Sanjay is a founder and managing partner at Cascades Property Solutions, LLC. CPS has purchased, operated, or invested in over 800 "doors" and over 1.6 million square feet of retail space in projects valued at over $300 million as both limited and general partners.
Prior to investing in real estate, Sanjay built a successful 26 year career as a Software Engineer/Product Manager/Data Scientist. He was able to earn 2 patents that enabled his company to provide the premier fleet tracking system for the delivery of construction materials.
Sanjay and his wife, Meeta, have 2 Eagle Scout sons. In his personal time, Sanjay volunteered as scoutmaster for his sons' troop for 6 years as well as helping to train other scout leaders as a council-level trainer. He now volunteers as a district commissioner and works with multiple troops. He also serves as a District Eagle Representative and guides potential Eagle Scout candidates.
With the scout troop, Sanjay has hiked sections of the Appalachian Trail, backpacked in Alaska, canoed through the Boundary Water/Quetico, snorkeled the waters of the Florida Keys, and rafted down the rapids of the New and Gauley Rivers.
Wanting to spend more time with his family and scouting, Sanjay started investing in real estate in 2017 before leaving his job in 2019.
Sanjay and his wife Meeta started by fixing and flipping houses in the Washington, DC metro area before building their passive income through buying and holding houses and investing in limited partnerships. They are now concentrating on building their portfolio as general partners.
