idea and the goal of this series is not that you individually would be that lone fish going against everything else coming up against you, although if that is the case, that's still what should God which we also then give. 00:06:11.199 --> 00:06:16.079 Begin reading with me in Romans chapter 12, beginning in verse 1. 00:06:18.560 --> 00:06:36.639 It says, I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 00:06:37.199 --> 00:06:42.079 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. 00:06:43.120 --> 00:06:51.279 That by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. 00:06:52.160 --> 00:07:00.240 In many ways, Romans chapter 12, verses 1 and 2 is like the heading upon which the rest of the book goes underneath. 00:07:00.560 --> 00:07:08.480 This verse is going to be ones that we're gonna come back to each and every week because it tells us this idea that we've called the kingdom culture. 00:07:08.639 --> 00:07:14.399 It has this idea of a transformed living of you looking differently than everybody else. 00:07:14.480 --> 00:07:22.959 And it's saying here this principle that really is the principle for today, but in many ways it could be the principle for every week about how we were all sin and fall short of the glory of God. 00:08:29.439 --> 00:08:34.480 It begins to talk about how we have a gift that has been given to us, the gift of eternal life. 00:08:34.639 righteousness in exchange for his sin. 00:08:46.000 --> 00:09:02.960 I mean, on and on and on, it kind of culminates to where last week we talked about the crescendo, the doxology at the end of Romans blessed you, and all of the ways which he's been good to you, and all the ways, even in your trials, when he's using those things to accomplish something very, very good in you, then the only thing 00:14:45.120 And so, because of that, what I have found is this is that God desires for me to use my body, which can be exhausted, shuttling people back and forth all of the time, not as an excuse,
