Welcome to the Care Podcast with Brother Chindah Chindah, a podcast inspired by Mark 16, verses 15 through 16. And he said to them Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. Care Christ Ambassadors Reaching Everywhere aims to spread the gospel of Christ to all. So feel free to download each episode and share with as many people as possible. Time is short, so we must do our part for Jesus before time runs out.

Speaker 2: 0:40

Every second, two people die. Every second, two people die. That's over 165,000 people every day, entering eternity with the possibility of not spending eternity with their maker, their creator, our Heavenly Father. Many of them never heard the gospel, and many of them passed by so many Christians who stayed silent. Many of them could have been reached if one true disciple said yes, Jesus didn't save us to be silent spectators.

Speaker 2: 1:21

He saved us to be messengers of the gospel, firebearers of his presence and soul winners by his spirit, and this is why I will be sharing with you today. Jesus said go, why are we still sitting? Let's just pray, lord, I'm just grateful because of how gracious, how faithful you have been to us. Thank you for reminding us that you said go, and whatever has made us keep sitting in our various churches, sitting at home, and not prioritizing the action. Word go, pray. You will forgive us and just use this to stir us up again and help us to know that this is the Great Commission and you want us to act with utmost urgency. Holy Spirit, I pray for all my listeners and myself that you are going to open our hearts and stir us up and shake us and do something that is going to help us, that shake us, and do something that is going to help us not just to keep sitting but to wake up, stand up and go and tell others about Jesus and bring them to our Heavenly Father. I ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.

Speaker 2: 3:05

I would like to read this text so that we can focus on what Christ said before he left the earth, in Mark 16, from verse 14 to 20,. Afterward, he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and rebuked them with their unbelief and hardness of heart because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them. Those who believe in my name shall cast out devils and they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up sapiens, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God, and they went forth preaching everywhere the Lord walking with them and confirming the word with signs following, Amen, with signs following, Amen.

Speaker 2: 4:26

And that was just to highlight some key things that I would like to talk about in this discussion around Jesus saying we should go. And then why are we still sitting? So I want you to be willing to respond, I want you to allow your heart to be ignited, as God helped us to wake up from our slumber, wake up from our comfort zone and get up and let others know that Jesus died, rose for them and Christ is waiting for them, and Christ is waiting for them. So, from where we read, you can see, from verse 15, he said go, ye, into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. You see, that word go is not passive, it's a command, it's an action word. As you are going, make this your mission, so you're not to stay, you're not to sit, you're to move. You should get up and move. And then there's another word preach. And this means to herald, to proclaim with authority, like a royal ambassador, and that is who we are after we've encountered Christ In 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, the Bible says we are Christ's ambassadors and this channel is Christ's ambassadors reaching everywhere.

Speaker 2: 6:03

So we are not just to be quiet whisperers, but we're to declare the gospel with bold declaration. Now, what is the gospel? It's the good news that Christ died, rose and can save. It's not just nice advice, it's not a suggestion. It is a rescue mission. So, with the mindset of somebody that understands what Jesus did, he died on the cross, he rose and he said it is finished, which means he's commissioned us into a rescue mission.

Speaker 2: 6:48

You know those that rescue people, maybe stranded in mountains or stranded in water, stranded in the sea or stranded in one form or the other. These guys are prepared. They do everything they can to save lives. It doesn't matter the challenges on their way, it doesn't matter the challenges on their way, it doesn't matter the obstacles, it doesn't matter the way. They will do everything to get the people to safety. We are God's ambassadors, god's messengers, god's representative on this earth. Jesus has commissioned us. We are in the rescue mission of bringing sons and daughters of God back to the kingdom of heaven.

Speaker 2: 7:32

And then we have this phrase every creature. It means everyone created. No one is off limits. Not the atheist, not the addict, not your boss, not your Baba, not your friends, not your neighbor. Everyone is included. So begin to think about how serious this is, because no one is exempted from every creation of God.

