:

remember the frog commercial from the 90s? Where it was Bud, Why, Zer, you know, and they changed it to, But, Fuck, Er,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But fucker. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's good.

Ben:

I was amused. I'm

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I'm sure you are.

Ben:

The 10 year old kid in me found it hilarious.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I, I've noticed probably half the shit you send me is from that 10 year old kid.

Ben:

Okay. And

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

no, I just think it's funny. I, cause it's like, you know, some of the stuff is absolutely like serious and like, look at this shit happening. We need to get our guns ready. And then. The other shit is completely like, you know, Beavis and Butthead.

Ben:

Hey, what can I say? I do have a childish sense of humor at times.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Which, yeah, it's fine. It's just that, when it's flip flopping back and forth, it's, it's extra funny. Buttfucker. But I, look, the, the dual income, no kids, and these days they have kids, but back in the day, they didn't used to have kids. Homosexual market was... A very nice cherry on top market because the, the family income of gay people is higher generally, or it used to be

Ben:

lot of straight couples that are going the dink route at this point. I mean, it's an entire thing.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

there are, they, we had one when I was growing up in the neighborhood, we had one family that was dual income, no kids, and they were the first to get a swimming pool. They were the first to have BMWs. It was just kind of like, yep, I can see where their money's going. And then I decided, yeah, I like this. I'm going to do that.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but there it's, it's traditionally, it's a smaller market, but it's definitely a market that is you know, it's a premium market

Ben:

They

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

and I, and I've tried, I've tried to get companies that I've consulted for to open up and focus on, on that market several times. Because I think if you're not selling, you're not targeting, you're not doing ads that are specifically for the gay demographic you're just leaving money on the table.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

but there's a difference between having, creating a niche brand to target a market that's not being currently served and taking a brand that is longstanding. Has well defined as well defined demographic

Ben:

Number one beer in the world.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

with beer, beer babes. And and then in the middle of that throwing in very very. Not just pro gay, but sort of anti straight messaging.

Ben:

Here's the thing. They could have had a pride ad. They could have done lots of things. Dylan Mulvaney is just nails on a chalkboard to a ton of people.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He's a parody. I think he's a parody to everybody. He's a parody to gay people. He's he doesn't he's he acts the way that sort of the, the grumpy straight religious nut in their view would see gay people like Dylan Malvini is the parody. For the conservatives of a gay person. And he's a parody of a woman. Every time he says I'm a woman, like he is a parody in every sense of the word for almost every, anybody looking at him, he's a parody.

Ben:

Yeah, so here's the thing. I don't know if you've been aware of this, but Dylan Mulvaney is ready for life after girlhood.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I hadn't heard that. What does he mean? Like womanhood, he's going to finally transition to a woman now that he's done being girl.

Ben:

I know it more or less sounds like he's admitting to the parody of this and gonna back down. So anyway, there, I sent you the

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay, he was never Dylan was never particularly masculine even before this But this I remember when I first saw the my first day as a girl video I totally thought it was like a B video or something.

Ben:

Yeah. Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It's like oh my god They're they're totally making fun of women here. This is funny.

Ben:

the, I don't. So he goes on to say, I don't regret doing any of this. But I want to make sure my transition is for me. So he's going to stop being out there and so on. And, you know, it's interesting that people have pointed out that Dylan hasn't done the facial hair removal. People have pointed out lots of different things where

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

He hasn't done

Ben:

they're calling in to question his transition. Blair White has publicly called into question his transition, things like that. So I don't know, maybe he quietly goes back to being a boy. Who knows?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I mean he definitely had plastic surgery.

Ben:

Yeah, he had facial feminization surgery, but he hasn't had implants. He hasn't definitely done the bottom surgery and everything else.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I guess he's trying to normalize the boat Yeah, it's it's interesting. Somebody made a very good point on a video I watched yesterday or a couple of days ago relating to this topic. They, the point was, why is it that every time that you speak with one of these old people, they want you to change how you refer to them because it's their desire. Right? So I'm, I'm a, she her, I'm a, they, them or whatever. If you tell them that you're not comfortable being referred to as a cis anything, don't, don't say I'm a cis male, say I'm a man, or whatever. Then they just start calling you names because they can't accept that you also have the ability to tell them how to refer to yourself.

Ben:

Yeah. And this is where you have to have enough agency to say. Okay. I just, I don't need you in my life

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Unless you want to troll them.

