This week our hosts sit down with Officer Carlos. He has been with GPPD for 14 years now. As he will tell you, he is always here at work!
Since being with GPPD, he has been a Field Training Officer (FTO), a lead negotiator in the Crisis Negotiator Unit (CNU), a field tech Crime Scene Investigator (CSI), and one of our go-to Spanish Translators. Yes, he has and wears many hats around here!
Carlos was born and raised in Ecuador. He played tennis and even got a scholarship for it in school!
He is famous here in GP and even has an entree named after himself at a local Mexican Food restaurant...the "Carlos Special!"
He is a cigar aficionado and has been collecting them since 1999! Let's dig into it!
