Speaker 1:

Ever walk into a room and instantly feel heavy, like something just clung to your spirit? Or maybe you leave a conversation feeling drained, agitated or off-center, wondering what just attached to me? You're not imagining things. People are projecting, environments are imprinting and energy is transferring, whether you notice it or not. Today we're diving into soul laundering a powerful, unapologetic cleanse of all that ain't yours, because sage is great but, baby, there are deeper, richer, more ancestral ways to cleanse and reclaim your soul's radiance. If your aura has been infiltrated, this episode is your spiritual rinse cycle.

Speaker 1:

Let's begin, ladies and gentlemen. I know that your time is valuable, so let's get started, okay? You know we live in a world where energy is contagious, not just the good kind, the light, the love, the inspiration. I'm talking about the weight we pick up just from being around people who are spiraling environments that are chaotic, or even scrolling through social media filled with projection and pain. We absorb so much more than we realize, and if we don't cleanse it, we carry it. It's what I call soul debris leftover energy that doesn't belong to us but clings to our aura, clouds our clarity and drags down our vibration. In this episode, we're not just talking about burning sage or waving a stick of Palo Santo, thank you. Reclaim your center and protect your inner light from emotional and spiritual pollutants. So, whether you're an empath, a healer, a high vibe leader or just tired of feeling like something's always weighing you down, this episode is for you. Let's get your spirit sparkling again. Speaker 1:

Now let's begin your cleansing. What is soul debris and why you feel drained For no reason? Let's start with something most people ignore until it's too late. Your energy doesn't lie, but sometimes you don't know why it's crying. Have you ever left someone's house, hung up the phone or even scrolled online and suddenly felt off Like your mood shifted without warning. Your thoughts felt heavier. You began questioning yourself, feeling anxious, exhausted, irritated or worse, like you just inherited a sadness or stress that wasn't even yours. That's not your imagination. That's soul debris.

Speaker 1:

Soul debris is the spiritual version of smoke after a fire. It's the energetic aftermath of emotional exchanges, toxic environments, psychic projections or simply being too open in a world full of unhealed people. You don't have to be in a fistfight or an argument to pick it up. Soul debris attaches silently. It lingers in conversations. It hides in compliments laced with envy. It settles in rooms where grief was never fully processed. It builds up like invisible dust on the walls of your spirit and unless you know how to clean it, it piles up. Let's be clear this is not about blame. This is about awareness, because when you're unaware, you become a spiritual landfill for everything other people don't know how to manage. You carry ancestral trauma, social pressure, spiritual guilt, workplace tension and even people's unspoken disappointment in themselves, all because they leaked energy and you were unguarded.

Speaker 1:

Soul Debris shows up as chronic fatigue that no nap can fix. It shows up as scattered thoughts, heightened anxiety, restlessness, mood swings, lack of inspiration, even physical symptoms like headaches, shoulder tightness or a heavy chest. That's not random, that's energetic buildup. And it didn't all start with you. Now, some of us are especially sensitive Empaths, healers, caregivers, those born under water signs or with strong intuitive gifts. You may feel this more intensely, but make no mistake everyone is impacted by soul debris because we live in a vibrational world. Just like we breathe in unseen air, we also move through unseen energy fields, and every person, place or experience leaves an imprint.

Speaker 1:

Think of your energy field like white clothing. If you sit on a dirty bench, your clothes absorb it. If you hug someone sweaty, your shirt holds the scent. If you walk through fog, your outfit dampens. That's how your aura works. You absorb things, but, unlike your clothes, you can't toss your soul in a washing machine. That requires intention.

Speaker 1:

So if you've been wondering why you feel off, why your thoughts don't feel like your own or why you're constantly trying to return to a piece that seems to keep slipping away, it might not be your mindset, it might be your energy. You may just be spiritually cluttered and beloved. We don't just need healing, we need cleansing, not once, but regularly, because when your soul is carrying what doesn't belong to it. Your path becomes heavier than it's supposed to be, your blessings take longer, your clarity gets clouded and your intuition gets confused by signals that were never yours to process. This is why soul laundering is essential, not as a luxury, as a necessity, Not just when things get bad, but as a lifestyle. You are not a sponge. You're a mirror with boundaries.

Speaker 1:

Now that we've unpacked the truth about soul debris, let's get one thing straight you were never meant to be a sponge. That's not your spiritual assignment. Somewhere along the way, especially for those of us who were raised to be strong, be nice or just keep the peace we unconsciously accepted the idea that absorbing other people's pain was noble, that holding space meant holding everything, that being kind meant being energetically open all the time. But here's the truth. That's not sacred. That's self-abandonment in disguise. No-transcript Projection is not your purpose.