Speaker 2: 8:02

But if you look at that text again, in verse 14, I love what Jesus did. The Bible said he upbraided them with their unbelief. So Jesus did not commission perfect men. They had fear, they had doubts. He commissioned repentant ones. Before they could go, they had to stop doubting.

Speaker 2: 8:26

When it comes to evangelism, it's not about you, it's not about how you are feeling, it's not about what you know, it's not about how you can do it, because you're not the one that converts, you're not the one that changes lives, you're not the one that restores and brings the people back to God. So if you're doubting whether they're going to listen, are they going to follow? You are to prayerfully go out because Christ did not want them to have. Doubt why they are going out. If you have doubts before you go out, then there is no need to even go out in the first place. There's no need to pray, there's no need to share, there's no need to witness for Christ, because you're doubting. The people will not even listen, and God does not want us to be in that position. So doubt and unbelief should not be a part of us. We have to stop doubting if we want to really take this rescue mission of the dying souls outside Christ, for them to join the kingdom of God and all the citizens that Jesus has brought to himself.

Speaker 2: 9:30

Unbelief and fear have kept too many Christians quiet, and perhaps you listening to me right now on this discussion. It's possible that you no longer share the gospel, preach, or let people know that you are a disciple of Christ. You're hiding. You're serving Christ from afar off. You don't want people to even know that you are a disciple of Christ. You're hiding, you're serving Christ from afar off. You don't want to be visible. But you're visible in other areas of your life. You're visible in social media. You're visible with your friends. You're visible with all the activities that you do. It is all about you now and you are so ashamed, you're so scared, you're so terrified to make Christ known. I'm always wondering, can somebody actually know Jesus Christ and keep silent? God doesn't need your perfection in every aspect. He needs you to surrender the imperfection, surrender your fear and doubt.

Speaker 2: 10:19

The Great Commission wasn't about the title, it was about trust. Christ trusted these men who have gone before us, and he didn't want them to go out with doubt in their hearts. So he ensured that, before he gives them this rescue mission, they are free from doubt and unbelief, because, at the end of the day, you are not the one that saves. Christ saves you. Never died for them. You never rose from the grave, from the dead. It was Jesus that did that.

Speaker 2: 10:58

But it's sad, it's really sad today that A lot of churches, a lot of Christians, are so quiet and they are breaking the heart of Jesus. They are breaking the heart of God. Are you one of those breaking the heart of God? And there are reasons why this is happening. Number one comfort Christianity.

Speaker 2: 11:20

We have created a gospel that centers On us, not on Christ. We ask fought Christianity. We have created a gospel that centers on us, not on Christ. We ask what can I get from Jesus now? Not what can Jesus get from me. He's done so much, he's paid the price, but it's all about what we can get, it's all about us. Christ is no longer at the center. We are being entertained, unfortunately, in many circles. But we are not equipped, we're not empowered to go and declare the gospel of Christ. The church has become a cruise ship for comfort, not a battleship for mission. It's sad. We're not supposed to be a place where we're so comfortable in our blessings, comfortable in whatever we think we receive from God, and instead of being a battleship for mission, for rescue, mission for the dying souls, for the dying world, for those men and women all around you, your neighbors and the people you know in your life and many times God has spoken to you to preach to that person, talk to that person, to share.

Speaker 2: 12:27

You keep holding back, but yet you come to church, you say I love you, I bless you, and you do all those gimmicks and gestures, and yet you're always silent. You never make christ known. Jesus never said to take up your vacation. He said take up your cross. Yes, take up your cross, not to take up your vacation, not to take up this or take up that. Take up your cross not to take up your comfort, not to take up your ego. Take up your this, take up your that, take up your popularity, take up your influence, take up your this. He wants you to take up your cross. And taking up your cross is a symbol that there is some level of sacrifice, some level of dedication and focus, and sometimes suffering, because of Jesus Christ. So most of us are in our comfort.

