Are you truly seeking souls… or are you secretly seeking status, recognition, titles, and visibility within church culture?

In this deeply convicting, awakening, and transformational episode, we confront one of the most dangerous shifts happening in modern Christianity today: believers becoming more passionate about platforms, positions, influence, and recognition than the burden for lost souls.

While billions of people around the world still live without Christ, many believers have become distracted by church politics, self-promotion, image building, competition, and the desire to be seen, known, and celebrated publicly.

This episode exposes the uncomfortable reality that many Christians are active in church activities but inactive in evangelism.

We explore:

  • the global reality of lost souls
  • the burden of eternity
  • why many believers lost passion for evangelism
  • how status seeking silently replaces Kingdom focus
  • the danger of selfish Christianity
  • why soul winning still matters deeply
  • how believers can return to true Kingdom priorities again

This is not a motivational episode.

This is a spiritual wake-up call.

A call back to:

  • burden for souls
  • holiness
  • compassion
  • evangelism
  • sacrifice
  • true intimacy with God

Because one day:
titles will disappear,
platforms will disappear,
recognition will disappear,
church positions will disappear.

But souls are eternal.

And maybe the greatest question every believer must ask themselves today is this:

Am I building God’s Kingdom…
or am I building my own image within church culture?

Welcome And The Great Commission

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to the Care Podcast with Brother Tendat, a podcast inspired by Mark 16, verses 15 through 16. And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved. But he who does not believe will be condemned. The goal of care, Christ Ambassadors Reaching Everywhere, is to spread the gospel of Christ to all. So feel free to download each episode and share with as many people as you can. Time is short, so we must do our part for Jesus before time runs out.

SPEAKER_03

I want to say welcome to Christ Ambassadors Reaching Everywhere Podcast. In the short form, we say Care Podcast. And I believe you've been having a great time with the Lord Jesus. And I believe that God has been so faithful to you in many ways. Our conversation today is going to focus on something that perhaps we are doing, or our attention has been shifted to something else. And I want you to be open-minded about this. Because I believe that God, through the Holy Spirit, will use this conversation today probably to just wake you up or spouse something in you or just lift you up again so that your priorities and your focus will be on something that God really, really wants every one of us to take very seriously. I'll

