Are you living in a state of "peaceful happiness," or are you caught in a cycle of constant striving? In this episode, we explore the biblical "sweet spot" of emotional fulfillment: contentment.

Drawing from 1 Timothy 6:6, we discuss how "godliness with contentment is great gain" and why having an ease of mind regarding your current situation is one of the most powerful attributes you can possess. We move beyond just talking about the Word to actively "hiding it in our hearts." This week, we focus on memorizing and meditating on key scriptures—like Psalm 146:5—to shift our mindset from "I have to" to "I get to," allowing God's peace to lead us to greater productivity and joy in every area of life.

God really wants us to equate. Just like two plus two is four. Oh, peace and contentment and happiness means I'm with God. Oh, happiness, I'm all about God. Happiness, he's always with me. Happiness, I'm all learning all about him.

SPEAKER_03

Welcome. Come on in. Come on in. Welcome to the Hundredfold Podcast, an extension of Hundredfold Ministry with Pastor Vanessa Holland, where we seek to deepen our relationship with the Lord as we study his word and worship. Today, we're exploring that sweet spot of emotional fulfillment as we continue to discuss contentment. We'll be defining what it means to have a peaceful mind in any situation, and most importantly, we're spending time together memorizing and meditating on God's word to hide it in our hearts. Let's start the journey towards great king.

SPEAKER_04

Everybody say hallelujah, content. And that to be content and um contentment brings so many good attributes. We're going to um start by reading one verse, just because it's always good to read a verse, but we're gonna go through them all. Um, and so the first verse we'll read is 1 Timothy 6, verse 6. And it says, but godliness with contentment is great gain. Everybody say it with me. Say, but godliness with contentment is great gain. Hallelujah. So the message today is gonna be a little bit different. We're gonna have like a little sermon at in the beginning, and then we're going to work on getting some of this word in our heart, memorizing and meditating on the word, because when we hide the word of God in our heart, we are sincerely blessed. So let's start by talking a little bit about contentment and what is the definition of contentment, amen. So when I looked up some of the definitions, they were very powerful indeed. I'll share, um, I'll share it with you. It says, Contentment is a state of peaceful happiness. Everybody say peace and happy, and happy. You want some peace, and you want to be happy. Okay, contentment is a state of peaceful happiness, satisfaction, and an ease of mind with one's current possessions, status, or situation. An ease of mind. When you think about your week, day, month, year, lifetime. When you think about it, do you feel like, oh, I'm so easy going, or does it, oh, a lot of stress. Sometimes when we're excited about events coming up, you hear heard earlier in the sermon we got a graduation and may come in and we've got future things happening. Maybe there's midterm exams. We're praying for all of our students. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name, we know that God will bless. When we think about all of God's um gifts to us, I word it that way on purpose. So usually we say all the stuff we have to do, but it's really what we get to do. That's if we change that mindset alone, that's going to give us a lot more ease. That, oh, instead of I have to do this and I have to do this, oh yay, I get to do this and I get to do that. When we think about God's gifts to us, that we get to do, sometimes it can be stressful. But if we hear this definition, it says contentment is a state of peacefulness, peaceful happiness, satisfaction, and ease of mind with one's current possessions, status, or situation. It involves appreciating the present rather than longing for more, representing a sweet spot of emotional fulfillment. It feels so good to be happy. It's worth pursuing it. If you didn't hear last week, go back and hear last week's sermon. It was a blessing indeed. Hallelujah. That, oh, God wants us to stop always striving and longing. I had a conversation with some of the ministers this week, and we were reflecting on when you're actually content, happy, and fulfilled with where you are, so many more things get accomplished than when you're trying to strive for something, et cetera. For example, if my house is a mess, oh my goodness, sometimes I can be like, oh, this is so stressed, it's such a mess, I gotta get it clean, try for weeks with no progress. But if I'm happy and content and high on the Lord and we're so glow, so glorious happy, so much progress in one day. I've seen the same thing in different ventures of my life, whether it's trying to uh uh progress in my career or be um more productive as a family member, a wife, a mother person, hallelujah, young lady in the Lord. You never want to forget that self-care, hallelujah, or what if it's about um health and weight, weight, weight management, no matter what, God always does more when we're content in Him. When that condemnation demon isn't saying, you should be here and you should be there, and why am I not this? So we know that it's a blessing to pursue being happy and to have peace. So those are the first two scriptures we're going that um outside of our memorization scriptures, those are the two scriptures we're gonna look at today. So the first scripture there is going to be Psalm one forty-six, verse five. And when you have Psalm one forty-six, verse five, say amen. Psalm one forty-six, verse five. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. During the time of um of this, our reading, there are so many false gods. But happy is he that has the God of Jacob, the one true living God, the one who created everything, the one you can only access through Jesus Christ, his son, who he sent through the blood of Jesus, his salvation power. Happy is he, happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. If you remember last week, or if you just join us for the first time, this week, that the key to contentment, to happiness is coming to the Lord. God the Father, Jesus the Son, God the Holy Spirit. That Lord God, I come to you. I want to know about you, I want to see what you're all about. I want to spend time with you. That if I need help, I'm not running to every single other person in the world before I come to God. I go to God first because the God of Jacob is my help. The one true God. Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. That, oh, I'm not trying to trust in that. Oh, if I get rich, I could do this. If I get these friends, I could do this. If I look this way, it would be like this. No, my hope, what I'm looking forward to, the hope that makes me excited is God, I'm pleasing you. God, I'm in your presence, God, I'm fellowshipping with you. Lord God, you are my hope. You are my joy, you are my delight, and I trust in you. Happy is he that hath got the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. In our second verse, Isaiah 26, 3. When you have it say, happy and peace.