Speaker 1:

Protection is. Let's break that down. A sponge pulls in everything it touches water, oil, dirt, soap and bacteria. A mirror, on the other hand, reflects only what's in front of it. It doesn't keep anything. It doesn't internalize the mess it reflects, then returns to its original state. That's the energetic standard. We must reclaim Spiritual reflection with boundaries. See when people dump their unhealed trauma onto you through manipulation, guilt tripping, sarcasm, jealousy or plain negativity. Through manipulation, guilt-tripping, sarcasm, jealousy or plain negativity. That is not love. That is emotional projection. And projection is like mud it only sticks if you're wet with unprocessed wounds yourself. So your job is to dry off, spiritually speaking, heal what's leaking, fortify your field, build boundaries so strong they don't need to be spoken, only felt.

Speaker 1:

Now let's talk about empathic entanglement, a term I use to describe the invisible emotional web we get caught in when we feel too much too often and forget to cleanse. Empaths aren't weak. In fact, we are some of the most powerful spiritual transmitters on the planet. But without boundaries, our gift becomes a curse. We start confusing other people's feelings for our own, we start adjusting ourselves to avoid other people's discomfort and we begin shrinking our light to avoid triggering someone else's shadow. Leads to Resentment, emotional burnout, creative blockages, financial stagnation, even physical illness, because your nervous system was never designed to be a filter for the world's emotional pollution. So what do we do? We stop spiritual people-pleasing, we stop confusing kindness with codependency, we stop calling ourselves healers while leaking energy every time someone needs help, and we return to our original design reflectors of light, holders of truth, protected by boundaries that honor our purpose, not guilt us into martyrdom.

Speaker 1:

Here's a mindset shift to carry with you today. I do not carry what is not mine. I can care without absorbing. I can love without leaking. I am not a sponge, I am a sacred mirror and my reflection is protected. And that my love is the beginning of energetic sovereignty.

Speaker 1:

Why sage alone isn't enough and what to use instead? Now I want to say this with deep respect and reverence, because I know we live in a time where spiritual practices are trending and people mean well, sage has become the go-to tool for energetic cleansing. You walk into any wellness store and there it is Bundled, branded, even scented with lavender or rose. Burn it, wave it and boom, you're cleansed Right, well, not quite. Let's get something straight. Sage is sacred, but sage is not a shortcut. White sage, specifically, has roots in indigenous American traditions and was used in ceremony with purpose, preparation and prayer. It wasn't a one-size-fits-all energy eraser and in Ifa and African spiritual traditions, sage isn't even traditionally part of our cleansing rituals.

Speaker 1:

Our ancestors had other, deeper ways, rituals that engaged not just the air, but the earth, the water, the fire, the voice and the ancestors. It wasn't about one herb. It was about alignment. So let's talk real. If your spirit is heavy from years of emotional buildup, ancestral trauma or deep spiritual entanglements, burning a stick of sage is like trying to clean a mansion with a paper towel it may make a momentary difference, but it won't reach the roots, especially when the energy you're dealing with isn't just stagnant, but aggressive, jealous, traumatic or ancestrally lodged. What your spirit needs is not just smoke. It needs ritual resonance. Here are some of the deeper tools that our ancestors used and that you can reclaim Spiritual baths and soaks using herbs like basil, rue, hyssop, florida water and even fresh coconut water to wash the body and auric field.

Speaker 1:

These rituals dissolve energetic attachments like nothing else. Think of it as a spiritual reset in liquid form. Candle and firework. Fire transforms. A single candle can carry your intention into the unseen, burning prayers, written releases or even naming what you're letting go of out loud into the flame. This is soul alchemy. The smoke rises and so does your vibration, sound and breath. Clearing your own voice is a weapon, whether you chant, hum, drum or use crystal singing bowls. Sound is medicine. Use your breath with focused intention.

Speaker 1:

Inhale light, exhale debris, call out what's attached and command it to leave. Speak your name into the room like thunder and reclaim your presence. Herbal floor washes and room mists Wash your floors, doorways and walls with protective herbs like rosemary bay leaf and lemongrass. Or make a spiritual mist using rose water, salt and essential oils to clear the air around you. Don't just cleanse your body. Cleanse your space.