Seeking Souls Or Seeking Status

SPEAKER_03

be talking on are you seeking souls or seeking status in Christ? Before I dive into some of the things I'm going to be covering in this podcast, I need you to pause for a moment. And I want you to examine your heart before God. Because today's conversation might not entirely be what you would have thought. The conversation is going to be confrontational. It could be prophetic. It could be liberating. It could be a breakthrough for you. But overall, it's a wake-up call to us, generation of believers today, that perhaps probably had slowly become more passionate about visibility than carrying the burden of souls. There are many believers today that are more passionate about titles than tears for the lost. They are more passionate about platforms than effectual, dynamic prayer life. They are more passionate about recognition than true repentance that we want to see happen to those that have not experienced Jesus Christ. Some are more passionate about their church culture, their church doctrine, their church philosophies, their church this or that, than actually crying for the dying souls all around them. And I can tell you that this is a painful reality. It is a painful reality. And God wants us to change the dynamics of how we view those that Christ has paid a huge price for. Are you aware that hell is increasing daily? Why many believers are busy building personal empires inside church walls? So they are dying every second. Men are dying, women are dying, young people are dying, children are dying, families are dying. And many without Christ, many without the assurance of a blissful eternity, and many without ever hearing the true gospel properly. And yet many believers are fighting over microphones. They are fighting over positions, titles, departmental heads, invitations, visibility, seating arrangement, leadership roles, recognition, self-promotions, applause of men. Don't you think that while we are busy within our churches looking for who is going to be this, who is going to be that, without realizing that while we are doing this, many are dying. I think this should break our hearts. The church should be carrying the burden for the lost. You are the church, I am the church. But today, many people are carrying branding and they are pushing for branding. Now, personal branding, all sorts of branding are necessary. They're important because it crystallizes your message, it tells people what you stand for, and hopefully engages with your products or services that you offer. But while those things are important, we should not be consumed by just the branding of things, of that. Some churches have departments that focus on branding. They have the branding of the lights, the branding of this, the branding of that. But the church are the people that make up the building. They're supposed to carry the zeal of Christ, they're supposed to carry the burden of the lost. Because that's what the apostles did before. Today, many are just carrying image management. Jesus did not just die so we could become religious celebrities, religious influencers, religious figures that are just there without any spiritual transformational impacts to bring many to Christ. Christ died for the souls of men. And somewhere along the line, many believers have lost the burden for eternity. And if you think about your life right now, there are possibilities that your parities and your focus is about what you're gonna get. You are now a consumer kind of believer. You are focused on what I can get, not what I can give. We have become so comfortable why the world is perishing right in front of us. We are comfortable in having huge mega conferences, we are comfortable in our church programs, youth programs, young adults programs, children programs, women programs, men programs, couple programs, entrepreneurial programs, programs and programs and more programs. We are comfortable in our church politics, our church this, our church that we are better than them. We do this, we do that. Comfortable in this ritualistic, lifeless Christianity. Why millions are heading right in front of us to eternity that is possibly destructive? Listen carefully. The world population is over 8 billion right now. I think about 8.2 billion, thereabout. Now, Asia alone has about approximately 4.8 billion people. Are you aware that less than 10% of these people they don't identify as Christians? Billions remain unreached. In fact, Christianity today, which I'm going to share with you just in a little while, just open your eyes to understand the reality of what we're facing. Billions of people are unreached. And I will explain to you in a little while. Are you also aware that even among those that are identified as Christians, not everyone is genuinely born again? All you need to know that Christianity today is about 2.5 billion people. Now, not all the 2.5 billion people have found Christ, even though they are within the wall of a church or identify as Christians. Like checklist, if you know what I mean. Not everybody shouting hallelujah truly knows Jesus. Not everybody serving in ministry is surrendered to Christ. Not everybody carrying title carries intimacy with God. And even Jesus said in Matthew chapter 7, verse 21 to 23, not everyone that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. He will even say, You depart from me, ye that walk in equity. Now, some people will come and say, Oh, we have healed, oh, we have prayed, or we have been part of the church program, protocol unit, choir, this and that. If you understand how serious this is, this should probably humble you even deeply. Because Christianity was never supposed to be about self-promotion, it wasn't supposed to be self-centeredness, it was always about surrender to a Lord, surrender to Christ. It was about souls, it was about eternity, and maybe one of the most dangerous things happening to the modern Christianity today is this many believers are active in church but absent in evangelism, busy in ministry, but disconnected from God's burden to bring the lost back to his kingdom. They are known publicly, great social media profiles, great followings, but empty privately. I mean, think about it. There are two key Christian disciplines that will actually give you the right metrics, KPIs, or the right measurement of the aliveness of the people in your church. When evangelism is being called, check how many people that show up. When there is a prayer meeting for soul winning, not prayer meeting for yourself, needs. Check how many people that show up. See, God's people, we can't continue like this. This generation does not need more famous Christians. This generation needs burdened believers, believers who still weep for souls, believers who still preach boldly, believers who still carry compassion. The Bible says Jesus was moved with compassion in Matthew chapter 9, verse 35. It tells it very clearly he was moved with compassion when he saw that these people are without any guide, no shepherd. And then he has to pray God to send more laborers. Believers who still fear God genuinely, believers who still remember eternity is nearer than we can ever think. It is appointed unto my wants to die, and after that, judgment. Believers who knows that if they don't do anything about their neighbor, their friends, and all those around them, God will require the blood of these people in their hands. Do we still have believers that know that the key mission while they are still here? It's not just for the accumulation of this or that, it's not just for being famous, it's not just for being this, it's not just for you to just get married and have babies and repopulate the earth. That's not just the primary reason those things are necessary. You were saved to serve, you are saved to bring others to God's kingdom. In fact, if you think about it in Matthew chapter 4, the Bible said that Jesus told them he was not calling them to just have merriment. Luke, John, it wasn't for entertainment. Christ brought these people to himself. He said, I will make you fishers of men. Efficiers of men, there are people that bring other people to Christ, make them disciples, bring other people to Christ, make them disciples. Can I ask you, are you making what? You need to understand that one day these platforms that we are all chasing about they will disappear. One day, all our titles will mean nothing. One day, all the recognitions and the awards will mean nothing. They will disappear. One day, all these church titles, church position, church influenza, church this, church that will disappear. But souls are eternal, souls are forever, and one day we will stand before God and give account for how we lived our lives from an evangelical soul-winning perspective, not just trying to get to heaven. The question will not be how famous were you, how powerful was your titles, how great was your empire you have built under your personal branding? The question will be, Did you represent Christ faithfully in every detail of your life? Now we all have talent, we all have gifts, we all have abilities and potentials, and we're all developing it for humanity to serve the world. Great. But it's gonna ask you, did you represent me faithfully in all these things that I've given you ability to do? Today, this postcard is calling us back to what true authentic Christianity is all about: a call back to burden, a call back to true authentic holiness, a call back to the fear of God, a call back to evangelism, a call back to compassion, a call back to eternity, a call back to truly give yourself to what you once used to actively believe and worked on.