SPEAKER_02

Happy and peace.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen. Isaiah twenty six verse three says this. Isaiah twenty-six verse three says this. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. I'll read it again. Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusted in thee. Our first line of that definition of contentment said, peaceful happiness. This is peaceful happiness. That if you trust in God, if your mind is stayed on God, God will keep you in perfect peace. How often are you thinking about the Lord? How often are you speaking about the Lord? You know, God says, if you're not ashamed of me down here, I won't be ashamed of you when it's time for you to stand before me in the heavenly kingdom. So I don't, I know I'm gonna want God to say, hey, that's my girl when I get up to heaven. So I talk about him. I um I don't mind the whole world scene. I'm gonna put my very strong uh brother Noah on the spot. Could you please go upstairs and get that yellow swim bag? Um, you'll see why I asked in a few moments as as quick as you can. Praise the Lord. So when you are happy and at peace, what what precedes that is that we have our mind on God. Can you do a mental check right now? Really think about, oh, how am how much do I think about God? How much do I talk about Him? How much do I read His Word? How much am I trying to figure out, Lord God, how do I, you know, just get to that happy place in you? The easiest way, the easiest way to get closer to God is to um start playing gospel music and read his word and to pray and to praise, okay? So if you're praying, you're talking to him. If you're praising, thank you. If you're praising God, you're um you're if you're praising God, his his praises, his word is coming out your mouth. And as you hear yourself talk about God and God, you're wonderful, and thank you for this day, your ears hear it. And so it's uh multiple fold ministry to yourself and to the Lord, to the Lord first, and then to yourself. It's really important that we do a loud vocal affirmation of the Lord. Does that make sense? Okay. If you're having gospel on all the time, and you all, we have unlimited gospel, unlimited gospel. You have the worship songs of the day, the you know, there's a praise team um movement where where you're worshiping God, then you've got you got 80s, the the 90s and the 2000s, you got more of like the Kirk Franklin vibe and um uh Fred Hammond, you know, in the in the 90s and the 2000s. You've got the older gospel, um, when I rose this morning. I didn't have no doubt. Now, listen, those words, as you sing those songs, when you sing them aloud and when they come into your head, that's the word of God speaking to you. So many songs are straight out of the um word of God, like Psalms 34. I sought the Lord, you know, like um blessed is the name of the Lord. I'm trying to give you all the keys that will sustain you for the rest of your life. For your young, for the young folk, you all have a long time left to live. And you want the word of God as a default in your head. That, oh, it's just I can hear the songs, I sing the songs. I had the um Alexa playing some music the other day, and uh we're all looking to see if she came on, okay, the other day, and it was tons of songs that I hadn't heard in ages, but I was singing every word, and as I was singing every word, I was like, these are scriptures. I I had a new revelation of how much those songs have preached the word of God in my life, and the word of God sustains and happy and peace, and that peace are we when we hide the word in our heart. I said, I'm not ashamed to fly my Jesus colors when I go to the pool. You see, I have the brightest bag in the whole white world. This big bag always is at the end of the pool. Now, I don't do it to show off, or oh, I don't do it for um look, you know, everybody look at the Jesus at me, but what I do it for is I love Jesus and it motivates me. But then what I notice over time is that it's a witness. You may see some black girl power on there with the black hair in there and some hearts and some some light-hearted dolphins or mermaids. But what you also see is I love Jesus. Some of them read, um, Jesus save me. Uh it says, but pray first. It says, God is not dead and believe and God bless, and um, don't be afraid. And Jesus loves you and be kind and child of God. The other side, this side here, it reads like this. Some of those highlights are Jesus loves me, walk by faith, pray, pray, pray. God is good, love, God is my strength. When I was younger, I was afraid. Not not, well, a lot of time I wasn't afraid, but there was sometimes a little tiny bit of times. I said, let's keep it real. Everybody was like, oh, that's a Jesus girl. And I'm proud of it. Hallelujah. But but when I did get um, let's say older, maybe like 28, 35, um, there was a cultural sentiment of, oh, you Christians are are um shoving stuff down people's throat or they're so biased or they're mean, they don't like these people. And so then I got, oh, is that will it offend them? Will they feel this way? But you know what I found, you all? When people look at this bag in the pool, they get so happy. Even the people that are, some of the um, I don't want to talk about any particular group, some of the uh people that you may think is not as friendly or have a scowl on their face, or they've lived a long time and it seems like they have the bitter Walter mouth all lines all deep. Um, I can't make my face that way, but picture deep, deep frowns that their face would light up, or they'd be like, Well, good morning. You know, they talk to you even if they wouldn't normally, because the world is thirsty for God, you all. Do not be afraid to shine your Jesus colors bright. It makes us happy, it makes us blessed. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_04

