What does it really mean to say “God is with you” when life isn’t going your way?

In Holy Grit | Week 3, Pastor T teaches on the nearness of God and reminds us that God’s presence is not proven by comfort, but by faithfulness. Through the life of Joseph, we see that God was near in the house, in temptation, and even in prison — not removing the trial, but sustaining His servant through it.

When we trust that the Lord is near, we gain resilience, holiness, and hope — even before deliverance comes. God’s immanence doesn’t mean life will be easy; it means we are never alone.
