Alright, welcome back everyone. Thank you for joining us today on the boy show. You got Tanner, darren and Colby with you again this week, same as last, we're gonna be doing a tier list, but this time we're gonna be doing Marvel movies. So play along. Let us know if you agree or disagree with us, and yeah, well, I guess we'll just jump right into it today. All right, here we go. So we'll just start right here. The incredible Hulk.
Speaker 2:I Don't love it. I Mean I feel like it's a, c or D. I don't personally like it, but We'll say we'll say D.
Speaker 1:it's been a long time. You guys concur, disagree, think I should move it. Thanks, thanks, a good spot. Okay, yeah, first Avengers movie.
Speaker 2:That's probably one of my favorite Avengers movies the first one, just because it's the first one. It's usually with Other movies you can't meet him, but I feel like it's pretty good, but there are better ones, so I'd be here and a yeah.
Speaker 1:I'd say no lower than a, b.
Speaker 3:Yeah, let's drop it in a for now.
Speaker 1:Okay, yeah, all right. The first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, one of my favorites.
Speaker 2:I.
Speaker 1:Were we thinking? We think in est is a deal, we think it's est here, or we're saying hi a.
Speaker 2:I'd put it in a s. I mean just because of the soundtrack and just the jokes that are in it. I mean it's just pretty humorous.
Speaker 1:But I Agree, all right, the first Thor movie? I don't think it's that bad?
Speaker 2:I don't think it's that bad. I think it's again good for a first one, but I don't think it's above the first Avengers.
Speaker 3:Honestly, if you look at everything that came out of that timeline like Thor, the first, iron man, hulk, like, and then if you were to watch one of those and then go immediately to like endgame or something just like- You're gonna be let down the the production level and everything is just nuts. The difference?
Speaker 1:They're on two different levels but you had to start somewhere.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and I don't want to bash on Iron man with that. I love the first Iron man. I think I did a fantastic job. Yeah, yeah, see. Yeah, I'm gonna see, lucy, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1:All right, ant-man, the first Ant-Man, I think.
Speaker 2:I thought that was I like that one. It's pretty funny.
Speaker 1:I put it like I don't think it's as good as some of the other ones, but I think it's pretty funny. Paula does pretty good. I put it like a bee. I think that's a. It's a fair shout, all right. Thor the dark world. This one gets a lot of hate. It does, and I can see what I can force, but again, I don't think it's the worst movie.
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 3:I haven't seen it in a while, but I wouldn't put it above the first door. Now do we put it above Hulk.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I would.
Speaker 1:Should we go D tier or?
Speaker 3:Yeah, see.
Speaker 1:Just move that down. Okay, captain America, the winter soldier this one is this one's pretty good. I think this is a pretty good movie, quality film. Yeah, we go above it's above Ant-Man, now is it above the first Avengers movie? I?
Speaker 2:Don't think it's above the first.
Speaker 3:You can put it below under the eight year, okay the first Captain America.
Speaker 1:I think it's pretty good, I mean, now is it better than the second one? I?
Speaker 2:Don't know.
Speaker 3:I go back and forth with that if just look at the three Captain America's where's my screen? What? How would you rank those ones? Because, like, I don't even know right now yeah.
Speaker 1:Well, the the next Captain America's coming up, so we'll get there, I Think. For now, we'll just put it Um below it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, just since it's this. Yeah, that's good.
Speaker 1:Okay, avengers age of Ultron.
Speaker 3:I think it's a decent film.
Speaker 2:I don't think it's better than the first one, though I don't think it's better than Ant-Man Really. I put it like right there in the B tier with Ant-Man.
Speaker 1:But Okay, Darren, do you have an opposing opinion?
Speaker 3:No, actually I think that's pretty good. It's not better than the first one. It's good. No, it's more like the second one.
Speaker 1:All right, the second Iron man.
Speaker 3:I enjoy all of the.
Speaker 2:Iron.
Speaker 1:Man films. Yeah, that's the with Wibblash. I believe this is his name.
Speaker 2:Okay, yeah, all of the Iron man are pretty good. It's definitely I wouldn't put it above the first Avengers, though, either.
Speaker 1:I think above Captain America one, but below the second one, I think that's pretty good right there. Yeah, all right, now the first Iron man.
Speaker 4:Honestly, I think it's.
Speaker 1:I think it's S tier, yeah, and I don't think there's. I think S tier, there's not a ones greater than the next, no, they're all pretty good, so all right the third Iron man film. I don't like it better than the second one, but I it does have its moments, but I don't think it's better than the second one.
Speaker 2:It's definitely not better than the second one. It's either low A or high B.
Speaker 1:I think in high B probably.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Okay, All right. Captain America Civil War.
