Welcome , zen friend . I hope , wherever you are , you are doing well . This is our last meditation in the month of December . It is time to give yourself the gift of a break , of taking some time for some peace and calm for yourself . So let's get started by finding a nice , comfortable spot where you could sit or even lie down in , if you could lie down . I invite you to lie down and really begin to surrender . We'll begin by closing our eyes and just connect with your body .
Speaker 1Sometimes we are so busy being up in our heads that we get very disconnected from our body and body sensations . So just check in and just see what you notice . Let things be just as they are , but just bring your attention to any emotions that are coming up , bring your attention to any physical sensations . I'll now invite you to imagine there's a beautiful , soft white light right above your head and as that beautiful light starts to shine down on the crown of your head , it starts to bring a sense of calm and peace to you . Noticing that light as now it starts to move down your face , the back of your head , the sides of your head and ears , feeling a gentle warmth , and then down to the tops of your shoulders and just notice how , with that beautiful warm light shining down on you , you feel a little calmer perhaps . And then let that light move across the tops of your shoulders , down your arms to your fingertips , really seeing it and feeling it Down across your torso to your waist , down across your pelvis and your hips , moving down towards your knees , across the front and backs of your legs and then all the way to the tips of your toes , so that you are surrounded in this beautiful gentle white light .
Speaker 1Just staying here , seeing it , feeling it how well can you feel that gentle warmth , can you let a sense of peace and calm into your body ? Just staying here , letting yourself rest and surrender . You've been working hard and this is time that you can rest and let go , with nowhere to be and nothing to do , but to be here in this beautiful light . We'll stay here with it for just another moment . Of course , you are invited to stay here as long as you wish , if you do feel a sense of calm and peace , a reminder that you can come back and return to that sensation , those emotions , at any time , if you are ready to return . Take a deep breath in , exhale slowly and completely and see if you can bring that sense of peace and calm into your life as you move through the rest of the day .
