There’s a lot of talk about illegal immigrants being deported. So what’s Trump trying to do? He wants to get illegal immigrants out of the United States, especially those with any criminal history or gang ties. Even more urgently important is to stop them from entering here in the first place! That’s the mission, but Trump isn’t just trying to clean up after the last four years. He’s trying to reset the entire system, using a mix of executive authority, existing immigration laws, and smarter legal strategies. America is overwhelmed and loopholes are everywhere. Experienced lawyers waiting for their hearing. Trump’s layered strategy has better lawyers, and cases designed to reach the Supreme Court. The illegals waiting for their hearings are supposed to wait in Mexico. We can’t continue this catch and release that we’ve had for the last four years.