Ben:

anyway. So what else you got to talk about, Gene?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

What else do I got to talk about? I don't know that I have a whole lot to talk about. I've been getting a little bit busier with work stuff,

Ben:

Yeah. And apparently having issues sleeping.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I have been having issues sleeping. Actually got a good 11 hours of sleep. I think the next day after so Saturday. Next day after recording Unrelenting, where I couldn't sleep at all. I mean, like, I just, I was in bed, I was trying to fall asleep, and then I'd look at my watch and it'd be like an hour later, and I still hadn't fallen asleep, and I was like, fuck it, I'll just watch the videos, they'll make me fall asleep. And then I watched videos for like five hours, and then, you know, posted for five hours on Nogen Social and then the sunrise hit. And I was like fuck, it's going to get extra hard to fall asleep. And then I couldn't really fall asleep knowing that I'd have to be awake to do the podcast recording early in the morning as well. So I'm like, fuck it, I'll just stay awake. And

Ben:

get hit by the thunderstorm line last night?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

you know, I think so, but I was sleeping really well.

Ben:

I was up and it was the worst of it missed us, but it was it was a pretty good one. We've had it's been quite the storm season this year.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It has, I agree with that. It's definitely, it must be that global change thing.

Ben:

Yeah. Space news. Did you see about Boeing's? Sit back again.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

no, but one thing relating to the weather, the space. So there, the the meteorologists that are on the left side are predicting an absolutely disastrous year for hurricanes this year. They, they think there there's going to be more than one of the big ones coming through this year

Ben:

Mm hmm.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

because people have been evil and bad and burning fossil fuels.

Ben:

Yes, because, you know, the climate changes super rapidly based off of our personal

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, that's how gods work usually. They they watch humans doing their business, and they say, I don't like what you're doing, I'm going to smite you.

Ben:

Yeah. Did you see the story about the pro gay church getting struck by lightning and burning down?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, no, no. Really?

Ben:

Yes. I mean, it's all it's right up there with the George Floyd Memorial

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That, now that to me is

Ben:

I mean, if you really need proof that God exists.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Huh. Yeah, I, like, lightning seems to strike in just the most interesting ways, doesn't it?

Ben:

I it,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You know, lightning is actually a tool of multiple gods, so you can't really, you don't know which of the gods. Is responsible

Ben:

there's only one God.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

be Thor could be Zeus. You never know of course, that's what you're the one guy that would like you to think but you know Who knows There used to be a whole bunch of gods?

Ben:

I'm pretty good on the monotheistic track there.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I don't know I it seemed to be like the whole monotheism thing was just sold by a bunch of Middle Eastern dudes The rest of the world and I I don't know. I think you gotta learn to think for yourself.

Ben:

Yeah. All right, so

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So you were talking

Ben:

The Boeing issue.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. The the new stuff that with the capsule, you're talking about something else.

Ben:

The new stuff with the capsule and SLS looks like Boeing crap stole some intellectual property and then didn't implement it

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, I did not hear that. What's the news on that?

Ben:

Yeah, so there's a, the fuel system leak that they have apparently is the. Sold another company's intellectual property and changed it slightly as to try and get around some of that. And as a result, caused some of the faults that are happening,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Really? So they basically, they copied the the, the faulty seals from the space shuttle into the SLS. Is that what they did?

Ben:

Kind of. Let me

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I was just making that shit up but that's hilarious.

Ben:

yeah, no if you look at the SLS Artemis fuel leak and it's around leaky seals and it's due. Yeah, and it's due to a design flaw that apparently the original design wouldn't have had. So SLS and the Boeing craft are all. Delayed and having issues,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I,

Ben:

which is just at some level hilarity.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Musk is extremely optimistic with any dates he gives. They're always off by years, but at this pace, it sure seems like we're going to have starship fully functional and in space and able to go to the moon way before the SLS ever is.

Ben:

The, I mean, it, the unmanned mission has already gone, but yes.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Sure. The unmanned mission, but I mean, in terms of having people in there, it's

Ben:

Did you see China setting records with their number of people launched?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I knew it was coming up. I didn't realize those launches were already. Happening. China's gonna continue to build up their space program. It's a big priority from the last party convention.

Ben:

16,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

watched that at all.

Ben:

Since first civilians into space, I think it was like 15 of them or something. And yeah, the U S really need, I, why we are not in the, let me ask you this, I'm being very ineloquent right now, but why are our politicians not highlighting what China is doing and igniting a new space race? Like, if you look at the mainstream media, it's totally ignored

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh yeah.

Ben:

the Chinese space program for a long time. And it makes no sense to me. We have a winning formula here. We did it with the ruskies. Why aren't we doing it with the Chinese?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Do they, maybe they think that Americans don't give a shit about space anymore? Because they're more concerned about the price of gas?