Everybody say hallelujah. So we want to be happy, we want to be at peace, we want to run to Jesus. One of the biggest ways to change your heart into a heart of contentment is by memorizing his word. Last week, God gave us some memorization scriptures. Okay, you can hear the sermon from last week. It looks like this. Hopefully, if you're on YouTube, it's in the comments, and if you're on Facebook, it's in the comments. Um, I'm I should have said that I'm make we'll make a post of a picture post and then connect it. And so um, oh, Mr. Dan's gonna put the words in and then take some um give me a moment and let me see what I can do. Hallelujah, because I want you all to be able to look and see. We thank God that um his will is always right, and we definitely don't um rush through what God has for us, amen. I feel Jesus. I feel Jesus. I feel Jesus is gonna be in the post above it in this place. Yes, my soul does, yes, my soul does burn within me, burn within me. I feel Jesus in this place, amen. So that link to the picture is there, and if you could please copy it from Facebook and put it onto the YouTube. Amen. So this scriptures that we're gonna go through today. Um, everybody here has a paper printout, and you can print that out. And if you want me to send you like a word or a PowerPoint or something like that, please put it in the comments, that'll be easy to do. Um, but last week we were going over one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight passages. And so what I want us to do, we're going to memorize the verse, um, each verse one at a time. So normally, if you're memorizing verses, say if I was gonna memorize this, it may take like, I don't know, eight hours or something to get it really deep inside. But we're going to do each one, you know, piece by piece, just so we can start to have it in our in our mind, in our heart. And we don't ever want someone to come through this ministry week after week after week and not have the tools they need. Like, oh, well, they say memorized, but I don't know what they're talking about. Well, you're gonna see today. And so the first one we went over goes right into the main theme of contentment, which you got to come to the Lord. So Matthew 11, 28 through 30 says this, and I hope that you're technically savvy enough to have me on one screen talking and open up the picture in another where you can flip back and forth. Um, and so Matthew 11, 28 through 30 says this Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest into your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. One, when you memorize, you want to use all your senses, okay? So that's why you print it out, you post it, you have it wherever you need to. When I was memorizing one section, one verse in the pool, um, I had this in a uh gallon-sized poster bag so that as I went, I could rehearse it. Okay, come unto me, all you that labored. I was swimming back and forth. Do whatever's necessary to get it in your heart. Because as you memorize the word, the word is not like the word of God, the Holy Bible, the scriptures are is not like any other book. It is living. This is God's message to us. Yes, we mentally analyze it and uh can understand what it's saying, but it also pierces the heart. It's active. So even if you are not um fully knowing what's happening with you as you repeat it, it helps you be anchored in what God is commanding you to do, which in this case is contentment and peaceful happiness. Yes? Okay, so everybody say, Come unto me. Come unto me, all ye that labor.

SPEAKER_02

All ye that labor.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so the first part of memorization is just get a chunk that I can keep in my head. So oh, I read it, I see it with my eyes, I want to hear it, I want to see it. Come unto me, all ye that labor. Then I turn over the paper and I repeat it. Come unto me, all ye that labor. Okay, oftentimes it's good also to start with the reference, even before that. So we would say Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Let's say it. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. And then we group them together. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor. When you're memorizing, you want to make sure you understand what. You're talking about. Oh, I'm coming to Jesus and all of us that are working hard. Okay, come unto me, all ye that labor. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all you that labor. Let's say it. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor. Then you would add the next phrase, and are heavy laden. So not only that you're working, but you got tons of burdens. You beat down, okay? We talked about the stress of life. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. And are heavy laden. You keep repeating that to yourself, and are heavy laden. Everybody say about three times, and are heavy laden and are heavy laden and are heavy laden. Okay? And then we'll group it all together. I'll say it first. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. Let's say it together. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. Now raise your hand if you think you could explain, you understand what you just repeated well enough to explain it to someone else. Okay? Because I'm gonna keep on checking. You all are gonna be litmus tests for people online that if you don't understand something, say, oh wait, I don't understand this part, so we can break it down. Amen. Let's say it again. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. And then once Jesus says, Come to him, what's he gonna do about it? He says, And I will give you rest. Let's say it. And I will give you rest again. And I will give you rest again, and I will give you rest. Don't we want rest and peace when we're all heavy laden and stressed out? So Jesus says, Come unto me. Let's say it again. Matthew 11, 28 through 30, all together. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come to me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Again, Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Okay. So if you uh didn't catch it when one of those times I said, come to instead of come unto, when you make a mistake, is that's actually the one of the best things because you're like, oh, I made a mistake. It's not to, it's unto, and you kick that in your head. Come unto, come unto, come unto it. Okay, amen. Now let's keep reading. The next sentence says, Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. You all, that's one of the powerful things that Jesus is saying that a yoke we explained last week is the oxen would have a yoke, a wooden, a wooden um harness that keeps them working as they go around, keeps them in place. Well, the yoke of the world is heavy, but God's yoke is light. He's like, take contentment, take joy. Get rid of that other stuff, take my yoke, take my yoke, the call to be saved and faithful in God in this Christian walk and being part of the kingdom of God. Take that yoke, that call to work instead. He says, Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. That we should study the scriptures, study the word, have gospel. Lord, try him, try God. He loves to say, Please, would you give me this? And yay, you got it, and now you learned I'm faithful. Ask me for something else. Oh God, can you help me here and I help you? Ah, you learned I was your helper. Does that make sense? Okay, so say, take my yoke upon you and learn of me.

SPEAKER_02

And learn of me.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, we'll say it again.

SPEAKER_02

Take my yoke upon you, take my yoke upon you, and learn of me. And learn of me.

SPEAKER_04

And turn over our paper, say, take my yoke upon you, take my yoke upon me, and learn of me.

unknown

And learn of me.

