Hello, brothers and sisters. This is Omar Calvillo coming to you with another wrong to strong two minute devotional. This is the place where we share stories and scriptures that remind us that God can turn any wrong into something strong. Proverbs 17:17 says, A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for a time of adversity. Now, that's a powerful verse, especially for anyone who's ever gone through hard times or who's ever had a figure out who's real and who's just around for the good days. You see real brotherhood isn't proven in comfort. It's proven in conflict. It's forged in fire. In those moments when life presses down and your options run out behind bars. That truth becomes real fast. You find out who stands with you when everything falls apart. But you also see something beautiful. Men from different backgrounds, even men who used to be enemies, learning to look out for each other. Adversity has a way of stripping away pride and exposing the heart. That's what this verse is talking about. A friend loves at all times. That means steady, dependable, not just when it's easy. And the brother, he's born for the battle. He shows up when things get dark. I've seen it over and over. Men who once stood on opposite sides. Now standing side by side. That's what God does. He breaks down walls that hate built and replaces them with the kind of love that can only come from Him. The Bible says in Galatians 6:2, carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. That's what brotherhood is all about. Not just talking about love, but carrying it out. And in Ecclesiastes four verses nine through ten, it says two are better than one. Because if either of them falls, one can help the other up. That's why we need each other. None of us were built to do this life alone. So whether you're in a cell, in a shop, or sitting at home, I want you to think about the brother's God's place in your life. Who's walked with you through adversity? And maybe who have you walked away from because of pride, hurt, or misunderstanding? Real brothers don't just show up when things are easy, they stay when it's hard. If you got someone like that in your life, thank God for them. And if you don't pray that He sends one, because sometimes the people God sends in your adversity aren't there to hurt you, They're there to help you heal. Brothers, never forget God uses adversity to reveal who's real. He turns rivals into brothers. enemies into allies, and pain into purpose. Keep loving, keep forgiving, and keep walking with God. Share this message. Make sure you like and subscribe to our channel. I'm Omar Calvillo and I am wrong to strong.
