Hey, my loves and welcome back. I am so glad you're here today, if you're new, I'm Shannon and this space is all about manifesting from the inside out. No forcing, no pretending, no skipping the deep stuff, just real conversations to help you live the life your soul already knows is yours. And with that being said, let's talk about what manifesting actually is and what it's definitely not. Because if you've ever found yourself saying I'm manifesting this when you're really just setting a goal or daydreaming without action, then, babe, it is time that we clear it up. What manifesting is gets so tangled up in the world of vision boards, hustle culture and airy fairy fantasies, and then we blur these lines. You end up doubting your power or, worse, you think that manifestation doesn't work. The good news is is that manifesting does work. You just need to know how to separate manifesting from goal setting and or wishful thinking. So grab your favorite drink, cozy up and let's unblur the lines so you can tap into your manifestation power.
Speaker 1:The first thing I want to talk about is goal setting, because goal setting is logical, it's practical and it's rooted in your current timeline. What is already accessible to you? You look at where you are, you decide what you want and then you create a plan to get there. I want you to think smart goals, to-do list, step-by-step action plans. It's grounded in what you already know how to do and what is already obtainable. There is nothing wrong with that. Goal setting is an incredibly useful, especially when you're building something based on your current skills and reality. But it doesn't require you to expand into something new. It works with that current timeline and you're just getting something new. It works with that current timeline and you're just getting something you want, even if it's limited per se by your current reality. And, once again, that doesn't mean that's a negative thing. It's okay to set goals to access what you want. It just doesn't require you to believe something beyond what you already believe, what you've already experienced or what you're already experiencing. And that's where manifestation is different.
Speaker 1:But before we get into manifesting, let's stop over at wishful thinking, because this can be a very blurred line, because you're like oh, I'm not setting goals, it's not tangible. And this blurred line of wishful thinking comes in because many gurus are like just think about what you want. Well, babes, if you could think all day and something happened, then we would all have everything we want already, because we wishful think a lot as human beings, and that's imagination and that's beautiful. And many times thinking and daydreaming helps us to find clarity in what it is that we truly want to manifest in our life. But wishful thinking could sound like wouldn't it be nice if I could quit my job? Oh, I just want to quit. I'd love to be in a house like that someday, or maybe I'll win the lottery one day.
Speaker 1:It is dreamy, yes, but it's also passive. You're not actually expecting it to happen, you're just flirting with the idea of it. It's like reading a good book series where you make up a. I read it. Listen to the graphic audio, which, side note, graphic audios are the coolest thing ever, not to be mistaken with regular audiobooks. But I digress. I will always think of that as a nice story that is so fun to engage in. But that's it. Wishful thinking is the same, but you make it a story with yourself and your imaginary world, but it doesn't change your beliefs, it doesn't invite new action. It keeps your desire stuck in the nice-to-have category instead of moving it to your timeline. So if goal setting is grounded and wishful thinking is floating, then manifesting is this beautiful action between the two, then manifesting is this beautiful action between the two, and it's all about frequency shifting. Manifesting is the conscious choice to change your beliefs so that a new possibility becomes available to you. It's saying I might not see how this can happen yet, but I'm willing to believe it can. I'm willing to become the version of me who has it. You may have some programming or limiting beliefs that don't allow you to say I actually believe this right now, but you have the willingness to address those things with action, to move to the thing you're trying to bring into your reality. The key is that manifesting is not about forcing and it's also not about faking. It is about aligning your thoughts, emotions and actions with a future version of you, one who already lives in that reality. You don't wait for the evidence. You become the evidence. When you become the evidence, your 3D world has no choice but to rearrange itself to comply.
Speaker 1:Two years ago I decided that I wanted to prove you didn't have to work every second of your life or hustle yourself into exhaustion to receive wealth. This whole have seven side hustles on your current timeline is the only way to get ahead was absolutely unappealing to me. I decided to believe it must be possible to have money flow that wasn't tied to work or output. And I know that seems nuts and some people told me it was not reality or realistic. Duh, it wasn't my reality. But I decided that I was willing to believe it was possible and I was going to make it my new reality. I got clear on my desire. I wanted to receive five figures a month that I didn't have to work for. I didn't care where it came from, so long as it wasn't tied to my output. Now, just three months shy of the two-year mark, guess what? I receive five figures a month that I don't work for, and this has been true every month, consistently, not just here or there, this is just my life now.