SPEAKER_04

Again, take my yoke upon you and learn of me. And what are why would we learn about Jesus? He tells us in the next one. It says, For I am meek and lowly in heart. Say it. For I am meek and lowly in heart. In heart. For I am meek and lowly in heart. Jesus is meek. He's powerful, strong, but he doesn't force his way on others. He's not full of pride. He's lowly in heart. Like Brother Noah talked about humility earlier. When we learn about Jesus and really see who he is, and he's our perfect example, then we too will be meek and lowly in heart. That as we come to Jesus and learn in Him, contentment comes from being peaceful, happy, at ease in your state. Not give me more, give me more, I should be better. So this wrong. No, you're peaceful, you're meek and lowly in heart. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Everybody say, take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart. For I am meek and lowly in heart.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. Try to say it without your papers. Go ahead. Take my yoke my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. Amen. Amen. Let's start from the beginning. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. Bless you. Look, I'm looking at all these people in the room with their eyes closed or their paper over or looking up and they're saying the words. I'm so pleased. Okay, glad this too. Okay. Now, this this last one, we have a um leg up because we've heard it so many times. And so uh the last sentence of that says, For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. So train all that best of heaviness of the world.

unknown

And you shall find rest unto your soul.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, praise Jesus. I almost forgot. And you shall find rest unto your souls. Okay, so if you know anything about the Bible once you read a lot, it's so poetic. I used to write more poetry, and so um the themes will be repeated. So in the beginning says, Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. And then the second says, Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I'm meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest for your souls. Okay, so it helps our mind um reiterate God's saying, I don't want you to miss it. I'm trying to give you rest. Say, and you shall find rest and ye shall find rest unto your souls, and you shall find rest and you shall find rest unto your souls, unto your souls, and you shall find rest unto your souls. Now, if you was doing the whole eight-hour long one at this point, you'd be writing it out by hand. So not only do you read it, repeat it, uh put the phrases together, but you write it by hand. So you have you print it out, you post it, make index cards, but you also write it many times, and then it really gets in there. And you make sure you you can visualize, you can add motions like come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. You do all the things necessary so that word is in your heart. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Say, take my yoke upon you, take my yoke upon me and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest and ye shall find rest unto your souls, unto your souls, and ye shall find rest unto your souls, and you shall find rest unto your unto your souls.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, let's go from the beginning. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Go ahead, say that part.

SPEAKER_02

Matthew 11, 28 through 30.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, I'll say it first. I'll try. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. And you shall find rest, is that right? And you shall find rest unto your souls. Hallelujah. Okay, let's do it all together. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Amen. And then the final line says, For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

SPEAKER_02

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

SPEAKER_04

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

SPEAKER_02

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

SPEAKER_04

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

SPEAKER_02

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

SPEAKER_04

And then you will end with the reference again, Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Shall we try it? Let's go. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I shall give you rest. And I will. Let me do it again. So sorry, pastors. Okay. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11, 28 through 30. Oh, everybody say hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Now we're going to move to the second one. Amen. Everybody say 1 Thessalonians.

SPEAKER_02

1 Thessalonians 5.

SPEAKER_04

17 through 18.

SPEAKER_02

17 through 18.

SPEAKER_04

Say it again. 1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18.

SPEAKER_02

1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, it says pray without ceasing. Go ahead, say that.

SPEAKER_02

Pray without ceasing.

SPEAKER_04

Pray without ceasing. That means never stop praying. Always talk to God. I often always talk to God. Oh, God, what do you want me to do today? Oh Lord, help me be a blessing. Oh, look, this guy is pretty. Oh, thank you for giving me this. Oh, thank you, Lord God, for blessing me here. Oh, God, please take care of the children. God, you're so wonderful. So it has all the X, you know, adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication, asking for things. Okay, so pray without ceasing. Everybody say, Pray without ceasing.

SPEAKER_02

Pray without ceasing.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, and this is also a verse that most of us know. Say, and everything give thanks.

SPEAKER_02

And everything give thanks.

SPEAKER_04

For this is the will of God.

SPEAKER_02

This is the will of God.

SPEAKER_04

In Christ Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

In Christ Jesus. Concerning you. Concerning you.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Say, and everything give thanks.

SPEAKER_02

And everything give thanks.

SPEAKER_04

For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. Concerning you. Concerning you.

SPEAKER_04

And let me say the whole thing. Just that phrase. And everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Okay, you say it. Try to say it with no papers. And everything.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

And everything give thanks. This is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so I'm using my family as a litmus test of how fast we can go. And so they seem to have it. So here we go. 1 Thessalonians 5. Oh, let me say it first. So sorry. 1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18. And this is also what you should do when I'm saying it first by myself. You should read it, see it on the paper because our brain also remembers what we see as we say it. So sometimes you visualize the words. So make sure that while you're memorizing, that you're constantly, oh, I'm memorizing and looking. I'm memorizing, I'm looking. Okay. First Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18. Pray without ceasing. In everything, give thanks. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18. Okay, let's go. Okay. 1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18. Pray without ceasing. In everything, give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18. How did you do? Did you do good? Let's do it one more time before moving on to the next one. 1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18. Pray without ceasing, and everything give thanks. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5, 17 through 18. Amen. Hallelujah. This one, this is, I say is probably one of the theme scriptures of contentment. And so it says 1 Timothy 6, 6. Go say that.

