Welcome to a new podcast – The Story that Changes Everything. This podcast was created to help you take a guided tour through the Bible in a year.
My name is Dr. Scott Daniels. For the last 30 years I’ve been both a pastor and professor. One of my great joys is helping people discover The Story that Changes Everything as it is given to us in both the Old and New Testaments. I know it’s a big commitment to read the Scripture in its entirety, but I believe God will honor that commitment and your life will be changed in the process. Our goal in this podcast is to make your reading and study as meaningful as possible.
I’ll be guiding you through approximately three chapters a day. The journey begins with the first three chapters of the first book in the Bible: Genesis. There are many translations of Bible available. I will be using a translation called the Common English Bible. Use whichever translation is available to you, the more readable the better.
This podcast is being launched October 1, 2022, and I know several people will join us then. However, you may start this journey any time. And between you and me, if you don’t quite complete the journey in a year, that’s not a problem. Go at your own pace. I don’t believe God is interested in you going fast as much as God desires to be known in fullness by you.