Ben:

Maybe, but I, I find that hard to

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, I, I will fully admit that I'm in a minority of the crazy space nuts out there Really

Ben:

you go down the rabbit hole way further than I do, but I'm still interested.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Yeah. And I, and I think what I was making fun of the Chinese space station years before they launched it, because from the press photos, it looked like a complete mock up. It looked totally fake, didn't look like they were actually anywhere near their ability to do it. And then they managed to put it up. Without a single hitch. I was like, holy shit. All right. This is, this is pretty fucking impressive. Yeah, I, I mean, China is not a great innovator if we can generalize, obviously there are people and companies in China that are, but China as a country

Ben:

But they're very good at copying

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

they're very good at copying. And if somebody is pushing him to it, they will have high quality. The problem is their default is not high quality. Like the Germans. Are they opposite the Germans their default is high quality, and they don't really focus on the cost too much, but with China, it's they're there with the space program. It's, it seems like they're having to maintain both high quality and a fast pace. Short of the, the launches of space X, which is now multiple launches per week. But short of that, China has the most launches of any country.

Ben:

L and the fact that they were able to build the space station in basically a year and it only took them 11 launches is. Astonishing and when I say only a year, they started in 2018 to do the 1st laboratory module, but the really the, the full on construction was between 2020 and 2022, a little over 12 months to build this out. And that's just astonishing.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

well, and that's why I was saying before Tony Young was up in the sky, I was making fun of it because it's like, this, this is just computer models and they look ridiculous, like there's shit missing. Like you look at the inside of the space station and the computer models they first provided. And this, it looks fake. It looks worse than the shit that I have in my Kerbal and my video game. You know, the space simulator one. And then they actually managed to put those up. And of course the actual photos from the, the, from Tiangong that you look at it looks a lot better than the renders did which is again, backwards of typical American companies or European companies where the, they would spend a ton of money on the renders because that's what sells the product. That's what gets you the money with China being a command economy. They don't need to sell the concept of doing this to anyone. It's a government decision. And so consequently renders look like shit. The actual product totally works.

Ben:

Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

And there, you know, there, I know they've been talking to Russia about getting some Russian segments on there.

Ben:

Yeah, and that will be interesting to see if we see the new international space station being Chinese. I think it'd be unfortunate, but quite possible. But at the same time, I don't see the Chinese playing well with anyone else. In their space program is they're just too xenophobic. They're. I just don't see it going on and China and Russia are already having squabbles as is

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

They've always had squabbles. It's, this is, this is

Ben:

yeah. There's been some actual. Yeah, definitely, but there's already some issues with Mongolia and territories right there that are cropping up. It's not going to be an alliance that seems to last.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

no, no. I look, it would be very, I think it would make Russia very happy to not have to be in alliance with China.

Ben:

Yeah, so let me ask you this. Speaking of Russia, Russia, Russia, what do you think about the dam,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

The what?

Ben:

the dam

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, the dam. I don't know. We don't know what's going on. I'm going to default. There was probably Americans that blew it up,

Ben:

Yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

most likely, but there's not enough data there. The thing is, neither Russia, nor the US, nor NATO, nor anybody else is providing us satellite footage. And that makes me wonder why.

Ben:

Ukrainians are sitting there saying, you know, that the Russians did it makes absolutely zero sense.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Of course.

Ben:

Now, now I will say this. It would be an effective way of. Basically, cutting a swath to go through and basically create a demilitarized zone since, you know, this is the area that is contested because now you no longer have any civilians in that, in this swath of destruction that happened south of the dam.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I, I could see it, but I don't know, man, it, the, I watched a, a report from one of the actual boots on the ground. I forget the guy's name. He's a reporter. He's been there the whole time, the entirety of the, the conflict. He's an American guy, and he's been doing on the ground reporting coverage, and, you know, sometimes getting very close to the action, but His take is that there are no Ukrainians fighting this right now, that it's, it's a entirely outsourced army.

Ben:

That wouldn't shock me at all.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Now they're being paid by Ukraine with us money. So that's, you know, I guess in some weird ass technical way that makes them a Ukrainian armed force, but. He said they're out of that. That's it. They're done. They're out of Ukrainian men.

Ben:

You know, we had a presidential candidate's son go over and fight.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Did we? Hmm.

Ben:

Yeah, apparently RFK junior's son went over and fought as a machine gunner in this conflict.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

back or did he die?

Ben:

No, he came back and it's pretty interesting that That there's very little evidence that he actually did this and then be that Kennedy's bringing it up and kind of using it, you know, as a street cred sort of thing.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

hmm. Yeah, I, I, I don't know, man. It's It, it seems like it's starting to wind down.

