Long-time friend and musician Rachel Rosen of the bands Indecision, Most Precious Blood, and Caninus, discusses early Metalcore and her retail company Caninus which sells licensed band logo dog collars. https://www.caninuscollars.com
I met her and the crew of Indecision at a diner down in Brooklyn and they emphasized that they wanted me to be the Raymond Pettibon for their band. Raymond was the brother of Greg Ginn and became famous for a string of Black Flagg album covers and flyers. We stayed friends, and when I started tattooing, she was one of my early clients.