A Prayer To Restore Burden

SPEAKER_03

Look, I've not even started my stuff because my heart is burdened. I want us to pray. Because I want God to help you and me to stop chasing a lot of the things that we call critically important, that God will help me and you to start chasing souls all over again. Heavenly Father, we sincerely come before you today with humility, reverence, and repentance in our hearts. Lord, I ask that you will search our hearts personally, search our mind personally, search our motive personally, every pride, every selfish ambition, every desire for recognition above your will, every distraction from soul winning, every coldness towards the loss, every deadness inside us. Father, expose it and remove it from us. Lord, forgive us for the times we have become so less passionate about soul winning, about eternity, and now we are so crowded with distraction of title seeking, of position seeking, of famous seeking. Forgive us from becoming comfortable while we see souls right in front of us dying and going to hell. Forgive us for making Christianity about ourselves instead of your kingdom. Baptize us again with genuine burden for souls. Break every heart, oh God, for what breaks yours. Let us see people the way you see them, not looking at them as trees, not looking at them as objects. Lord, remove spiritual laziness from us, remove lukewarmness and coldness from us, remove fear and intimidation from us. Fill us with the grace and the strength and the power of boldness to declare the gospel without being ashamed. The Bible says that we should not be ashamed of the gospel, it's the power of God unto salvation to those that will receive this. Lord, we pray in any way we have lowered our standard, in any way we have not been able to focus totally on you. We ask that the revival fire will burn again within us, within our churches, within our organizations, within whatever we think we have built. Raise believers who will truly carry your fire, carry your power, carry your holiness. Believers who will love to pray for souls, believers who will love souls like you loved them, believers who will be moved with compassion to do everything, paratizing their days to see that the kingdom of God is populated and the kingdom of darkness is decreased. Believers who will not be seeking for fame, but will be faithful for the call of going into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Lord, awaken all of us, all the sleeping giants, convict us that are compromising with the standard that you have set before us. Restore the brokenness, restore our lives, restore everything that the enemy has taken away. Lord, strengthen our weary hands, strengthen our weary minds. I pray that this podcast will not just be for information, will not just be for entertainment, will not just be to hear, but God move forward to action, move forward to transformation, move forward to restoration, restore the burden to see evangelism fire return again. Let the fire of souls return again. Give us the hunger for righteousness, the hunger to please you above our wishes, our rights. Lord, we pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit will burn within us. We will not just be seeking for image, we'll not just be running after our lives, but we give ourselves to see many people come to Christ that Jesus has died for. Use us again for your glory. Help us to preach Jesus boldly, help us to live holily again, help us to seek the Lord passionately. May our life bring many souls to your kingdom. Lord, we pray that in all your name will be glorified. Want to thank you because as we go into this podcast, set our hearts on fire again. Thank you, Jesus, because we know you've answered. In Christ's name, we have prayed. Amen. Let

Your World Is Your Mission Field

SPEAKER_03

us start. Let's have this conversation. And like I said before, this conversation might be a little bit uncomfortable because we don't want to stay where we were, we want to change things. The Bible said in Mark chapter 16, verse 15, say, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospels to every creature. Go ye. It's very active. You are not to stay in one place. Your world can be your family, your world can be your immediate neighborhood, your word can be your village, your world can be your urban towns, your world can be the cities in your country, your world can be in different locations and regions, your world can be different parts of the world. Go ye. Your world can be at your workplace, marketplace, business place, your work can be in the grocery store, your work can be in the warehouse, your work can be in your professional environment, your work can be on the field, on the pitch, your work can be on the playground, your work is anywhere where human beings are found. Go ye. And when you go, he's saying that you should not focus on titles seeking, you should not focus on trying to elevate yourself, it's not focused on just seeking for positions, it's not focused on just trying to get recognitions and seeking for where you will be more visible. Inasmuch as those things are necessary, that should not be your primary focus, that should not be the intention why you are going out. You're going out because souls are dying, you're going out because you've been commanded by God to actively engage human beings to bring them to the kingdom of the Father. We are Christ's ambassadors, we are representative of Jesus on earth. We are his legs, we are his hands, we are his mouth. Let me remind you again of critical perspective around why we need to be serious than what we are doing today. Because I'm addressing those that have refused to preach, have refused to become relational to bring others to Christ. I'm addressing those that have lacked the fire that they once had. They've lost it. So they can regain the fire back and go back to the Lord so they can begin to speak for Christ in a way that will see other people come to Him. And I'm speaking for those that don't even believe that evangelism is necessary any longer. As long as they or their family is okay, there is no need to preach. I'm speaking to those that believe that the world has changed significantly. We are in a different era, we're in a different generation. The dynamics of the world does not allow the relevance of sharing the gospel to anyone any longer. Therefore, we should all keep our minds short and let Satan take many with him. Can I challenge that perspective a minute? The world