Speaker 1:It took about a month for this to manifest into my reality. When I started the process and I didn't sit back and think about how cool it would be I actively aligned myself to this reality. I used the Abraham Hicks money game daily, I meditated with the visualization process of my vision diary to put myself in that reality through my thoughts and emotions, and I took action by not trying to earn more money. In this scenario, the action was inaction, because I was trying to release the tie between money and work. So when I was tempted to hustle for extra money, I had to pause because I was rewiring myself to break that program. And that is how manifestation works.

Now that we have drawn the lines between goals, wishes and true manifestation, let's talk about what it actually takes to manifest something. The first thing that I will always say is decide what you want, not what you should want, not what is realistic, but what do you really want? And name it. And name it clearly.
Speaker 1:When I was working towards my five figures a month, it needed to be clear Five figures a month that I don't have to work for. I did not care where the money came from. I wasn't like oh, I hope I win the lottery, let me start playing. No, I just wanted consistent income every single month. I didn't want a one-time thing, I wanted it to be consistent. So what do you really want? It doesn't have to be realistic. What do you want? Realistic is your current timeline. You don't have to stay stuck on your current timeline. That's your current reality. What are you trying to move towards? To make a new reality? That's the whole point. You're making a new reality, so why would it be realistic?
Speaker 1:The second thing is to check your belief system, because what would you need to believe about yourself and the world to receive this? What would that belief need to be? For mine, what I needed to believe is that I'm worthy simply because I exist and I make five figures a month without having to work for it. But then I had to notice any resistance or disbelief. So you need to say what do you need to believe to make this reality happen about yourself and the world? And then notice any of that resistance or disbelief that you may have, because that's your current frequency talking, that's your current subconscious programming, that guides 95% of your life, that creates 95% of your reality, and that's what you need to target that resistance, because I'm going to tell you, when I wanted that five figures a month I still really felt like I had to work for it. I was like maybe I can find a passive income cycle and build that up and work towards it and then maybe it'll work for me. But that really wasn't what I was trying to do. But that was my current frequency, trying to keep me in my current reality that work is tied to money. So what is that resistance for you?
Speaker 1:The third thing is to choose a new belief. And, guys, you do not have to believe it 100% right away, you just have to practice the belief. And, guys, you do not have to believe it 100% right away, you just have to practice the belief. The more you practice it, the more you believe it. I'm teaching my son how to drive right now, and the more he practices, the better he gets, the less I have to give him guidance or instruction. It's just about repetition. You have to practice the new belief until it gets so ingrained in you that it becomes the actual belief, replacing the other one. That is the root of manifestation Choosing a belief before it's proven and actively working with your subconscious to build a replacement belief that matches your desire.
Speaker 1:The fourth thing is to align emotionally. You have to feel it and you have to embody it. Dude, you cannot fake it till you make it. You have to truly embody it. Fake it till you make it drives me crazy, because it's literally that it's fake. You don't even believe it, you don't believe what you're doing or saying, so it's never going to take root. You truly have to embody it. Ask if you already had it, how would you feel and live in that feeling? How would you show up and show up in that way with that feeling? See, fake it till you make. It is like you show up and you go through the emotions, but there's no feeling attached to it. No, embodying is full on. It is your thoughts, it is your emotions, it is your actions. It's just this GPS into your new timeline and getting them all in sync. You don't have to see it, I feel it. I just have this knowing. It's that internal knowing that takes hold, and that's when I say we manifest from the inside out, not going through the motions in the world, but from the inside out, from those feelings that translate into how you're showing up and how you're moving.
Speaker 1:The fifth thing is to take aligned action. Once again, not about hustling or setting goals, because when we talk about aligned action, a lot of people throw it into that goal setting. It's really about listening. It's about the nudges, the ideas, the random urges to trying something new. Follow those, because that is your frequency shifting in motion. It's behaving in the way that a person who already has the desires behaves, whoever she is to you. Yes, I wanted five figures a month that I didn't have to work for, but that doesn't mean I put myself into debt to align to being able to spend that money. But I did align, using the money game, and I made it feel so real in my bones that that was actually my money, even though it was a money game. But that was my money and I was spending it and I was able to accomplish the action in the same way.
