From Wrong To Strong
Born in the heart of Chicago, this podcast brings you raw, unfiltered stories of transformation from people who’ve lived through real darkness. Former gang members, ex-inmates, survivors of trauma, police officers, chaplains, and community voices.
These conversations carry the grit of Chicago’s streets and the grace of a God who still heals and restores. Every episode is honest, emotional, and rooted in the truth that no life is beyond redemption.
If you want stories that challenge you, strengthen your faith, and remind you that God can turn any life from wrong to strong, you’re in the right place.
Real Chicago. Real stories. Real redemption.

Beautiful Feet and Bold Testimony | From Wrong To Strong Devotional
In this week’s From Wrong To Strong Devotional, we reflect on what Scripture means when it says, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news” (Romans 10:15). This verse isn’t really about feet, it’s about movement, obedience, and a willingness to go.
The gospel was never meant to stay private. One of the most powerful ways God spreads the good news is through testimony. The real stories of lives changed by Jesus. Revelation 12:11 reminds us that believers overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
In this devotional, we talk about stewarding the story God has given you, sharing the gospel with courage, and trusting God with the results. You don’t need a platform, just obedience and a willingness to share what Jesus has done.
If this encouraged you, consider sharing it with someone who needs hope today.

Hello, this is Omar Calvillo and welcome to the From Wrong to Strong Two Minute Devotional. Where we share stories of redemption that point people to Christ. Scripture tells us how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news, Romans 10:15. That verse isn't really about feet. It's about movement. It's about people who are willing to go, willing to step into uncomfortable spaces, willing to open their mouths and share what God has done. The gospel was never meant to stay private. It's personal, yes, but never private. And one of the most powerful ways God spreads the good news isn't just through sermons or pulpits, it's through testimony. Revelation 12:11 reminds us they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. Notice the order. The power is in the blood of Jesus, but the testimony is how that victory gets told, remembered, and passed on. Your testimony matters not because it's dramatic, not because it's polished, but because it's real. It's proof that Jesus still saves. Still restores, still redeems. Someone may argue theology, but they can't argue what God has done in your life. As we release this devotional, it's especially meaningful for us. My wife and I will be sharing our testimony in the upcoming issue of Victorious Living Magazine. Not because our story is special, but because God is! And if he can meet us, where he met us and found us. He can meet anyone. That's the heartbeat of this ministry. That's the direction we're leaning into as we step into 2026. This year, we're taking the ministry to the next level, not by chasing platforms, but by stewarding stories. By sharing the gospel clearly. By sharing testimonies courageously, by putting some miles on those beautiful feet God has given us. You don't need a microphone to do that. You don't need a magazine feature. You just need obedience, a conversation, a moment, a willingness to say, this is who I was. This is what Jesus did, and this is who I am now. God will handle the results he always has. Thank you for spending a few minutes with us on the From Wrong To Strong two minute devotional. If this encouraged you, share it with someone who needs hope today. Until next time, keep pressing forward. Keep sharing your story. And remember, we are all on a mission from God. My name is Omar Calvillo, and I am wrong. Too strong.