Ben:

Yeah, and maybe it is I don't, I don't know that we're done with it quite yet. It, it's been a useful distraction, so we'll, we'll see.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It, yeah, it has and I think, I still, at this point, am leaning towards Russia continuing until they get Odessa because that would tie it up nicely. With both Odessa being a Russian speaking city and with it completely cutting off sea access to Ukraine and whatever's left of it.

Ben:

Yeah. Did you look at any of the drone attack stuff since we last talked?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I looked at one since we talked. I mean, these are definitely bigger drones than what you could just buy commercially.

Ben:

Oh no, you can buy them commercially.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, I don't think so, dude. I mean, these are like 10 feet long.

Ben:

I've got a buddy of mine. Who's got several gas powered drones that are in this category.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

they're like 10 foot long drones.

Ben:

Yeah. 10 foot

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Really? Okay. All right I guess you can't buy them, but they're not, they're certainly not your

Ben:

wingspan. They're not your average little quadcopter that most people think of now.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

exactly. Like these things are more of the size that you see, like I watched a video of a company that makes drones like this to deliver medicine in Africa. So that like somebody gets bitten by a snake, they can send one of these up and then get it to the site within a couple hours. Instead of waiting for a day to have it be driven out there. So they're, I mean, it's, it's not a hobbyist drone. Let's just put it that way. But as far as again, who's doing it, where they're coming from, I, who knows, but the, the it, it, there's some people saying that they're actually coming from within Russia. So these are like terrorist drones, essentially. They're, they're being sent by people acting in a terrorist capacity within the borders of Russia. And then I've also heard that they're coming across the border from Ukraine, but that makes or a damn long drone flight. I don't know. It's hard to say, but they're not really having any major impact. If anything, again, having some minor injuries and stuff. The only thing it's going to do is galvanize people more to support this.

Ben:

Tied into the Ukrainian thing, you know, we had the report kind of coming out regarding Biden and Ukraine. And it's pretty ironic that instantly as that report's coming out the Trump indictments dropped and no coincidence there. No.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

you think the odds are of of the lawsuit happening now that the diamonds are out?

Ben:

do you mean?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I mean, it's not going to end up getting dismissed in some capacity.

Ben:

Which lawsuit?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

The new one, with the new charges, the federal charges.

Ben:

Oh, I, I think the federal charges aren't going to go anywhere. I don't think there's any there there. You know, and to. To charge him with espionage is just again, I, I think this is this is

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Russian colluder.

Ben:

no, this is this is a target. This is a bud light. This is a jump the shark moment where I think they have gone. Way, way too far. I, I think that the obvious connection to Ukraine and using this and timing this so that it is convenient for the Bidens, I think is too obvious for even the, you know, Most normie person to ignore. It's too in your

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

you a more interesting question here, then. When do you think, or do you think that the, any Republicans will have the balls when the Republicans are in control to go after Hillary and Obama and all the other people that have

Ben:

First target is going to be Biden.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Biden will be dead.

Ben:

Yeah. I think first target is going to be Biden. And I think it's going to be here shortly over this Ukraine stuff.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay, but it's not going to be while Biden's president.

Ben:

I guess I, I, I, I do believe it will

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

don't, they, they have no control to do that.

Ben:

You can have local prosecutors and things like that to do stuff. It doesn't have to be at the federal level.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

exempt from all that.

Ben:

Excuse me.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Sitting president is exempt.

Ben:

Oh, those rules have been broken already, my friend,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

By who?

Ben:

but Democrats,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But sitting president?

Ben:

yes,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

When?

Ben:

Trump.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

How? What are you talking about? I don't know what you mean.

Ben:

Okay, so I think that there will be a high likelihood of corruption charges against Hunter Biden. There's lots of evidence to point to tax issues for Hunter. I think that's where it starts. And then depending on what comes out of it, there's a high likelihood of impeachment for Joe

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

The IRS was always a liberal organization. They're never going to go after Biden.

Ben:

Biden. I don't think the IRS has to go after Biden for a prosecutor to. Pull up those charges,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Okay. I don't think it's going to happen. But especially not with the big guy. I think the big guy is going to end up walking out of this.

Ben:

I, I, let, let me phrase it differently. I don't think the big guy is going to walk out of this. I think he's going to, you know,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

They, I think as soon as he stopped serving a purpose, he'll be dead because all they got to do is just stop giving him the vitamin drip every morning.

Ben:

yeah I think he's pretty

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

he's a living corpse at this point,

Ben:

dude. He looks bad and the, the trip on stage, you know, people can make the excuse for him. There was a sandbag and this, that, and the other, and you know, the media spins it that, oh, he got up immediately. Yeah. Cause people picked him up. Like if you watch that video. There's no way in hell he was getting up if someone didn't come pick him up. Like, he would have sat there and flopped on the floor.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Yeah. But if you want, did you watch the video of the entire thing?