Speaker 2: 13:17

Christianity. It's all about what you're going to get, not what you can give to. Number two the fear of rejection and persecution. We care more about people liking us than seeing people being saved. You know how many likes I have, how many shares I have, how many validations I have, how many cute words people have said to me. It's all about how do I look and how do I dress and all that. We're just in that place of just making ourselves to be the center of our lives. But boldness is the fruit of being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2: 13:56

The Bible said in Proverbs 29, verse 25, the fear of man bringeth a snare. Whosoever shall be ashamed of me, of him also shall the son of man be ashamed. Mark, chapter 8, verse 38. So many people are ashamed of speaking about Jesus. Many people are ashamed of talking about him. You're listening to me and you know exactly what I'm saying. There are circles that you can't even mention Christ. You can't even tell somebody that you are a Christian, you can't even tell somebody that Jesus Christ died for you.

Speaker 2: 14:25

But when we come on YouTube like this and you're so quick to put all the comments, you're so quick to post. You're so quick to share about your life, share about this and that, but when it comes to actually going and telling somebody about Jesus Christ, you don't do it. You're afraid of what your friends are going to say. You're afraid of what society will think of you. You're afraid about your reputation online. You're afraid of this, you're afraid of that. So you have all these reasons. You are afraid to be rejected, you are afraid to be persecuted, you are afraid to be at the reproach of Christ, you are afraid to be identified with Christ and because of your influence, your position or because of whatever you think you have in this life, which you're not going to take anyway in eternity, you don't want to fully expose yourself, for people to know your real identity in Christ, and that's why you don't preach and that's why you don't share.

Speaker 2: 15:12

Other people say that's not my calling. I hear this phrase all the time. So when it's not a spiritual gift, this is what most people do not understand. So winning is not a spiritual gift. It is a spiritual command. Hand. Soul winning is not a spiritual gift, it is a spiritual command. And if you think about the gift of the spirit, where did you see one of them is called the soul-winning gift.

Speaker 2: 15:33

It's a command, right, just like god has given us command in so many areas of our lives. It's a command, a command is something we need to obey. Christ is the captain of our salvation, is the bishop of our lives. It's a command, a command is something we need to obey. Christ is the captain of our salvation. He's the bishop of our souls, as the Bible has stated. And God is saying you need to go out. And we hear all these phrases I'm not called to do this or I'm not called to do that. And then we have this Christianity that is just about us, and we're deceiving ourselves. You and we're deceiving ourselves. You don't need a microphone to preach. You don't need a podium to preach. You don't need to become a church founder, a ministry founder, to preach. All you need is a burden for souls, burden for souls that are perishing, burden for souls that are dying.

Speaker 2: 16:18

The Bible said in Matthew, chapter 9, that Jesus Christ was moved with compassion Because he could see these people. They are like sheep without a shepherd. And Christ was moved with compassion because he could see these people. They are like sheep without a shepherd. And Christ was troubled. Christ was worried. He said pray that the father will bring more laborers into the field, because the fields are already harvest, they are ripe and they are ready to be harvest.

Speaker 2: 16:39

But today, what do we do? Ah, it's not my calling. You see someone that's singing? Oh, it's not my calling. You see someone that's singing? Oh, it's not my calling to preach. Or someone at the children's department, or someone who works with the youth, or someone who does the protocol, or someone who does the media, or someone who does the social media. Whatever, we have all these excuses. Listen, soul winning, preaching the gospel is not a spiritual gift, it's a command Go ye. Not a spiritual gift, it's a command Go ye. And that's why Jesus is saying to us today. The fact is clear. Jesus said go.