The Unreached Millions And The Urgency

SPEAKER_03

population is over 8.2 billion, like I said earlier. Africa has about 1.5 billion people, Europe has about over 700 million people, North America has over 600 million people, South America has over 430 million people, total Christianity population in the world, like I said before, is about 2.5 billion. Are you aware that over 5 billion people do not know Christ in the world? Now, could you imagine now if Jesus comes right now, there's a possibility that over 5 billion will still be remaining here? And then we might just have maybe just about over a billion, or we might just have two billion. So are we saying that it is good that the number of people that will be raptured that will go to heaven should be less than the number of people that will go to hell? Is that what Jesus came for? Christ came to depopulate hell. And look, in spite of the growth of Christianity globally, the amount of people outside Christ is still massively greater than the true believers today. I think this is more sobering than we have ever thought. Even within the 2.5 billion people in the world today, are you aware that not everybody? Who calls themselves Christians today are genuinely in Christ, or their names are written in the book of life. Not everybody attending church has surrendered their life to Christ. That's very clear. Look at your church, look all around you. Not everybody singing worship songs is living holy. Not everybody preaching Christ today has intimity with God. Not everybody serving in ministry truly knows Jesus. And that should scare you. So the number that we're claiming, which involve the Orthodox Christians, Catholicism, Jehovah's Witness, Mammon, Pentecostal, Evangelical, Anglican, just keep naming them. Just know that not everyone had encountered the Lord. So which means that the harvest is far bigger than many Christians had realized. Yet instead of bodily for souls, many believers are consumed with status seeking who had noticed me? Who had promoted me? Who would give me this position? Who would recognize me? Who is gonna post me? Who is gonna like me? Who is gonna comment me? Who is gonna share me? Who is gonna honor me publicly? While we are busy in the ministry of self-centeredness and self-promotion, hell is being enlarged every single day, eating men and women into Christless eternity. So I want you to understand that the tragedy that we are facing today is bigger than we have ever thought. And I don't know what has happened to you that along the line you stop seeking the lost. Now, all you are concerned about is 100% visibility, which isn't a batting in itself. But now that's all you are focusing on self-promotion and self-centeredness. Even the visibility, you're not using it to bring people to Christ. It's all about your own ego, it's all about your own thing, it's all about your own selfish interest. What about the interest of Christ and the kingdom of God? And that is the tragedy of the modern Christianity. One of the biggest pain is that many believers are active in church, but inactive in soul winning. I mean, you listening to me right now, aren't you involved in one activity or the other? I'm not saying whether you are busy in church or not, because it's clear that you're quite busy. But you are absent in the soul winning and evangelizing arena. You know your church doctrines, you know your church culture, you know your church this or that, but how much of God's burden for the lust do you carry or do you know the severity of not doing it? Jesus did not die for church politics or for church branding. Jesus died for the church to wake up and get other people out of the kingdom of darkness. He died that we will see men and women being translated by the redemptive power of his blood from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the kingdom of God. If me and you continue to give excuses why we are not actively seeking the lost, why we are not going out to see those that Christ has died for in their deplorable, sinful state and see them the way God sees them, what do you think is going to happen? They will all perish. But the Bible says it is not the will of God that any man will perish. He wants all to come to repentance. That's what the scripture says. But many believers today are passionate about what they will get. I mean, you won't believe how many people fight for leadership positions within the church walls. Fight to be this, fight to be that. Protocol heads, I'm going to be pastor, I want to be choir leader, departmental heads, recognition workers. They are always fighting for something. Sometimes they keep malice, sometimes they don't greet the person, sometimes they begin to maneuver themselves, they begin to do favoritism, partiality, all these things are just skimming their ways to get noticed in the church. There's not even one billion population right there. I mean, think about your city right now, think about your hamlet or village, think about wherever you are right now. The number of people that are not saved, the number of people that have not encountered Christ are greater than the number of people that have known who God is. In fact, the population of people in your immediate surroundings, they are they far outweigh the number of people that is in your church. It doesn't matter whether you call your church microchurch, medium church, advanced church, mega church, whatever kind of church, there are still a number of people outside that are more than the number of people in your church. Let us sink in for a minute. We are not doing maintenance Christianity, we are doing protectionalising Christianity. Everything about us today, now, my denomination, denominationalism has possessed many of us instead of the spirit of soul winning possessing us. This is dangerous. The early church carried the burden. Today we are carrying something else. You won't believe how many believers are competing inside church. Why millions are heading to eternity without Christ? I mean, this should break your heart, isn't it? Even the numbers alone should trouble us. Just think about Asia alone, 4.8 billion people, yet less than 10% identify as Christians. Now, not every one of them, even in the Christian category, from that 10%, their names all are in the book of life. That means looking at the entire world population, the work is enormous, huge. Many are unriched for Christ. There are so many people that have not met the Lord. There are so many countries that are spiritually dead. A lot of them are also resistant to the gospel. There are so many communities that have not been reached in your country. There are so many villages that have not been even touched. There are many cities that are spiritually dark. So even in the supposedly Christian nations, many people are culturally Christians but spiritually lost. You see what I mean? Culturally, but spiritually disconnected from the King of Kings. So it tells you that the harvest is mercy. We're distracted by what we're gonna get. We are distracted by competition, we're distracted by influence, we're distracted by social media validations, by likes and forwards and comments. We're distracted by seeking this and seeking that. And everything is all about self-promotion. What about promoting soul women? Meanwhile, people are dying without Christ every single day. Yet we are norm towards it. But let me ask you, how can you actually say you love Christ? Why have you no or little burden for the lost? I mean, confront this question seriously.