Ben:

Yes.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But before the trip,

Ben:

Huh. He's stumbling.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

walks to the wrong place, starts talking to the wrong guy. Turns around, walks back towards the podium, goes past the podium,

Ben:

Goes on the wrong side of the

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yep, and then turns around and then starts walking back, and then he trips.

Ben:

Yeah, the reason why he tripped was he was on the wrong side of the podium. Had he been on the back side of the podium, that sandbag wouldn't have been there,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

right,

Ben:

There's no, there's no part of this that doesn't scream mental retardation or issues

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But the Democrats are fine having people with no brains in office. Just look at that Pennsylvania guy.

Ben:

Oh, yeah, definitely. I mean, Fetterman is, man, it's, it's sad. It's. It's sad.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I love the fact that when he was in, in hospital, his wife was taking the kids to Niagara Falls.

Ben:

Yeah. Just left him.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That was great. I mean, what else do you do when they tell you, yeah, there's no hope. I think he's brain dead. Like, okay.

Ben:

You stay there.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Huh.

Ben:

You, you know, hopefully you stay by your man's side.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

with that,

Ben:

woman would do. But, you know, I have to say it. I am so tired of modern woman. I, I know I'm going to

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

you want

Ben:

like the

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

of them trad women's?

Ben:

else, but I am really, really just. Dismayed

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

don't, don't be so generalizing. Make sure you put in the word American in there.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Because, I'm telling you right now, dude, there's plenty of Asian chicks, and East European chicks, and Middle Eastern chicks,

Ben:

I've never had yellow fever. I just, yeah.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You're weird that way, I guess. So yeah, it's a, it's a whole attitudinal thing, but I would say that the only thing that shows like whatever have done is everyone's ragging about how, Oh my God, look at all this this you know, anti female stuff on, on YouTube or

Ben:

It's not anti female.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

all that the shows have done, and there's a bunch of them is stick a microphone in front of girls. That's all they've done. And the girls

Ben:

And allowed hilarity to ensue.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, they will literally bury themselves with what they say. Mm hmm. And it's One of them I saw was just great, just a little snippet clip where these, on whatever these girls are doing their normal, like, you know, I do what I want, I can have as many guys, and hey, I have no trouble getting men. And then the dude in the show responds, Yeah even ugly girls can get laid. The, the thing that, that it's hard for girls to do isn't to get a guy to fuck him. It's to get a guy to marry them.

Ben:

And be faithful.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

And then all these girls mouths just dropped because they realized that was a truth bomb. It's like, it's, it's not about getting laid. Like, you're bragging about how easy it is for you to get laid. You think you're a 10 because you're getting laid? No, no. What, why you're not a 10 is because you can't get a husband. Yeah, the faithful part, they're all worried about. Honestly, if you look at the stats, women literally cheat two to one on men. So twice as many women cheat in marriages as men. And you gotta wonder about who these women are all cheating with, because it sounds like from other stats, it's like the same guy, like all women are, are cheating with the same guy.

Ben:

Literally one

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Literally one, one basketball player is doing all the married women.

Ben:

Hopefully, And, you know, again, I Some of this gives me hope because I think that my generation, maybe Gen Z will have to be the last generation to tolerate this, but I think that there's going to be a backlash moment and things are going to go the other way. And I hope that my son gets to grow up and lead a more normal life, but we'll see.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

yeah, we'll see. I, I've said this before and I'll say it again. I think the more feminism push, the more the backlash with Islam is going to come because Islam is anti feminism. And the further they push in this direction, the more Americans are going to start going that way. Because you, you look at the Christian trad wives, that ain't nothing compared to the Islam trad wives.

Ben:

Yeah you know, it's, it's funny because. A lot of people point out the, you know, that, oh they just go do this or they get their hair done or they hire babysitters and what else, you know, whatever. And I think if you talk to most men, it's like, okay, cool. Whatever. Are you. Giving me what I want. That's what matters. And the fact that so many women have just ignored that, hey, you know, what, what your partner wants, what you're the opposite sex wants, what you're trying to attract that should matter to you.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I think what's been sold in this way, I've constantly blamed Disney is the princess syndrome, which is.

Ben:

It.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That a girl's job is to do whatever it takes to convince a guy in that she should get half his stuff, AKA marriage. And once she does that, that is end game for her. Then she is done. She has achieved her goal of

Ben:

No, because she still has to keep in,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But, but that's what I'm saying. That's the message that sold is that the only thing you need to worry about is getting to that. Marriage part. Once you get a guy to sign over half his shit to you, then you don't have to try at all. You're done. You could do whatever you want. You can be any kind of bitchy personality you want because at this point, the threat of him losing half his shit and all his kids is a greater threat than he's willing to take on. And that'll keep any guy with a woman who does not love him forever.

