From Wrong To Strong
Born in the heart of Chicago, this podcast brings you raw, unfiltered stories of transformation from people who’ve lived through real darkness — former gang members, ex-inmates, survivors of trauma, police officers, chaplains, and community voices.
These conversations carry the grit of Chicago’s streets and the grace of a God who still heals and restores. Every episode is honest, emotional, and rooted in the truth that no life is beyond redemption.
If you want stories that challenge you, strengthen your faith, and remind you that God can turn any life from wrong to strong — you’re in the right place.
Real Chicago. Real stories. Real redemption.

From Wrong To Strong
Week #50 - 2-Minute Devotional w/ Salvador Torres
In this From Wrong to Strong – 2-Minute Devotional, Salvador Torres shares a powerful reminder from Romans 12:1: our bodies are meant to be living sacrifices. Physical discipline, stewardship, and obedience are not about perfection, they’re acts of worship. What we do with our bodies reflects who we live for.

This is Salvador Torres, and this is the wrong to strong two minute devotional. Romans 12, one says, I appeal to you, therefore brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. You see, our bodies are not meant to be a burden. See, God designed our bodies as a tool for worship. Romans 12, one reminds us that how we care for our physical health is an act of spiritual obedience. Don't miss that. How we care for our physical health is an act of spiritual obedience, which means that every workout that we do or that we don't do, every disciplined meal that we eat, every moment that we deny our flesh. And choose. Stewardship is part of presenting your body to God. You don't need perfection, but you do need submission. So keep showing up, keep sacrificing, keep living in obedience to God. What you do with your body reflects your worship. So understand men, we are called for greatness. Giving our body to God is an act of our worship. And when we do this, the Lord Jesus Christ blesses us. And the blessings continue to come. This is Salvador Torres, and I am wrong to strong.