When Church Titles Become The Goal

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna share something with you today. This is just a relatable story about what I'm sharing. I remember hearing about in a church where believers almost caused massive division because of who is gonna lead in the choir. They had meetings, they had favourites, they argued, there were bitterness, there was gossiping, there was a lot of offenses, competition was everywhere. In fact, the worst part is that they acquired members that refused to greet or speak to others just because of the title race. Something was happening outside the immediate church war. Right in that city, right in that place. People were depressed, people were suicidal, the young ones are lost, there were people with addictions, families were hurting, people were in all sorts of deplorable, confused, and hopeless states. But the believers so-called were consumed with eternal politics. That who will notice me? Why no one is seeing what is going on outside? Isn't this heartbreaking? Now imagine if believers fought for souls the same way they fight for every platform visibility. Imagine if believers were diligent, persevering, and enduring the way they tactically practicalize ways to get what they want from a leadership race. Imagine if believers pursue the evangelism with the same energy that they pursue award and success and victories and financial breakthroughs. I think the world will be different. Just imagine if just over 2 billion believers, Christians in the world, even if we have 500 million of that, even if we have 100 million of that, even if we have 50 million of that, become surrendered to the Lord, baptized with the power and the fire of God, zealous like those in the acts of the apostles after the Holy Ghost came down. I can tell you these 50 million will change the world. And this begs me to ask, what was Jesus' instruction to us after we got saved? Jesus never said, Go and seek status, go and become this and become that. Go and seek for validations first, go and be recognized first, go and get the award first, go and get the titles and the position first. He said, Go into all the world and preach the gospel. I mean, how simple and straightforward is that statement? Do we need do we need interpretation for that again? I mean, do you still need GPT or Google to interpret that for you again? The assignment is clear. Get the souls out of darkness. Because souls are eternal, the buildings are temporal, the church locations are temporal, the titles are temporal, the platforms that we're using are temporal, the fame and the influence, they are all temporal, but souls are eternal. One soul matters deeply to heaven than anything put together on this earth. Did you remember when Jesus said he left 99 for one? One. Yet many believers today barely notice the lost one around them. Some believers cannot even preach publicly because they are afraid of embarrassment, they are afraid of their own reputation. So they are doing everything to protect, they are concerned about how they will be viewed. Maybe this one is radical, maybe this one is religious, maybe this one is too much for me. This one, this and that, and that and that. They have all these excuses. The Bible said, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men to myself. And the Bible said, Let your light so shine. Is it the light of talent and gifts and abilities that we need to shine now only? What about the light of the gospel, the light of Christ, the light of the world, which is Jesus? Some are spiritually comfortable. Why millions remain spiritually dying and they have an unconsigned state every day? They don't care. I think one of our biggest problems is the comfort that we have in Christ that has made us to become so numb, so complacent about the reality of what is gonna happen to billions of people on the earth. And I'm telling you, this is serious.