Speaker 2:I actually like that one better than the first one. Okay, but I don't know that it's better than Winter Soldier.
Speaker 3:I think Civil War was better than Age of Ultron, which, with what happens, they're essentially both Avenger movies, you know, pretty much. Yeah, right.
Speaker 1:Okay, yeah, but I do think it's better than Iron man 2. Yeah, yeah, okay, all right, dr Strange, the first one.
Speaker 2:Actually I enjoyed that one, I mean.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I remember watching trailers for that one and I was like, oh, this one's too far off the deep end, like to where Marvel has gotten to now. I thought it was in there with Dr Strange. I watched the trailer and was like too much they're trying to do too much. They actually did a phenomenal job with it. I was like, oh, that's good.
Speaker 1:Now is it better than Captain America?
Speaker 2:No. I think it's right there by Ant-Man. I feel like it's kind of on that level.
Speaker 1:I'd say it's high B. Come on, stupid, there we go. I think that's a good spot, okay, unless, do you guys have an opposing opinion or no? Think it's good. No, that's good, okay. The second Guardians movie.
Speaker 2:That one was pretty good, Definitely not better than the first. I'd put it like middle B somewhere, Like again it's got the good humor in it and good soundtrack. But it doesn't be the first, it doesn't be some of those others.
Speaker 3:I feel like the second one got a little bit cheesy. It's almost like they took everything they heard from that we liked from the first one and then I go we're just going to run off more of that. So it's like more of the 14 year old boy humor, like another solid soundtrack. But, like More of a great humor yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah. I mean, this is a good job, but yeah All right. Spider-man homecoming.
Speaker 2:I enjoy that one.
Speaker 3:I think all the Spider-Man's were pretty good, honestly.
Speaker 1:Yeah, across the board. Yeah, um, I, yeah, I put it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I put an A but it's stiff. I think it's right there by the first Captain America somewhere.
Speaker 1:I'd say it's probably right there, I think. I think it's still better than this Iron man, probably. I think it's a decent spot.
Speaker 2:I had some good moments.
Speaker 1:Yeah, all right, black Panther.
Speaker 2:I didn't see anything wrong about that one, but when. I first watched it.
Speaker 3:I walked away and I was like dang, that was not a good movie, and then I wouldn't rewatch that.
Speaker 4:I was like oh man, I love this movie.
Speaker 3:I don't know why I didn't like it the first time, but it just didn't like it. I'm like yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:I'd say it's low A. I think it's good. I don't think it's as good as everyone made it out to be, but I mean it's still a decent film. Yeah, all right. Okay, thor Ragnarok.
Speaker 2:That's got to be nasty here, man. That's got to be nasty Ghost.
Speaker 4:Oh, so good. Ghost Piss off ghost.
Speaker 1:All right, infinity War.
Speaker 2:I feel like that's an A, I'd say yes, yeah, I'll go with that one.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we go with that, All right. Uh huh, captain Marvel did not catch it.
Speaker 2:It's got to be. I here's my thing with it. It's good and I'm going to get hate for this, I know I am, but just the feminist agenda that got pushed so hard in that movie it ruined it for me. Like granted, I would probably watch it over the first, the Incredible Hulk. I'd watch it over that, but I don't know that. Watch it over the other, thor, I don't. I don't know.
Speaker 3:See, I even pull away the feminist side of things. It's just, it's the same mentality as Superman. You have someone that has super strength, can fly invincible. How do they have any problems? Right, you know, it's like they don't have a weakness, just take care of any conflict. You know like in the endgame she flies through, like that. This is our shit, brings it down before she even starts fighting.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 3:And then she lands and they have like the feminist rally, and then she still can't deliver the freaking glove.
Speaker 4:You can pull down the whole worship in five seconds and you can't deliver a glove with a whole team of women around you. Are you kidding, If you're going to have a feminist woman and you want to promote feminism at least?
Speaker 2:have it work.
Speaker 4:You're just laughing at them. It's like oh, look at all these women to get together and it doesn't work.
Speaker 1:And not just that, like she fights Thanos back and he's got the gauntlet, you know, and she's fighting him back and all this stuff, and then he grabs one of them, punches her out of the movie.
Speaker 3:Yeah, so it was like it makes sense, infinity Stones more powerful than her, but like right, she was holding all of them and lost.
Speaker 4:Yeah, make a sense.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'll go with that.
Speaker 1:All right, spiderman Far From Home. I thought it was cool. I don't think it was as good as the first Spider-Man, though.
Speaker 3:It was good, though Just not a high beat here.
Speaker 1:Why is this stupid? There we go. That's a high beat there. All right, endgame Again. I feel like this is S tier. Do you guys disagree?