Ben:

I don't know about that,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's the message. I'm not saying it's the right one,

Ben:

I think that part of it also is that, you know, what we've done why by untangling sex from marriage and basically having little to 0 consequence sex is women go out and now pretty much every woman can just get laid and.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

player. Yes.

Ben:

but they, they think that, that they, they use that to overestimate their status as it were.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But I think it's even beyond status, but there's status is one thing they know, given today's America, that the threat of losing, have your shit and all your kids is not an empty threat. It is generally what happens. When you, when you get divorced and you can get divorced for any reason, the woman can, doesn't even need a reason to get divorced

Ben:

no fault divorce is a huge problem in my mind. And, you know, one of the things I would say to this is it is shocking to me that we don't see more cases of men just losing their shit because, you know, 80% of the divorces. Are done by the women, meaning women initiate the divorce. And if you're a man who is going to now lose his kids, maybe you, you know, every other weekend or some dumb shit like that, which how the hell is that the

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I've seen plenty of my friends that have gone through divorces, end up with like occasional visits to the kids.

Ben:

Why does that, why do men not just go off the rails based off of that? I don't understand that.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. I mean, it's first of all, nobody should be getting married without a prenup that that'll at least solve the financial bit, but beyond that the Your kids are going to be held over you. I mean the, the guy, I can't remember his name, but I follow him on Twitter, the guy out of Dallas whose wife decided that his son

Ben:

Flayed to California.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. So that guy has been really pushing the idea that men ought to have kids through the use of surrogates. And then, then you can get married if you want, but your kid, your. Your kid's legal guardian should never be your wife. And obviously it's a very extreme position, but it's understandable given what happened to him. But it's I think a lot more of that will be happening and it's.

Ben:

And that's the way MGTOW has been promoting it. And, you know, I, I think that the problem with this is this is all leading to the destruction of the family. And that, that's the problem I have. I'm sorry?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I think we're well past the destruction of the family.

Ben:

We gotta figure out a way to come back from it.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, the Islam. I mean, I'm, I'm not trying to promote it

Ben:

Yeah, I, I know, and I would like to find another way, but you're not wrong,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Right, that's the thing. Like, Islam is the submission, the marriage in Islam is a submission of the woman to the man. Period. End of story. So it's yeah, I mean, I, I don't know, man. I don't know, man. It's, I think Christianity has shown that it is a little too flexible in what it's willing to put up with. And there's a lot of the, you know, it's almost like it's too libertarian at this point. Whatever you do in the price of your own home, we don't care about. Isn't that really the whole point of religion is to focus about making sure that what people do in the privacy of their own home is actually what the religion teaches rather than just leaving it up to hedonism. I mean, I don't know. I mean, anything. So for me, this is all like, I mean, I'm talking in four languages here, but

Ben:

People,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

like that the religion in the West has failed society.

Ben:

well, and, you know, Nietzsche Nietzsche put it very well when, you know, people misunderstand Nietzsche when he says, you know, God is dead. He's lamenting that fact, and, you know, he, he points out that if we do not have a overarching morality that comes in and find some way to have, you know, as he puts it, the ubermensch come in with their morality, then we have. A society that's going to fail and he was right, right? So he's right up there with Ted Kaczynski on predicting

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

whether you believe religion literally, or whether you think it's purely allegorical, the lessons that are taught, exactly. Let me finish god damn thought here, dude. How often do you get an atheist saying religion is needed? Come on. That's, that's exactly right, is that regardless of how you, you see it, there's a reason for those lessons to exist, and it's for the ability to have society. Like, do you need religion if you're literally the last man alive on earth? Not really. If you are in society and you want to keep that society going and maybe even improve it a little bit you need to ensure that everybody has certain certain beliefs that they follow. And religion could very easily be the thing that creates, that solidifies those beliefs, those common positive beliefs that get people within a society to act in a way that's beneficial. Now you, can you do that in other ways? Yeah, you could do it as with a threat, like they did in Russia and China during the heyday of communism, where either it's our way or the highway. It does work, but it means that you constantly have a percentage of the population that you need to send off to prison. Like that's the trade off is you're trading having more people just doing what society needs because they're learning it in church. And instead you're, you're saying if you don't do it, it's, it's the threat. So certain people will do things because of the threat, but the people that don't, you're going to need to get rid of. So it's, I think it's, it's a little simplistic to say that, that communism doesn't work. I think that you have to look at it from whose perspective. Like, if you look at it from the perspective of the majority of the people, then absolutely it's horrible. From the perspective of the small minority in leadership. The pigs, as it were in the story, it works quite well. So

Ben:

Huh.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

you need the context.