Speaker 1:

Mirror work and soul gazing. Sometimes the debris is inside us Beliefs that aren't even ours Pain we inherited, fears we absorbed from caregivers. Stand in front of a mirror, look into your own eyes and speak life. Speak return, say. I call back every part of me that I gave away just to survive. Ancestor prayers and offerings your spirit team is real and they've been waiting for you to stop trying to fight spiritual battles with only store-bought tools. Light a candle, pour a glass of water, speak their names, ask for guidance, invite protection. Let them assist you in your cleansing, because you don't have to do this alone.

Speaker 1:

And let's be honest, some of what we carry can't just be smoked away. It must be named, released, ritually buried or spiritually cut, because some projections were curses, some jealousy came with intent and some energy cords were soul ties masked as friendships. So while sage is beautiful, it's not enough. When the wound is deep, the energy is complex or the environment is soaked in trauma. You need more than sin. You need substance. You need rituals that engage your whole self mind, body, spirit, breath, water, earth and the unseen realms. You need cleansing that feels like freedom, not just fragrance, and, most of all, you need to give yourself permission to go deeper, to stop surface saging your way through soul blockages that require ceremony.

Speaker 1:

The seven deep soul cleansing rituals. You've never tried, so know that I care about you. Let me say this with my whole chest your healing journey deserves depth. You are not surface level and neither is your pain, so your cleansing rituals should feel like soul medicine, not spiritual trend chasing. Let's walk through seven deeply rooted, highly effective soul-cleansing rituals that go far beyond sage. These practices cleanse your energy on multiple levels physical, spiritual, ancestral and emotional.

Speaker 1:

One the ancestor calling bath. This is not just a soak, it's a sacred conversation. Boil a pot of fresh basil, rue bay leaves and a cinnamon stick Strain and pour it into a warm bath. Add Florida water or rose water and light a white candle. Place a glass of water near the tub. As you enter the water, say aloud I honor my bloodline, I cleanse all that clings. I release what was never mine to carry. Let the water speak to your bones. Let your tears fall if they must. This is about washing the spiritual memory of pain and opening a channel for ancestral wisdom. You're not just cleansing, you're remembering who walks with you.

Speaker 1:

Two coconut ori wash head. Cleansing your ori. Your head is the seat of your destiny and sometimes it's carrying confusion, fatigue or psychic weight. Take one whole coconut, open it and pour the water into a bowl. Mix it with a little honey, coconut milk and a pinch of sea salt. Pray over it. Then slowly pour it over your head in the shower. As you do say. I clear my crown, I release confusion, I realign with my divine path. Let the coolness refresh your spirit. Afterwards, rest your head wrapped in white cloth or lay it on white sheets. This is a full reset mind, purpose and spiritual alignment.

Speaker 1:

Three the wind and whisper ritual. Air holds power. It carries words, breath, spirit. Stand in front of an open window or outdoors. Take three deep breaths, speak aloud everything that has been projected onto you, say their names, say their words, say what you've been holding in. Then declare I release this into the wind. What is not mine cannot remain. Exhale forcefully and let the wind take it. Follow with a prayer or chant like Ori Migbe Mi, my head uplifts me, the whisper becomes your power. The whisper becomes your power, the wind becomes your witness.

Speaker 1:

Four mirror reflections soul anchoring. Place a mirror in front of you. Light a candle behind you so your reflection is illuminated in flickering gold. Gaze directly into your own eyes and say I see you, I forgive you, I call back every part of myself I gave away. You are whole, you are sacred, you are mine. This is more than affirmation, it's anchoring. It pulls fragmented soul parts back into your field. Do this nightly for seven days to rebuild spiritual confidence and release imposter energies.

Speaker 1:

Five earth holding meditation. This is for grounding, clearing and releasing trauma from the body. Go outside barefoot or sit with your hands placed on soil, close your eyes and whisper. Take this from the earth, let it be transformed. Visualize your pain, fear or projections flowing down into the soil through your hands or feet. Stay still until your body feels lighter. When done, thank the earth. Modoop aye, I give thanks to the earth.

Speaker 1:

Six mouth unbinding, breaking projections. Words cast spells, especially when someone speaks fear, doubt or limitation over you. Take a piece of red thread and wrap it gently around your wrist or a small stone. Speak every limiting phrase you've internalized. You'll never make it. You're too much, you're not enough. Then say I break this in my name. I unbind my spirit. I reject what was never mine. Burn or bury the thread. You are unbound.