Speaker 3:It's definitely above Endgame yeah.
Speaker 1:But Endgame is above, I think, the majority of the other movies.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean it just kind of encompasses everything else and closes it out fairly decent. I mean, granted, there's movies after it, whatever, but Right.
Speaker 1:Well, it closes off that saga, the Infinity Saga. It closes out. It's a good ending to it. Yeah, all right. All right, let's speed this up a little bit. Wandavision that was just weird to watch. Should we just put all the TV shows just right here and never seen, because they all have their highlights? Let's see, I just like.
Speaker 3:I didn't like how they did what am I doing?
Speaker 1:We just won't even do the TV shows. Screw that. What am I doing? I'm making too much work for myself.
Speaker 2:All right, Ant-Man and the.
Speaker 1:Wasp.
Speaker 2:It's decent. I'd put it like a, c.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:What's the plot in that one? Oh, I remember there's like the ghost. There's like the yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. I just think there's like Paul Rudd as a kindergartener and I was like I'll hire him over the whole movie. Now, that was the moment that was like, oh, you have seen this.
Speaker 1:That's the funny part. All right, black Widow.
Speaker 2:Not as good as I thought.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it was good, but it wasn't as good as I was hoping.
Speaker 3:I thought we were going to get more of her backstory.
Speaker 1:Mm-hmm, I was hoping for that, you got like you got like this much of the backstory and that was it.
Speaker 3:Well, there was like the red room and everything, but I was also hoping for like her time as like an independent assassin. I thought we're going to look into some of that, you know, and it was going to be like Jason Bourne status, yeah. I finally say doesn't have superpowers but is doing pretty baller crap. Yeah, but it was still good.
Speaker 1:Think probably it's right there. See it here. All right, Shang Chi. I enjoyed this movie a lot. This one was good.
Speaker 2:It was pretty good.
Speaker 3:I think, it's real nice stick at the end, but it was still pretty good.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'd say right there. Would we put it higher than that? I think it's below the first Avengers. Would we put it above any of these?
Speaker 2:I wouldn't even put it above Black Panther, but that's just I would.
Speaker 1:What about you, Darren? You want above or below Black Panther?
Speaker 3:I think it's good.
Speaker 1:Right there.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:All right, all right Moon.
Speaker 2:Eternals. I didn't see that one.
Speaker 1:Okay, what about you, darren? Did you see?
Speaker 3:it in the intro. I was getting like mad planet creation vibes, holy. It was like, oh, that's weird, let's see. It was like it was good, but it just kind of felt like an independent. Have you seen that one? Yeah, I watched.
Speaker 1:I've seen like the majority of it. I think I came into it late but saw like the most of it. I didn't at least give it a D.
Speaker 3:Probably high D yeah, All right. Doctor Strange. Multiverse of.
Speaker 1:Madness, I have not actually seen this one. I've seen a lot of clips about it, but I've never actually sat through the whole movie. It's pretty good.
Speaker 2:It kind of gets a little complex at times. I feel like in that one I'd put it like a C Above Thor. No, I wouldn't put it above Thor. Yeah, I think there's about good.
Speaker 3:So that's one of the ones where you need to have seen WandaVision before you go and watch that one Right and see some of the other stuff to understand.
Speaker 1:Yeah, all right, no Way Home.
Speaker 2:I don't know that I've seen that one all the way through. I think this one was better than the first one.
Speaker 3:I think, Polar man and All the Past Spider-Man's was super sick.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I've only seen it once when it was in theaters, so I don't remember.
Speaker 3:it's super good, but no, I thought it was pretty good.
Speaker 1:The way they did all that, I think was cool. Bring it back to life A lot of iconic characters too.
Speaker 3:Yeah, like the villains.
Speaker 1:Yeah, all right, thor, love and Thunder. I haven't seen it yet. This one was a let down, yeah. But if you go into it knowing that it's told from the perspective of Korg, then you understand why it is the way it is. But if you don't realize that and don't like know that going in, then you're like what did I just spend two hours doing so?
Speaker 3:I kind of feel like I need to rewatch it, but coming off of Ragnarok, it was it's such a let down.
Speaker 1:This Mark, I'd say it's above Eternals. But yeah, all right, wakanda Forever. I have again. This is one I haven't seen so it's pretty good.
Speaker 2:First one, in my opinion, is better.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 2:But I mean B, have you seen it there?
Speaker 3:Yeah, I'd deteer it, oh D.
Speaker 1:Did you say B or B? I thought you said B. I said B is in Boy. Oh well, let's meet in the middle, yeah.