Ben:

Yeah. Sure.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Isn't that ironic though? That the communism, the idea that we're a community of, of identity of equally.

Ben:

Are more equal than

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

some aren't. Exactly, exactly. Goddammit, you keep saying shit before I say it. but it's true. It's true. With that in mind I think that if, yeah, here's what I'm gonna say. If the Christians don't get their shit together, Islam's gonna take over the U. S.

Ben:

I, yes, I can see that. And I think these issues around trans and maps I think are jumping. Jumping the shark, you know, there, there's a, there was a thing out recently for a minor attracted person, pride flag and

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh my god.

Ben:

the fact that anyone is audacious enough to do that. Holy crap,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

hmm.

Ben:

people are going to end up getting killed over this. I mean,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Likely.

Ben:

like, quite frankly, I can see someone putting that flag up in a neighborhood and. They talked to the wrong person's kid one

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Mm hmm. Yeah, it's it is crazy and I keep going back to my opinion I've shared with you numerous times is that yet another thing that Reagan did wrong was shutting down the asylums because we need asylums, man, now more than ever.

Ben:

You know, I, I've been reluctant to agree with you on that. Because you know, it's I think involuntary involuntary commitment is a very tough 1. But again, after some of the stuff that's happened this week, I agree. I just sent you the wiki on the map flyer, by the way. And we should probably put this link in the, show notes or description or something, because if you see this in your neighborhood, you know,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I think it's kind of like if you see anything with that resembles Disney, it's probably evil. Never trust anybody that focuses too highly on children.

Ben:

It's you know, child abuse very rarely looks like what you'd imagine it. When you see it look like what you'd imagine it,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You mean like with a mustache?

Ben:

when, when, when you have you know, but none of. It's, it's interesting because none of this is new and if people had been paying attention, you know, NAMBL has been around for a long damn

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

South Park was making jokes about it 20 years ago.

Ben:

but them trying

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

wanna, you wanna tell, tell the people that may not know what NABLA stands for.

Ben:

What is it? National Man Boy Love Association.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

National Association of Man Boy Love, yep.

Ben:

Yep. It, the problem is that now they're tying it all into this. Gender identity stuff and trying to normalize it and say that being attracted to minors is just part of sexuality and normal. And I, I don't

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, sorry, I, I

Ben:

going to accept that.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Actually stands for National Association of Marlon Brando Lookalikes.

Ben:

Sure it does.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's what it said on South Park.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Did you not see that episode? You

Ben:

I dude, I

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

watch it. It's funny.

Ben:

the fact that websites can exist that maps and allies network and things like that. It's just, it's astonishing to me. I mean, the FBI should be, instead of, you know, targeting people that were at January 6th, should actually be doing some law enforcement here.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

But there's all kinds of fetishes out there. The problem is when you get into areas of non consensuality.

Ben:

And, you know, we get into arguments about when someone can consent or not. But what I would say is... Immediately, I would bring up the same issue on transitioning and, you know, whether you agree or not, whether you think that people should transition or not. I, I think Jean and I both would say, and I'm not trying to speak for you here, but what you do as an adult, I don't think anyone cares about and,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Only to the extent that it doesn't affect me.

Ben:

Yes, and what people do to their kids generally, I don't care about, but. You know, what happened to Jazz Jennings, as a perfect example, was child abuse.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

abuse. Absolutely. Absolutely. And I think

Ben:

And I'm, I'm not one to say child abuse very often. I think, you know, parents should be left the fuck alone to a very large extent that, you know, if you want to beat your child, if you want to do whatever, I generally don't care. It sucks for that child, but I'm not going to take your right away as a parent for, you know, pretty much any reason.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

know, it takes a village.

Ben:

Yeah, I disagree, but anyway, I think that jazz was definitely a clear product of child abuse. And I, I feel very poorly for them. And you know, here, here's the thing they're talking about doing hormone blockers and things like that to, you know, just put a pause on on puberty. Cause they think they can do that, which by the way, have you watched what is a woman yet? Did you go through and watch

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, I haven't yet.

Ben:

Dude, you really need to watch that. It's very good. Anyway, that's not a real thing. And part of the problem that jazz is having now is because they went that route. Ended up with a micro penis. And when they went to do the penile inversion to create the vaginoplasty, there wasn't enough material there to do it properly. And now this is a person that would probably never have an orgasm that is struggling with this. Neo vagina thing that isn't functional.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That is just retarded, man. I'm sorry, but the idea of creating a permanent wound cavity in a body that serves no purpose. Of necessity, other than for dudes to stick their dick into when there's a perfectly good asshole right next to it. I just don't, I, like, that's just sick.