SPEAKER_02

1 Timothy 6, 6.

SPEAKER_04

But godliness with contentment is great gain. So we talked about, oh, don't just be godly and miserable, don't be evil and happy, but godliness with contentment is great gain. Godliness with peaceful happiness is great gain. Everybody say, but godliness with contentment is great gain.

SPEAKER_02

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so let's try it with the reference before and after. Let's go. 1 Timothy 6, 6. But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6, verse 6. Amen. Let's do it again. 1 Timothy 6, 6. But godliness with contentment is great gain. Amen. Everybody give oh yes, 1 Timothy 6, verse 6. I love my husband, he keeps me in order. Amen. Let's give God praise. Now this one, this was the one I was working on. This next one working in with the on the pull. Every lap I was doing, I was like, okay, let your conversation be without covetedness. I had to add the pieces. And so you may not get this one down today, but in Jesus' name, we will get some of it. Um, but we're gonna see what we can tackle, amen. Okay, so say Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_02

Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_04

Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_02

Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, first I'm gonna read it and describe it, then we'll start memorizing. Let your conversation be without covetedness. Don't be all jealous, or I wish I had this, I wish I was more, I wish I could be this, I wish, you know, in your conversation. I wish that I had what she had. Why don't I have this? Don't okay. So let your conversation be without coveted, covetedness, and be content with such things as ye have. Okay, so going back to the definition that we had of contentment, it says it involves appreciating the present rather than longing for more, represent a sweet spot of emotional fulfillment. It says contentment is a state of peaceful happiness, satisfaction, and ease of mind with one's current possessions, status, or situation. So your conversation should not be, I should be different here and different there and have this and have. No, I'm happy with what I have, okay? I'm content with such things as ye have. Let your conversation be without covetedness and be content with such things as ye have. For he has said, God has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Notice he didn't say God says, I'll give you everything you want. He says, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. If happiness, peacefulness comes from being in the presence of God, you don't have to be having a conversation full of, I want to be more, I should do more, I should have this, because Jesus God is always with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Oh, thank you, God. Please bless us with happiness and contentment. Where we're not afraid and we're not longing for more, because we have everything we have and we trust in the Lord. Amen. Okay, so again, I'm gonna read it, then we'll start memorizing. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness and be content with such things as ye have. For he have said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee, so that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Amen. Okay. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Say that part.

SPEAKER_02

Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_04

Let your conversation be without covetedness.

SPEAKER_02

Let your conversation be without covetousness.

SPEAKER_04

I'm really curious if I'm gonna stay away from being tongue-tied during that. Okay, Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness. Wait, Hebrews 13, Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness. Amen. Say covet, covet, tussness, covetedness, covetousness. Okay, there we go. Okay, Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_02

Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_04

Let your conversation be without covetedness, let your conversation be without covetedness, amen. And be content with such things as ye have. Say it, and be content with such things as ye have. We're gonna say it five times, and be content with such things as ye have, and be content with such things as ye have, and be content with such things as ye have, and be content with such things as ye have, and be content with such things as ye have. Let's start from the beginning. I'll say it, and then we'll all say it together. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness, and be content with such things as ye have. And if you're doing it in a group, as the people are saying it, you check to see if they're making a mistake. Because usually, if you catch someone else's mistake, then that's also gonna make sure you say that word right. Like, ooh, they said it wrong. I'm gonna say it right. Amen. Okay, let's do it together. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness and be content with such things as ye have. Amen. Amen. For he has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Let's say it. For he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. And if you can do the upward motion on he pointing to God, it reminds us it's not just general here, who we're talking about, but God Almighty is speaking to us. Let's say it again. For he has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. And now when it comes to the ands and the he's, and what words is that? Sometimes if it's for, even though it has nothing to do with the letter, the number four. I use the number four just to help me tell. Oh go, for he has said, okay, for he have said, for let me say the whole phrase. For he have said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Everybody, for he have said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Let's combine it, okay. Hebrews 13, everybody, Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness, and be content with such things as ye have. For he has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Amen. Let's do that one more time before getting the last of it. Okay, Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness, and be content with such things as ye have. For he have said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Amen. Let's read it. Look at your paper so it's burning in your eyes, okay? It says, Um, the last phrase says, so that we may boldly say so. But every time I'm saying boldly, and I extend my voice and I raise it and I exaggerate it, that also acts as an anchor point for memorization. So we're memorizing today, but we're also learning how to memorize. Amen. Okay, so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper. Please look at the words that I'm reading. Okay, so that we may boldly say. The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. So we're going to get that in two parts. So first part is so that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper. Let us all together. So that we may boldly say the Lord is my helper. Again, so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper. And again, so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper. One more again, yes, know that. So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper. And because he is our helper, because he's always there for me, because he's never leaving me forsaken me. Guess what? I'm not gonna be afraid. Say, and I will not fear, say it. And I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_02

What man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_04

And I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_02

And I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_04

And I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_02

And I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_04

No, what man shall do. Oh, is that what you said?

SPEAKER_02

I'm so sorry.

SPEAKER_04

Please forgive me. Okay, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_02

And I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, let's put those two parts together so that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Let's say it all together. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Say Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_02

Hebrews 13, 5 through 6.