Speaker 1:

Seven psalms and chants for clearing unbound. Seven psalms and chants for clearing. The psalms are ancient chants with coded frequencies. Pair one with a Yoruba chant for protection or cleansing. Example recite Psalm 91 aloud while anointing your feet, hands and forehead with Florida water or consecrated oil. Then repeat consecrated oil. Then repeat orimidami egbimigabimi. My head protects me, my spiritual companions lift me.

Speaker 1:

This combination unlocks a powerful fusion of vibration, intention and ancestral backing the energetic cost of holding other people's pain. Let's talk about the real price we pay when we carry what doesn't belong to us, because while it may seem noble to be the strong one, the fixer, the listener, the emotional sponge, it comes with an energetic bill that keeps collecting interest and eventually it bankrupts your spirit. When you hold on to other people's pain, whether it's out of love, loyalty, guilt, fear of being abandoned or just not knowing how to let go, you begin to leak Not just your energy, but your time, your peace, your clarity, your creative vision, even your health yes, your health. Let's break this down, because this isn't just about bad vibes. This is about what happens when you become a storage unit for someone else's grief vibes. This is about what happens when you become a storage unit for someone else's grief, anger, shame or chaos. Even if they didn't mean to leave it with you, if you didn't clear it, it stayed.

Speaker 1:

Energetically, you begin to feel heavy without cause, restless in your sleep, confused about what you want, unable to manifest clearly random mood shifts. You can't explain triggers that don't match your trauma. Physically, it can show up as chronic fatigue, low immunity, tension in the shoulders and neck, digestive issues, headaches, brain fog, shortness of breath, skin breakouts or inflammation. Emotionally, you may start to feel resentment toward people you once loved, withdraw from your dreams, feel uninspired or creatively blocked, question your self-worth, avoid rest because it feels unsafe to be alone with your own thoughts. Spiritually, the consequences run even deeper. Your aura, the electromagnetic field around your body that acts like a protective and communicative force, starts to thin out. It loses its shine. It becomes vulnerable to external influence. You start receiving mixed messages from your intuition because you're operating on an energy field that's not clean.

Speaker 1:

You may find yourself praying harder but hearing less, working harder but manifesting slower, doing all the right things, things, but wondering why things still feel off. Let me be direct sometimes the delay is not from your ancestors, it's not from your destiny, it's from your spiritual bandwidth being tied up with emotional contracts you were never supposed to sign. Because when you hold on to someone else's unprocessed pain, you unconsciously send the signal to the universe I can carry more, I'm available for overflow that isn't mine, and the universe responds accordingly, not out of punishment, out of vibration. Even worse, it sends a signal to the people around you you don't have to heal because I'll carry the weight for you. And that creates spiritual imbalance. You stop growing because you're too busy shielding. They stop healing because they're too comfortable projecting and you both stay stuck.

Speaker 1:

Here's the truth. Nobody teaches. You can love someone and still refuse to carry their pain. You can honor someone's journey without dragging their trauma into your own timeline. You can walk with people through their darkness, but not at the cost of dimming your own light. This is the energetic cost we don't talk about enough. It's why we feel emotionally bankrupt even when we're doing good things for others. It's why so many healers, mothers, coaches, teachers and caregivers burn out, because you can't be the plug and the power source if your own cord is frayed. So what do we do? We remember that release is an act of love. We remember that boundaries are blessings in disguise. We remember that carrying someone's burden is not the same as healing it, and we choose, moment by moment, to return to ourselves, because your soul was never meant to be an emotional landfill. It was designed to radiate, to attract, to overflow with clarity, creativity and peace. But you can't do that when you're carrying everyone else's debris. It's time to let it go.

Speaker 1:

Creating your soul laundry routine, spiritual hygiene plan We've talked about the buildup, the burnout and the deep rituals. Now it's time to personalize the practice, because, just like we have routines to brush our teeth, wash our bodies or care for our skin, we need routines that cleanse the spirit just as consistently. Let's call it your soul laundry and, beloved your soul deserves nothing less than luxury level care. When you create a spiritual hygiene routine, you're not just doing a ritual, you're declaring to the universe my energy matters, my clarity matters. I am not available for debris projections or emotional trespassing. So let's build your soul laundry routine step by step.

Speaker 1:

One morning Start clean not just cute Before the phone, before the to-do list, before the world gets your attention. Reclaim your energy from the dream world, from stress and from yesterday. Daily soul cleanse five to 10 minutes. Light a white or blue candle. Spray a salt mist or Florida water blend around your aura. Stand in front of a mirror and say I return to myself, I cleanse all that clings, I move in clarity. Today, chant or hum for one minute. Sound aligns the field. Stretch your arms upward, say aloud only what serves me may remain. This practice sends a message to your spirit team and to your subconscious You're in command of your energy.

