The New York Rangers are hurting, but I think the fans are hurting more. In the last week, the vibes have taken a complete nose dive, and Rangers upper management sent out a major flare to the team, essentially promising moves will be made to swap out players. In a game where you would expect a huge bounce back performance, the Blueshirts confirmed what a lot of people were already saying; something has to change. The players implicated? Jacob Trouba and Chris Kreider- two of their current locker room leaders. In fairness, Kreider was absent from tonight's contest, but the former of those two was a traffic cone all game. We chat with Bruins beat reporter Andrew Fantucchio about the start of the young season. The Bruins of course just fired the St. Louis Blues new head coach Jim Montgomery, as both teams attempt to right the ship after slow starts.