Self Check Signs Of Status Seeking

SPEAKER_03

So, how do you know what are the signs you may be seeking status modern souls? And I want you to just think about this for a minute. This is serious. You have to be honest, you have to be real about this, and you have to really examine your heart where's your treasure? Is your treasure souls or your treasures what you will eat, what you will wear, and what shelter you're gonna build for yourself? If you see any of these signs in your life, there is a reality check you have to do because there's a possibility that you are drifting into selfish Christianity instead of soul-winning Christianity. If you see this, it's possible now you are drifting to spectator kind of Christianity. If you desire visibility more than the lost and the burden for them, I think it's important we balance this. When I say visibility, I'm not saying that you should not use marketing, you should not use ads, you should not use whatever it means to promote whatever it is you're doing. It's important for you to let's get that clear. But when your ambition, when your intent, yeah, when the thing that drives you to whatever you are doing is for self-centeredness, it's for self-promotion without any soul relevance attached to it, without any Christ promotion attached to it, when it's all about you, because the world is consumed with visibility today. I mean, it's everything we know about that, but when that is all you seek, no more seeking bodies, no more seeking for souls and searching and praying and looking after how you will get somebody that is close to you that have not found Christ. When that is no more an interest in your daily goals, then you are possibly seeking status. When you enjoy church recognition more than evangelism, I mean, there are people in the church that are so passionate with the religious, ritualistic activities, they are so passionate with what the pastor or the leaders can see them do because they love that reference point. He did this, she did that. We just love that. But the person that they are giving this applause, the person they are giving this promotion, the person they are being recognized and made reference in preaching, in statements, in emails, in newsletters, this person is completely fruitless. There is no soul attached to this person's name. And when you are so possessed with that recognition, well, you're seeking status. When you really speak to unbelievers about Christ, you have a business, you sell products both online and offline. You go to work, you go to the groceries, you go to the garage, you go to the petrol stations, you go to different events, conferences, workshops, you go to different places, you go to connecting and collaboration events, you do all this. You greet your neighbors, you go to the local community meetings, you are involved in a lot of things. You're not an island. You get into a taxi, you get into Uber, you get into buses, you get into planes, you go to the airports. Like you are constantly seeing human beings. So you can't say that you're in a place that you are not able to have access to those that have souls like you. But you rarely talk about Jesus, you rarely bring Christ into any conversation. Even when you are prompted that you should do it, you don't. Because you want to protect your image, you want to protect your reputation, you want to protect whatever it is that you think you have, then you're seeking status. You are active in church, but inactive outside church. I mean, there are some believers and churchgoers that when you go to church, everybody knows very active, very serious, very passionate about church activities. See them outside is probably like they're deaf and dumb. When you love titles more than sacrifice, the Bible said in Matthew that we should follow Christ, right? But to do that, he said we should deny ourselves and pick up our cross and follow him. And Jesus said, if you're not lose yourself, then you will not be able to be my true disciple, my true follower. The word sacrifice today, I think it's becoming bizarre to even use that word in church or use that word among Christians: sacrifice, self-endurance. Philippians chapter 1, verse 29 says, We're not just called to believe in Christ alone, but also called to suffer for Christ. We're talking about the suffering for the gospel, suffering for reaching out to people. I mean, if you want to do this, there is a level of discomfort, there's a level of sacrifice, there's a level of pain that's associated with sacrificing yourself, your time to see other people come to the Lord. But when you seek titles and you run away from sacrifice, then you're seeking status. Some get offended when not recognized publicly. You see it in their attitude, you see it in their manners, you see it in the way they walk, you see it, what happened to them after they were not recognized in any event, in anything. Then they are seeking for status. They keep malicious, they get angry, they're not happy. Why? Because they've not been recognized publicly. You compare platforms constantly. Everything about you is what's the next thing now? Where am I gonna do this? Where am I gonna put this? Where am I gonna post this? You are so consumed about all that, but there is no relevance to Christ or whatever you're doing. You serve more for validation than internal impact. You just want people to notice you, you want to be seen, you want to be applauded, you love the consumption of the social media likes and shares. You are so consumed with everything that they just give to you. And the moment you don't get it, you're upset, you are angry, you're not happy, you lose your day, you are depressed, and all that stuff. Because it's not about just eternal impact now, it's just about what you can get for yourself. You are more passionate about church politics, church doctrines, church administrative rules than transformational revival that will bring multitudes to Christ. I mean, we are living in a very dangerous time, and this is a clear warning to you and to me because Christianity was never supposed to revolve around self, me, I. The kingdom is not about building our own high exalted prominences and importance, it is about revealing Christ to a dying humanity, to a dying world. And this is what the Lord wants you to do. This is what Christ wants you to do. We cannot continue like this. It is time to change the game and see Christ come back into our lives. We're gonna

take a break. I'm gonna come back and I want you to listen to this song I wrote, and it's called Christ Ambassadors Reaching Everywhere. It's all about the ministry I founded where we just preach the gospel on the streets in the UK and we travel, we do a lot of other things. But I want you to listen to this song. I think it might just bless you, and then we're gonna come back because this is very serious. So enjoy Welcome back. I know you're refreshed now, and I know that you are ready to go into seeing people come back to the Lord. And I'm hoping that the song that inspired you to go to villages and towns, not to keep quiet, to be bold, and to rise to the challenge of soul winning. Let