Ben:

Anyway, I get both sides of the argument if you are really gender dysphoric and you're really having an issue there. But I, again, we wouldn't say to an anorexic. Oh, yeah, you could stand to lose a few pounds. So I think there is. There's got to be some moral

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, you, yeah, you don't encourage him by saying, oh, you'll be so much happier if you just keep losing more weight.

Ben:

Yeah. But anyway,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You'd slap him and say, what the fuck are you doing? You deserve to be in a institution.

Ben:

okay, you go right ahead. But anyway, it, I think that's all I've got for today, but it's, it's sad to see what we've done and where our society is going. I

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

so there's a video I posted, I don't know if you saw it on Nogent social, that I kind of called, what is a man, and it is a clip from a White House press conference, I can't remember if it was during Reagan or Bush years, but the, it was the press secretary doing his briefing, and saying, I'm sorry I'm a little bit late today, I just found out my wife is dead, then kept doing the briefing, And then the reporters would say, you know, what happened while she was killed in a car accident, every time they start trying to talk to him about that topic, he's like, look, I, you know, I want to make sure you guys get the information about what's happening with the white house, not about me. It's like, it's a horrible event, but I'm here to do my job. I think that's being a man is you persevere. That's the, the main characteristics of malehood is perseverance, that and a penis.

Ben:

chromosomes, I think tell the story, but yeah, neither here nor there.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Oh, I don't know. There's plenty of men that have acted like women that I would not call men.

Ben:

Yeah, yeah. Okay, fine. So if you're wanting to judge the difference between being male and what you think the ideal of a man should be. Okay, gotcha. Anyway,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

generous. Ayn Rand's idea of a man was even more extreme than mine.

Ben:

Hey I I know I'm not I'm not John Galt, but I strive to at least be Hank Reardon.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

You know what? The guy that cheated on his wife?

Ben:

Like, got, ooh, what's that? He got the fuck Dagny you know, hey.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

get the fuck down. Yeah.

Ben:

He met, but my point was he wasn't quite the ideal and he didn't get her in the end, but it was still what you would consider a good

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah. Yeah. The ideal

Ben:

was the part I was going

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, I know, but remember, I'm here to be that guy.

Ben:

Yeah, you're, you're more like Ragnar out there just throwing bombs.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Dude, don't, don't be saying what my video game name is. Come on.

Ben:

Ragnar Denskil. You know, it's funny. I actually had a former co worker that she was enough of a Randy and that she literally named her daughter Dagney and her son Ragnar.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

That's cool. Yeah, I mean these are good traditional classic names that are good for kill, know, children.

Ben:

I guess. I guess.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I don't know, I think Dagny is not that unusual as a girl's name, is it?

Ben:

yeah. Dagney is not too bad, but Ragnar's a, you know.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Ragnar, after the Vikings came out, I think Ragnar became a pretty popular kid's name.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

even in this country. Because there's I mean, you know, people like to name their kids for things that are current events. And I, were you watching the show Vikings much at all or not?

Ben:

No.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

I think you would like it.

Ben:

Okay. I, I did watch the, the humorous version though. Norseman

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Norsemen, which was funny.

Ben:

hilarious.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Now that show, Vikings, that has an awful lot of real men in it. Like, you know, men who do things and make decisions that are not easy and may result in death.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

It was a good show. I really liked it. Plus I really liked the main character chick that was in it. Catherine Winnick, I think is her name, who was, she did an amazing job. First of all, playing a character that went from her early 20s to her 50s throughout the series.

Ben:

So Star Citizen has a lot of Randy and

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, that's not Star Citizen. Those are names that I named my ships.

Ben:

Oh,

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

So that's not Star Citizen, that's Gene.

Ben:

Okay.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

certain ships can have custom names in them.

Ben:

Huh.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

And so I took the opportunity to have a theme within my ship names.

Ben:

Okay. Cool.

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, the, the most exclusive ship being named Ayn Rand.

Ben:

Gotcha. Anything else we need to cover today, Gene?

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

No, I think we've overcovered if anything.

Ben:

Yeah, probably. I think I'm gonna buy that 1911

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

Yeah, man, I'm looking forward to getting a picture of that and then posting it into our next episode. Or however many episodes down the line that ends up being.

Ben:

before it comes in, yeah. FFL transfer and all. All

GMT20230611-150638_Recording_separate2:

All that jazz. Exactly. All right, man. Cool. I will talk to you next week, I guess.

Ben:

right, Gene. See you then.