Speaker 2: 17:14

The question I'm asking you today and God is asking me why are we still sitting? Most people are so comfortable to just sit in their church. They go to this youth event; they sit there. They go to this young adult event, they sit there. They go to this men's conference, women's conference, that conference, that conference, they just sit. It's all about sitting and sitting. And the moment they get out of that place they're back into their car, they're home, they're back into the train or they take their flight. It's just about what they're gonna get from God. They're just sitting, Christian. They are not going to be Christian. And I'm asking you today, are you a sitting Christian or a going Christian for Christ?

Speaker 2: 17:47

Number four the reason why a lot of people are so quiet and they're not sharing is lack of discipleship. Oh, my goodness, this is one of the ones that I feel so sorry that the churches are discipling people, maybe just to be rich, it's okay to have everything in this life, okay to get good jobs, okay to do this, to do that's okay. But what is discipleship from christ's perspective? Most believers were converted to just sit in the church without doing anything, and I also want to let you know you were not just converted to just sit. You are commissioned. When you come to Christ, when Christ is in your heart, in your life, you are automatically commissioned.

Speaker 2: 18:43

We have been taught how to tie it, which is good, but what about how to tell the truth in love? What about how to communicate, what about how to suffer, how to carry your cross and follow the master, how to be like Christ, how to dedicate every opportunity you have to share the gospel without relenting back. What about that? I love what Jesus said in Matthew 4, verse 19,. Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. If you are not fishing, I don't think you are following, because evidence of following is fishing, and when you are fishing, you are following. So if you are not fishing, if you are not preaching, if you are not sharing Christ, well, I could conclude that you are not following. Or maybe you're following partially, but you're not fully following Christ, you're not taking your cross, you're not being fishers of men, and that is so sad. And the Lord is speaking to you today. The Holy Spirit is telling you can't continue to live this kind of comfort, self-centered Christianity that you think you're practicing.

Speaker 2: 20:03

Number five silent churches produce silent Christians. Some prophets are so afraid to offend the people in the church that they never preach about repentance. They never preach about hell. They never preach about people are dying. They never preach about repentance. They never preach about hell. They never preach about people are dying. They never preach about restitution. They never preach about sacrifice, unconditional focus on God, the first love of doing things for Christ. They never preach about the urgency of the gospel. They never preach about the great commission, the rescue mission. We all preach what is good to hear, something that self-centeredness promotes, putting us at the center, and that is very comfortable. And at the end of the day, the church is just full of people that just want to gain the whole world and possibly sometimes lose their souls, their souls. They're just full of people that do not understand that we are strangers and friends in this world, like Ephesians.

Speaker 2: 20:59

Chapter 2 told us that we are not permanent abode in this place. We are fellow citizens of God's kingdom and our attitude, our behavior, our character, our desires and the urgency of how we preach the gospel is not going to be hidden. So Paul did not die for motivational talking. I hope you know that. I mean I'm not saying there's anything wrong with motivational talking because I do that. It has its own place. But he died preaching the gospel. I love Paul. In Philippians, chapter 3, verse 10, it says that I might know him and the power of his resurrection be made conformable unto his death. Paul was only saying, even in that same book he said I've not apprehended, I've not arrived. I keep going forward. I keep pressing forward because he wanted to be like the master. He wanted to be like the son of God. He wanted to be like Christ. That commissioned him while he was on his way to Damascus, where he encountered Christ.

Speaker 2: 21:58

I want you to understand that everyone has a genuine encounter, a living encounter with Jesus Christ, you will not be silent, you will not keep quiet. Let me just inspire you a bit, because sometimes these statistics shake me. I hope it's going to shake you too. I hope it's going to shake you too. I hope it's gonna wake you up. Are you aware that 165,000 people die per day? Could you imagine the number of people that is going to die while you are watching this youtube video right now? And probably you just watch these videos and then you forget about it, you just don't bother yourself and you continue to say you're following Christ when you are not fishing.