Speaker 1:And number six is to let go of the timeline, because you are not in charge of how or when. Your job is belief and alignment. You don't know how because it's not on your timeline yet. So the more you try to plan it, the more you're going to revert to your old programming that keeps the desire at arm's length, and I know that we all want to know when, and that is the hardest thing to let go of. But we have got to let go of timing.
Speaker 1:The moment the belief takes hold is when it happens. The moment the belief takes hold is when it happens, because when you believe it, truly, believe it in that subconscious mind not your conscious mind but when you've got it programmed now into your subconscious mind, that's when your reality rearranges to match it. So if you focus more on building the belief and if you put your energy into that alignment and getting that belief so embedded into you that it becomes a part of who you are, you're going to collapse timelines sooner, because that is the work. So stop thinking oh my gosh, well, I need this to happen in my life by September. No, what you need to have happen and this is just some tough love mom moment here but what you need to have happen is to believe and work on the belief, because you're sitting over there not building the belief. You're sitting over there thinking I need this to happen by the end of September and it's not happening. Why isn't it happening? And you're focusing on everything but the belief. Just build the belief. It'll happen when it happens and I'm going to tell you that some things are going to be easier and some things are going to be harder, and that's just the truth. And if I told you anything different, then I would be doing you a disservice.
Speaker 1:Some beliefs that you have, your current programming, are so tied into so many things in your life that it may be harder to manifest them, to replace them and to build new beliefs, because they're interconnected with other beliefs. There's these intersections. Our beliefs aren't compartmentalized, they're intertwined because life isn't compartmentalized. They're intertwined because life isn't compartmentalized. So when you're building these beliefs, sometimes you are going to make a little progress and maybe you don't get all the way to the desire, but that's because you've dismantled one limitation and you've built up something new and you have to keep going. Other times it's going to happen really quickly and it's different and it's unique for everyone.
Speaker 1:This is something that I map out with the people that I work with so that we can see where it's making all of these connections, so that we can truly start to build beliefs, to target those things, without it being overwhelming Like holy shit, I have to fix all this stuff. You don't have to fix everything at one time. As a matter of fact, you can focus on one area and one desire, and when you focus on one area and one desire and when you focus on one area and one desire, it is going to have a ripple effect to other things because everything is connected. But I don't want you to be discouraged if that final outcome doesn't happen right away, because you're getting closer and I'm going to need you to recognize that, even if your desire was to live in a million dollar home. But you know what? You just got approved for a $500,000 home when before you started the work, you wouldn't have gotten qualified for a home at all.
Speaker 1:Guess what? You're still collapsing timelines, you're still manifesting something and it doesn't mean you give up on the million dollar home. It means cool, I'm going to step into this $500,000 home and I'm going to love it and I'm going to appreciate it and I'm going to continue the work. And you keep doing the work and then you get the million dollar home and you're like, oh my gosh, amazing. And no, ma'am, not goal setting. That is still not goal setting. It is goal setting if you want to say I am going to buy a starter home, live in it for two years and I'm going to rent it out and buy another home and whatever that process is that people do. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about someone who said I would never qualify for a home. I didn't have the income for the home, but the belief you were working on was the home and somehow or another, the income came. Something happened in your life that was completely unexpected, that gave you like the biggest down payment in the world and you just could not have even imagined it. And guess what? Now you can get a $500,000 home and then you just keep working.
Speaker 1:Some quick daily practices you can do is to ask yourself each morning who am I today? Because whoever you are today is who creates your future tomorrow. So who am I today? Am I the person who is already living that reality? Use a belief upgrade journal to rewrite one old story per day Because, like I said a lot of times, our beliefs are interconnected. So maybe you rewrite this is why I'm struggling with relationships. That's one reason and here's another reason. And then you rewrite those stories and taking the action behind the story. Please don't just write the story, but like use it as a guide on how to take the action Aligned action, not goal setting. I'm just going to keep re-emphasizing that and then practice embodying your future self in small, doable ways. We've talked about not shocking your nervous system. You don't want to shock your nervous system, but you still do want to embody your future self in small, doable ways.
Speaker 1:Manifesting isn't just about thinking positive thoughts or writing your desires 50 times a day on a sticky note or planning ABC steps to get you where you're trying to go. It's about becoming the person who can receive what you want. It's about changing your inner world so powerfully that your outer world can't help but catch up. What are you manifesting right now and, more importantly, who are you becoming to match it? Choose the new belief, feel into that version of you and take aligned actions.