Speaker 1:

Two weekly, the spiritual scrub down. Choose one day a week, preferably before a new week starts, like Sunday night or early Monday morning. This is your deep soul rinse Example ritual. Clean your physical space, energy sticks to clutter. Do a floor wash using water, bay leaves, a pinch of salt and lemon peel. Bathe with an herbal cleansing soak or perform a coconut ori rinse Journal for 10 minutes. What did I carry this week that wasn't mine? Burn the paper or tear it into pieces and flush it away. Light a red or black candle for protection and sealing. Wrap yourself in white or neutral clothing to reset Three monthly the energy audit.

Speaker 1:

Every 28 to 30 days, do a soul level check-in around the new moon or full moon. Your intuition is heightened and it's time to clear blockages before they manifest into stagnation. Ask yourself who have I been overgiving to? What emotions have I avoided? Where am I holding energy that doesn't align with my current path? Practice, speak names aloud that you need to spiritually disconnect from Past partners, friends, bosses, family dynamics. Perform the wind and whisper ritual or earth holding meditation. Burn a petition asking for return of your energy. Place obsidian or black tourmaline near your bed that night. This is your spiritual boundary recalibration.

Speaker 1:

Four, as needed, the emergency reset. Life be lifing right. Sometimes it's an argument a chaotic public space, an energy vampire phone call or even an online encounter that leaves you spiritually rattled. Your go-to emergency reset. Spray a spiritual mist on your hands, crown and chest. Rub your palms together and hover them over your heart. Breathe in through the nose, exhale audibly through the mouth. Say I cut the cord of this moment. I retrieve my power. If possible, step into nature or sunlight, even if just for two minutes. Hum or repeat the chant Egbimi-gbimi, orimi-gbimi. My spiritual companions carry me. My head protects me. Do this instead of carrying the funk of a bad exchange all day long. Five spiritual protection, maintenance.

Speaker 1:

Soul laundry is not just about cleansing. It's also about shielding. Incorporate spiritual armor into your everyday life. Wear consecrated oils or bracelets charged with intention. Carry protective herbs like bay leaf, clove or rosemary in your bag. Speak daily affirmations like I am wrapped in light. Only what serves my highest good may enter my space. Re-anoint your head and feet weekly. You walk with purpose. You deserve coverage. Your soul laundry isn't about perfection. It's about consistency, care and self-respect.

Speaker 1:

The more you make space for these small moments of sacred cleansing, the stronger your field becomes and the less susceptible you are to spiritual static. And here's the best part your energy starts speaking before you enter the room. People feel your clarity. Projections bounce off, confusion clears. Your spirit becomes unmistakable Because a clean aura shines. A spiritually grounded person doesn't chase peace, they radiate it. Closing invocation, reclaiming your light.

Speaker 1:

Now that we've done the work, now that we've named what clings, faced what drains and released what no longer belongs in our field, I want you to breathe yes, right now. Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth, drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw, uncurl your spirit Because, beloved, you are whole again. And in this moment I want you to repeat these words with me. Speak them like medicine, let them echo through your bones, let them settle into the cracks, let them stitch up everything you once believed was too fragmented to heal. Say aloud or silently this is your soul reclamation prayer.

Speaker 1:

I call back every piece of myself I gave away To silence, to survival, to pleasing, to pain. I release the voices that were never mine, the shame, the judgment, the fear, the projections. I am no longer a sponge. I am no longer a dumping ground for chaos. I am no longer a storage unit for spiritual debris. I am a mirror, sacred and whole. I am a flame wrapped in divine clarity. I am a soul sacred and whole. I am a flame wrapped in divine clarity. I am a soul unbound and shining. I break spiritual contracts I never agreed to. I cancel emotional debts that were never mine. I return other people's energy to sender, with love but with finality.

Speaker 1:

From this moment on, my spirit walks clean. My aura speaks boundaries, without words. My light does not dim to accommodate shadow. I shine, I rise, I reflect only what serves my highest alignment. So be it, so it is, and Ashe, Ashe, ashe. You've just completed your soul laundering, but this isn't a one-time cleanse. This is your way of life now. Let it become your rhythm, let it become your right. Protect your light like it's royalty, because it is. And remember just because someone throws something at your spirit doesn't mean you have to catch it. You are free, you are sovereign, you are sacred. Now go live like it.