Speaker 2: 22:39

Over 3 billion people in the world are unreached by the gospel. Let me say that again Over 3 billion people in the world are unreached by the gospel. Less than 2% of Christians share their faith regularly in any local church. It is sad. They're not passionate about others coming to Christ. They're not passionate about others coming to Christ. They're not passionate about seeing men being rescued from the jaw of hell. They are not passionate about seeing people rescued from the bondage that the devil has put them into. 81% of those who don't know Christ don't personally know a Christian that can share that with them. Isn't that shocking? Wouldn't that even make you cry and see how we have come to a point where we no longer see Jesus Christ as what each person needs in this world?

Speaker 2: 23:36

The harvest is ready. The workers are few. Will you go? You start from your home. You start with your neighbors. You start with your community. You start with your village. You start with your town. We start with your city. You start on the street, in your working place, on the car, on the train, when you're with people in the park. We have so many opportunities every single day and we don't just open our mouth to share the gospel. We don't tell anyone what Jesus have done on the cross of Calvary. You have to do something differently.

Speaker 2: 24:10

After listening to this, you cannot keep sitting when Jesus say go, okay, now what is a sow in a life. They're not someone that is perfect, but they're someone that is available. They're just available. They're available for the gospel. They're available to be used by God. A sow in a doesn't argue, he plants, and God is the one that brings the increase. And God is the one that brings the increase. God is the one that transforms the heart. God is the one that saves people.

Speaker 2: 24:46

It's really sad that we've come to a point where we are so comfortable. We don't even think about what is sow winning, what is evangelizing, what is rescuing people from hell, what is bringing them out of the condemnation of the guilt of sin? How can we put the devil out of their life? And we don't even think about these things anymore. Maybe you used to, but now you don't. You're so preoccupied about what you're going to get, what you're going to receive and all that. Everything about you is just centered on you. Some of your friends, they're on their way to hell. Some of them have even died because and you didn't say anything you never shared the gospel with them. Don't you think their blood is going to be required in your hand? Haven't you read that scripture before? There are people in the bible that never take any chances. Philip did not take any chances when there was a divine prompting in Acts, chapter 8. He went and he joined the shadow with the Ethiopian eunuch and he shared the gospel. He was reading, he was religious, but right there he opened his mind, his heart, by sharing Jesus and the man came to Christ. That was a journey, that was a traveling scenario, I'd say a moment to bring someone to Christ.

Speaker 2: 26:01

What about the woman at the well? Jesus Christ witnessed this woman immediately. She just come in to get some water from the well. I don't think this is a comfortable time. I think we can talk about this later. I will try to find her address or find out when she's going to come back here. Find her address or find out when she's going to come back here. Christ was trying to tell us you don't need to feel ready 100% before you preach, because you are not the one preaching. The Holy Spirit is going to preach through you. If you're honest and direct, every day, there are opportunities and time that God will want to use you to tell somebody about Jesus Christ. Christ did it right with the woman at the well.

Speaker 2: 26:38

What about Stephen? Stephen preached to his killers While they were stoning him to death in Acts, chapter 7, while they were stoning him, he was preaching to them. He said God, don't hold this against them, because they don't know what they're doing. You are a living later. You're walking testimony, a voice in the wilderness, like John the Baptist, and God is saying it is time for us to wake up, it is time for us to rise. How long are we going to continue like this? How long are we going to continue living like Christ? It's not enough.

Speaker 2: 27:09

So I'm going to show you how to become a soul winner. How do you become one Number one? Get along with God again. You can pour out what you have not received. You need to have intimacy with Jesus, and it's sad if you're trying to talk about Jesus when you don't even have him in the first place, when you are still living in sin, in disobedience and in rebellion, when you constantly, habitually walk in unrighteousness. The works of the flesh is in your life. Why would you go and tell somebody about Jesus when you are not living right? Make your way right, have a right standing with God first and then have intimacy with God. That is where the relationship starts.