Hell Is Real So Act Now

me talk to you a little bit about the reality of hell. What is going on? Hell is real. Eternity is real. People dying without Christ is also real. The souls are going somewhere. And if believers do not carry, if any believer do not carry the real revelation of what eternity is, I can tell you, many will perish. Many will go to that place without being prepared for it. Some believers today spend more time arguing online than literally sacrificing some time praying for those that they're arguing against. More time building is placed on how our image should be viewed or respected than actually building and empowering ourselves from a burden perspective. More time discussing positions and scheming for what we can get, than discussing strategic ways to see others come to the Lord. Brothers and sisters, this needs to change. So, how do we return to the kingdom parody this now? Number one, let's ask God to break our heart for souls. Let what breaks God's hearts break ours too. The burden needs to become our daily carrying opportunities. Our behaviors need to change. We need to see the world the way God is seeing it. We need to see our neighbors, our friends, our siblings, our brothers and sisters, and all those around us that have not encountered Christ as something very serious. Number two, we need to stop making Christianity about ourselves. The kingdom is bigger than your recognition. Are you aware of that? It's bigger than whatever you chase. Christianity is not about you. Because if it was all about you, then Christ should have given us an example to show that it's all about you. Bible says, Christ has set an example to us, 1 Peter chapter 2, that we should follow his steps, right? And the Bible says, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life. Now you can see also in conjunction to this scripture in Philippians chapter 2, where it talks about Jesus Christ, taught it not to be equal with God, humbled himself, became a man so that he can save us, so that he can bring us to himself. So Christ emptied himself, Christ left heaven and went through the humiliation of a God being born by a creature that he created. Look at the level of humility, and he did all that to bring us back to him. So you see that Christianity is not about you, it's still about what you can do to bring others to God. So if you understand that, then your perspective might probably start changing. Number three, start evangelizing intentionally. Evangelizing should become a lifestyle, it's not an optional thing you do. You can start at your home, you can start at your neighborhood, you can start at work, you can do online, you can start on your streets, you can start within your family. There is no place that we cannot reach sinners for Christ. So start wherever God wants you to start. Start wherever you are prompted, start wherever you can see human beings and deliberately find a way to bring them to Christ. Number four, pray for boldness again. Many believers have lost spiritual courage, they've lost the boldness to tell other people about Christ. And that's why in Acts chapter 4, the Bible says, when they prayed, the Lord gave them the boldness to share the gospel in spite of the immediate danger of their lives, in spite of the challenge they were facing, God gave them boldness. And when you have the power of the Holy Spirit, the boldness is not just humanistic, this is supernaturally given. You are empowered to be bold, fearless, and courageous. Even in the face of danger, you will not hide Christ. I don't want to say this the Holy Spirit is necessary, critical in actively engaging the sinners to bring conviction and repentance to the Lord. No wonder Jesus told them in Luke chapter 24, verse 14. So Christ knows that the challenge of soul winning, the bringing people to Christ, people are hardened, people are full of resentment about a lot of things. People do not want to get involved in Christ because it will affect the sinful lifestyle. You know, Proverbs say you are ahead in the cause of your iniquity, which means you are bound by the habitual sinful things you do. So those things cannot just let you out. Habits, sinful habits need supernatural power to break them. When it comes to the context of eternity, the context of following Christ, that is why you have to wait. I'm not talking about speaking in tongues without power. Acts chapter 1, verse 8 said, and ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. Ye shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, in Samaria, and also the uttermost part of the earth. Now you can see that the enabling power, the enabling engine behind the ability to preach in your immediate immediate locality, and then start moving forward and start conquering more land for Christ, is because there's an enabling power. There's an engine inside of you, and that's the power of the Holy Spirit. Now, I've seen people that speak in tongues but they never preach. I've seen people that are so possessed, according to them, with the spirit, but they are so dead, they are so unconcerned, so complacent about soul winning. I don't know why they have tongues, but no power. I don't know why they have this Christian language, but there is no burden for souls. There is no visible, clear intention to see other people come out of darkness. Then what is the need of all they have? This is why you need to wait. You need to seek the Lord and examine the spirit that you carry. So I don't know what it is that you have, but yet evangelism soul winning is something that is a taboo in your life. Number five, carry compassion, not superiority. Soul winning is not about pride. We are not competing here, it is about rescue mission. Go ye into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature. We are going to rescue men. Matthew 28 said, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son, of the Holy Spirit. He said, Go and make disciples. Go and make disciples. That's what Christ is saying. So compassion is not compromise. In the name of compassion, you can't become a sinner and we want to win sinners. No. So winning is not about pride. So when it's about rescue mission, and our captain is the Lord Jesus, and He has given us proper example, right? So remember, we have to do this now, otherwise, it's gonna be too late. And number six, eternity is nearer than we think. People are not just leaving temporarily, they are heading somewhere eternally. That is why you need to remember eternity is a reality in many people's lives. So you have to make up your mind and say, God help

