Hey family. Welcome back to the Wrong to Strong two Minute Devotional. Today's scripture is Psalms 30, verses 11 to 12. Where David says, you turn my wailing into dancing. You remove my sackcloth and clothe me with joy. That my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord, my God, I will praise you forever. This verse speaks so strongly about the transformation God brings. In Bible times, sackcloth was a rough material. People wore to show mourning or deep sorrow. It represented grief, loss, and even shame. David is saying that God stepped in, took away that season of pain and replaced it with joy, dancing, and praise. Now, think about that spiritually. Before Christ, we all wore a kind of sackcloth. For some of us, it was guilt from past mistakes. For others, it was addiction, broken relationships, or even a lifestyle that only led to emptiness. That's what life without Jesus looks like. Spiritually dead full of regret. But when you encounter Christ, he makes a complete exchange. He doesn't just take away the sackcloth. He clothes you with joy. He gives you forgiveness, hope, and a brand new identity. It's like going from death to life. And notice the result. David says that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. When God truly changes your life, you can't keep quiet about it. Your story becomes your song. What once was shame, now becomes a testimony. That's why here at From Wrong to Strong, we share stories of transformation because when God brings you out of your old life and gives you a new life in Christ, your only response is praise. So here's the challenge. Don't stay silent about what God has done for you. If he's taken your mourning and turned it into joy, tell somebody, share it. Live it. Let your life be a song of praise that points others to Jesus. Let us pray. Father, thank you for taking my sorrow and my shame and replacing it with joy. Thank you for bringing me from death to life through Jesus Christ. Lord, help me to never stay silent, but to share my testimony so that others can find hope in you. In Jesus' name, amen. If this encouraged you, share it with someone who needs to hear that God still transforms lives today. My name is Omar Calvillo, and I am wrong. Too strong.