Speaker 2: 27:52

Sometimes I wonder do people actually have true relationship with Christ. If Christ is part of your life, there is no way Jesus Christ will not inspire you to speak, prompt you to speak and the Holy Spirit push you to do something. So this is why you need to get along with God again. The world is so crazy, the world is so full of busyness everywhere and if you realize in your life you're very busy now, you've got promotion from work, you've got your business work, you've got your business, your ambitions, you have your goals, your things you want to achieve and, yeah, everything is working out well.

Speaker 2: 28:24

But what about intimacy with god? What about time of prayer, time of fasting, time of seeking the lord? You thought about the kind of prayer you pray these days for the past couple of months and weeks and years. It's not just about what you're going to get for your family, get for yourself, get for this, get for that. It's just all about you.

Speaker 2: 28:40

When have you fasted for a sinner before? When have you fasted for those that are dying? When have you taken some time to say I'm gonna fast for these men and women that don't know christ, or even the people in your family that have not known jesus christ? When have you sat down and just take time to pray and to seek God to touch their lives. When have you done that? So, number one, get along with God.

Speaker 2: 29:04

Number two ask the Holy Spirit for boldness. You know the Bible said in Acts 4, verse 31,. And when they had prayed, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spoke the word of God with boldness. The Holy Spirit can give you boldness for you to talk about Jesus. The Holy Spirit can give you boldness for you to talk about who God is. And this is so powerful. You can't do this by yourself and that was why, before Jesus Christ left the earth, he told them. He said they should tarry, they should wait, in Luke 24, verse 46 to 49. He told them to wait in Jerusalem until they be endued with the power from on high.

Speaker 2: 29:40

Evangelism is not about your eloquence. It's not about your tactical stuff. It's not about your earthly wisdom. It's not about you know who you are and whatever you can do, and your experiences. It's about the Holy Spirit. It's the one that convicts, it's the one that makes the men and women to come to Jesus. You don't save anyone, I can't save anyone, you can't save anyone and you never died for them anyway. So why are you walking with the arms of the flesh? Why are you walking by your own strength? This is why you need to surrender yourself to the Holy Spirit. You need to allow the Holy Spirit to take over your mind, take over your heart, your thoughts, and that's how you get a boldness to even share the gospel. In some places we call awkward or situations that we don't even want to mention anything about God.

Speaker 2: 30:26

And then, number three start small, but start now. You can witness in the parking spaces. You can see somebody there. You can witness in the grocery place and maybe, while you are taking your grocery, you can visit your cashier, drop something there, you can leave a note with your bill or whatever. You can share your testimony online. You can pray for your coworker. There are so many opportunities you can do. If you're intentional about this, because someone's soul is connected to you today, can you say yes? Can you start now? Or you're thinking I need to feel right. I need to feel right, but God has already told you go. If you're really in Christ, you've given yourself and you've prayed, just go and practice. Start small, start with your kids. Start with your brothers and sisters and friends and nieces and cousins. Start with those around you. Start with where you are. There are souls everywhere. They are waiting to meet jesus. They're waiting to understand that christ died for them. You have the gift of eternal life. Why are you holding back? Why are you sitting? Why are you not going out? Christ said go, and you are still sitting. You need to get out. You need to wake up, because jesus wants you to speak for him. Number four say yes.

Speaker 2: 31:43

In the awkward moments, some of the most divine encounters face inconvenient and uncomfortable, and I want to share something here. There was a day I wanted to go and post later and I went to the post office. So while I stood and there were people behind me, it was so awkward the Holy Spirit said to me to preach to the ladies having me Now. People were behind me and this would rush our time in the morning. Oh, my goodness, I was okay. This is awkward.