me. I mean, in the next common episodes, I will be talking about strategies, how to engage people for Christ, how to preach. Now, some people might just be interested in doing this, but they just don't know where to start. They're not trained, they're not discipled, and they're not effective. There are two strategies that have been developed that can actually help you preach the gospel efficiently and more powerfully to see men and women come to the Lord Jesus. Compassion, not superiority. Remember, eternity is here, closer than you think. So let me leave you with this question. If Jesus returned today, will he find you building his kingdom or will he find you building your image inside or outside the church? Brother, sister, so Sadai, and heaven is not impressed if everything about you is just to seek what is temporal. One day, all these things that we are so obsessed about, all these things that we're so passionate about, the platforms, the microphones, the church positions, the money, the this, the that, they will disappear and they will become nothing one day. But souls will remain eternally. So do not spend your Christianity chasing visibility that has no connotation or relevance to seeing people come out of darkness. People are perishing around you. You know that. And it's possible that some of your friends have passed away, maybe some siblings have passed away, uncles, aunties have passed away. Or there's some people around you know that they never found Christ, they passed away. You don't cry about it. You're not concerned where will their eternity meet them? And a lot of them you know from observation, from personal interaction, you know that they died without Christ. Can you imagine how painful it is where they will spend eternity? I pray that God will deliver us from selfish Christianity. Because if you're not preaching, you're just selfish, respectively. And if you're not doing anything to come out of your selfishness, that's just stubbornness. I pray that may He restore the burden again to you. May He restore that compassion that you once have, the evangelizing zeal and desire, the soul-winning mandate that you take so seriously. See, the Bible said the broken and the contract, the Lord will not despise. You used to be broken for souls. God needs to restore it again. And your fire that you had, He needs to restore it again. The time management that included soul winning it, He needs to restore it again. Because the greatest title in the kingdom is not Sister Famous, Brother Famous. It is well done, that faithful servant. Maybe today is the day some believers can just stop noticing themselves too much and start focusing on Jesus to transform and change their lives. I'm gonna ask you this question Who around me is dying without Christ right now? That I have not shared the gospel with? Who around me that the Lord has prompted me to speak to them about Jesus, but I have not done that yet. Who around me had died without Christ? And I never had that chance to obey the Lord in sharing the gospel, and that I know they are possibly in eternity that will be painful and regretful. I want you to examine your heart and say God to help you. Lord, I just want to pray for these words. I want to pray for myself and pray for my brothers and sisters. Those that have been able to listen to this podcast up to this point, I'm praying that you will strengthen them, wake them up. And I pray that this podcast will not just end as a means of just entertaining their mind or entertaining their brain. I pray that in their heart they will wake up to the reality that you are calling them to stop seeking status, but you seek souls that are dying. May your grace abide with them and help them to be faithful servants in Jesus' name. Amen. I want to say a massive thank you for every one of you that have listened, and I'm hoping that you will take action and see the transformation happen in your life, and God is gonna help you. Okay, so we're gonna have more conversation later about this topic of trying to reach the lost, and we are gonna do quite a lot of things to support us and empower us to become the best we can be with all the principles and the resources that Jesus Christ has provided for us. Just be aware, I have an app which is called an Evangelizing Discipleship app. It's called a Massive. We're still working on it, it's gonna be out very soon, but keep praying for us. It's gonna be an app that can really transform the way you preach and can really help you do the work of God effectively. And I can't wait to share that with you as soon as it's ready to be released. Enjoy the rest of your day. We're gonna listen to that song again just to remind you, Christ Ambassador Richie Day Everywhere is exactly what God wants us to do. Enjoy, and I'll speak to you next week.
