My guest this month needs no introduction!
Bari is one of the OGs in the financial wellness industry. Her book The Art of Money changed my life when I read it a few years ago.
Back in the day, when all the info you would find on finances and money was written from a perspective of "do this, not that", discipline and restriction-based, Bari was one of the first people to introduce money as a self-care practice.
Her book offers such a beautiful standpoint on money, finances, and how it can how it blends in to help you create a life you love.
In this episode, we dive into:
- The genesis of Bari's very unique perspective on money management.
- How your small, intangible, unquantifiable money wins that seem simple, like not freaking out when you are paying the bills, are as important as the tangible wins because one will lead to the other.
- Why more money does NOT necessarily mean your financial anxiety will be gone, and why some of our clients might experience MORE anxiety when they start earning more.
- How financial ups and downs are natural and even normal, and how expecting your finances or your net worth to keep going up, is unrealistic!
I hope you enjoy this interview!