Speaker 2: 32:19

So while she was still trying to give me my receipt and trying to take out the parcel, the Holy Spirit is saying you can't leave your preach to this lady now. I was just so uncomfortable and the moment she gave me the receipt I knew God was speaking to me. I knew the Holy Spirit was talking to me, was prompting me, and I said, excuse me, ma, I just want to talk to you about Jesus me. I knew the Holy Spirit was talking to me, was prompting me, and I said excuse me, ma, I just want to talk to you about Jesus Christ. I want to tell you that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you. And then she got angry and screamed and said no, I don't want to hear this. And that I was so calm and she said all sorts of things and people were behind me. I said, look, I will be leaving right now, but whatever has happened in your life, god is telling me that he loves you and Jesus died for you on the cross of Calvary, and Jesus wants you to come back to him. Jesus wants you to surrender your life to him. Jesus wants you to give your life to him, and I can tell you today if you make up your mind to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your life will never remain the same. And I did that and I walked away. Now, that was such an awkward moment, and I and I did that and I walked away. Now, that was such an awkward moment and I had to preach the gospel right, so God can test you at different times to see whether you will go, whether you obey in terms of the prompting that is given to you. And then I remember another encounter which was very powerful.

Speaker 2: 33:32

I traveled to a particular country to speak. So while I was coming back, I was just waiting to board the plane and the Holy Spirit said to me that I'll be preaching inside the plane. I'll be speaking in the plane. Now I was a bit nervous, I was uncomfortable with that. So I started negotiating with the Holy Spirit while I was waiting to board the plane that can I do that when I get to London? Why do you want me to preach on the plane? You don't preach on the plane. I was given reasons why I shouldn't preach on the plane and I was rationalizing it and hearing the voice of the holy spirit, my spirit, saying you need to preach, you need to preach. So I accepted to preach.

Speaker 2: 34:10

So while I was there I started thinking about how am I going to start? I was even thinking does he want me to preach, like to everybody in the plane, and just stand up and preach? That's awkward, that's weird. So I was just a bit worried. I'm scared and didn't know how to handle the whole scenario. But I just believe that god is going to take control.

Speaker 2: 34:28

So I boarded the plane and I sat on my seat on the plane. So I was not getting ready to preach. I totally wanted to stand up to preach to everybody, but it was so surprising. Anytime I stood up to preach. The moment I stood up and I tried to say something, it seems that someone is pulling me back and he's saying sit down, sit not. Now. I'm like you know, I did that three times but I was restrained not to preach, I was restrained not to speak. So when I sat down and I was wondering, you said I should preach. You said I should speak about you and I want to preach. So why are you holding me back? But I didn't know. He had a different plan. So while we're all seated in the plane and we're getting ready to take off, suddenly I realized that because I was sitting by the window, so the two seat beside me on my left hand side was vacant and I looked around. The whole place was so filled up.

Speaker 2: 35:31

Suddenly, just before we took off, they brought a man, a very elderly man. I think he should be in his 80s. He was supposed to sit at the back but they brought him to come and sit close to me so he sat on the first seat. While I was there, the Holy Spirit told me this is the man I want you to preach to. Wow. I said okay.

Speaker 2: 35:56

So while we all got settled and the plane took off and then I greeted him and asked him about his life and where he's coming from. So we just had an engagement just to build rapport and connection. And he told me about his parents. Mom and dad has passed away. Obviously he's in his eighties and he told me about things he Mom and dad has passed away. Obviously he's in his 80s, and he told me about things he does. I was just listening. Then I just engaged him in the gospel and I brought Jesus Christ into the whole situation, using the plane just to link it up. While we're here, we're right at the top. Christ came from up down and one day we're all going to go back up again. That means only those that came to Christ and given their life will be able to go up when he comes.

Speaker 2: 36:35

And then I didn't know that he triggered something because when he was younger, mom and dad used to take him to church, but he fell off from God and he didn't believe in God anymore so he started just doing his own thing. Mom and dad died as Christians, as believers. They were devoted Christians, this British couple. When he passed away, he slept God for a very long time. So I started sharing with him and he looks frail as well, someone that might possibly might not stay here for a very long time. So I shared the gospel with him. He was so excited and he told me the reason why he doesn't believe in God and I was able to use apologetics and explain and talk about things.

