We've gotten to see a few games really just by what's on the field these days. we look at the s and p plus, which has been updated through three weeks, we've fallen a little bit after Alabama. we're down to one 15. Good news is there's 10 teams from our conference that are 100 or above, so we're all kind of in the same area. but out of the nine remaining games, seven teams are above us and just two are below us. the two. Below us are Yukon and Charlotte, by the way. It's gonna be one of the ones where we gotta beat, we gotta punch up. So a little bit. We're still, it's not necessarily one we're predicted to win, but it's winnable.

Track 1:so if the goal is, I don't know how many wins, six wins. Let's just keep that as the goal for now. I guess it's not my goal, but, if it's, I would say that's the average fan's goal of, hey, this is a successful season, making it to a bowl game. then this is one you gotta win.

Rice is up 28 to nothing in this game should have won. Going away with it, Houston battled back, took a double OT where rice did actually hold on for the win 43 to 41 in double OT on a failed two point conversion by Houston.

Track 1:coach Go. Talked about it. I agree with him. We need early rhythm Both on early in the game and early downs. The first down he wanted, and I think you talked about this too in the recap of short passes, we don't need to go for the home run shot right off the bat. Let's make some completions easy passes, get Byron Brown in a rhythm, find some wide receivers who can emerge and get there, head in the game, get their confidence up. Especially maybe some of the young wide receivers who haven't really found a way to get in the game yet. or just stick with Sean Atkins and Pound away there. But then you do still have to take the right shots, whether that's with some trick plays like you talked about, or finding the holes in their coverage for when they start bringing those safeties up, those types of things. But don't just take a shot to take a shot. Make sure it's gonna call it, dial it up. And last thing is stay aggressive. That's on fourth down, that's in play calling. Just'cause the last week. We can't assume that's how we're gonna have to try and win a game of three to three and late game defense holding on. we gotta go out there.