SPEAKER_04

Let's go from so that we may boldly, so that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. All right, so I'm gonna try to put it together. I'll go first and then we'll go together. Okay, Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. And correct me if I get wrong. Okay, let your conversation be without covetedness and be content with such things as ye have. So oh, for he has said, see, that's why I do a little forward, because for he and it makes my brain memorize. If you can't memorize the words, your body memorizes motion sometimes a little bit more, and then the words connect. For he has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Yay! Okay, are we ready? Okay, Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness, and be content with such things as ye have. For he has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee, so that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Oh, they did great. I hope you all are doing great too. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Obedience is better than sacrifice. I say that because the spirit of discernment always has um, you know, the old church records playing, oh, this is a long time. Oh, does it take all this, that? Guess what? We don't listen to those things. We listen to God and go in his way. Everybody say hallelujah!

SPEAKER_02

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_04

Let's do it one more time before going to the next one. So here we go. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Let your conversation be without covetedness and be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13, 5 through 6. Give yourself a hand, cup of praise. Thank you, God, for helping us. That was really long. I'm really proud of y'all. Okay, next one. Praise the Lord. It's shorter, but it's just as powerful. It says, Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you. That when we're going to be content, we have to know that guess what? God cares for me. So I don't have to worry about it. I don't have to stress at night. I don't have to be all in a tizzy, because my God's got it, and I'm gonna roll it off on him. I'm gonna cast it away. When you cast the line, you throw it as far as it can go. You know what? If if if the news, the the name, you know, say we think of these people that oh, they're so evil. I just I can't stand them. How often are you thinking about them? Have you gone a week without talking about them? We worship God and not our problems. Cast it far away. Amen. Far away. Okay. Casting all your care. Oh, say 1 Peter 5, 7.

SPEAKER_02

1 Peter 5, 7.

SPEAKER_04

Casting all your care upon him.

SPEAKER_02

Casting all your care upon him.

SPEAKER_04

For he careth for you.

SPEAKER_02

For he careth for you.

SPEAKER_04

1 Peter 5, verse 7.

SPEAKER_02

1 Peter 5, verse 7.

SPEAKER_04

Do you believe God cares for you? If so, raise your hand up high. Say thank you, God, for caring for me.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, God for caring for me.

SPEAKER_04

Are you willing to take all that care? Cast it up on him. Upon him. Are you willing? Raise your hand. Okay. Say, casting all your care upon him.

SPEAKER_02

Casting all your care upon him. For he careth for you. For he careth for you.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, this one's short, so we're gonna go around the circle, put people on the spot. I will start. 1 Peter 5, verse 7. Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you. Brother Noah, I'm gonna make you brave first. Oh, 1 Peter 5, 7. Can you try that from memory? Casting all your care upon him for he cared for you. 1 Peter 5, verse 7.

SPEAKER_01

1 Peter 5, 7. Casting all your care upon him before he cared for you. 1 Peter 5 7.

SPEAKER_04

Wonderful. Sister Elizabeth, you brave?

SPEAKER_00

1 Peter 5 7. Casting all your care upon you before he cared for you.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen. You see, I get so excited, I keep letting people off, Lord. Forgive me. Very good. Mr. Daniel.

SPEAKER_02

1 Peter 5, 7. Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

1 Peter 5, 7.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Pray for your pastor. Hallelujah. Let's do it one more time together, and I will say the reference at the end in Jesus' name. Okay. 1 Peter 5, verse 7. Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5, verse 7. Amen. And then Joshua 1 9. And we've also heard this one a lot, but have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1 9. Have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. What I want to highlight in this is the be. Okay? Be strong and of a good courage. Okay, so strong, courageous. Be not afraid. And neither be thou dismayed. It's a state of being you all. So many times it's like, why am I afraid of this? Why am I stressed over this? Because the enemy has uh shifted us to a state of worry as a default or a state of fear as a default. And God says, don't have yourself in a default state of fear or dismay. That's dismay is like I'm all upset about it. Don't have that be your, oh, that's my unless you prove otherwise, that's what I'm gonna be. I hear something, oh, I'm worried. I'm here something, oh, I'm fretful. No, I want you to be the opposite, to be strong and courageous, that you have courage for this life, that you're not shaking, oh I don't want to go out the door. Oh, what if a car gets me? What if this happened? No, I'm going to be strong and courageous. Amen.

SPEAKER_05

Amen.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, and who, and it's not just the option, God told us to do it. That's why it begins with have not I commanded thee. So let's start. Say Joshua 1.9.

SPEAKER_02

Joshua 1 9.

SPEAKER_04

Have not I commanded thee.

SPEAKER_02

Have not I commanded thee.

SPEAKER_04

Again, Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee. And I'm gonna stand up a little bit for this one so that we can picture that the God's commanding the people. Okay, Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee. Go ahead, see it.

SPEAKER_02

Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee.

SPEAKER_04

Again, Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee.

SPEAKER_02

Joshua 1 9 have not I commanded thee.

