A new book about the heroic actions of Montana veterans will soon be released by Kalispell native and Vietnam War veteran Doug Sterner, a military historian who has spent his entire career advocating for his fellow service members. Daily Inter Lake Features Editor Heidi Desch spoke with Sterner about his new book and tells us about his process and the sometimes sensitive task of interviewing our nation's heroes. 

“Beyond Belief: True Stories of Montana Heroes That Defy Comprehension” is set to be released on July 1 in hardback, paperback and Kindle on Amazon, or from the author’s website at www.herobooks.org.