Speaker 2: 37:09

And then this man was just broken right there while we are 35 000 feet in the air, and he started crying. He gave his life to jesus christ and when I told him to do the sinner's prayer, he was praying loudly. So the people behind us and the people beside and people were all turning back and they were just asking god to forgive him and he wants to give his life to jesus. And he was praying so loud. I was trying to touch him to calm down, but he wouldn't listen. He was just praying. And then this man gave his life to Christ. It was such a powerful encounter and experience while we are 35,000 feet in the air. And his father had a friend that the son is a pastor in the church in London and that one have tried to bring him to Christ but it's not been working and he doesn't want to have any conversation about that. But he was so fascinated to listen to me I knew that was the Holy Spirit and that was the appointed time for him to come to Christ. So by the time we're going to London and he reunited back with a man that had been telling him about God and he connected to the local church and called to follow Christ from there.

Speaker 2: 38:15

Now, these stories that I've shared is quite an interesting story, because Holy Spirit can speak to you to do something that you don't want to do. Right, preaching in the plane for me was very awkward. I didn't understand that this is what he meant. I didn't know that there was somebody there that he wants me to bring to Christ. But just like the Holy Spirit prompted Philip to join the Ethiopian in the chariot, that's the same way the Holy Spirit can prompt you. But remember, you need to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, you need to have a relationship with God. You need to be willing, you need to be available, you need to be connected to be able to have this powerful opportunity that God can use you to bring someone to Christ, and it's important for you to know that it is now.

Speaker 2: 38:56

I have hundreds of several stories when I've preached the gospel in times that I don't even want to preach the gospel, but God will inspire, you, will lead, you will prompt, you will guide you into those moments, and sometimes you may not even hear anything, but you know that the gospel sharing is a command and you have to do it every time. Anywhere you must be ready to talk about Jesus Christ, and this is why you need to obey the Great Commission today. You need to stop being silent. And if I ask you, are you not tired of being silent? Are you not tired of not winning his soul or bringing anybody to Jesus? Because if you are done with comfort and you are ready to join the rescue mission, I want you to type say here I am, lord, send me in the comment box, share this message with someone that might just catch the fire, someone that needs to rise, or maybe you have a friend, a Christian, but you guys, the fire is not burning and you guys are not charged up. It's really important that you share this with them. Make sure that they are part of this community, because we're here to encourage you today, empower each other and to help us rise.

Speaker 2: 40:16

This is the hour of preaching. This is the hour of harvest. This is a call for you to wake up from your comfort. This is the moment where God wants you to rise and begin to see men and women transform and change their lives and bringing them into the kingdom of God. The question is are you still going to sit or are you going to get up and go, just like Jesus said? Christ is depending on you and Christ needs you, and if you've not given your life to Jesus Christ, it's an opportunity for you to do so right now. So ask God to forgive you, and for those that have not been preaching, you also need to ask for forgiveness. Or maybe God has even prompted you, as so many times, but you've not been able to follow through, and that's disobedience. You can say God, I'm sorry, and then you start making up your mind to follow Christ, start making up your mind to walk in His ways, start making up your mind to be empowered so that you can be strengthened to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. God is looking at you, god is waiting for you and God is interested to see you become empowered, become energized, so that Christ will be seen in your life. Speaker 2: 41:58

I would like us to pray right now. Holy Spirit, set me on fire again. Make me born for souls. Break my heart for the lost. Give me the burden that will help me focus in telling other people about Jesus. Fill me with the boldness of Christ. Send me Lord, use me Lord. I surrender everything to you. Let your signs and wonders that you promised follow me. Let the gospel go forth through my voice. Deliver me from sitting and help me to go at your command. Give me the spirit and the grace to follow through in this rescue mission. Let me never be silent again. Rescue mission. Let me never be silent again, increase my boldness and my passion for the lost souls In Jesus' name, amen.
