We have graduated one daughter; the other is in high school. We are not fully empty nesting yet, but we have changed our family dynamics from a family of four to having an only child for most of the week, and she is a busy little bee with activities and friends. As we moved into this stage, I had thoughts about what the days would look like and how things would be. I was wrong about several of them.
