In this From Wrong to Strong Weekly Devotional, Cisco Terrazas reflects on the powerful message of 1 Corinthians 13:4–7, 13 and why love stands above every other spiritual gift. The Apostle Paul reminds us that faith, knowledge, service, and even sacrifice mean nothing without love.

This devotional explores what biblical love truly looks like, how it reveals our identity as followers of Christ, and why love must be the foundation of our faith and ministry. Drawing from John 13:35, 1 John 4:8, and Colossians 3:14, we are reminded that love is not just something God shows us. Love is who God is.

If we want to grow in spiritual maturity, leadership, and influence, we must pursue love above all things. Because when our gifts are expressed through love, they become instruments of grace that reflect Christ to the world.

A short, powerful devotional calling believers to examine whether their gifts are being used through love or pride.

Hello, brothers and sisters. This is Cisco RAAs coming to you from another, from wrong to strong, weak Devotional. Today I'd like to focus on the gift of love and how it is one of the greatest gifts above all others. In one Corinthians 13, four through seven and verse 13, the Apostle Paul paints a picture of love that goes far beyond the motion. Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. And then Paul makes it unmistakably clear. Now these three remain faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love. Notice what Paul is saying. You can speak with eloquence, you can prophecy, you can serve, you can sacrifice. You can operate in powerful spiritual gifts, but without love, it means nothing. Love is not an accessory to our faith. It is the evidence of it. Jesus reinforces this in John 1335. When he says, the world will know, we are his disciples by our love for one another. Not by our knowledge, not by our gifts, not by our platforms, but by love. And in John four A, we are reminded that whoever does not love, does not know God because God is love Love is not just something God does. It is who He is in collages three 14. It tells us to put on love, which binds everything together in perfect unity. Love holds the body of Christ together. Love strengthens marriages, love restores, broken hearts, love reflects Christ. If we want to grow in our calling, our influence and our spiritual maturity, we must grow in love because without love, our gifts are noise. But with love, our gifts become instruments of grace. Love in a way also keeps us humble for many circumstances. Let me leave you with this reflection. Are the gifts God has given you being expressed through love or through pride? May we pursue love above all because when we walk in love, we walk most like Christ. I am. And I am from wrong to strong.