SPEAKER_04

All together. Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee again. Joshua 1 9 have not I commanded thee again. Joshua 1 9 have not I commanded thee. And so let's get into those commands. Say, be strong and of a good courage. Let's say it three times. Be strong and of a good courage. Be strong and of a good courage. Be strong and of a good courage. A get man, be strong and of a good courage. I put that a little bit down. Okay. Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage, everybody. Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage. Once more, Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage. Amen, amen. Praise the Lord. I'm in love with my husband, just in case some of y'all caught that look. I was like, wait, this is so we gotta stay on the same cadence. But you're doing great, amen. Um, Joshua 1.9, be strong and of a good of a good courage. And then the next one, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Okay, so shaking my boots, be not afraid and be not dismayed. Don't be off frazzled, okay? So say, be not afraid, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Neither be thou dismayed, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Say it again. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Again, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Okay, I'll I'll go and then we'll all go. Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Everybody, Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Again, Joshua 1 9, have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. Okay, and the last says, For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Now, if you really have that in your heart, that God is with me. I mean, if you have all of them, I'm running to him, my the yoke is easy, his burden is light, and I can pray without ceasing. I'm in his perfect will, I give thanks for it because it's his will concerning me. And um, that godliness content with great gain. I'm casting out a care upon him. Do you know how much lighter our light would be? He's saying, I'm commanding you to be strong and of good courage, not to be fearful and dismayed. For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. God really wants us to equate, just like two plus two is four. Oh, peace and contentment and happiness means I'm with God. Oh, happiness, I'm all about God. Happiness, He's always with me. Happiness, I'm all learning all about Him. Does that make sense? Yeah, that is not in pursuing what we think we want, it's in pursuing Jesus, and He gives us everything we want. Amen. Okay, say, For the Lord thy God is with thee.

SPEAKER_02

For the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest. Whithersoever thou goest.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, brother Noah, you say that part. For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

SPEAKER_01

For the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest.

SPEAKER_04

Sister Elizabeth, for the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest.

SPEAKER_00

For the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest.

SPEAKER_02

For the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest.

SPEAKER_04

All the lovely people out there, hallelujah. For the Lord thy God is with thee, whithersoever thou goest. Amen. I hear you all in the spirit, even on the line, okay? Let's say it again. For the Lord a God. For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1 9. Say that.

SPEAKER_02

Joshua 1 9.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, I'll go first. Joshua 1 9. Have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage. Be not afraid. Yes, three words. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1 9. So we're gonna do that. First, we're gonna read it and stare at the paper, and then we're gonna say it from our heart. So first let's read it all together slowly enough. So we're on the same cadence. Okay. Joshua 1 9. Have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1 9. Okay, here we go all together. Prayerfully from the heart. But if we get sidetracked, you could take a little peek. Okay. Joshua 1 9. Have not I commanded thee, be strong and of a good courage. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed. For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1 9. Sorry, Joshua 9. I thought I messed, I thought I put too many words with the neither be thou dismayed. But that was correct. Amen. Amen. Great job. Give God praise. Okay. Micah 7.7. Remember, say Micah 7.7.

SPEAKER_01

Micah 7.7.

SPEAKER_04

Say, therefore, therefore, I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Now, there was some chunk that always precedes, therefore, because therefore is the conclusion. But when you think of all these memorization scriptures, it also follows, therefore, because God is with me all the time. He never leaves me. I'm learning about him. There's peace. I come to him. Hallelujah. This is the will of God in my life. I'm giving thanks to God and everything because of all of this. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. Everybody say, therefore, I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Micah 7.7. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

Micah 7.7.

SPEAKER_04

Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. Okay, I know I'm getting ready. Swing it to you. You got the bat to throw it back. Okay, here we go. Micah 7-7. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Micah 7.7, therefore I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

I'm laughing because I got so excited. I I uh knocked the microphone uh handle off the microphone. I apologize. So, okay, Micah 7, 7, therefore I will look unto the Lord. Noah again, Micah.

SPEAKER_01

Micah 7-7, therefore I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, Sister Elizabeth, I'm gonna gently pass it to you. Micah 7-7, therefore I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

Micah 7-7, therefore I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Amen, Mr. Daniel.

SPEAKER_02

Micah 7-7, therefore I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

And I pass it to you, beautiful people, very gently, not knocking over any microphones or anything else. Micah 7-7, therefore I will look unto the Lord. Let me hear it. Very good. Okay, Micah 7-7. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. Say I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Let's say it together and say it as you're praying to him, and that you know you have faith and confidence in him. That it's both a praise report for every time he has heard you in a prayer request. God, please save me and hear me. At the same time, it says continually past, present, and future, that I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Let's say it about three, four times. Let's see. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Micah 7.7. Everybody say, hallelujah.

SPEAKER_05

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, we're gonna go around the circle and then we're gonna pass it back to you. I'll go first. Micah 7.7. Therefore, I will wait unto the Lord. No, sorry, I will look unto the Lord. Look with my eyes. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. Sorry. Micah 7.7. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Amen. So this is the longest one we've done passing, so we'll help you out if you need it. Micah 7-7. Okay, brother Noah, you're up. Micah 7-7.

SPEAKER_01

Micah 7-7. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

I will wait.

SPEAKER_01

I will wait. I will wait.

SPEAKER_04

For the God of my salvation.

SPEAKER_01

For the God of my salvation.

SPEAKER_04

What will we do for you? Say, My God will hear me.

SPEAKER_01

My God will hear me.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen. Do it one more time. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Micah seven seconds.

SPEAKER_01

Micah seven seconds. Therefore. Unto the Lord, yes. The God of my salvation.

SPEAKER_04

I will wait.

SPEAKER_01

I will wait. I will wait for the God of my salvation.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. Okay, Sister Elizabeth, Michael Seven Seven. Yes. Yay! That's wonderful. I'm so impressed. Praise Jesus. Okay, Mr. Daniel, and I can help. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. So you see, I have my little motions and cues. Micah 7-7. You can do it. Everybody say you can do it. Okay. I'll help them.

