“Hope” by Steve Adams

I've been talking to a young man whose challenging search for gainful employment is compounded by a deep loss of hope.

Admittedly, hope is a difficult concept to find these days, but that is precisely what really drives us as humans.  Be that in striving for a career, an education, family, partner, the dream of success and achievement, or an easy rewarding retirement.  It is hope that embodies the desire and the expectation we all have of the better tomorrow.  Hope also provides the drive and the motivation to get there.

I am sure each of us has our own hopes and dreams and that they all differ greatly.  I am equally sure each of us has experienced the loss of hope after repeated failures.  

Hope may be one of the most powerful words in our language. It is also one of the most noble concepts to strive for and to share with others.

Please do not lose hope because living life without it would be like navigating the world without light or sound.
