Hello family. This is Omar Calvillo with From Wrong to Strong Ministries. Today I want to take you into a powerful scene in scripture found in Revelation chapter five. This is not just the vision of heaven. This is a revelation of redemption. And if you've ever wondered how your story fits into God's bigger plan, this chapter answers that. The scripture we're gonna be focusing on is Revelation chapter five, verses nine through 10. And it says, and they sang a new song saying You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were slain and with your blood, you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God and they will reign on the earth. In Revelation chapter five, John sees a throne in heaven and God the father is seated on it, holding a scroll. This scroll represents God's plan. His authority, His final purposes. But there's a problem. No one is found worthy to open it. Not the elders, not the angels. No one. And the Bible says, John begins to weep. Why? Because if no one can open the scroll, then redemption cannot be fully carried out. Justice is delayed. Restoration is incomplete, but then everything changes. One of the elders tells John, do not weep. See, the lion of the tribe of Judah has triumphed. And when John looks, he doesn't see a lion. He sees a lamb. A lamb that looks like it had been slain, that lamb is Jesus. This is powerful because it shows us something about how Jesus conquered not through force, not through power as the world defines it. But through sacrifice and because he was slain, He is now worthy. Worthy to open the scroll, worthy to carry out God's plan. Worthy to redeem what was lost. Now, here's where this connects to you and me. Revelation five, nine says that Jesus purchased people for God with his blood. That means your life is not random. Your story is not an accident. If you've been redeemed, it's because you were purchased. That's why Psalm 107:2 says, let the be redeemed of the LORD tell their story. Your testimony is not just a story. It is evidence of what the lamb has done. But here's the key. The focus is not just the story. The focus is the lamb. Your story matters because it points back to him. Jesus opens what we cannot. There's another powerful truth here. No one could open the scroll. In the same way. There are things in life we cannot fix on our own. Broken past regret, shame. Chains that feel too heavy. Some people feel like their life is sealed shut. But Revelation five shows us that what no one else can open, Jesus can. He steps in where we fall short. He redeems what looks impossible. Revelation five, verse 10 says that Jesus didn't just save us. He made us a kingdom and priests to serve God. Think about that transformation, from broken to called, from bound to serving, from wrong to strong. God doesn't just bring you out. He brings you into purpose. 1 Peter 2:9 says, you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. That's your assignment, not just to be free, but to declare it. The end goal is worship. The chapter ends with all of Heaven worshiping. The elders, the angels, all creation, and they are all saying the same thing. Worthy is the Lamb. That's the goal. Not just freedom, not just restoration. Worship. Your story is meant to lead people there. So here's the question. If the Lamb gave his life for you, what are you doing with yours? Are you telling your story? Are you pointing people back to Him? Because your testimony is not just for you. It's part of a greater song that heaven is already singing. Family. Never forget this. The Lamb is the reason your story didn't end where it should have. You were purchased, not just patched up, and now your life carries purpose. Be encouraged, be bold and let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story. My name is Omar Calvillo, and through Jesus Christ, I've gone from darkness to light and from wrong to strong.