SPEAKER_02

Micah 7-7. Therefore, I will wait. I will look unto the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

I will wait.

SPEAKER_02

I will wait.

SPEAKER_04

For the God.

SPEAKER_02

For the God of my salvation. I will hear.

SPEAKER_04

My God.

SPEAKER_02

My God will hear me.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, he will. Where's it from?

unknown

Micah 7.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. Okay, let us do it together. Micah 7 7. Therefore, I will look unto the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will Both hear me, Micah 7 7. So you see, this time we're so much more confident because when you hear someone else do it, it's like, oh no, it's this word, no, it's that word. And so memorize and get your memorization buddy. Call me, call someone else. We all can do it. We can hide the word of God in our heart. So are we ready for the last one? Amen. Say last but not least.

SPEAKER_02

Last but not least.

SPEAKER_04

Say 2 Timothy 1 7. 2 Timothy 1 7.

SPEAKER_02

2 Timothy 1 7.

SPEAKER_04

2 Timothy 1 7.

SPEAKER_02

2 Timothy 1 7.

SPEAKER_04

Say, for God hath not given us the spirit of fear.

SPEAKER_02

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so we don't. There's not a spirit of fear. But what we have is the spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind. It's one spirit, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind. It's not all these different spirits, it's one spirit. I'm gonna read the whole thing. 2 Timothy 1:7. For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. You see how much that goes with be thou not afraid? Don't be dismayed. Everyone's gonna have courage in her heart. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1-7. Let's say the first phrase again. Say 2 Timothy 1-7.

SPEAKER_02

2 Timothy 1-7.

SPEAKER_04

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear.

SPEAKER_02

For God has not given us the spirit of fear.

SPEAKER_04

We're gonna do four and four. Four repeat the first one, the four repeat the second, and then we're gonna put it together. Say, for God has not given us the spirit of fear.

SPEAKER_02

For God has not given us the spirit of fear.

SPEAKER_04

Again, for God has not given us the spirit of fear.

But of power and of love and of a sound mind. Everybody together, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Again, do the motion. This is the little muscles will be power. But of power and of love and of a sound mind. Again, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. And so the thing there is each one of them has and of. Okay, so we don't usually talk like that, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. So the first one is but of and then two and of and of, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Let's do it together. But of power and of love and of a sound mind. Let's put it together. For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Again, for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Amen. So I'll go first and we'll go around the circle and then we'll conclude this thing with all of us. Amen. Okay, 2 Timothy 1, 7. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1 7. Brother Noah.

SPEAKER_01

Second Timothy 1 7.

SPEAKER_04

Yay! Okay, my mom, uh wonderful, beautiful pastor Cynthia Hills. She used to preach a sermon about not saying bad stuff. She's like, even if you had to uh stuck, uh stick a sock in your mouth. So that's my version. To pause the cheers. Okay, Minister Jay, you're up. Um 2 Timothy 1 7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.

SPEAKER_02

2 Timothy 1 7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1 7.

SPEAKER_04

Yay, everybody say hallelujah. Okay, you're up, lovely people out there. Okay, here we go. 2 Timothy 1, 7. Great job, everybody. Let's say it all together. 2 Timothy 1-7. For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1-7. Everybody stand up and give God praise. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, God. We bring the blood of Jesus over your word. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Let's give it for the praise on it. So, what did we learn? What did God show us today? That we're always like, oh, it takes too long and my mind doesn't work that way and I can't do it. Those are all false. Truth is that when we take time and we spend time with God, we can memorize God's word. Even if we don't get it all perfect, when we hide the word in there, next time you hear any of these verses, you're gonna be like, oh, my spirit knows that. Every day. And like, please put out these verses if you can. And we're gonna try to get a link, or if you send us your email, whatever you want to do, if you want to have like a word copy or whatever, communicate with me, especially in the comments and the message so that Facebook doesn't put it with the spam people. Um, we want to get it to you because it's or you can just type it out yourself. I'm so I'm used to coddling, I usually over-coddle, but it should be you all go print out them scriptures, put it on your wall. I'm like, how can I feed it to them? And so, but um, I love you all, and God loves you, and I thank God for his word and his spirit of contentment. Now, all of this is centered on coming to Jesus. If you've never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, but you want a part of this good life in Christ and this Holy Ghost um joy, no matter what the world throws at you, and that um that that God is your best friend, he'll laugh with you and cry with you and give you strength. Um, if you want all that, Jesus is the way, the key, the light to that. And now is the time you can ask him to come into your heart. He will save you, and you'll never be the same. He'll hold your hand. You don't have to get all right at the same time. But what you do have to do is have that one moment of clarity. Yes, God, I give my whole life to you, and I want to live for you the rest of my life, and he'll do the work. He's already paid the price. If you're ready to give your life to Christ, please pray with me. Repeat after me, let us bow ahead.

SPEAKER_02

Dear Lord God, dear Lord God, I know that I'm a sinner, I know that I am a sinner.

SPEAKER_04

Please save me by your grace, by the blood of Jesus. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I repent for my sins, and I ask you, God, to save me, I ask you in my heart, and I receive you as Lord and Savior this day. This day I am born again, I am saved. Hallelujah, hallelujah. If you pray that prayer, we want to know about it, we want to get you scriptures, material, this, that, the other. This, um, believe it or not, it wasn't too much longer than some of our longest sermons. And so I give uh praise God for doing what he does best.
