Meet Pastor Matt Lenahan, who in his early childhood and youth vehemently declared he would not be a farmer for his chosen profession-as he spent many hours under a hot sun planting and harvesting the vegetables on his family’s farm in upstate New York.
After entering the ministry as a Lutheran Pastor, however, Matt’s unrelenting passion for ending hunger and food insecurity landed him on the Wittel Farm In Elizabethtown PA where he and his team of hundreds if not thousands of volunteers plant, tend to, and harvest thousands of pounds of fresh vegetables to be distributed to those who would not have access to fresh produce.