Speaker 1:All right, let's see. Okay, so the original Spider-Man movie. So Spider-Man 3, the Tobii McGuire one. I've never seen it before. A lot of memes have come out of this movie.
Speaker 3:The little Dane sitting down beside R.
Speaker 1:It's quality, that's a, b. Yeah, hi, be, I'd say hi.
Speaker 3:How does three different spider-man's? How would you rank up?
Speaker 1:Personally I'd go Holland, garfield, maguire Okay, just because I feel like the first spider-man. So the Toby Maguire, he, they're all adults and so it's like adults playing kiddos In high school and it doesn't seem right. And then you go to Andrew Garfield and I liked him as Peter Parker. I thought he was a good care, I thought that those were some good movies. But it goes a little bit away from Like the Toby Maguire ones where it's Gwen Stacy instead of MJ and then Tom Holland. I feel like just kind of fits the bill, he fits the Peter Parker, he fits the spider-man, he fits like the character, more like the high school version.
Speaker 3:Then it run thinks of yeah, that's a Maguire or not Maguire, garfield, garfield, thank you. I thought he was a fantastic Peter Parker, but I think he'll require. Those movies were better, but I still put a Holland at the top.
Speaker 2:I haven't seen all the spider-man. I've seen like the very first one. I've seen the couple Tom Holland ones, but I haven't seen so this is the amazing spider-man.
Speaker 1:This is the first Andrew Garfield one. How do you guys think that one did? I I haven't seen it, so I thought this one was good. I'll just say we'll just put Do we just put all the spider-man movies in high B and they're all kind of just like we just skip over them.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:Alright, so we'll move past them. I won't spend the time. All the spider-man movies, pretty much, are high B. All right, that's TV show. Have you guys seen venom at all?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I actually really enjoy venom, because it's just funny.
Speaker 1:All right, where would you put it then?
Speaker 2:I haven't seen it, so I Would put it a B, like I put it right next to dr Strange. Yeah, right there, okay.
Speaker 1:What about the second one? Have you seen the second one?
Speaker 3:I call me by Colby.
Speaker 1:All right, I guess we'll just move on. These are all TV shows. All these are TV shows. All these are TV. Okay, x-men movies, see. Are there any other ones that we want to hit first? I.
Speaker 3:Think we should get everything from here. There's like I haven't even seen any yet.
Speaker 1:I've seen a couple here there. Logan watched them before he left and they were like cool to see, but I never sat through a full one. What? Here's another spider. Maybe we've seen the spider-verse movies?
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think they did a great job on that. I haven't seen the second one yet, but I think the first one.
Speaker 1:I honestly think it's a tier. I put it probably right right up here next to this one. I thought it was a good job.
Speaker 3:It's interesting to rank it with all the rest, because it's the only animated one. Mm-hmm. Great job with it, so yeah.
Speaker 1:Again, haven't really seen all these, haven't seen dead pull all the way. Again, I haven't really seen a lot of the next ones. I mean there's Guardians 3. Have you seen that one?
Speaker 3:Yeah, it's pretty good Okay well, that one is like sad, wasn't it?
Speaker 1:Well, a little bit. Yeah, you think so.
Speaker 3:Oh.
Speaker 1:Put it there a chair maybe.
Speaker 3:Go.
Speaker 1:Be we'll put her next to the next one After that. Haven't really seen the rest of these all the way through.
Speaker 3:So I'm seeing clonked a mania.
Speaker 1:Was that one good? That one, I feel like was kind of weird, that one, from what I saw of it.
Speaker 3:It was like it's kind of like the wedding night, you know, like there's a whole lot of building up and then the climax just like came and was over so fast and it's just like you know, you didn't feel like it really got resolved.
Speaker 1:Okay, I'll see right there. Alright, you see, everyone's your camera's not on yeah, I don't think it's Mike's working either. Okay.
Speaker 2:All right, it's cutting in and out. I'm having trouble, oh thank you.
Speaker 3:I thought I heard him, but I wasn't sure All right.
Speaker 1:Do you guys see any other ones that you want to throw up there? I'm not really seeing any other ones that I have enough of an opinion on or have seen all the way through.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I couldn't give you anything else on any of these other ones left.
Speaker 3:Yeah, all right, let's see that S tier again.
Speaker 1:S tier first Guardians, first Iron man, Ragnarok and then the last two of entry movies. I think it's pretty good.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I wouldn't say any other ones really stand out. What's crazy, though, is our A and B are pretty full, so they don't make too many duds.
Speaker 3:They don't, and it's interesting. It's like from right at the beginning of the sequence and right at the end, or whatever you call it right.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 3:That's where kind of the flops kind of came from. But even then they were still decent films, which is comparatively Right, all right.
